    It was a bit disappointing.

    I have stayed here many times since it first opened. This time, I stayed for three nights.   Perhaps because it was a busy period, I was very disappointed with the check-in experience. Even though I was staying on the Bay Club Floor, I was told to line up at the front desk. After asking them to confirm again, I went to the lounge, but service there was also slow and I had to wait quite a long time.   Also, since my companion would arrive later, I asked the lounge staff in advance so that we could receive an extra key without having to line up at the front desk; however, we still ended up waiting in the front-desk line. It was hot as well, and it left us exhausted.   In recent years, new hotels have entered this area and I have stayed at them several times too, but I have never experienced such poor handling elsewhere.   The lounge tea time and cocktail time were crowded, and there were many disappointing points such as tables not being cleared promptly.   Compared with various hotels, it did not seem like there were too few staff members here, which made it all the more puzzling.   For breakfast, we used three venues—Oshima (Taishiman), the lounge, and Cafe Tosca—and all of them were delicious.   Because I have stayed here so many times, this left me truly disappointed.   I would like to continue staying here in the future as well, so I would appreciate it if you could look into these issues.

    I stayed on the Club Floor, and everything—from the hospitality and service to the food and location—exceeded my expectations for the price. I’d love to stay again.

    Executive Park View Two-Room Suite

    We stayed as a family of four to celebrate our son’s birthday. The Room and the view were wonderful, just as we had researched in advance. They upgraded our Room to the club floor, and we even received a music box as a birthday gift for our son. He was truly delighted, and it became one of the most memorable Hotels for our family. Thank you very much.

    About in-room facilities (damaged tiles and refrigerator)

    During my stay, I encountered the following issues: - Damaged tile: I stayed in a Room with a bathroom overlooking the night view, but the countertop tile in the shower booth connected to the bathtub was completely cracked and appeared to have been temporarily patched. Because it was visible along with the view and to prevent injury when barefoot, I covered it with a towel while using it. - Refrigerator power: Although I had a free drinks Plan, the refrigerator was not turned on, so nothing was chilled by the next morning. I pointed out the tile issue at checkout and later received a response by email. I am stating these facts here.

    Bay Club Lounge

    From the top-floor lounge, we enjoyed views of Yamashita Park and the Bay Bridge, and could also see the Ferris wheel, making our stay very relaxing. The cocktail hour was excellent as well. We would love to visit again.

    It was a great stay!

    This was my first stay, and I was very satisfied with the Room—spotlessly clean, and I could even see the Ferris wheel from the bath. It’s not cheap, but it felt well worth the price. The location is also convenient, right next to Cosmo World. I ordered Chinese food for takeout, and it was authentic and delicious! However, the lounge and indoor pool were extremely crowded and not very relaxing. I hope this improves, but it’s a Hotel I’d like to stay at again.

    Satisfied.

    The Room is very spacious, clean, and has a balcony. I especially liked that the bath and shower are separated into different rooms. The Hotel staff were very kind and attentive to small details, which was really helpful. Even though the Hotel price is a little high, I think it’s worth it. Breakfast had the same choices every morning (only the fish changed—salmon one day and mackerel another), so I felt that having a bit more variety would be better for a Multiple Night Stay. However, the pool was also great. I was able to enjoy a fun vacation with my husband.

    A Girls’ Getaway for Three Generations

    Thank you very much for upgrading us to the best Room. It was a lively girls’ trip with my niece’s elementary-school daughter, my niece (her mother), and her great-aunt. For our 8-year-old, it was special to stay at the Hotel where her parents held their wedding 10 years ago—she’s now old enough to stay overnight even without her parents. From the balcony and bedroom, she was captivated by the breathtaking, picture-perfect view. Forgetting the heat, she became completely absorbed in sketching on the balcony. I also fondly remembered chatting late into the night in this Hotel on the day before that wedding 10 years ago, in a Room with a Ferris wheel right in front of us—together with my late mother. With such an incredible view and a luxurious Room, we enjoyed a fruit platter as a late-night snack. We also visited the Hotel lounge for matcha shaved ice and club sandwiches. And to top it all off, Snoopy, Disney, and Sanrio—her favorite shops—were just a one-minute walk from the Hotel. That dreamlike page of summer vacation passed by in no time. Thank you very much to all of your staff.

    A Wonderful Stay to Enjoy the Views and Breakfast

    This was our first stay, timed to coincide with my daughter’s birthday month. Although it is a five-star Hotel, it felt comfortably casual and easy to relax in rather than overly formal or ultra-luxurious. Check-in was at the lounge on the 25th floor. While enjoying delicious sweets, we were assisted by an international staff member with exceptional courtesy, for which we are truly grateful. We also received birthday wishes and a message card, which made us very happy. Our Room was a twin Room on the 24th floor. When we entered, the curtains were closed and the Room was dark, but as soon as we opened them, an incredible harbor view spread out before us—it was breathtaking. From the bed by the window, we could even watch the Ferris wheel while lying down, and stepping out onto the balcony to enjoy the night breeze and skyline view was simply wonderful. It was also convenient to be able to watch Netflix and YouTube on the TV. Regarding the bathroom, there was a slightly strong chlorine smell upon entering. We requested an additional air purifier, and by evening it had faded to a level that no longer bothered us, which was reassuring. This may be due to thorough cleaning standards, but I wanted to mention it just in case. We used the night pool during adults-only hours, so it wasn’t crowded and we were able to relax comfortably with a float ring. Most memorable of all was breakfast in the lounge. The omelet topped with truffle and the roast beef were outstanding, and we enjoyed a luxurious morning at our own pace in a calm atmosphere. Since we arrived by car, we also really appreciated the reasonable parking fee of JPY 1,600 for 24 hours. I have stayed at various Hotels in Yokohama before, but this has become another favorite that I would definitely like to return to again. Thank you very much for such a wonderful stay. We are already looking forward to our next stay in November as well."""

    Consistently reliable hospitality

    I’ve stayed here many times. The Facility isn’t new, but the location is excellent. Depending on the Room, the view is also outstanding. One minor concern was that the staff at check-in can be hit or miss, to put it bluntly. This time, I couldn’t clearly understand the explanations or even some details about the Room, and it felt like a routine process, which was disappointing. Still, overall I was satisfied.

    This is the best Hotel, where we are always warmly welcomed. I stayed for one night with a friend, and they said they would definitely like to come again because of the service and comfort. There is always something new to be impressed by. Thank you very much.

    We had a relaxing stay.

    It was so comfortable that I ended up staying in the Hotel and relaxing without going out. Thank you to the lounge staff for your thoughtful attention to detail. I understand it may be difficult to offer Japanese-style options at breakfast in the lounge, but I would be happy if there were mini rice balls available.

    The quality of the staff has declined, and it has become a disappointing Hotel.

    This time, I’m leaving a low rating. From check-in, I immediately had an unpleasant impression. The staff member at the front desk seemed inexperienced and it took a long time (I thought it might be understandable if they were new). However, two women at the front desk were chatting (clearly not about work), which was very surprising. I had a Multiple Night Stay, but my Room was not cleaned. When I returned around 1:00 p.m., it hadn’t been cleaned (there was what looked like a cleaning cart nearby, so I assumed my Room would be next and went out again). Even when I came back at night, it still hadn’t been cleaned, and the “Make up” sign was still displayed. When I contacted the Hotel, I was told, “Please wait while we check.” Check what? Since the Room wasn’t cleaned, an apology should come first. After everything that happened, I ended up changing Rooms. Unfortunately, the new Room was surrounded by a group booking and it was very noisy. There wasn’t a single positive point. Has your Room-cleaning system changed? In the end, no one clearly explained what had changed. Do you not clean Rooms during a Multiple Night Stay? If this were an inexpensive Business Hotel I could understand, but at this price point that’s unacceptable—especially not even replacing towels.

    June was my fourth stay—five stars across the board.

    Even when it’s not a special occasion, it becomes a special memory. It reminds you that what matters most isn’t the location or the name, but the people. A truly wonderful Hotel. We also stay at various new Hotels in the Minato Mirai area one by one, but we still believe this Hotel is the best in Minato Mirai.

    Utterly disappointing.

    One star. I have never given a rating like this before. I am truly disappointed. I am not asking for anything special. To stay normally and peacefully— I believe that is the minimum role of a Hotel. Something similar happened recently, and I did not write a Review that day. After that, I continued to give full 5/5 ratings. However, in this short period of time, and the mistakes even after your response, I judge this to have no value at all. I have been using your services for 25 years, but I want every employee to thoroughly reflect on whether you can speak proudly about this mishandling to the previous generation of Hotel staff. And at the very end, even during automated checkout, one card would not scan, and I was treated coldly and told to go to the counter. I had my son do it so he could learn how to check out, but in the very end I ended up putting him through an unpleasant experience as well. If you don’t want us there, please say so. It turned into an unbearably awful birthday celebration for my son.

    Two relaxing days in a laid-back space

    We stayed in the “Executive Twin Bay View” Room to celebrate my husband’s 60th birthday. Since it was the first day of a three-day weekend, there was a long line at check-in at 15:00. I think it would be better to have a system such as numbered tickets and calling guests when it is their turn, rather than having everyone stand in line. The Room and the view were outstanding. In-room dining was also relaxing and enjoyable. We also used the pool. We went during the daytime, and while there were a few families with small children, it wasn’t crowded. There was also complimentary ice cream service, which made for a very pleasant time. It was two wonderful days in a calm, relaxing atmosphere.

    Great location.

    I thought this Hotel was an excellent choice for sightseeing in Minato Mirai. As the reviews said, every dish was delicious and there was a great variety of drinks. I missed the food service hours on the club floor and arrived late, so I only had drinks, but there were many kinds of cocktails and all of them were very good. For breakfast, the truffle-and-cheese omelet and the sliced roast beef were especially tasty. Since it was on the club floor, I could avoid the crowds and enjoy a relaxed meal while taking in the view from the window. The Room faced the city side, but I could still see Minato Mirai’s cityscape and even part of the sea, so the view from the window was better than expected. The guest room was clean and had a ReFa hair dryer, and there were high-quality amenities and drinks provided as well. Also, because it is directly connected to Queen’s Square, it was very convenient to go back and forth between shopping and the Hotel, and to take the Minato Mirai Line for sightseeing. This time I only used the club lounge, but next time I would definitely like to try one of this Hotel’s highly rated restaurants as well.

    Reliable Comfort

    You’ll feel comfortable no matter when you visit. Enjoying a glass of wine on the balcony while taking in the panoramic night view of Yokohama is truly special. We also appreciate the thoughtful layout with a separate bath, shower, and toilet. Thank you as well for helping celebrate my birthday.

    The Room was clean, ...

    The Room was clean, and the view was wonderful! In many Hotels, the top bedding is often like a thin sheet, but here it was a fluffy comforter, so it was very comfortable to sleep. With both a shower room and a bathtub, I could relax in the bath and unwind after a long day. It is directly connected to the subway underground without going outside, making it easy to get around even in rain or heat, and I would like to stay here again next time.

    Direct access from the station is always a plus.

    Even in a torrential downpour like yesterday, it’s truly convenient and reassuring that you can reach your Room via the Minatomirai Line without going outside even once. Even when a typhoon is forecast, you can feel at ease on the day. A Hotel you can trust is the best!

    Relax and unwind

    I enjoy hotel stays as a hobby. This time, I stayed at this Hotel for 3 nights and 4 days, and enjoyed the Minato Mirai night view from my Room. The Hotel was clean and had a calm atmosphere. I also used the Facility pool; since it wasn’t crowded, I could swim freely, which was great. The Room was clean, and the bathroom was stylish as well. There was also a DVD player, so I could watch DVDs I brought with me and relax at my own pace. I also appreciated the complimentary drinks in the Room. However, there is no coin laundry service—only paid laundry/cleaning—so for longer stays it may be a bit inconvenient. For that reason, I rated the Facility 4 stars. For meals: on Day 1 lunch, I had the Summer House club sandwich set; the chilled pumpkin soup was delicious. On Day 2 dinner, we had a recommended course menu at Taishimasa (Japanese cuisine). Everything—from the steak to the eel—looked beautiful and tasted wonderful. My husband also said the imo shochu was very good. On Day 3, we used in-room dining from Cafe Tosca. This was also a fish-and-meat course meal that arrived hot and tasted great. It would have been even better if soup had been included for a full-course feel. The Hotel is directly connected to Tokyu Plaza, which is very convenient. I was very satisfied and felt refreshed. Thank you very much.

    Room

    Last time, I was very happy to have a view of the Ferris wheel. This time, I was grateful that I could check in early. However, it was my first time being guided to use the automated check-in, and having to enter information for my roommate as well (0?) was a bit of a hassle. Since we were assigned our Room early, it wasn’t facing the Ferris wheel, which was disappointing. Breakfast was delicious, and I thought the staff were excellent—working efficiently with attentive greetings, guidance, and hospitality.

    I stayed here for a ...

    I stayed here for a conference. The night view from my Room was truly stunning, and I was able to enjoy a luxurious time while taking in the Minato Mirai scenery. It was especially memorable to experience a different side of Yokohama compared to the daytime. The Accommodation was clean, and all the staff were kind, so I felt comfortable throughout my stay. The location was also excellent—convenient for getting to the conference venue and for exploring the surrounding area. I had a very comfortable stay, which helped ease some of the conference-related tension. I would definitely like to stay here again when visiting Yokohama.

    Highly satisfied!

    We loved everything—the spacious lobby, tea time there, the Room, the sink area, and the generously sized bath. Breakfast was delicious too. We were a bit confused at first (it felt different from what we expected when making our own Reservation), but it turned out to be truly wonderful. Check-out is at 11:00, so we could take our time and really enjoy our stay. We were very happy. The staff were kind as well. Since we’re older, we didn’t understand how to use the lovely bathtub at first and panicked a little, but once we figured it out, we could relax. Thanks to that, even the morning was great!

    Thank you very much for your kind hospitality during our stay. With my mother’s beloved Minato Mirai views and the warm smiles of your staff, it was truly a wonderful, hospitality-filled experience, and we would like to express our sincere gratitude once again. From this perfectly located spot overlooking Minato Mirai, the bay area scenery changes beautifully over time—no matter how many times we visit, it is a view we could admire forever. For a stay focused on relaxing inside the Hotel, time in the lounge is one of the highlights. At afternoon tea in the Club Lounge, there was an excellent variety including nine kinds of nuts, four kinds of macarons, cakes, and more; we especially enjoyed the pleasantly sweet salted caramel macaron and chai. During cocktail time, there was also a wide selection of mocktails, which allowed us to fully enjoy ourselves even though we are not fond of alcohol. At breakfast, the chef’s freshly made cheese omelet topped with sliced truffle and truffle oil was outstanding. The roast beef as well as Maison Kayser’s assorted Danish pastries were excellent, and there was also a great selection of salads and fruits—we were truly impressed by the high quality of breakfast overall. It was a lovely stay where we could feel your attention to detail throughout. We look forward to visiting again.

    The nostalgic Tokyu Bay Hotel!

    I stayed here nearly 20 years ago and had a sea-side Room then, but this time I had a city-side Room. The Facility felt a bit dated, but it was well cleaned and I had a comfortable stay. All the staff were pleasant and kind. I sometimes enjoy staying at a Hotel in Minato Mirai on weekends to refresh, and this Room was more than spacious enough! One small disappointment was that the gap around the shower room door was tricky, and after using it the first time, the bathroom floor ended up soaked... I felt it would be a bit of a hassle to contact the front desk, so from the second time onward I used it carefully, but I still wondered how others manage it??? Other than that, I had an enjoyable time and it was a great weekend. Thank you again for taking care of me during this stay.
