    It had been a while, but it was very good.

    When I looked at my photos, I realized it had been eight years since my last visit—since my son’s graduation ceremony. When he was little, we often came for Tosca’s carbonara, so I was disappointed to see how much Tosca had changed. However, the bar was excellent and I really enjoyed it. Next time I have an argument with my husband, I’ll come and stay with you again. Thank you very much, and I look forward to seeing you again.

    Smell of cigarette smoke

    I requested a non-smoking Room, but it smelled of cigarettes. They kindly moved me to the floor above, but at night cigarette smoke still came in from the hallway, so I covered the gap under the door with a towel to sleep. The staff were very kind, but it seemed there may be smoking Rooms on the same floor, and the smell spread throughout the hallway. It felt like even the non-smoking Rooms were almost no different from smoking Rooms. If they hadn’t changed my Room, I was close to moving to another Hotel.

    The service and the view exceeded my expectations.

    We stayed here for a family trip with our 2-year-old to visit the Anpanman Museum. Even though we mistakenly made a Reservation for a smoking Room, the staff quickly suggested an alternative Room. They also offered an upgrade to a Room with a better view for an additional fee, and we were very satisfied. The Room, furnishings, meals, and the staff’s politeness and kindness were all excellent. We would love to stay again. That said, when traveling with a child, I still can’t help wishing for a Room where you can take off your shoes—just my Japanese preference.

    It was comfortable—90 points!

    Since I stayed on a Friday, the rates were revised frequently, and using IKYU made me feel like I got a good deal. The inner dining area is certainly relaxing, but one slight downside may be that you end up eating the course meal at about twice the usual pace—though this depends on the person. Even though we had asked in advance, we were told on the day that our child’s inner dining order could not be accommodated; however, they ultimately handled it for us, which was a relief—if they hadn’t, it would have been very disappointing. The hair dryer was clogged and no air came out at all, but Room Service took care of it. It was a bit of a drawback that the indoor pool costs extra. It was also inconvenient that there is no phone to contact your Room from the pool. We chose the breakfast buffet, but since we were told it would be crowded, we went at 7:00. Overall, however, I think it was very comfortable.

    A very safe and reassuring pool

    We used the pool. It was clean and truly recommended. There were always several staff members watching over the area, so we felt safe. We will use it again.

    Yokohama’s No. 1 Hotel

    I’ve stayed at various hotels in Yokohama, but this Hotel is ultimately the best. The location, service, the calm atmosphere of the Room, and the view are all outstanding—so I always choose The Yokohama Bay Hotel Tokyu. The Facility may not be the newest, but that’s exactly why it feels luxuriously solid and well built. I especially look forward to the open feel of the balcony—something only possible in this location. It’s also easy to use even with children. The pool is now paid, but in return they offer services like complimentary ice cream, which really shows their hospitality.

    The night view is spectacular.

    We could see a large Ferris wheel right in front of us from the balcony, and our grandchildren were thrilled. We could also enjoy a beautiful night view from the bathtub. Everything at the breakfast buffet was delicious. There was such a wide variety that we couldn’t try it all without a Multiple Night Stay. It’s wonderful to have such a lovely Hotel nearby, and we would definitely like to stay again.

    The view is beautiful.

    I stayed here for a live concert at K-Arena. From the nearby Shin-Takashima Station, it’s just one stop away, which was very convenient. There are plenty of convenience stores, cafes, and restaurants around the Hotel. When I got lost inside the Hotel, a staff member quickly came over to help, and the front desk staff at check-in were also very friendly and welcoming. The Room had a Ferris wheel right in front of it—I didn’t want to fall asleep and stayed up until the lights went out! Since it was a Room with a balcony, having a beer while looking at the Ferris wheel and night view was amazing! I’ve stayed in Yokohama many times, but this was my first time at Tokyu Bay. It was the best Hotel I’ve ever stayed at!! I’ll definitely stay here again.

    Timeless

    We used the summer house before check-in. The last time we stayed here was 25 years ago, when it was just my wife and me. Being there again with my wife and our son felt deeply moving. The hospitality was as wonderful as ever. At our age, I won’t wish for another 25 years, but it has given us one more joy to look forward to. Thank you to everyone at the Hotel.

    I stayed in a triple Room with my elderly mother and aunt. We caused the staff trouble on several occasions, but everyone responded very politely and kindly. The Room was spacious and comfortable, and taking a bath while enjoying the Minato Mirai night view from the bathroom was wonderful. Being able to get to Haneda Airport by limousine bus from the Hotel was also truly helpful when traveling with elderly family members. Because we had a Multiple Night Stay, the lack of variety in the breakfast menu is my only minus point. Next time, I would like to stay here with my husband.

    The Best Hotel to Stay at for the Port Opening Festival

    After attending the Yokohama Port Opening Memorial Ceremony, my wife and I stayed here. The bell staff member on the first floor was very kind and, when guiding us to the lounge, told us about the fireworks and various details about the Port Festival. The service at the club lounge was also excellent. Each time we visited, it seemed that the food and drinks in the lounge had been upgraded, and everything was delicious. We were truly moved to be able to watch the fireworks from our Room’s balcony. We also used the pool. Luckily it wasn’t crowded, it felt very clean, and we enjoyed it a lot. We would like to visit again for the August fireworks festival as well. Thank you in advance.

    I thoroughly enjoyed the views of Yokohama.

    They kindly allowed us to check in a little early on the Yokohama floor, which was very helpful. The Room had a beautiful night view of the Ferris wheel and Hikawa Maru. With a balcony as well, we relaxed while enjoying the sea breeze—having the beer provided in the Room, and coffee in the morning. The bathroom was also great, with separate shower and bathtub areas; we filled the tub generously, added bath salts, and warmed up nicely. The only downside was that amenities such as shampoo were provided in fixed dispenser bottles rather than individual items. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the linens were high quality. Breakfast offered a wide variety; Maison Kayser croissants and orange juice were especially delicious. Personally, I missed having items like smoked salmon or shrimp, and there weren’t many fruit options, but there was plenty of both Japanese and Western food to enjoy.

    It was a relaxing stay!

    This is the place for Yokohama views! The scenery is amazing both from the balcony and from the Room. For breakfast, we went to Somerhouse on the second day, and it was quieter, so we could enjoy our meal in a more relaxed atmosphere. It had been a while since our last stay, so it was disappointing that we could no longer hear the TV sound in the bathroom (though I understand that’s just how things are these days). With a Multiple Night Stay, we were able to take it easy and enjoy an escape from everyday life, and it reminded me again: “No matter how many times I come back, this is still a Hotel I love.”

    We had a wonderful staycation!

    We stayed on the top floor with lounge access, just the two of us, as a little celebration after our wedding. A dedicated floor butler handled our check-in at the lounge, and it was very comfortable to complete everything while enjoying delicious tea and sweets. The lounge also had a great view, and they kindly let us step out onto the balcony, so we could enjoy the clear weather scenery directly—it felt wonderful. Both tea time and cocktail time at the lounge were very well stocked, and all the food and drinks were excellent. It was a weekday so it wasn’t too crowded, and we were happy to relax together at our own pace. The Room was spacious and comfortable as well. I’m glad we could use a ReFa shower head! When you stay in a Room with lounge access, you can use the pool for free, so we brought swimsuits and enjoyed it. (On a weekday evening it was almost private—we had an amazing time.) They also offer free float rentals with plenty available, so I felt the services were very generous. (There was also complimentary ice cream service, but both my husband and I were too full to try it.) For breakfast we chose Cafe Tosca’s Japanese/Western buffet; the omelet made right in front of us by the chef was especially delicious, and everything else was great too—we were very satisfied! With beautiful Minato Mirai views and such a comfortable Hotel stay, I’d love to come back again when we want a relaxing getaway.

    It was the best Hotel stay.

    The service was outstanding, and the value for money was excellent. The Club Lounge and in-Room services were also superb. The sauna setup was exceptional. I sometimes use Exiv or Amex FHR, but this was the first time I’ve received such top-tier service at such a reasonable price. I would definitely like to stay again.

    A Peaceful Retreat

    It’s been a while since my last stay. When I mentioned our wedding anniversary, they delivered a bouquet of flowers to our Room as a gift. They also upgraded our Room and placed us on a high floor. Every time I come, I feel at ease—like being back home. Since I was born in Yokohama, I’m also happy to be able to look out at the sea. Living in Tokyo surrounded by buildings, Yokohama truly feels wonderful—it's a city, yet the ocean is so close and easy to see. It’s deeply relaxing. Taking care of my grandchild has gradually become easier, so I’d like to visit more often from now on.

    It was a very good Hotel.

    I stayed here for an event at Pacifico Yokohama. The Room was spacious, and the bathroom and toilet were very clean, so I was very satisfied. I would like to stay here again if I have the opportunity.

    The view was wonderful.

    We were able to stay on the club floor with a same-day upgrade (club lounge not available). The view bath had the Cosmo Clock right in front of us, and the night view was wonderful. For meals, we had buffet breakfast and dinner at Tosca. The food was tasty, but I would have liked a bit more variety for both breakfast and dinner—it felt limited for a buffet. The plumbing was a little disappointing. The water pressure seemed low: the sink water didn’t come out right away, and the shower also felt somewhat weak. The shower room is designed so that drainage flows toward the area in front of the bath. Without realizing this, I placed the bath mat in front of the bath before using the shower, and it became soaked and unusable. Other than that, the Room was spacious and relaxing. The water from the dispenser was very good. However, since the refill bottle doesn’t fit in the refrigerator, having to go fill up cold water each time is something I’d like you to consider.

    Some areas show their age, but the cleaning was thorough and I felt comfortable staying here. Amenities have shifted toward eco-friendly options, and all skincare items were in shared bottles, which I felt a bit uneasy about, so I used the ones I brought. I chose the breakfast plan on purpose and enjoyed the Maison Kayser bread. One disappointing point: staff frequently asked to clear plates at the buffet, which disrupted a relaxed breakfast atmosphere. While I was away getting more food for my final round, my partially used butter and all cutlery were cleared without notice. I was very surprised and had to go get new cutlery again. I fully understand the need to tidy up, but at a nicer Hotel breakfast I would like to enjoy it at a leisurely pace. It also felt inefficient from an eco perspective, as I had to open a new butter portion.

    I enjoyed a concert at Kannai Hall.

    I’ve stayed at this Hotel several times. The view from the large windows is breathtaking—wonderful! You never get tired of the bay view, and by chance I even watched a Mitsui Ocean cruise ship depart from the window. We had dinner via in-room dining and were very satisfied. Breakfast was, of course, good too, but one small disappointment: unlike the bread at dinner, it was rather firm.

    We had a great time.

    The lounge had a great view, and the staff were kind, so I felt very comfortable. The pool was also clean, and I had a wonderful time. Thank you very much. After returning home, I realized I had left something behind and contacted the Hotel. It was arranged that I would come back on another day to pick it up. I fully understand that this caused inconvenience to the Hotel staff, and I am truly sorry. However, when I arrived by car and explained the situation to the attendant in the Hotel parking area, they said they would check. While looking at their computer, they told me things like there was only a record of my stay and there was no note about any lost item, which made me feel as though they were suspicious of me—this was disappointing. After being asked various questions and having them contact several places, I was ultimately able to receive my item at the front desk. However, the attendant repeatedly said things like “Normally there should be an entry in the system (about lost items), but there wasn’t.” I understand this person was not at fault, but it made me feel that communication among staff was not well coordinated. Even though I had contacted you in advance, I could not pick it up smoothly, which left me disappointed.

    The night view is spectacular.

    I really love this place. The Ferris wheel illumination is beautiful, and when staying in Minato Mirai, this is my go-to. I have a request: This time, I couldn’t get the bathtub shower diverter to work properly. Also, the light by the sofa was out. Could you please check and take care of these maintenance items? Other than that, everything was comfortable. Thank you very much.

    This was my first st...

    This was my first stay, and I was pleasantly surprised that we could step out onto the balcony even on a high floor—definitely a big plus. The season was perfect, so having a beer on the balcony was amazing. (One thing I noticed: because the gaps in the balcony railing are wide, I worried that a phone or drink might fall through.) I’d also like to thank the staff in the Hotel lobby. Thank you for the clear directions and for helping with our restaurant Reservation. Thank you as well for the birthday gift for my partner. When I visit Yokohama again, I will definitely stay here again. It was a truly memorable trip.

    My Favorite Hotel

    This is my mother’s favorite Hotel, and we always choose it when sightseeing around Yokohama together. The Room is always spotless and spacious, the view from the balcony is wonderful, and the staff’s hospitality is excellent—every stay leaves us completely satisfied. One of our highlights is also being able to enjoy Maison Kayser bread at breakfast. This time we made a Reservation for a great-value Room during a sale, but they kindly upgraded us on the day, so we were able to enjoy a beautiful night view from the Room. Thank you very much. We would love to stay again soon!

    Breakfast time

    Despite the large number of staff, I was disappointed by the lack of adequate service and consideration. As we were traveling with a small child, I had hoped for more understanding. Unfortunately, it was disappointing. Also, before we even started our meal, having the bill placed down in a way that felt like we were being asked to pay immediately did not feel pleasant (although my family did not notice). Otherwise, we were satisfied. Thank you very much.

    Girls’ night for five

    We used this for a girls’ get-together with five people. They kindly arranged it so we could move between the Rooms by connecting the middle area. The Ferris wheel was sparkling, everyone loved it, and we had a wonderful time.

    I had to stay in Yokohama on short notice and was able to book a great-value Plan on IKYU the day before. On the day, I was shown to the Room as booked, but I wondered why there were only two beds for a Reservation for three people. When I asked the staff member who helped carry my luggage, I was told that an extra bed would cost an additional fee. Since I had already paid in advance for three adults, it would have been difficult with just two single beds, so I asked the front desk if they could provide additional amenities such as towels. They kindly accommodated my request and responded quickly by upgrading us to a Room with three beds—more than what the Plan included. I stayed here when the Hotel first opened and it was truly wonderful, so I was delighted to be able to stay again this time. I was impressed that their service and hospitality were just as excellent as before. If I have another opportunity, I would definitely like to stay again. Thank you very much for your help.

    A delightful birthday-month gift

    As a returning guest, I was truly touched to receive gerberas for my birthday month. Also, upon arrival, in addition to the welcome drink, I was even offered a smoothie, which I really appreciated as I was thirsty! The staff service is excellent, the lounge breakfast and cocktail-time food are delicious, and the Room is spacious with access to the balcony—simply perfect.

    As expected, Tokyu.

    I arrived at the Hotel front entrance around 12:30 a.m., but the entrance lights were off and I couldn’t tell where to go in. With guidance from the driver, I finally found the entrance; the lights then came on, but prioritizing energy saving at the expense of guest safety feels like a typical bureaucratic mindset of a Tokyu Group company. Despite its Yokohama location, the pricing is not exactly cheap, yet there are too few elevators without considering how many guests are checking out—perhaps fitting for the average level of its guests. I stayed twice in one week for the first time in about 11 years, but it seems nothing has improved since then. The odd toothbrush amenities also feel characteristically Tokyu-like.
