    The building is very...

    The building is very spacious and impressive, giving a sense of luxury. The staff is attentive, and I thought the service was very good. What concerned me was that during check-in, I was told that my room was upgraded because I am a Diamond member. I had reserved a Deluxe Double, but the room provided was also a Deluxe Double on the 12th floor. Deluxe Doubles should be available from the 6th to the 22nd floor. I was disappointed with the 12th floor but hoped for a good view, only to find a view of an apartment complex. I thought it might be a renovated room (the room was very clean), but there were several black scratches on the bathtub, and there was hardened limescale, so the bathtub was old. I wondered what the upgrade was. The late checkout also felt reluctant. Asking "Until what time will you stay?" is not something you would normally hear. Room upgrades and late checkouts for Diamond member privileges often don't work during busy periods, so it would have been better to be clearly refused. Also, since the coffee in the room is instant powder, I wish I could bring back drip coffee from the restaurant venue.

    Good value for money! Great service too!!

    I had a very comfortable stay at the end of April, so I decided to stay for one night again this time! Currently, they are renovating the guest rooms starting from the lower floors, so it seems the club floor rooms will be done after the new year? (As of my stay on September 29, I was told that up to the 9th floor had been renovated.) I booked a room with lounge access again this time, as I found it at an unbeatable price and couldn't resist. Being on a higher floor, the view was great, and I'm looking forward to seeing this area renovated as well! The front desk staff took some time to confirm the price as it was slightly different from what I had applied for, but they apologized profusely, which was almost humbling. The lounge staff were all courteous and reliable. Since I visited just before 6 PM, there were several hot and cold dishes, melon, orange, and cut cake available, which I was personally very satisfied with. The café au lait from the coffee machine was also good. As for the breakfast staff, they mostly seemed to be international, but when I requested iced coffee, they quickly served it to my table and frequently cleared the dishes, so there were no issues. The female chef who was making omelets and such at that time was very friendly, which left a good impression! There are no issues with the responsiveness of any of the staff. It's one of the hotels that makes me want to stay again, and I plan to visit again after the renovations.

    Upgrade with Diamond benefits, hospitality at its finest.

    I stayed in the 80-square-meter "Club Premium Twin" with Diamond benefits. I've stayed in rooms of this size several times overseas, but in Japan, it's been decades since my wedding ceremony. During the COVID period, I stayed a few times and enjoyed dinner via room service, but in this room, room service would be even more enjoyable. Now, regarding the cleaning, which I had a slight complaint about last time, it was perfect. With gratitude for the upgrade, it's a solid five stars this time. I also stayed in February and April, and I feel like there has been quite a turnover in staff. There might be differences in corporate culture due to the transition from Hyatt to Grand Prince, but the service and the hotel's dignity remain unchanged. As for breakfast at the restaurant "The Cafe," I feel like the content is slightly more economical. It was a bit disappointing that the thick grilled salmon and mackerel I used to enjoy at breakfast were replaced with just thin grilled salmon. It's a rather petty complaint, but I was actually looking forward to it. Also, a young service staff member, who seems to be from the Indian subcontinent, served us briskly. When I asked about the absence of the iced coffee button on the drink machine, they made it separately and brought it to the table. Their smile was very refreshing, and I felt a sense of hospitality that was more Japanese than the Japanese. I don't know if they plan to stay permanently, but if they return to their home country, the service spirit they've acquired will surely be an asset to them. Keep up the good work. I've written about this several times before, so I'll leave it at that for now...

    It was my first stay in about a year.

    I happened to find a great deal and decided to visit. Honestly, the last time I visited, I didn't have a good impression except for the club lounge, but this time, the amenities, service, and breakfast were much improved, and we talked about wanting to come back again as we left. I wished the skincare set for women was placed in the room from the beginning.

    Incident at Check-in

    While waiting in line at the check-in counter, an employee from Kenya approached me. Although I won't go into details due to rules, they kindly explained a way to check in faster without making me feel uncomfortable. I was impressed by how they not only considered my situation but also paid attention to other customers in line, seeking the best possible solution for everyone.

    I had a very enjoyable time.

    As always, the hospitality of the staff on the 28th floor is wonderful. It's a hotel I want to visit again.
