You may hear sounds from other rooms.

Stayed on the 14th floor, but could hear voices from the neighboring Room (though unclear) and footsteps from the floor above. The Room was disappointing and not up to the standard expected of a Grand Prince Hotel, making me want to request a change. Chose this Hotel for its proximity to the Expo, but it was a letdown. The ink in the provided pen had run out, indicating that basic amenities were not properly checked. Ordered ice cubes through Room service, but they were delivered without a lid. When I asked about it, I was told to use the lid from a similar container in my Room as they would take back their container. While exchanging containers is understandable, delivering ice without any cover seems unacceptable. This approach is something I've never experienced at any other Hotel before and can only describe it as disappointing. I hope more attention will be paid to such details in the future.

Some aspects feel less refined compared to when it was a Hyatt.

I stayed for one night during a three-day weekend. I have been using this hotel several times a year for work since it was the Hyatt Regency, but I feel that the following points have become less convenient: 1. The number of seats and frequency of shuttle buses to Osaka Station. 2. Reduced menu options and downgraded quality in the Club Lounge. Regarding point 1, there were so many users on both trips that even with all auxiliary seats filled, some people had to wait for the next bus. While the location is not particularly convenient from central Osaka, and especially now that it seems to be targeting more families as part of its rebranding under Hoshino Resorts, neither increasing bus size nor frequency feels like negligence. During late hours when buses run only once an hour, missing a full bus can be quite inconvenient. Additionally, while I stayed in a newly renovated room with higher rates this time, issues such as inconvenient water facilities (no temperature adjustment function; you need to turn separate hot and cold taps) and an odd layout where the shower booth and bathtub are separated by a sink remain unchanged—this was disappointing. For a twin room without separate toilet and bath areas—a long-standing inconvenience—I had hoped these would improve under new management with renovations but was let down. The Club Lounge also felt less special due to fewer alcohol options during cocktail time or lower-grade wine offerings compared to before. Even tea bags used in rooms have shifted from high-end foreign brands like Ronnefeldt used during Hyatt's era—making me question whether upgrading rooms is worth it anymore. On a positive note: breakfast has improved compared to Hyatt days with more Japanese dishes added along with kid-friendly buffet sections enhancing satisfaction levels significantly! Dinner at their newly opened sushi restaurant also impressed me greatly regarding both service & taste—I’d love returning there again! However overall pricing remains similar—or sometimes higher—to what it was under Hyatt yet front desk services now feel disorganized/sloppy often leaving guests seeking calmness frustrated instead despite being labeled "friendly." At minimum offering check-out services directly within club floors exclusively reserved by those booking them could better justify premium charges paid here versus competitors operating similarly priced hotels delivering superior experiences comparatively speaking today hopefully seeing improvements soon ahead!

    A Base for Expo Access

Stayed at the accommodation close to the venue to conserve energy. Enjoyed the delicious buffet at the restaurant. The hotel stay became a memorable part of our Expo experience.

    Convenient with a shuttle bus

Although it is located in a slightly inconvenient area, there is a shuttle bus to Osaka Station that takes about 25 minutes, making it convenient. The Room is clean, and the breakfast is delicious.

    Convenient for visiting the Expo.

Stayed for 2 nights with breakfast during the Expo. While I understand it’s a busy time, many staff seemed tired, with no greetings, no smiles, and a somewhat curt attitude towards guests, which dampened the excitement of the trip. At check-in, I was informed that the breakfast venue was on the basement floor, and the same note was written on the card key holder. However, there was nothing on the basement floor, and the actual breakfast venue was on the first floor. Although the stay wasn’t terrible, it didn’t feel pleasant, and I felt I might have chosen the wrong Hotel. However, on the morning of the second day, a tall gentleman at the breakfast venue greeted us with a wonderful smile and excellent service, which finally brought a smile to my face as well. Thank you for making the morning a pleasant one. Overall, I felt the experience didn’t quite match the price, but considering it was during the Expo, I convinced myself it was understandable.

    For the Expo

I stayed at this Hotel for the Expo. The Room was spacious, and the Executive Floor was excellent. I chose this Plan because I had a great experience using it at Karuizawa Prince. The staff on the Executive Floor were especially outstanding. They were kind and made my stay very pleasant. Although I don't drink alcohol, I enjoyed a luxurious time with my family while having light snacks. Honestly, the time spent here was more satisfying than the Expo itself. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because one male staff member who handled my luggage beforehand was cold in his response, which made me wonder if choosing this Hotel was a mistake.

    Spacious and comfortable Hotel

Spacious and luxurious, with polite and attentive front desk and staff, it was a pleasant Hotel. There’s hardly anything to complain about. If I had to mention something, it would be that the location of the convenience store in the basement was a bit hard to find, and there were few restaurants within the Hotel (perhaps because the Italian restaurant was closed during my visit). Overall, very satisfied!

    Highly satisfied.

Stayed for 2 nights during the Osaka Kansai Expo. Although I was at the Diamond Stage, there was no room upgrade due to the expo being held. However, I greatly appreciated being allowed a late check-out until 2 PM. The room's interior was very clean, and it is a hotel I would love to stay at again.

Is this the level of service you expect???

I have stayed here several times before, but this time was the worst. First, during check-in, there was a long line, and instead of increasing the number of front desk staff, it seemed to decrease. Each guest took a long time to process, making check-in very slow. Additionally, my room was not ready and I was moved to another room with a poor view. Previously, there used to be a letter from the manager in the room, but this time there wasn’t one, which made me feel that service quality has declined. Furthermore, even after calling the concierge and front desk multiple times via internal phone lines, I couldn’t get through and didn’t even receive a callback. Under Seibu Group management now—this level of service is unacceptable... I sincerely hope for improvements.

It was a nice and relaxing Hotel.

Although it's a bit away from the center of Osaka, it was a very nice Hotel where you can relax away from the hustle and bustle! We stayed here for the Osaka Kansai Expo, and it was conveniently close to Yumeshima and also near the Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan, making it an ideal Hotel for family trips. After spending hot days outside, returning to the Hotel with its lovely fragrance and quiet atmosphere helped us unwind and switch our mood. Shampoo, conditioner, body soap, etc., were provided; however, women's amenities needed to be requested by phone. This was slightly inconvenient when returning late at night. From the second stay onward, this wouldn't bother you as much once you're familiar with it; but if it's your first time staying here, it's good to keep in mind. This is about all that concerned me—everything else was excellent! After tiring days surrounded by crowds during daytime outings, we could truly relax at this calm Hotel. The bathroom had separate shower booths and bathtubs which were spacious and comfortable too. I would definitely love to stay here again when visiting Osaka!

Less than a 10-minute taxi ride from the Osaka Expo venue's West Gate, making the return trip easy and comfortable after a tiring day. The Hotel staff were all kind and attentive, allowing for a relaxing stay. From the Room, we could also enjoy views of fireworks at the Expo venue and luxurious cruise ships departing. It was a wonderful Hotel stay. Thank you very much!

The staff were very kind and attentive, which was wonderful. The Room was very clean and comfortable, and I appreciated the complimentary champagne. However, perhaps due to the number of international guests, I had to wait about 25 minutes to check in. Additionally, there were no amenities like lotion or emulsion provided. Although I requested them in advance, we only received one set (lotion, emulsion, face wash, makeup remover) for three women, which wasn’t enough so we had to purchase more at a convenience store. It would be great if lotion and emulsion could be made available as standard amenities.

A stunning view overlooking the cityscape of Osaka

During my previous stay at the Hyatt, I had a wonderful experience, so this time I stayed with my mother. The room was very clean and comfortable, and we were provided with a room on the top 27th floor overlooking the Osaka cityscape. The view was stunning, and my mother was very pleased. Although there was no upgrade, we were fully satisfied with our stay. On the other hand, regarding Diamond benefits, there was no explanation from the hotel during check-in, which left me slightly disappointed. Additionally, breakfast lacked any distinctive features and felt underwhelming given our expectations. It would have been a more satisfying stay if these services had been enhanced. Overall, it was a pleasant and comfortable stay that created great memories. Thank you very much!

Perfect place to stay if you're visiting the Expo.

Conveniently located near the Expo, with well-equipped facilities. The staff provided very polite service, and although I only had breakfast, it seemed to offer a wide variety of options. I would like to stay here again. (I wish there was a large public bath; if there is one, my apologies.)

    For a special occasion

I stayed using the Diamond benefits for a special occasion, but it turned out to be a very disappointing stay. Due to the Expo, I understand that upgrades were not possible, but I was given just a high-floor room that wasn't even on the ocean side. The room lacked any distinctive features and felt like a slightly larger Business Hotel. The location is inconvenient for anything other than the Expo and not recommended for sightseeing. When calling hotel services, there were many instances where no one answered. When I finally reached guest services to inquire about the bus to Osaka, I was told that in addition to calling, I would need to go all the way to the bell desk and get a tag in order to use it. Overall, including service quality, I regret not choosing another major international hotel brand instead.

Participating in an event at INTEX Osaka

I made a Reservation as I attended an event at INTEX Osaka with my friend. The guest room was clean and tidy, but the bathroom and toilet were combined, and the entrance door had no lock, which allowed anyone to enter. It would be better if it had a lock. We had our meal at The Café. They were hosting a Hawaii Fair, and all the dishes were delicious; however, it was disappointing that drinks other than water cost 800 yen for soft drinks, and alcohol was also charged separately. Overall, the guest room was clean, the staff's service was excellent, and parking was free until 3 PM. I think this Hotel is great for those attending events nearby.

    Unfortunately!

Since I was staying with my child, I didn't mind whether the bed was a king or twin. On IKYU.com, I decided to make a Reservation for this Hotel after looking at photos of the Club Premier Room. The king bed Room had a city view with high-rise buildings, while the twin Room offered an ocean view. However, even after reading the Plan details multiple times, there was no mention of city or ocean views. So, I reserved the twin Room with an ocean view. Check-in took quite some time due to what seemed like a shortage of staff. As a Diamond member, I received discount vouchers for the Hotel's restaurant and late check-out privileges; however, late check-out wasn't possible because they claimed it was fully booked that day. Yet on IKYU.com that same day, many Rooms appeared available. When I entered my Room, I was shocked—it was not an ocean-view but rather a city-view twin Room! Unbelievable! Despite reserving based on photos showing an ocean-view Room and being a Diamond member expecting potential upgrades if available—I felt downgraded instead! This felt like outright fraud. Frustrated and upset, I called reception to complain and finally got moved to the correct Room as shown in their photos. They had initially claimed full occupancy during check-in—clearly untrue since they managed to switch my Room later! The experience left me extremely dissatisfied; what should have been an enjoyable stay turned into disappointment. That said—the actual ocean view from my new room was stunning! The sushi teppanyaki restaurant on B1 floor served delicious food; staff service overall was good too. Breakfast options were limited but tasty nonetheless. If they'd given me the correct ocean-view room from the start—5 stars without question! But given how shady everything felt—I won't be returning again.

    Breakfast needs immediate improvement.

The original design seems excellent, and the facility is outstanding. The guest rooms have been renovated and are comfortable. Although the bathrooms are not renovated, they are well-maintained, spacious, and sufficient. The service was generally good. Points of concern: - It is convenient to request amenities; however, since information is not passed on properly, it becomes necessary to contact the staff every time cleaning occurs, which is bothersome. I have never stayed during its Hyatt days so cannot compare, but this does not happen at Hyatt in Tokyo—perhaps a policy of Prince Hotel? - Tried to have dinner within the hotel but was told all restaurants except for the bar were fully booked at all times. Ended up having light snacks at the bar which remained almost empty until 9 PM. Other restaurants also appeared to have vacant seats when checked from outside. The Japanese restaurant showed no availability online for any time slot but suddenly became fully booked around 5 PM—possibly an operational issue? There seemed to be many group guests staying as well; however, individual guests should also be valued. - The capacity of the all-day dining area is too small for a hotel with over 400 rooms. As expected, on the second day it was full and we were directed to an alternative venue (a ballroom). However, compared to the restaurant itself there were fewer menu options available; some egg dishes were pre-made; service was entirely self-service; and food or tableware replenishment could not keep up with demand. Paying the same amount for this experience felt unfair. Moreover, having exactly identical menus as on previous days can become monotonous during a multiple night stay. While current attendance may benefit from Expo-related visitors now in town—what about after Expo ends? Significant effort will likely be required given challenges posed by its location in Nanko district.

    Thank you for your thoughtfulness.

During our Multiple Night Stay of 2 nights, we added a breakfast buffet for one day, and the staff kindly arranged 3 Rooms next to each other. From check-in, the front desk staff was attentive, allowing us to enjoy a pleasant stay. Thank you very much!

I stayed for two nights this time, and it’s really convenient as it’s within taxi distance from the Expo venue. The Room was a corner twin, and though I splurged a bit, the Room was spacious and comfortable. It’s also perfect as a summer retreat. I’d love to stay here again if I have the chance.

A wonderful Hotel offering a resort-like experience, conveniently located near the Expo venue.

Stayed after visiting the Osaka/Kansai Expo. I chose this hotel because my favorite artist held a dinner show here, and I had been curious about it for a while. This was my first stay. Close to Yumeshima, it offered a brief resort-like experience. I traveled with my mother and made a room request, which was met with kind responses and thoughtful arrangements—truly appreciated. Thanks to an IKYU benefit, we were upgraded to a spacious room on the 22nd floor with views of Sunflower Ferry and Yumeshima, making our stay very comfortable. Since we checked in late, having a convenience store in the basement was very helpful. Breakfast was delicious, including Osaka's specialty Tonpei-yaki, which made us very satisfied. The cleaning service was impeccable as well; this has become one of my favorite hotels that I would love to revisit during future trips to Osaka. Thank you for providing such wonderful moments from check-in to check-out!

Enjoyed the fireworks and drone show!

I booked a room on the port side of the Hotel, hoping to enjoy the fireworks at Expo on 6/28. The room on the 22nd floor offered a fantastic view, including the Sunflower departing from Nanko, toy-like New Tram, and part of the Expo's Big Roof Ring! In the evening, I also enjoyed watching the changing colors of the sky. Although slightly distant, I had a clear view of the fireworks right in front and even got to see the drone show that followed. Breakfast was delicious as well, and it felt like a shame to check out early due to work commitments. Next time, I hope to stay longer and relax more!

For those visiting the Expo, don't miss out!

I stayed at the accommodation to visit the Expo. Since I had a 1-year-old child, it was convenient as the hotel is located within a short taxi ride from the Expo venue in case of emergencies (such as unexpected extreme heat). Returning from the Expo venue at night was also smooth and convenient. At the breakfast venue, when my 5-year-old daughter was looking for milk (while I was occupied taking care of my 1-year-old), a young female staff member kindly assisted her, which was very helpful. Other staff members were also kind to children, which made me happy. Thank you for your support during our stay. Although having separate shower and bathtub facilities might be slightly inconvenient for families with small children, the overall convenience outweighed this aspect and made our stay enjoyable. The accommodation is also close to Kaiyukan Aquarium, making it easy to visit there as well—highly recommended!

    Premium Hospitality

We stayed for one night with three families and four grandchildren, enjoying the pool over the weekend and a BBQ dinner. Although we were initially confused by changes in the pool reservation system and usage rules, we were impressed by the consistently high level of service. From the BBQ venue, we could see fireworks from the Expo, which delighted our grandchildren. The excellent service at the front desk made our stay even more pleasant. We plan to visit again later this summer!
