Highly satisfied.
Thank you very much for your thoughtful arrangements once again. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your Hotel after a long time. The night view from the Club Room was absolutely stunning, truly the best in Osaka. The dishes in the lounge were each delicious, and we could feel the dedication of the international staff members. Although neither my wife nor I drink alcohol, we greatly appreciated the variety of non-alcoholic menu options that were thoughtfully arranged for us. The hospitality provided by both the front desk and café staff was exceptional, allowing us to feel well cared for throughout our stay. Thanks to all of you, my wife and I were able to relax and refresh ourselves fully. While we are deeply grateful for all your kind considerations, if I may make one small request: it would be perfect if access to the fourth-floor bath could be included as part of the Club Room Plan benefits? In most hotels with Club Rooms within Osaka city, pools and large baths are generally accessible as part of such plans.

I have stayed at this Hotel several times. Unfortunately, the response from the male staff at the front desk was disappointing. Perhaps due to the Expo period, their service seemed less attentive than usual. As always, the Room was clean, and breakfast was delicious.

Staycation
I often stay at various hotels with lounges for a "hocance" experience. I love the club lounge at this hotel and keep coming back. The spacious and open lounge, along with the wonderful staff, always brings a smile to my face. Other guests also seem happy and cheerful, which makes me smile even more. It always makes me want to visit again! Thank you for upgrading me to a larger room this time, even though it was on a lower floor. On the checkout day, the lounge had air conditioning issues, so I had to use the lobby lounge on the first floor instead. I was planning to take photos of the view, so it was disappointing. The checkout line was very long as well. It would be great if check-in and check-out could be done in the club lounge for Club Floor guests. I have already made another reservation and hope that everything will be restored soon! Although I thought it would be fixed quickly, it seems like it's taking some time. When I called to ask about when it might reopen, they said they didn’t know. For now, I’ve canceled my nearest upcoming reservation. Hoping for a speedy reopening of the regular lounge...

A clean Hotel.
I stayed at the accommodation for the Expo. The shuttle bus to Cosmosquare Station was convenient. Since we were three people in one room, having the toilet, bath, shower, and sink all together was inconvenient. Parking costs 1,000 yen but becomes free if you register on the app. The 12:00 checkout time was appreciated.

For Expo Use
We stayed at the accommodation during summer vacation while visiting the Expo with our family. The facility was very clean, but the long line at the front desk felt a bit disappointing and not fitting for a luxury hotel. Additionally, when we inquired directly with staff about room service and shuttle service, we were repeatedly told to check the room guide in an unkind manner, which left us feeling unpleasant. Regarding the shuttle service, they didn’t even inform us that tickets were required (perhaps because it was handled by overseas staff?). It was also disappointing that we couldn’t extend our checkout time as Diamond members.

From Hyatt to Prince
After staying just before the Hyatt brand ended, this was my first stay after it was rebranded to Prince. I stayed on a floor where the elevator hall carpet and room interiors had been updated. With the Diamond benefit, while the room category remained the same, I was assigned a room on the top floor of the guest rooms. The room's atmosphere and the view from the window felt very nostalgic, just like during the Hyatt days. From the room's window, I could barely see the fireworks from the Expo venue, which was nice. The next day, I made a reservation through a different travel site and had a multiple night stay. Over the two days, I had three meals—breakfast, lunch, and dinner—at different restaurants. The stable quality of the food, which can be enjoyed at Prince Group restaurants across the whole country, was satisfying. However, one thing to note was that the broth for the breakfast udon and the meat and potatoes dish had a sour taste, as if soy sauce was mixed with ponzu. It didn’t suit my palate very well. For dinner, I used the Diamond benefit's 20% discount, which made it very cost-effective. This time, I stayed on a standard floor just as a place to rest during the Expo, but next time, I’d like to experience the Prince Club Floor.

Club Lounge access on the 28th floor is not available.
Stayed for two nights for the Expo. Reserved a Plan with access to the 28th-floor club lounge offering views of Osaka Bay for my child’s social studies, as they are preparing for junior high school entrance exams. However, at check-in, I was informed that the 28th-floor club lounge was unavailable due to air conditioning issues and was directed to use the first-floor lounge instead—no discount offered. While the quality of service and staff at the lounge were excellent, I would have appreciated prior notice about the unavailability of the 28th floor along with alternative options. Considering this is a high-priced Plan from Prince Hotel, it was very disappointing. Additionally, charging ¥1,000 per item for luggage storage after checkout is another downside. Will not revisit.

It was supposed to be a Club Room.
Plan Name: [With Breakfast, Limited Rooms] Club Room with Sky Club Lounge Pass at 100m Above Ground I made a reservation looking forward to enjoying the club lounge, but on the day of my stay, I was informed that the club lounge was unavailable due to an air conditioning failure. Since there was a 100% cancellation fee from three days prior and no changes were allowed, I could only be informed at check-in by the front desk to use the first-floor restaurant for breakfast. Was IKYU aware of this issue?

Service and facilities were disappointing.
This time, we reserved two rooms for a family trip. Overall, it felt like a Business Hotel or even below. The reasons are as follows: ① Room smelled of mildew Out of the two rooms we reserved, one had a mildew smell, so I called the front desk. They said they would send staff immediately, and after waiting, housekeeping arrived and said it didn’t smell bad but that they would spray Febreze. However, my family all complained about the smell and couldn’t sleep, so I went to the front desk and was assigned a replacement room. Since it was late at night, everything felt rushed and we couldn’t rest properly. It’s unbelievable to try to address such an issue with just Febreze. The response from housekeeping was terrible. ② In-room dining breakfast As we went to bed late, we wanted to relax in our room and ordered four Japanese-style breakfasts via in-room dining. First of all, drinks and fruits were brought without any covering or wrap on them, which allowed dust to get in—this showed poor service standards. Some items were covered while others weren’t; this inconsistency was puzzling. For example, salads were wrapped—why not wrap everything? The Japanese breakfast came with grated radish but no soy sauce; when I called about this issue, it seemed like they forgot it and brought it later without proper apology—just a casual “Oh yeah, sorry.” This was frustrating. Additionally, one miso soup bowl had its lid placed crookedly in such a way that it couldn’t be opened at all. When I requested an exchange for this bowl of soup, they brought another miso soup wrapped in plastic wrap with an attitude that felt condescending—claiming it’s “just an exchange.” It made no sense why they were upset when it was their mistake in improperly placing the lid. ③ Missing tofu listed on in-room dining menu The Japanese-style breakfast menu for in-room dining mentioned tofu; however there wasn’t any tofu included—not in the miso soup nor as a side dish. Based on these experiences above regarding service quality and facility standards (hardware), I found them both to be extremely disappointing at this hotel level overall!

Hotel not wheelchair-friendly
I had called in advance to confirm if the Hotel was wheelchair-friendly and free of steps, but unfortunately, the Room's bathroom could not accommodate a standard-sized wheelchair. This meant I had to go from my Room on the 22nd floor to the restroom on the basement level every time. It was a very disappointing experience. While I believe this is a good Hotel for able-bodied guests and do not wish to criticize everything, I would not recommend it for wheelchair users.

You may hear sounds from other rooms.
Stayed on the 14th floor, but could hear voices from the neighboring Room (though unclear) and footsteps from the floor above. The Room was disappointing and not up to the standard expected of a Grand Prince Hotel, making me want to request a change. Chose this Hotel for its proximity to the Expo, but it was a letdown. The ink in the provided pen had run out, indicating that basic amenities were not properly checked. Ordered ice cubes through Room service, but they were delivered without a lid. When I asked about it, I was told to use the lid from a similar container in my Room as they would take back their container. While exchanging containers is understandable, delivering ice without any cover seems unacceptable. This approach is something I've never experienced at any other Hotel before and can only describe it as disappointing. I hope more attention will be paid to such details in the future.

Some aspects feel less refined compared to when it was a Hyatt.
I stayed for one night during a three-day weekend. I have been using this hotel several times a year for work since it was the Hyatt Regency, but I feel that the following points have become less convenient: 1. The number of seats and frequency of shuttle buses to Osaka Station. 2. Reduced menu options and downgraded quality in the Club Lounge. Regarding point 1, there were so many users on both trips that even with all auxiliary seats filled, some people had to wait for the next bus. While the location is not particularly convenient from central Osaka, and especially now that it seems to be targeting more families as part of its rebranding under Hoshino Resorts, neither increasing bus size nor frequency feels like negligence. During late hours when buses run only once an hour, missing a full bus can be quite inconvenient. Additionally, while I stayed in a newly renovated room with higher rates this time, issues such as inconvenient water facilities (no temperature adjustment function; you need to turn separate hot and cold taps) and an odd layout where the shower booth and bathtub are separated by a sink remain unchanged—this was disappointing. For a twin room without separate toilet and bath areas—a long-standing inconvenience—I had hoped these would improve under new management with renovations but was let down. The Club Lounge also felt less special due to fewer alcohol options during cocktail time or lower-grade wine offerings compared to before. Even tea bags used in rooms have shifted from high-end foreign brands like Ronnefeldt used during Hyatt's era—making me question whether upgrading rooms is worth it anymore. On a positive note: breakfast has improved compared to Hyatt days with more Japanese dishes added along with kid-friendly buffet sections enhancing satisfaction levels significantly! Dinner at their newly opened sushi restaurant also impressed me greatly regarding both service & taste—I’d love returning there again! However overall pricing remains similar—or sometimes higher—to what it was under Hyatt yet front desk services now feel disorganized/sloppy often leaving guests seeking calmness frustrated instead despite being labeled "friendly." At minimum offering check-out services directly within club floors exclusively reserved by those booking them could better justify premium charges paid here versus competitors operating similarly priced hotels delivering superior experiences comparatively speaking today hopefully seeing improvements soon ahead!

Convenient for visiting the Expo.
Stayed for 2 nights with breakfast during the Expo. While I understand it’s a busy time, many staff seemed tired, with no greetings, no smiles, and a somewhat curt attitude towards guests, which dampened the excitement of the trip. At check-in, I was informed that the breakfast venue was on the basement floor, and the same note was written on the card key holder. However, there was nothing on the basement floor, and the actual breakfast venue was on the first floor. Although the stay wasn’t terrible, it didn’t feel pleasant, and I felt I might have chosen the wrong Hotel. However, on the morning of the second day, a tall gentleman at the breakfast venue greeted us with a wonderful smile and excellent service, which finally brought a smile to my face as well. Thank you for making the morning a pleasant one. Overall, I felt the experience didn’t quite match the price, but considering it was during the Expo, I convinced myself it was understandable.

For the Expo
I stayed at this Hotel for the Expo. The Room was spacious, and the Executive Floor was excellent. I chose this Plan because I had a great experience using it at Karuizawa Prince. The staff on the Executive Floor were especially outstanding. They were kind and made my stay very pleasant. Although I don't drink alcohol, I enjoyed a luxurious time with my family while having light snacks. Honestly, the time spent here was more satisfying than the Expo itself. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because one male staff member who handled my luggage beforehand was cold in his response, which made me wonder if choosing this Hotel was a mistake.

Spacious and comfortable Hotel
Spacious and luxurious, with polite and attentive front desk and staff, it was a pleasant Hotel. There’s hardly anything to complain about. If I had to mention something, it would be that the location of the convenience store in the basement was a bit hard to find, and there were few restaurants within the Hotel (perhaps because the Italian restaurant was closed during my visit). Overall, very satisfied!

Stayed for 2 nights during the Osaka Kansai Expo. Although I was at the Diamond Stage, there was no room upgrade due to the expo being held. However, I greatly appreciated being allowed a late check-out until 2 PM. The room's interior was very clean, and it is a hotel I would love to stay at again.

Is this the level of service you expect???
I have stayed here several times before, but this time was the worst. First, during check-in, there was a long line, and instead of increasing the number of front desk staff, it seemed to decrease. Each guest took a long time to process, making check-in very slow. Additionally, my room was not ready and I was moved to another room with a poor view. Previously, there used to be a letter from the manager in the room, but this time there wasn’t one, which made me feel that service quality has declined. Furthermore, even after calling the concierge and front desk multiple times via internal phone lines, I couldn’t get through and didn’t even receive a callback. Under Seibu Group management now—this level of service is unacceptable... I sincerely hope for improvements.

It was a nice and relaxing Hotel.
Although it's a bit away from the center of Osaka, it was a very nice Hotel where you can relax away from the hustle and bustle! We stayed here for the Osaka Kansai Expo, and it was conveniently close to Yumeshima and also near the Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan, making it an ideal Hotel for family trips. After spending hot days outside, returning to the Hotel with its lovely fragrance and quiet atmosphere helped us unwind and switch our mood. Shampoo, conditioner, body soap, etc., were provided; however, women's amenities needed to be requested by phone. This was slightly inconvenient when returning late at night. From the second stay onward, this wouldn't bother you as much once you're familiar with it; but if it's your first time staying here, it's good to keep in mind. This is about all that concerned me—everything else was excellent! After tiring days surrounded by crowds during daytime outings, we could truly relax at this calm Hotel. The bathroom had separate shower booths and bathtubs which were spacious and comfortable too. I would definitely love to stay here again when visiting Osaka!

Less than a 10-minute taxi ride from the Osaka Expo venue's West Gate, making the return trip easy and comfortable after a tiring day. The staff were very kind and attentive, which was wonderful. The Room was very clean and comfortable, and I appreciated the complimentary champagne. However, perhaps due to the number of international guests, I had to wait about 25 minutes to check in. Additionally, there were no amenities like lotion or emulsion provided. Although I requested them in advance, we only received one set (lotion, emulsion, face wash, makeup remover) for three women, which wasn’t enough so we had to purchase more at a convenience store. It would be great if lotion and emulsion could be made available as standard amenities.

A stunning view overlooking the cityscape of Osaka
During my previous stay at the Hyatt, I had a wonderful experience, so this time I stayed with my mother. The room was very clean and comfortable, and we were provided with a room on the top 27th floor overlooking the Osaka cityscape. The view was stunning, and my mother was very pleased. Although there was no upgrade, we were fully satisfied with our stay. On the other hand, regarding Diamond benefits, there was no explanation from the hotel during check-in, which left me slightly disappointed. Additionally, breakfast lacked any distinctive features and felt underwhelming given our expectations. It would have been a more satisfying stay if these services had been enhanced. Overall, it was a pleasant and comfortable stay that created great memories. Thank you very much!
