Summer Vacation
I stayed for two nights with my daughter and grandchild who live nearby. I have used this Hotel several times, and I appreciate that early check-in is sometimes possible. Since there is usually a line, I went to the front desk about 30 minutes early, but was told check-in starts at 3:00 PM. While waiting on the nearby sofa, others were waiting as well. Then around 3:05—or maybe even before 3:00—guests who arrived later were checked in one after another. If that’s the case, they should hand out numbered tickets and process guests in order. People behind me were complaining too. Also, there was someone in black just standing at the front desk; at least during check-in time, please help with the work. I had read in Reviews that the breakfast buffet gets crowded, so we ordered room service for breakfast instead. That was delicious. The Japanese restaurant on the first floor served a course costing over 20,000 yen per person, and it was the worst meal I’ve ever had. I will never go again. The Chen Kenichi Chinese restaurant was excellent.

We stayed here with our family for the first time in quite a while. The guest rooms and restaurant have been renovated. The breakfast, in particular, offered a wide variety of options and felt very high quality. We were also satisfied with the room and amenities. We were able to relax and would like to stay again.

It was fun.
The view from the balcony was amazing. I usually sleep with the curtains closed wherever I stay, but this time, during my Multiple Night Stay of 3 nights, I fell asleep while enjoying the night view. I was very satisfied with both the Japanese breakfast and the buffet. It was also close to the fireworks venue, so I didn’t get too tired getting there. Thank you very much.

I have stayed at Bay Floor many times.\nBoth my wife and I love this Hotel, but this time the service felt off from check-in for the first time, and I assumed it couldn’t be helped because the staff member was a foreigner.\nAt checkout the next day, even though I had used the parking lot, I was told there was no payment due. I informed them that I hadn’t paid the parking fee and asked them to confirm. After paying, I received a Receipt and went home.\nLater, the Hotel contacted me and said the parking fee was unpaid.\nEven though I reported it myself and paid, being told it was unpaid left me feeling very unpleasant.\nI would like you to manage this more strictly.

No matter when you visit, the night view is spectacular.
Whenever I stay at the Yokohama Bay Hotel Tokyu, I always choose a Room with a balcony. This time as well, I enjoyed the sparkling Minato Mirai cityscape spread out below from the balcony. The amenities such as shampoo and conditioner had been changed to bottle dispensers, which felt like a sign of the times, but I was happy to use plenty without hesitation. Since it was during summer vacation, there were children everywhere. Everyone looked like they were having fun, and it made me feel happy too. Thank you very much.

I stayed with my child. When we needed help taking the bus to Hakkeijima Sea Paradise, the staff kindly and carefully explained everything, and they also carried our luggage to the Room, which was very helpful when traveling with a small child. The Room was originally a twin, but they kindly arranged a change to a double at my child’s request, and my child was delighted. It became a wonderful summer vacation memory for both of us. Thank you very much.

I’d like to stay here again.
I stayed here to refresh and unwind. My Room was on the 23rd floor on the city-view side, but when I opened the curtains, the right side faced the Hotel windows and the left side faced a road, so the view was disappointing. The Room location wasn’t great. The Room had a spacious king-size bed. There were plenty of drinks, a large TV, and no issues with the air conditioning. The bathroom was comfortable, with a Rifa shower head and a separate shower booth. Amenities were well stocked with nothing missing. There is also an indoor pool; however, it was disappointing that the jacuzzi wasn’t bubbling. I spent about an hour and a half at the pool and could read on the deck as well. I used the lounge upon arrival and at night—appetizers were delicious, and I was satisfied with the bar counter setup. Breakfast was a Japanese/Western buffet; I really enjoyed items like mini burgers, freshly made pancakes from an automatic pancake machine, and curry rice. At checkout, I expected to be able to drop my key card into a box on the 3rd floor and leave, but I couldn’t find it. I asked several staff members for help, but after handing over my card I had to wait. Many of them seemed young and may have been in training. I think checking out on the 25th floor would be better. That said, I would definitely like to stay again next time.

We had a relaxing and enjoyable stay.
The room was spacious and relaxing. The bathroom had a separate shower and bathtub, so I could fully enjoy a proper soak. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options, and everything was delicious. The night view from the window was also wonderful. I would love to stay again when I have the chance. Thank you very much.

My 86-year-old father’s birthday
We stayed on the Park View Club Floor for the first time to celebrate my father’s 86th birthday. Since his birthday falls during Obon, the weather tends to get harder to handle each year, but here we could check in from Minatomirai Station without even stepping outside into the sun. The location is lively, and we had a wonderful evening in our Room while enjoying the view of the Ferris wheel. The weather also happened to be comfortable, so even with my father’s pace we were able to take an evening walk as far as Red Brick Warehouse. Stepping out onto the terrace and hearing the cheerful sounds from the park was also relaxing and enjoyable. My father also said he preferred this place over a Hotel we had used for several years. I was able to unwind in the large bathtub, and the big mirror in the Room was very convenient. The amenities are in bottles, so next time I can come without bringing anything (when amenities are provided only as single-use sets, there isn’t enough for the next morning). Our Room was on the same floor and close to the club lounge, which made everything incredibly convenient. Because it was his birthday, you kindly gave my father a card and fresh flowers. However, we couldn’t pack fresh flowers into our carry-on bag for travel the next day, so sadly we had to leave them in the Room. We truly appreciated your thoughtfulness. For breakfast we could choose between the club lounge and a buffet restaurant. We decided on a restaurant (my sister recommended it), but Tosca was fully booked so we went to Somerhouse instead. In hindsight, I think breakfast at the club lounge—relaxing while enjoying the view—would have suited us better. We were also happy that drinks were prepared in our Room refrigerator. We could take chilled water with us whenever we went out, and after lounge hours my father seemed especially pleased to enjoy a cold beer after his bath. The bay view of Yokohama is wonderful too, but at night that Ferris wheel view is truly exceptional. We would love to stay again on another occasion. Thank you very much for taking care of us.

The comfort of staying at a Ryokan
We had breakfast at Oshiman. The freshly cooked rice, prepared individually in a small pot after we were seated, was excellent. However, since there are fewer seats than a buffet restaurant, you may have to wait in line for quite a while once it becomes full. If you plan to go, I recommend arriving early. Among the Hotels in the Minato Mirai area, I think this is the best option for Japanese cuisine.

Your First Stay
This was my first time staying here. Since I booked a Plan with lounge access, I was able to relax and enjoy a comfortable time in both the Room and the lounge. The location and views are outstanding. I would have liked a few more snacks to go with the drinks in the lounge, but the scenery more than made up for it, and I was very satisfied.

I used the lounge, but although it was open until 9:00 p.m., when I went before 8:30 p.m. they were already rushing to prepare for the next morning’s breakfast. There was constant clattering of dishes, and they were moving tables and equipment around, so I couldn’t relax at all. If they need to have everything ready by that time, it would be better to shorten the lounge hours. It’s a shame, because the lounge has a great view.

It was a luxurious stay.
I usually stay here in December, but this time I stayed for the first time during the Obon holidays in August. As expected, there were many guests, and we waited about 40 minutes due to crowds at check-in and breakfast. However, all the staff worked efficiently, with frequent announcements apologizing for the wait, and guidance to check-in was smooth. There were also two breakfast venues available. It was crowded, but I felt their handling of it was excellent. The Room was our usual bay-view Room with a view bath; it was spacious and comfortable. Despite the forecast of bad weather, we were impressed by the wonderful scenery. We were able to enjoy a relaxing bath while looking out over the Minato Mirai view and spend a truly luxurious time. Even though it was late, it was delivered to the Room, and my friend was delighted by the surprise celebration. Two Summers in a Row
This was our one-night summer vacation stay in Yokohama Minato Mirai for the second year in a row. This year we chose the Bay View side (last year was Park View), and both offered beautiful scenery and stunning night views—we were very satisfied. From the Bay View side, watching Asuka II and Peace Boat docked at Osanbashi made us dream even more about the open sea. We had breakfast at the Hotel buffet, which was also excellent. Every dish was delicious, with such a great selection of both Japanese and Western options that you’ll want to try everything. With walks to Red Brick Warehouse and Chinatown, one night still wasn’t enough—so we’re already looking forward to another summer vacation in Minato Mirai next year!

Conveniently located near Minatomirai Station!
I stayed on Mountain Day. It was extremely crowded, but the staff were very helpful, so I didn’t feel uncomfortable. The breakfast buffet—especially the croissants and orange juice—was delicious. If I had to ask for more, I wish there had been a bit more variety.

They handle last-minute requests smoothly. This time, we also used the night pool.
I’m a repeat guest who uses the Bay Club. Each time, I relax and unwind at the Hotel. The small welcome gift at check-in is a lovely touch. This time, with concerns about the typhoon, I was in a rush and forgot my iPhone charger, so I asked the concierge. I was happy to hear, “We’ll bring it to your Room” right away. Every service period was also relaxed and delicious. As I was traveling with my mother who has difficulty walking, we couldn’t go to the breakfast buffet at Tosca. However, dining on the usual club floor offered an even wider variety of bread than before, and the roast beef was very tender and tasty. Perhaps because guests were split between the 2nd-floor buffet and the club floor, it wasn’t crowded as usual and it was quiet as well. The night pool is for adults only, so even middle-aged guests like me, seniors, or solo travelers can enjoy a wonderful time while taking in the night view. I highly recommend using it. *In this Room, however, I noticed rust around the bathtub drain area. It felt like bathing in a rusty tub, so I’m giving 4 stars.*

The Best One-Night Stay
As always, the Room, breakfast, and service were all excellent. I prefer a park view, but this time we chose a city view due to our budget. However, the night view was beautiful and it wasn’t bad at all. Since we stayed on the Bay Club floor, we also enjoyed the lounge. That said, there were no Chinese-style items (such as shumai) at breakfast. It may have just been that day, but that was the only disappointment. At check-in, my wife forgot to present her TCM points card, but they seemed to infer it from my name or address at check-in or our past stay history and extended our checkout time from the start—very thoughtful. It also seems you can no longer earn double points by combining Rakuten Points or TCM points with other point programs. That’s understandable and I’m fine with it.

Wonderful no matter when you visit.
This time, as the Sky Duck collaboration with Conan is coming to an end, I fully enjoyed the night views, Noge, and Chinatown for that purpose. Ever since I stayed here four years ago on my way back from an Eikichi Yazawa concert, I’ve been completely hooked on Yokohama’s charm. Mr. Chen’s restaurant on the 3rd floor was also extremely delicious—I’ll work hard and come again.

A Short Getaway
It was my first stay at this Hotel in a while. As always, it was clean and very comfortable. The only issue was that the refrigerator did not cool well, so the drinks I brought never got properly cold, which was very disappointing.

For the first time in a year
We stayed with you last year as well, and we made a Reservation again this year hoping there would be fun events for the Hotel’s 29th anniversary. At tea time, I meant to order the drip coffee but missed it and was told it had already ended, which was a bit disappointing. Still, the aroma of the coffee was very soothing. We were very happy that you arranged our two Rooms close to each other. Thank you for your thoughtful consideration. The roast beef at cocktail time was exceptional. I also appreciated the staff member who kindly let us know that window seats had become available and invited us to move. Thank you very much. We would love to stay again if we have another opportunity.

As always, I was able to relax at a very leisurely pace. The Minato Mirai view from the Room and the lounge is truly the best. This time, I kept it light at the lounge and also used the restaurant. Relaxing.
I have stayed here several times a year for the past 20 years. In recent years, many new hotels have opened in Minato Mirai and I tried other places, but after staying again for the first time in a while, I was reminded that this is still the best. However, during check-in, the registration panel terminals set up at the Hotel front counter made me uneasy from a privacy standpoint, as people waiting behind could see my address and phone number displayed on the screen.

Since the Pan Pacific era
Although it opened in 1997, I mistakenly thought it had been operating since a bit earlier. You can certainly feel its age, but it’s well maintained and comfortable, and the staff were calm and reassuring. I’ve stayed here occasionally since around 2000, so this stay also felt nostalgic. I hope it will continue to be part of Yokohama’s scenery for many years to come.
