    This is an excellent Hotel that will make you want to stay again.

    Before COVID, this was my favorite Hotel, and I always stayed here whenever I went to the Yokohama area. Since the pandemic, even when visiting Yokohama I started making day trips instead, so I hadn’t been back for a while. This time, I was able to attend an event in Yokohama with friends—one of whom had been asking me for a long time to take her to The Yokohama Bay Hotel Tokyu—so the three of us decided to stay overnight for the first time in years. The staff were very kind and pleasant, the food was excellent, and the location is extremely convenient for shopping and sightseeing. Above all, the attentive service left us feeling truly refreshed both physically and mentally. My friends who stayed with me also praised it highly and thanked me. We just set off on our way home after promising that we will stay here together again next time.

    Wonderful Club Lounge

    Both the Room and the Club Lounge offerings were excellent, making for a truly relaxing stay. As a tea lover, I was delighted by how delicious the lounge’s tea was. Also, it was fun in the evening to order from a wide variety of cocktails and have them made for you. I’ve visited lounges at many Hotels, but it’s rare to find one with such an extensive list. Since it was a city-side Room, I didn’t expect much of the view, but I could still enjoy a wonderful景色 overlooking Yokohama Port through the large windows. Thank you for upgrading me to the top floor. The staff were kind, and it was a Plan that felt safe even for a solo stay. I’d love to stay again.

    A Friend’s Birthday

    Thank you for arranging a Room with a view of the Ferris wheel. I was able to sit on the balcony chairs and chat endlessly with a friend I’ve shared half a century with. The moon was beautiful—it was the perfect night. We ordered a fruit and sliced cake set via room service; it was delicious and the portion size was just right. The next day, we enjoyed Japanese cuisine at Taishima, and to our surprise, they even served red-and-white namasu for my birthday. This is a Hotel where even those of us past 60 can relax and enjoy ourselves with peace of mind. We would love to visit again.

    Disappointed with the way Maison Kayser bread was served.

    I stayed on the Club Floor. Since a Room on the same floor as the Club Lounge was available, they kindly changed my Room, and I felt all the staff were very attentive and helpful. I also appreciated being able to choose breakfast either at the Club Lounge or at Cafe Tosca. One disappointment was the breakfast bread. I was looking forward to it because it was from Maison Kayser, but it seemed like some time had passed after baking, and I found it less tasty than freshly baked in-house bread at other hotels. With some adjustments to how it’s served, I think it could be offered closer to freshly baked quality. For reference, I tried reheating a croissant myself, but it didn’t regain that fresh-baked crispness.

    This was my first st...

    This was my first stay since the COVID-19 pandemic. Even as services have changed due to COVID, the variety of items in the breakfast lounge was excellent, and the omelet—which wasn’t previously available—was absolutely delicious. The staff’s hospitality was also wonderful. I will definitely visit again. Thank you very much.

    I was able to show my parents my appreciation.

    We stayed on the club floor with my parents and my brother and his wife. I made a Reservation for a triple Room for myself and my parents. My mother especially loved being able to enjoy the night view while taking a bath. Since we checked in as a group of five, there were no seats available at first, but they prepared one for us right away. We visited again later that evening, and they had kept the seating ready for five, expecting us to return. We truly appreciated the Hotel staff’s thoughtful hospitality. Breakfast was also excellent with a great variety, and even my picky father was able to eat until he was full. My mother said she would like to stay again next year as well, so we would love to return.

    If the weather is clear, the view is spectacular.

    Because we stayed on a rainy day, the night view wasn’t very clear. The terrace was also unusable because rain blew in. Still, it was helpful that we could access the Accommodation from the station without getting wet. But by the next morning, once it got brighter, we were able to enjoy the view to some extent. We could see from the Ferris wheel all the way toward Yamashita Park, which was reassuring. What disappointed us was that when we tried to boil water, the inside of the kettle was quite damp and we lost motivation to use it. We had been looking forward to morning coffee. The staff may have been busy during the holiday period, but I felt their checks were not thorough enough.

    This was my third stay, and once again I had a very comfortable experience from check-in to check-out. Each staff member consistently provided attentive and appropriate service, which impresses me every time. I will definitely stay again. Thank you very much.

    We had a relaxing stay.

    We stayed with access to the club lounge. The view of the cruise ships from the lounge and the night scenery were wonderful, and we were truly impressed. We could also enjoy a beautiful night view from our Room, which made it feel like a special escape. We also visited the pool, making our stay even more fulfilling. We are grateful to the staff for their pleasant and attentive service. We would love to visit again. Thank you very much.

    Thank you again for accommodating my request. The courteous service at check-in and the friendliness of all the staff made a wonderful impression, and I was able to spend another blissful time enjoying the night view in a beautifully cleaned room. I can’t wait to visit again. At check-in, I was told, “Please feel free to enjoy the drinks in the refrigerator,” but it was empty, so perhaps this Plan did not include complimentary beverages.

    We had a satisfying stay.

    I was satisfied with the location, Facility, and breakfast, but what stood out most was the staff’s hospitality. Everyone in every department was truly kind and attentive, which made my stay very comfortable. Whenever I visit Yokohama, I would definitely like to stay here again.

    If you’re unsure, choose this Hotel.

    On a whim, I stayed with my child. The location is great—close enough to reach from the station without getting wet, and there’s a convenience store nearby as well. There was a good-value Plan, and we were able to have dinner in our Room, so we could truly relax while eating. When you’re with a child, it’s easy to hesitate about Hotel restaurants unless it’s a buffet. (I actually went to dinner at Cafe Tosca exactly a month ago.) The easy-to-do distance and price made for a refreshing change that helped melt away the fatigue! The coffee we ordered via room service was over-reduced and tasted bad, so I’d like that improved, but everything else was perfect! The bathroom facilities were also very user-friendly—highly recommended Accommodation.

    I’m glad we could spend our anniversary like this.

    Check-in was at the lounge on the 25th floor, and after enjoying some sweets we headed to our Room—then, ding-dong. I opened the door wondering what it was, and I was truly shocked: a staff member with a big smile, holding a cake and flowers. Since I hadn’t told the Hotel it was my birthday (and turning this age had me feeling a bit down), I was genuinely surprised. It seems my husband secretly informed the Hotel, which made this wonderful surprise possible. Usually they congratulate you at check-in, which is nice—but maybe I’ve gotten used to that over the years. This time, though (and because I had no idea), seeing him standing there at our door with a cake and that huge smile is something I’ll never forget. (The cake is an additional charge, but it’s absolutely worth ordering. The Hotel also gave us flowers and a music box, which moved me even more.) We chose this place because we wanted to relax and enjoy the Minato Mirai night view often seen in TV dramas. Maybe because it was a weekday night, it felt pleasantly busy. But when we chose the breakfast buffet in the morning, it was very lively—clearly a popular Hotel. (For simmered dishes like nimono-style items, ladles might work better than tongs; someone was picking out ingredients one by one and the line got quite long.) Even at checkout, we appreciated the thoughtful attention to detail. I had been dreading this milestone birthday, but I completely forgot about that and ended up having such a wonderful day.     Enjoy Minato Mirai! A premium stay with an exceptional lounge and pool

    We stayed for one night (2 days) as a parent and child (2 adults) on the “Bay Club Floor Premium Stay (Breakfast Included)” Plan. This time we were able to stay at a great price with the Point Discount, but more than that, we had an amazing experience that exceeded the cost. ■ Extremely satisfied with the lounge! We chose this Hotel because we were looking for one with lounge access, and it was absolutely the right choice. Check-in can be done in the lounge. Tea Time (from 2:00 PM): We enjoyed Shine Muscat cake and macarons. The cake was truly delicious! Cocktail Time (from 5:30 PM): Lasagna, seafood marinade, salmon, and more—everything was excellent, and we were full enough without going out for dinner. There was also a wide variety of non-alcoholic cocktails, all of which were very tasty. ■ Room and excellent Facility offerings We chose a twin Park View Room, and at night the Minato Mirai Ferris wheel spread out right in front of us—it was beautiful and romantic. We also appreciated that drinks in the in-room refrigerator, chocolates, and even 1L carton water were free. The pool available free of charge was fantastic as well! It also has a sauna—great for sauna lovers—and they offered free float rentals plus a service where you can receive one Coolish ice cream or an ice cream monaka. ■ Access / surrounding area With direct access from Minato Mirai Station, it’s an outstanding location where you can move around without getting wet in the rain. There are many shopping complexes nearby, so we enjoyed shopping during spare moments as well as evening strolls. ■ Breakfast For breakfast you can choose either the lounge or the buffet (Tosca); this time we had both Japanese- and Western-style dishes at Tosca. The selection was very satisfying even first thing in the morning. Until checkout at 11:00 PM, we were able to relax comfortably both in our Room and in the lounge. This has become one of our favorite Hotels—we would definitely like to stay again!

    The club lounge was ...

    The club lounge was excellent. Both the cakes at tea time and the food at cocktail time were far more satisfying than at other Hotels. The truffle omelet at breakfast was also delicious. All the staff were very pleasant, and perhaps because it was a weekday, it wasn’t too crowded, so we could relax. I would like to stay again.

    A Hotel I’ve Loved for 20 Years

    This time, I stayed with my 5-year-old daughter. This is my favorite Hotel, and I’ve stayed here more than 10 times over the past 20 years—first with my family, then with my husband before we got married. I’ve always loved sitting on the balcony chair with snacks and drinks, relaxing while watching the Ferris wheel. My daughter seemed to feel the same. It was her first stay, but she sat quietly on the balcony chair and watched the Ferris wheel for over an hour—even though she’s usually very energetic and can’t sit still. She said it was “too wonderful to sleep,” got into bed, and then quickly fell asleep because the bed was so fluffy. She also loved the pool. She played right up until 6:00 PM and kept saying she wanted to stay longer. Next time, we’d like to go to the pool as soon as we check in. Lastly, breakfast was luxurious. The curry and the salad dressing (tomato) were especially delicious. The only regret was that I was too full to try the omelet or Chinese-style rice porridge. I also thought it would be even nicer if there were whipped cream near the pancakes. This ended up being long, but this is truly a Hotel I love—every visit makes me feel nostalgic and warm inside. Next time, I hope we can visit as a family of three. Thank you very much to all of your staff.

    Because I had a grea...

    Because I had a great stay two days earlier after a long time, I decided at the last minute to stay one more night and made another Reservation with the same Plan. However, the check-in experience that day was extremely disappointing. There were only two other parties besides me, so it wasn’t busy, yet I was kept standing and waiting for a long time. The female staff member who assisted me never smiled and did not even say, “Thank you for waiting.” She also had not read the message I included at the time of Reservation and gave no response at all. If check-in was going to take time, I think it would have helped if the bell staff waiting in front of the front desk (I believe there were more than four) had supported the front desk operations instead of just watching, or if someone had guided me to a nearby chair so I could wait seated—small thoughtful actions like these would have made the wait much easier. I mentioned that if possible I would like a Room with similar interior design to the Room I stayed in two days earlier (which seemed renovated), but for some reason I was first shown what felt like an unrenovated Room with an old toilet seat and old shower fixtures. After calling because of how different it was from my previous Room, a male staff member showed me another Room; however, even that one differed from my previous stay in details such as bedside built-ins and lighting, and it was not an interior style I liked. I also noticed heavy dust behind the TV stand in the Room, which suggested cleaning was not thorough. Even though I paid the same rate, it seems renovated Rooms and partially renovated Rooms are mixed together depending on luck, which left me feeling unsettled. Please clearly indicate whether a Room is renovated or still undergoing renovation. It would be acceptable for renovated Rooms and partially renovated Rooms to be priced differently; since Facilities and interior design are important factors when choosing a Hotel, you should also post photos that match each Plan. Also, why are front desk staff unable to confirm what each Room’s interior is like? Because my stay two days earlier left such a positive impression, this visit was especially disappointing and unsatisfying. If Reservations can be made in advance by specifying a room number by phone or similar means, I would consider visiting again; if not possible, unfortunately I do not think I will return.

    The bathroom layout ...

    The bathroom layout was unusual—with a separate toilet, a separate shower, and the sink and bathtub in the same room—but I found it practical. Most people probably just use the shower, and if it’s attached right next to the bathtub, cleaning the entire tub every time would be a hassle. The only thing that bothered me was that there wasn’t a magnifying mirror at the sink.

    We had a comfortable stay and were very satisfied.

    This year, we visited again as a couple for the first time in a while, returning to this memorable Hotel where we once stayed as a family. It seemed our Room had just finished renovations, and everything—from the shower and bathroom faucets to the toilet—was stylish and spotless. The interior and shower were different from the photos shown online, but it was exactly to our taste. Although it was an affordable Plan, our satisfaction was so high that we felt like staying at Bay Tokyu every time we visit Yokohama. The amenities and interior design were tasteful, and we were impressed by how well thought out everything was—from the layout and flow of movement to space-saving furniture such as rounded sideboards and tables with no sharp corners. When our children were small, we stayed on the Ferris wheel side, but this time we chose a city view, which felt more mature and offered a wonderful景色 that we really enjoyed. The location is excellent as well—convenient and comfortable for getting anywhere. All of the staff that day welcomed us with warm smiles, which helped melt away our疲れ. Many new Hotels have opened in Yokohama in recent years and competition seems intense, but we truly hope you will keep up the great work.

    We had a wonderful holiday.

    We checked in at the Bay Club Lounge and enjoyed dessert time. Everything was delicious, especially the macarons and the muscat tart. The Room was spacious and had a terrace as well. The bathroom and shower room were equipped with a ReFa showerhead, which made it easy to relax. Cocktail time starts at 5:30 p.m., so we went early. There was a wide variety of non-alcoholic cocktails, and we enjoyed plenty of seafood and salad-style snacks, something like gratin, as well as bread and grissini—more than enough to feel full. For breakfast we went to Cafe Tosca, but it was crowded and not very relaxing. Next time we stay on the club floor, I think it would be better to have breakfast at the Bay Club Lounge.

    It was very good.

    This was our first stay. The harbor view was simply breathtaking. At night, we turned off the Room lights and opened the curtains fully, and my husband and I watched the night scenery for a long time. For dinner, we treated ourselves to the Hotel’s Kaga cuisine restaurant. It was quiet and relaxing, and we enjoyed delicious dishes at a leisurely pace. We also had breakfast via room service. It was very good, but I couldn’t finish it all and even left some bread. I wish there had been a takeout bag provided. All of the Hotel staff served us with smiles, which made us very happy. My husband and I said we’d like to come back to this Hotel again for another special getaway. We will visit again.

    I stayed here again after a long time because my daughter was competing in a national intercollegiate tournament. I had planned to take her for teppanyaki at night, and I panicked because I assumed it would be available, but I was glad there was a place nearby. The bed was very comfortable, which was a big help for me after driving from Kansai. Breakfast also had a wide variety of dishes and was delicious. If I have the chance to visit Yokohama again, I would definitely like to stay here. Thank you very much.

    A cozy, home-like place to relax

    Whenever I’m in the Kanto area, I almost always stay here. I request my favorite Room (the floor may vary), and once I put my luggage away in the chest of drawers or closet, I can relax as if it were my own room and unwind from everyday fatigue. From the arched windows, you can see the Nippon Maru and the Ferris wheel, and at night there’s a beautiful view reflected on the water. This time as well, I used the round-trip limousine bus from Haneda Airport, so even though it was raining, I didn’t need an umbrella and had no stress with my luggage. The staff are always kind and provide comfortable service every time. I’m looking forward to staying again next time. Thank you as always!

    The view from the Room is absolutely stunning.

    This was my first time staying at this Hotel. The view from the balcony was unbelievably beautiful—absolutely amazing. My son, who lives in Yokohama, also admired the view from the high floor and said it was wonderful. The Room was spacious and very clean. Since it was on the same floor as the club lounge, I used it many times and had a very comfortable stay. All of the staff were kind and courteous. The club lounge and the Japanese breakfast were both delicious. I would like to stay here again on my next trip to Yokohama.

    Prime location

    The club lounge was excellent as well. We enjoyed a concert at Billboard Live Yokohama from 5:30 PM to 7:40 PM, so we only just made it in time for cocktail hour, but I’m glad we did. Our Room was a corner suite and fairly luxurious. However, the next morning I called Room Service to request an extra toothpaste, but no one answered. I believe it was around 7:45 AM—Room Service should always pick up the phone. Everything else was great.

    Ideal for attending concerts at K-Arena.

    The location was excellent, and the staff were friendly and efficient, making our stay very comfortable. The Ferris wheel and the Minato Mirai night view from the Room balcony were beautiful. The bathroom was also convenient, with a separate shower room and bathtub. One disappointing point was breakfast: there was a wide variety at the buffet, but the sausages were cold and the soup wasn’t hot. Even though there were many staff members, refills in various areas took a long time, and I saw several guests give up waiting to be served. Still, it’s a Hotel I’d like to stay at again and would recommend to anyone.

    It’s my favorite place, and I stay here every time.

    My family stays here about 5–6 times a year, and we stayed twice last month as well. We always choose a park-view Room, and it’s such a comfortable Hotel where we can relax with coffee on the balcony while enjoying the Minato Mirai scenery—an ideal getaway from everyday life. The staff are always courteous, and we enjoy a pleasant stay every time. During our stay last month, there seemed to be a minor issue with the bed, but afterward the manager kindly called to offer a sincere apology. In addition, during this stay they kindly provided complimentary breakfast and parking fees, which we truly appreciated. Their willingness to respond properly whenever something happens gave us renewed peace of mind and an even better impression. We would like to continue staying here as a family, and we look forward to visiting again soon.

    Family Stay

    This time, three generations of our family stayed for one night as a break for our grandchild who is studying. It was close to Cosmo World and Sky Duck, and it also had a pool. The Room was wonderful, the meals were very satisfying, and everyone was delighted. The view from the Room was also amazing. We would definitely like to visit again together.
