    A place to experience the essence of Minato Mirai

    I arranged for my mother to stay here so she could fully enjoy the Minato Mirai area. The hotel is directly connected to the station, and there are plenty of restaurants, convenience stores, and shops nearby, making it incredibly convenient. The view bath room was fantastic. The room was spacious and clean as expected, and the bathroom was also large. At night, we enjoyed the sparkling view of Cosmo World’s Ferris wheel from the bath, while in the morning we admired Yokohama Port and Bay Bridge as we relaxed in the tub. (The glass fogged up at night due to temperature differences, so it was hard to see outside then, but it cleared up by morning.) Having a balcony where you can feel Yokohama's breeze is absolutely wonderful. If you're staying at this hotel, I highly recommend choosing a room with a balcony! My mother loved it so much that she kept saying she wanted to stay here again. Thank you for providing us with such a lovely experience!

    Well-equipped amenities

    I stayed here to explore Yokohama and Chinatown. The convenience of reaching the Hotel without stepping outside from the station on a cold day, the excellent service at the front desk, and the clean guest room with well-equipped amenities allowed me to enjoy a highly satisfying and extraordinary experience.

    We visit every year during the same period. Throughout the year, we stay at other accommodations as well, but we always end our journey here, enjoying the sea view from the balcony, the night scenery, and Tosca's breakfast.     If staying in Minato Mirai, choose Yokohama Bay Hotel Tokyu.

    On the day, I considered staying at a hotel near Yokohama Station after attending a year-end party but decided to go to Minato Mirai and stayed at Yokohama Bay Hotel Tokyu. I chose this hotel because it is a place I have used many times and feel comfortable with. The room was relaxing, clean, and luxurious, providing a comfortable sleep on the bed.     It was a wonderful Hotel.

    This was my first time staying here. The room was very spacious, and although the hotel seemed a bit old, it was clean and comfortable. The bed had just the right firmness (I believe it used an Airweave mattress), which suited my preference. The bathroom was large, and having a separate shower room from the bathtub made it very convenient to use. The toilet was well-maintained and comfortable as well. The only minor issue I noticed was that the remote control's placement felt slightly too far back. The room's facilities were excellent, including a kettle, an Illy coffee maker, TWG herbal tea and tea bags, roasted coffee drip packs, and green tea bags—offering great variety. I reserved a Bay Club Floor room where drinks and food provided in the lounge seemed carefully selected; everything I tried tasted delicious. The chairs were so comfortable that I found myself lingering longer than expected. For breakfast during my multiple night stay of 10 nights, I could use Café Tosca on the lobby floor every other day. However, when craving Western-style breakfast options, I preferred using the Club Lounge for its calm atmosphere compared to Café Tosca’s lively environment with many guests—it sometimes felt less relaxing depending on seating arrangements. Staying in a Bay Floor room also came with perks like elevator key card access automatically selecting your floor—a small but pleasant convenience not available to guests staying on other floors. Throughout my extended stay of 10 nights this time around, all staff members consistently provided exceptional service with kindness and professionalism at every interaction—truly reflecting high-quality service standards during my visit. Housekeeping staff worked efficiently while maintaining cleanliness perfectly; their efforts ensured comfort throughout my stay for which I'm grateful. Thank you for taking such good care of me during this visit! This is definitely one of the hotels I'd love to return to again someday. Next time around I'll make sure not to miss trying out your pool!

    Yokohama at its best!

    We stayed for one night on a short trip with my daughter and her husband. Our 8-month-old baby was with us as well. Although the baby cried at night, I couldn't hear any noise from the next Room, confirming once again that the soundproofing is excellent. The preparation of a baby crib and attentive care allowed us to rest comfortably. I have stayed at this Hotel many times, but this visit with my grandchild became the most memorable experience. Thank you very much! This is a Hotel where guests with babies can stay without worrying about crying noises. The price is reasonable, offering great value for money beyond expectations. Highly recommended Hotel!

    The lounge breakfast offers a limited variety.

    This time, I had breakfast at the lounge on the Club Floor for the first time. Compared to other Hotel club lounge breakfasts, honestly, the variety was limited and less satisfying. Previously, breakfast at Café Tosca was included and very satisfying, so this was a bit disappointing. Next time, I plan to choose Café Tosca even if it requires an additional fee. Moreover, during breakfast when I was the only guest present, my finished plates were not cleared from the table. I had to stack them myself to create space. When I looked around for staff members, they seemed engaged in conversation with each other and did not notice me. It wasn’t until I stacked about three plates in two spots that they finally noticed and cleared them. On a positive note, other staff members such as those at valet parking and those assisting during check-in at the lounge provided excellent service. However, due to this experience with the breakfast staff, my overall impression of their service is slightly negative. The Room was clean with a view of the Ferris wheel from my window—something I really enjoyed about this Hotel—but this particular experience left me slightly disappointed. Overall though, it was still a comfortable stay!

    I love this Hotel be...

    I love this Hotel because I can step out onto the balcony and enjoy the view. This time, I chose a Room where I could also enjoy the scenery from the bath, and it was a delightful experience again. I stayed with my elderly mother this time, but she found it difficult to distinguish between shampoo, conditioner, and other bottles as they all looked the same. No matter how hard we tried, water leaked from gaps in the shower booth, soaking the bath mat completely. Although we received a new one promptly, improving this aspect would make things even better. Additionally, I would appreciate it if there were more variety in single-item options on the room service menu. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and look forward to coming back again!

    A Hotel of Comfort and Relaxation

    I stay here every year when attending concerts at Minato Mirai Hall. The consistent quality provides peace of mind and trust. I always look forward to the breakfast, but this time I was particularly impressed by the coffee quality and the pancake machine. I will continue to rely on your services in the future.

    No complaints about the Room.

    As the title suggests, the Room's comfort and view were very satisfying. If I had to point out something, it would be the lack of a large public bath and that the breakfast was quite ordinary—perhaps a bit underwhelming for 4,500 yen. However, the made-to-order omelet was exceptionally delicious, possibly the best I've ever had. Overall, it was a very satisfying Hotel stay.

    Excellent location

    Conveniently located near Minatomirai Station. Enjoyed the view of Yokohama's nightscape from the room. The breakfast was also very delicious. Would love to stay again.

    Check-in was disappointing.

    The check-in line is similar at any hotel, but the processing time felt as long as at a resort hotel. Although address and name information are often provided during the reservation, there was no pre-printed card to simply sign. Writing information onto the room card also seemed slow, possibly due to machine performance... disappointing. It was unfortunate because I appreciated the staff's smile and attentive service upgrade.

    Comfortable Room

    The room was a twin for single use. It was spacious and comfortable to relax in. Breakfast was served via room service on both days. On the first day, I ordered Western-style breakfast at 10:00, and they mentioned a "15-minute flexibility before or after." This seems standard across hotels. It arrived around 9:50 and was delicious. On the second day, I opted for Japanese-style breakfast and requested it at 8:00 over the phone the previous day. They responded with "between 8:00 and 8:30," to which I clarified, "Isn't it supposed to be within a 15-minute range?" This kind of time setting was new to me. Despite this minor issue, there were thoughtful services like morning newspapers that have disappeared in many places since the pandemic began, making my stay very pleasant overall. The Minato Mirai Hall next door—my main destination—was also very convenient. Thank you for your hospitality!

    A Lovely Hotel in the Port City of Yokohama

    This was my first stay as it is the closest Hotel to Minatomirai Concert Hall, and it was truly wonderful. The view was fantastic, the Room was very relaxing, and above all, the food at every dining location was absolutely delicious. The staff were also lovely and very kind. I would love to stay here again when visiting Yokohama. Thank you very much!

    I have mentioned this multiple times...

    I stay for Multiple Night Stays several times a year. This time was a 4-night stay. As I’ve mentioned before, the breakfast gets monotonous with the same dishes every day, which makes it less enjoyable. The miso soup station is cramped, causing congestion—why not make changes? Adding a small table to place trays would make a big difference as it always causes bottlenecks there. The 7:00 AM breakfast start time should also be reconsidered; I’ve mentioned this before too. At 7:00 AM, guests rush in all at once and end up waiting in line, sometimes even being redirected to the lounge next door after waiting for so long. Since it's predictable that it will get crowded from the previous day, measures should be taken to address this issue. Guests in a hurry during the morning must feel frustrated as it gets extremely crowded between 7:00 and 7:45 AM with food running out and restocking unable to keep up—all while serving the same dishes daily. Checking in after 3 PM also involves waiting due to crowds. Room cleaning doesn’t happen promptly unless you notify them; the "make-up room" button seems entirely ineffective. The windows seem thinner than expected because passing cars making loud noises at night can be disturbing. The showerhead was clogged with limescale, causing poor water flow and spraying water in different directions—I fixed it myself using an interdental brush. I plan on staying again next year for another Multiple Night Stay but hope some improvements will be made by then!

    It's been a while, but

    I used to stay here often under the previous hotel name, and I stayed again after a long time. The Ferris wheel was beautifully visible from the balcony and bathroom, and I enjoyed watching its changing colors. I could watch it for hours. It was a perfect place to unwind from daily fatigue. Perhaps because I'm small, the bathtub felt spacious, and with a simple pillow provided, I relaxed while gazing at the Ferris wheel. The amenities were well-prepared, and the staff's service was impeccable. Especially during checkout—since I had prepaid through IKYU.com—the staff kindly assisted me so that I could check out smoothly without waiting in line. It was very helpful. Breakfast at Café Tosca's buffet is always great! I ate so much in the morning that I couldn't have lunch later. We took our time enjoying breakfast for about an hour and a half. The only downside is that you can't access the parking lot directly from the Hotel. Since it's shared parking, you need to use an external elevator outside of the Hotel to get there. If you're visiting by car for the first time, it's worth checking this beforehand—that's my only concern. I would definitely love to stay here again! Thank you very much!

    This is my third stay. The Room was spacious, clean, and allowed me to enjoy a comfortable time. Thank you for always accommodating the installation of the Blu-ray player and for fulfilling my request this time to change from a smoking room to a non-smoking room. I truly appreciate it. My friend even said, "Let's stay here again next year," so I believe we will be relying on you again for our annual Yokohama refresh overnight gathering.

    Club Lounge Stay for Your Special Anniversary

    8 years ago, I stayed at your Hotel on the same day. It has been a while since my last stay, and I was delighted to see that the Club Lounge had been significantly upgraded! The variety of sweets during tea time was impressive, they were delicious, and the tea from a Motomachi shop was exceptionally good. During cocktail time, while there weren’t any main dishes as before, there were several elaborate hors d'oeuvres and a wide selection of alcoholic beverages which made me very happy. Although I had made a reservation at an outside restaurant for that evening, I almost ended up overeating here. Unfortunately, due to my schedule this time, I couldn’t use the pool; however, breakfast was once again amazing and left me very satisfied. 8 years ago, I could choose Tosca for breakfast; this time it was my first lounge breakfast experience. The variety of options and taste were excellent as well as the smooth service and replenishment by staff members—it turned out to be a wonderful breakfast experience. I would love to come back for another stay! Even compared to my second night at Hyatt Regency Yokohama in terms of cost performance and overall experience—your Hotel stood out overwhelmingly. Thank you for making it such an extraordinary anniversary!

    I had a comfortable stay.

    Thanks to the flexible response of the front desk staff, I was able to smoothly complete my plans on the day of my stay. Not only the front desk but also staff from other departments provided excellent service, making my stay very pleasant. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the location is great, so I plan to use this accommodation again when visiting Yokohama.

    Wonderful Hotel!

    When traveling to Minato Mirai, I always choose to stay at Yokohama Bay Hotel Tokyu because it is such an exceptional accommodation. The view from the room, the cleanliness and ambiance of the room, and the thoughtful care of the staff—everything is top-notch for me! This time, I was kindly upgraded to a Bay Club Floor room, and the view from the 23rd floor was truly spectacular. The ReFa showerhead, hairdryer, and amenities were also of excellent quality. I am deeply grateful for such a wonderful experience. I will definitely stay here again! Thank you very much!

    The Room and staff service were excellent, and the dining experience within the Hotel was also enjoyable. However, when I went to the front desk to use the pool, it was crowded with check-in guests, and I was told to come back in an hour. This disrupted my schedule for the day and caused some inconvenience. It might be better to have a separate reception directly on the pool floor.

    I had a relaxing stay!

    I stayed at the accommodation to celebrate my friend's birthday. Since we wanted to relax, we opted for room service for both dinner and breakfast. We thoroughly enjoyed both meals. After dinner, a fruit plate with a cake was delivered as per our request, even though it was a special arrangement made in advance. Thank you so much for accommodating our request so kindly. The water dispenser available within the hotel was very convenient and appreciated. However, I faced an issue when I couldn't make it on time as planned and tried to contact the accommodation but found out that inquiries regarding stays were only accepted until 6 PM. I couldn’t find a phone number connecting directly to the front desk on the website or elsewhere, which caused some inconvenience. Due to this experience, I rated customer service as "4." One more small wish: it would have been great if there had been a coffee maker available in the room. Thank you very much!

    Conveniently located near Minatomirai Station (almost directly connected), making it an excellent base for sightseeing in Yokohama. The night view from the window was so beautiful that we decided not to visit the Landmark Tower. We had a very pleasant stay.

    Birthday Celebration Use

    I stayed in the Grand Corner Suite on the Regular Floor. The Room was spacious with a fantastic view, which alone made me want to stay again. Having a balcony is definitely a great feature. The meal was part of the Anniversary Plan, so it was an in-room course meal, but I felt that the breakfast buffet surpassed it in both quality and quantity. One disappointment was that even though it's on the Regular Floor, since it’s still called a suite, I think the minibar contents should be complimentary.

    Enjoy the Club Floor for a Perfect Hotel Stay

    We stayed on the top floor with club lounge access to celebrate a family birthday. We fully enjoyed the lounge during tea time, cocktail time, and breakfast the next morning. It was a special experience with beautiful interiors and views of Yokohama's iconic scenery. The food and cocktails were elegant and absolutely delicious. The room and bathroom were spacious and perfect in every way. We also enjoyed watching YouTube on the large TV. The pool was amazing, allowing us to swim while enjoying views of Cosmo Clock and the amusement park—it was truly impressive. The staff's hospitality skills were outstanding, and we definitely look forward to staying here again soon. Thank you for the music box birthday gift as well!

    Overall,

    The stay was satisfactory, but the breakfast on the first day could have been better. The bread was hard and dry, which was very disappointing. Additionally, the glasses for milk and fruit juice were as small as shot glasses, which was also a letdown. It might have been better to stay without breakfast included.
