    Great location.

    I thought this Hotel was an excellent choice for sightseeing in Minato Mirai. As the reviews said, every dish was delicious and there was a great variety of drinks. I missed the food service hours on the club floor and arrived late, so I only had drinks, but there were many kinds of cocktails and all of them were very good. For breakfast, the truffle-and-cheese omelet and the sliced roast beef were especially tasty. Since it was on the club floor, I could avoid the crowds and enjoy a relaxed meal while taking in the view from the window. The Room faced the city side, but I could still see Minato Mirai’s cityscape and even part of the sea, so the view from the window was better than expected. The guest room was clean and had a ReFa hair dryer, and there were high-quality amenities and drinks provided as well. Also, because it is directly connected to Queen’s Square, it was very convenient to go back and forth between shopping and the Hotel, and to take the Minato Mirai Line for sightseeing. This time I only used the club lounge, but next time I would definitely like to try one of this Hotel’s highly rated restaurants as well.

    Reliable Comfort

    You’ll feel comfortable no matter when you visit. Enjoying a glass of wine on the balcony while taking in the panoramic night view of Yokohama is truly special. We also appreciate the thoughtful layout with a separate bath, shower, and toilet. Thank you as well for helping celebrate my birthday.

    The Room was clean, ...

    The Room was clean, and the view was wonderful! In many Hotels, the top bedding is often like a thin sheet, but here it was a fluffy comforter, so it was very comfortable to sleep. With both a shower room and a bathtub, I could relax in the bath and unwind after a long day. It is directly connected to the subway underground without going outside, making it easy to get around even in rain or heat, and I would like to stay here again next time.

    Direct access from the station is always a plus.

    Even in a torrential downpour like yesterday, it’s truly convenient and reassuring that you can reach your Room via the Minatomirai Line without going outside even once. Even when a typhoon is forecast, you can feel at ease on the day. A Hotel you can trust is the best!

    Relax and unwind

    I enjoy hotel stays as a hobby. This time, I stayed at this Hotel for 3 nights and 4 days, and enjoyed the Minato Mirai night view from my Room. The Hotel was clean and had a calm atmosphere. I also used the Facility pool; since it wasn’t crowded, I could swim freely, which was great. The Room was clean, and the bathroom was stylish as well. There was also a DVD player, so I could watch DVDs I brought with me and relax at my own pace. I also appreciated the complimentary drinks in the Room. However, there is no coin laundry service—only paid laundry/cleaning—so for longer stays it may be a bit inconvenient. For that reason, I rated the Facility 4 stars. For meals: on Day 1 lunch, I had the Summer House club sandwich set; the chilled pumpkin soup was delicious. On Day 2 dinner, we had a recommended course menu at Taishimasa (Japanese cuisine). Everything—from the steak to the eel—looked beautiful and tasted wonderful. My husband also said the imo shochu was very good. On Day 3, we used in-room dining from Cafe Tosca. This was also a fish-and-meat course meal that arrived hot and tasted great. It would have been even better if soup had been included for a full-course feel. The Hotel is directly connected to Tokyu Plaza, which is very convenient. I was very satisfied and felt refreshed. Thank you very much.

    A Relaxing Retreat

    Room

    Last time, I was very happy to have a view of the Ferris wheel. This time, I was grateful that I could check in early. However, it was my first time being guided to use the automated check-in, and having to enter information for my roommate as well (0?) was a bit of a hassle. Since we were assigned our Room early, it wasn’t facing the Ferris wheel, which was disappointing. Breakfast was delicious, and I thought the staff were excellent—working efficiently with attentive greetings, guidance, and hospitality.

    I stayed here for a ...

    I stayed here for a conference. The night view from my Room was truly stunning, and I was able to enjoy a luxurious time while taking in the Minato Mirai scenery. It was especially memorable to experience a different side of Yokohama compared to the daytime. The Accommodation was clean, and all the staff were kind, so I felt comfortable throughout my stay. The location was also excellent—convenient for getting to the conference venue and for exploring the surrounding area. I had a very comfortable stay, which helped ease some of the conference-related tension. I would definitely like to stay here again when visiting Yokohama.

    Highly satisfied!

    We loved everything—the spacious lobby, tea time there, the Room, the sink area, and the generously sized bath. Breakfast was delicious too. We were a bit confused at first (it felt different from what we expected when making our own Reservation), but it turned out to be truly wonderful. Check-out is at 11:00, so we could take our time and really enjoy our stay. We were very happy. The staff were kind as well. Since we’re older, we didn’t understand how to use the lovely bathtub at first and panicked a little, but once we figured it out, we could relax. Thanks to that, even the morning was great!

    I had the best time to recharge in the Bay Area.

    Thank you very much for your kind hospitality during our stay. With my mother’s beloved Minato Mirai views and the warm smiles of your staff, it was truly a wonderful, hospitality-filled experience, and we would like to express our sincere gratitude once again. From this perfectly located spot overlooking Minato Mirai, the bay area scenery changes beautifully over time—no matter how many times we visit, it is a view we could admire forever. For a stay focused on relaxing inside the Hotel, time in the lounge is one of the highlights. At afternoon tea in the Club Lounge, there was an excellent variety including nine kinds of nuts, four kinds of macarons, cakes, and more; we especially enjoyed the pleasantly sweet salted caramel macaron and chai. During cocktail time, there was also a wide selection of mocktails, which allowed us to fully enjoy ourselves even though we are not fond of alcohol. At breakfast, the chef’s freshly made cheese omelet topped with sliced truffle and truffle oil was outstanding. The roast beef as well as Maison Kayser’s assorted Danish pastries were excellent, and there was also a great selection of salads and fruits—we were truly impressed by the high quality of breakfast overall. It was a lovely stay where we could feel your attention to detail throughout. We look forward to visiting again.

    The nostalgic Tokyu Bay Hotel!

    I stayed here nearly 20 years ago and had a sea-side Room then, but this time I had a city-side Room. The Facility felt a bit dated, but it was well cleaned and I had a comfortable stay. All the staff were pleasant and kind. I sometimes enjoy staying at a Hotel in Minato Mirai on weekends to refresh, and this Room was more than spacious enough! One small disappointment was that the gap around the shower room door was tricky, and after using it the first time, the bathroom floor ended up soaked... I felt it would be a bit of a hassle to contact the front desk, so from the second time onward I used it carefully, but I still wondered how others manage it??? Other than that, I had an enjoyable time and it was a great weekend. Thank you again for taking care of me during this stay.

    Club Floor Access

    Due to bad weather, my plans changed and I arrived earlier than the check-in time. When I spoke to the staff, they kindly escorted me up to the 25th floor, which was a big help. I then enjoyed tea time in the lounge. The lounge was bright and had a calm atmosphere. Although I was traveling solo, the evening lounge was also comfortable, and the food served was very delicious. It was a bit on the salty side, but it may be just right if you enjoy it with alcohol. Another plus was that many guests were older, so it stayed quiet and relaxing. Among the nearby Hotels’ club lounges, this one became my favorite. Breakfast could be chosen between Cafe Tosca and the lounge, but I don’t like crowded breakfasts, so I chose the lounge instead. Thanks to that, I could take my time and enjoy a tasty meal. However, the machine-made iced coffee wasn’t good (it’s diluted with ice by design, so that may be unavoidable), so I went out for Blue Bottle Coffee. This time, it was my first time using this brand of amenities on the club floor, and they were excellent. As for the guest room—since it’s a historic building—the toilet/shower booth door makes a loud bang every time it closes. It’s not a big issue as long as you’re careful. One disappointment (and lesson learned) is that I had read in someone’s Review or blog that separate pajama sets were provided on the club floor, but in reality only a one-piece type was available; even when I asked at reception there were no alternatives. I should have confirmed with the Hotel beforehand (for me they’re pretty essential). Overall it was very good and I’d like to stay again. If you register as a member, you can still get 12:00 checkout even if you make your Reservation through channels other than official booking—this perk made me very happy.

    It seems they had a comfortable stay (my friends stayed there).

    Three non-smoking friends stayed on the Club Floor in a triple room. Check-in on the 25th floor seemed busy, but they were happy that the Club Lounge was fairly quiet during afternoon tea and breakfast. They went out to Chinatown for dinner, so it was a shame they couldn’t make use of cocktail time. The amenities were different from those provided on the standard floors, and there were special touches throughout that are unique to the Club Floor. Next time, we’d like to relax and enjoy it at a more leisurely pace.

    It was comfortable.

    We used it for a concert and an overnight get-together with friends from high school. The night view was beautiful, and with a balcony, the Room was spacious and comfortable. There was an ice machine right in front of our Room, which was convenient. There is also a convenience store downstairs (open until 11:00 PM), which was perfect for light snacks and drinks in the Room.

    It was a wonderful Hotel.

    From the Room, we had a beautiful view of Nippon Maru, Cosmo Clock 21, Landmark Tower, and more, and the night view from the balcony was wonderful. The lounge also offered a wide variety of delicious drinks and food, and since it wasn’t too crowded, we were able to relax and enjoy it. The Room was spotless and comfortable. The staff’s attentiveness was excellent.

    Satisfied.

    I stayed at the Bay Tokyu again after a long time, and it was very comfortable—I really enjoyed my time at the Hotel. Unfortunately, the view was disappointing because of a typhoon, but the Room was pleasant to stay in and the service was great, so I was satisfied. Above all, the location is excellent. I would definitely like to stay again.

    Yokohama Port Opening Fireworks! A Typhoon Is Approaching!

    I’m a returning guest. Last year, I watched the fireworks from the same type of Room. This year, it might have been canceled due to a typhoon, but it went ahead as scheduled—absolutely beautiful. The drone show after the fireworks was also wonderful. After that, we had dinner service in our Room; it was very delicious. We’ll be back again next year.

    Great value for money.

    The Bay Hotel Tokyu is conveniently located with easy access from Minatomirai Station, making it very convenient for getting around. As a full-service city Hotel, the Rooms are spacious and clean, the amenities are well stocked, and the breakfast is high quality—overall, it was an excellent value and a very satisfying stay.

    The breakfast is delicious.

    I stayed here because I wanted to visit a nearby Hotel with a great breakfast. Since it was a weekday, I was able to enjoy my meal at a relaxed pace, which was nice. There was a wide variety of options, and in particular, all of the Maison Kayser bread was delicious. However, the seating is quite close together and some aisles are narrow, so I would prefer to avoid staying on weekends or other busy times. It’s a Hotel I’d like to visit again by taking time off on a weekday.

    The perfect Hotel for a special occasion!

    The view of the Ferris wheel from the balcony was stunning, making this Hotel perfect for celebrating a special anniversary. The staff were consistently courteous, and the team member who delivered a cake to our Room via room service kindly helped us take photos as well, which made it a truly wonderful memory. The omelet at breakfast was especially delicious, and we were very satisfied. Thanks to you, we were able to spend an unforgettable anniversary. If we have the opportunity again, we would love to stay here again.

    Thank you for a wonderful time in the suite. The relaxed meal with room service and the view from the window were amazing. I’m especially grateful to the male staff member who assisted us at checkout for his thoughtful care!!     I had another fulfilling stay this year.

    Since around 2023, I’ve stayed here every year from the day before my birthday through my birthday. One reason I choose this Hotel is the unbeatable location right in front of Cosmo World, with that iconic Ferris wheel in view—plus the best of both worlds with either a bay view or a park view showcasing the charm of this port city, and the added bonus of having a balcony. Beyond that, I’m always impressed by the staff’s service. You can really feel how much emphasis is placed on hospitality, and from watching how team members carry themselves during my stay, it’s clear many take genuine pride in professional service. I honestly can’t imagine ever feeling uncomfortable because of how someone treats you here. I didn’t use it this time, but I also love the breakfast buffet. And what truly deserves special mention is the view bath. Being able to stretch out and soak while enjoying an incredible景色 in any weather or at any time of day is a luxury you simply can’t experience anywhere else in Yokohama. If you’re considering this Hotel, I highly recommend choosing a Room with a view bath—you’ll definitely feel it’s worth more than the price. On the bay-view side, dawn and early evening are especially atmospheric; on the park-view side, the city lights at night feel even more romantic. Overall, since I started staying at this Hotel, other Hotels have started to pale in comparison… (laugh) I plan to stay again next year—and honestly would love to come back several times before then.     One of the older yet reliable Hotels

    The building is older, but the interior has been thoroughly updated and is very comfortable. The in-Room amenities—especially the renovated bathroom facilities—were a welcome improvement. The staff are well trained, and it’s impressive that every stay is consistently satisfying. While new luxury Hotels continue to open in the Minato Mirai area, this Hotel offers an excellent balance of price and value and comes highly recommended. The parking lot is also very easy to use.

    Lovely Room

    It was a wonderful Hotel, just as the reviews said, and the Room was great. A corner Room on the Bay Club Floor. Not only the Room, but also the view, afternoon tea, cocktail time, and breakfast were all truly excellent. It felt like we were abroad. We had a fun two-day stay. My friend and I are already talking about wanting to go again.

    It had been a while, but it was very good.

    When I looked at my photos, I realized it had been eight years since my last visit—since my son’s graduation ceremony. When he was little, we often came for Tosca’s carbonara, so I was disappointed to see how much Tosca had changed. However, the bar was excellent and I really enjoyed it. Next time I have an argument with my husband, I’ll come and stay with you again. Thank you very much, and I look forward to seeing you again.

    Smell of cigarette smoke

    I requested a non-smoking Room, but it smelled of cigarettes. They kindly moved me to the floor above, but at night cigarette smoke still came in from the hallway, so I covered the gap under the door with a towel to sleep. The staff were very kind, but it seemed there may be smoking Rooms on the same floor, and the smell spread throughout the hallway. It felt like even the non-smoking Rooms were almost no different from smoking Rooms. If they hadn’t changed my Room, I was close to moving to another Hotel.

    The service and the view exceeded my expectations.

    We stayed here for a family trip with our 2-year-old to visit the Anpanman Museum. Even though we mistakenly made a Reservation for a smoking Room, the staff quickly suggested an alternative Room. They also offered an upgrade to a Room with a better view for an additional fee, and we were very satisfied. The Room, furnishings, meals, and the staff’s politeness and kindness were all excellent. We would love to stay again. That said, when traveling with a child, I still can’t help wishing for a Room where you can take off your shoes—just my Japanese preference.

    It was comfortable—90 points!

    Since I stayed on a Friday, the rates were revised frequently, and using IKYU made me feel like I got a good deal. The inner dining area is certainly relaxing, but one slight downside may be that you end up eating the course meal at about twice the usual pace—though this depends on the person. Even though we had asked in advance, we were told on the day that our child’s inner dining order could not be accommodated; however, they ultimately handled it for us, which was a relief—if they hadn’t, it would have been very disappointing. The hair dryer was clogged and no air came out at all, but Room Service took care of it. It was a bit of a drawback that the indoor pool costs extra. It was also inconvenient that there is no phone to contact your Room from the pool. We chose the breakfast buffet, but since we were told it would be crowded, we went at 7:00. Overall, however, I think it was very comfortable.

    A very safe and reassuring pool

    We used the pool. It was clean and truly recommended. There were always several staff members watching over the area, so we felt safe. We will use it again.
