    Use for meetings

I booked a suite on the club floor for a meeting. Conversations in the club lounge (with guest fees paid), meetings in the club floor conference room, and discussions while enjoying room service in the suite. The wonderful space contributed to the success of the meeting. Thank you very much.

    A Relaxing Holiday

The room was thoroughly cleaned and very tidy, allowing for a comfortable stay. It would be even more comfortable if the bathtub and shower booth were a bit more spacious. The view from the balcony was enjoyable both day and night. We used in-room dining for meals. It would be nice to have an à la carte option for breakfast. The portions were quite large, so it would be great to have options like French toast. All the staff were courteous, allowing us to enjoy a relaxing and pleasant holiday.

A hotel where you can relax

I always use this place whenever I stay in Yokohama. Once I enter the room, I feel like relaxing. I always look forward to sitting on the chair on the balcony and enjoying the night view. I also look forward to breakfast every time. If I had to mention one thing, this time I was slightly bothered by the smell of the carpet in the hallway.

It feels as comfortable as home.

Recently, whenever I visit the Kanto area, I always stay here. I recommend the limousine bus for access from Haneda. It makes heavy luggage manageable and you don't have to worry about the rain! If available, I request a high-floor Luxury Harbor King Park View room. You can see the Ferris wheel on the left and have a panoramic view of the Minato Mirai cityscape, and the room layout is calming. I am grateful for the staff who are always kind and provide pleasant service. I bring my own makeup mirror because I like to do my makeup in a bright room, but I heard that if I request it, they will bring one to the room, so I plan to ask for it next time. Also, there are a few wooden hangers, but when I asked if there were any soft ones for women, I was told they are not available in standard rooms. However, if there are spares in higher-grade rooms, they would lend them to me. I always bring about two hangers with me. I would be happy if there were hangers for sweaters and dresses in the standard rooms as well. I have already made my next reservation. Looking forward to staying again.

It was the best hotel except for one thing.

I stayed for a friend's birthday. The consideration of being guided to a separate seat during the Bay Club Floor check-in so that my friend wouldn't know the amount was wonderful. The macarons we ate right after check-in were also delicious. However, it was a bit disappointing that the pudding-like container that was brought to us ran out quickly and wasn't replenished. There was a wide variety of drinks, and the atmosphere was comfortable. It was nice that cocktails were made on the spot during bar time. The room was spacious, very clean, and I could spend time quietly without hearing any noise from the surrounding rooms. The only disappointment was when I called room service and asked, "Can I have some salt?" I was told, "Room service is busy, and it will take more than 30 minutes." I understand waiting for food, especially on the Bay Club Floor, but I honestly thought, does it really take that long just to get some salt? I was paying more than double the price of a regular room, and even a simple request for salt was delayed. That was very disappointing. Other than that, the convenience of being directly connected to the station was great, the room was spacious, and since the bath and shower room were separate, I could fill the tub and relax. I would like to use it again when I visit Yokohama.

    The breakfast was very delicious.

I think it varies by room, but the view is very nice if you are on the ocean side. Also, I think the food at the hotel is very delicious. The scenery was wonderful, and I was taking video recordings every 1 to 1.5 hours after checking in. I was very satisfied with the breakfast at the restaurant. There was a wide variety. I especially enjoyed the Chinese porridge, the chef's omelet with truffle sauce, and the sweet potato pie from Maison Kayser's bread. It was my first time experiencing a machine that makes pancakes, and they were delicious. I would like to visit again. Thank you very much.

Stayed with my mother in her 80s

The room had a balcony. The room was clean, and although it was on a lower floor, it had a nice view where you could feel Minato Mirai. The soundproofing was well done, so once the window was closed, the outside noise was not a concern. I appreciated the environmentally conscious efforts, such as not providing bottled water and the amenities. You need to fetch water before changing into pajamas. I didn't mind that the shower booth and bathtub were separate, but I was concerned for my 80-year-old mother, making sure to explain how to use the shower and cautioning her not to slip when moving to the bathtub. A bathtub with a washing area would be ideal. I stayed here over 20 years ago, and I think it's wonderful that they have maintained such a clean environment. I would love to stay again.

    I stay here several ...

I stay here several times a year. Thank you always for your thoughtful consideration regarding the room. This time, the room I stayed in had a musty smell, so I turned on the air purifier and opened the door to the balcony for ventilation. When I went out and returned, the smell was almost gone, but I couldn't figure out the cause. Also, at some point, the slippers provided for the room have been placed directly on the floor, which I find questionable. I feel it would be better to have a rack to hang the slippers or to place them in a drawer on a shelf inside the closet. I intended to discuss this during checkout, but it seems many of the staff have changed, and I wasn't sure who to talk to, so I decided to write it here.

    I had an enjoyable stay.

I used to stay here several times about 20 years ago, so I chose it again this time to rejuvenate myself. The room is clean, but it somehow felt a bit old. It was labeled as pajamas, so I assumed it was a separate type and didn't bring any loungewear, so I ended up buying some nearby. Recently, nightwear is often shown in photos, but since it wasn't, I should have checked. Being close to the station, I thoroughly enjoyed shopping and dining at restaurants.

Please note that the bed is small.

I booked a deluxe twin. The room was spacious, and I could log into Netflix on the TV. I was very pleased with the well-equipped amenities. The table and chair were at a perfect height for working, which was convenient. There was a separate toilet and shower from the bathtub, which was also very nice. However, the bed was small, and even though I am petite at 156 cm and usually sleep alone in a semi-double at home, I fell off once. Both the width and length were small, so taller people might find their feet sticking out. I stayed for a total of five nights, so I gradually got used to it, but I think it's something to be aware of.

    Weekday Bay Club Floor

This time, I stayed on the Bay Club Floor on a weekday in September. Upon arrival, I was immediately guided to the club lounge, and the check-in process was very smooth. During tea time and cocktail time, there was just the right variety of drinks and light snacks, the atmosphere was calm, the view was amazing, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The room had a city view, but I could see a bit of the sea, so the view wasn't as bad as I had expected. I was pleasantly surprised to find a ReFa hairdryer in the bathroom. However, I was concerned that the bed and pillows were hard, and the pajamas were not a separate type, so I couldn't sleep well. Since it was a weekday, breakfast was at Tosca on the lobby floor. When I went around 7:50, several groups were already waiting, and the lobby was bustling with people standing and waiting. As a result, I wandered around not knowing who had the waiting list. I was told the wait time would be about 10 minutes, but it was actually a 20-minute wait, and it was hard to hear when my number was called. Also, the buffet was arranged around the entrance, so there was a mix of people entering and exiting, staff, and those using the buffet, which made the flow of movement feel poor. The impression of the club lounge the previous day was so good that the stark contrast with breakfast was disappointing. At check-in, the family next to me had changed their breakfast to room service, and I thought I should have done the same.

    First club lounge experience

Perhaps because it was a weekday, the lounge wasn't very crowded, and I was able to relax comfortably. The room was spacious, and the view was decent. Although the selection during tea time and cocktail time wasn't extensive, I thought the quality was high. The staff made cocktails for us, and they were very delicious. I will use this place again if I have the opportunity.

Multiple Night Stay? Bed & Pillow Concerns?

Is this the newest hotel near Minatomirai Station? Both the InterContinental and Royal Park have become a bit dated. The location is convenient, close to the station with shopping arcades nearby, so you won’t feel any inconvenience. You can even shop without getting wet on rainy days. There’s also a clinic nearby that’s open on weekends. I stayed for a Multiple Night Stay as part of my preliminary visit, but I found the entrance area quite dimly lit. The lobby on the second floor also feels dark—not in an elegant way but more like an outdated design choice. If luxury isn’t your priority, this might be fine, but they could improve by consulting lighting experts. In contrast, while there’s nothing particularly unique about the InterContinental's design, its lobby is bright and airy with large windows and an open atrium that gives it a healthy resort-like atmosphere. Since structural changes aren’t feasible here, better lighting could make all the difference. Now onto the Room itself: I was surprised by how few security floors there are—it made me feel uneasy about safety standards here (though perhaps it makes certain services easier to access). The Room overall is spacious; it has deep bathtubs and even standard Rooms come with shower booths and wide toilets. However, I wasn’t impressed with the bed comfort or pillows—they didn’t suit my preferences at all—but having a balcony was refreshing! These days many hotels offer excellent beds and mattresses; sleep quality is crucial for guests staying multiple nights since they tend to compare it to their own beds at home. Breakfast offers a decent variety of dishes but gets repetitive if you’re staying for several days in a row—I’m planning another 5-night stay soon and am already concerned about this monotony! Unfortunately, being built behind InterContinental means views aren’t great either—the InterContinental blocks much of it. The staff tries hard to provide good service which I appreciate; however, their level doesn’t quite reach top-tier standards—though perhaps that’s acceptable given we’re in Yokohama rather than Tokyo. I sincerely hope breakfast menus will vary during my upcoming 5-night stay over New Year’s Eve—please consider making some changes! Despite these critiques—and while Tokyo hotels are becoming increasingly expensive—Yokohama still offers reasonable prices which bring peace of mind when booking accommodations here during busy seasons like December holidays or extended stays such as Multiple Night Stays!

I regret not having stayed here before.

I had the preconceived notion that it was an old hotel, but the room was spacious and clean, the breakfast restaurant had a great view, and the menu was extensive, so I was very satisfied. With such affordable accommodation rates, I will definitely visit again.

    The bath is the worst.

The room was good, but - The shower door is made of glass, and water leaks through the gaps when taking a shower. - The toilet door is also glass, so you can hear the toilet sounds even from the bed. - If you try to wash your body in the bathtub, the washroom gets soaking wet. Due to these reasons, the sanitary space is terrible. They might have tried to create a luxurious feel, but it's the worst design. I don't think I'll stay here again.

Even though it was pouring rain, I had a great time.

At the end of the children's summer vacation, it is customary for us to visit Hakkeijima Sea Paradise and stay at a hotel on the way back. This year, Typhoon No. 10 made landfall, and rain was forecasted for the Kanto region, but since our accommodation was at Bay Tokyu, we decided to go ahead with our plans. We were caught in the rain at Sea Paradise, and after checking in, it rained quite heavily until the next day, but the room was comfortable, and we were as satisfied as always. Come to think of it, whenever we stay here, we usually enjoy the view from the room, have meals we brought with us, take a walk around Minato Mirai the next day, and then return to our home in Tokyo. The weather might not have mattered much. Thank you for taking care of us again this time.

    Very good

Directly connected to Minatomirai Station, you can access many restaurants without going outside, and the Ferris wheel can be seen up close from the park view balcony, making it seem like an excellent location. I was grateful that they could store my luggage even after check-out. I would like to stay again if I have the opportunity.

    I had a comfortable stay.

I had booked a city view room, but since a sea view room was available, I was upgraded to a sea view room with a balcony. The room was spacious and very comfortable. Thank you very much.

    I like the view.

I have stayed here countless times. In recent years, attractive hotels like the Westin and Kahala have opened in Minato Mirai, but I still choose the park view here every time I visit Yokohama because of the view from the room. I work hard every day looking forward to spending Yokohama nights, being soothed by the illuminated Ferris wheel until midnight and gazing at the Bay Bridge. I look forward to returning home and staying here again for my next trip to Yokohama. I would like to stay in a room with lounge access, but having minors with me reduces the enjoyment. I would be happy if those under 18 could also enjoy cocktail time (with entry permission, of course, no alcohol). I look forward to my next stay.

    Consistent excellence!

It had been about a year since my last stay, and once again, I had a consistently wonderful experience! I booked two rooms for my parents and myself, and at check-in, a female concierge guided us to a different desk, allowing us to complete the process quickly. This was a great help as it allowed my tired parents to rest sooner. Additionally, as it was my mother's birthday celebration, a gentleman at the desk gave us a cute gift and arranged for our rooms to be connected (which was incredibly convenient and helpful!). From the start, our stay was pleasant and smooth. Every time, I am impressed by the spaciousness of the rooms, the calm and elegant decor, the cleanliness, and the fantastic view of the sea and Ferris wheel right outside the window! No matter how many times I visit, the moment I enter the room, my heart feels liberated. This time, the TV had been upgraded to include Netflix (!), making the stay even more comfortable. For breakfast, we dined at the hotel's Summer House? (as the restaurant was fully booked) for the first time, and the women serving us were impressively efficient. In many hotels, I often notice the breakfast buffet staff chatting or having small talk in the back, which sometimes makes me feel uneasy. However, here, the staff moved quietly and served beautifully, with almost no small talk, allowing us to enjoy our meal without stress, which was very pleasant. I also left something in the room safe, but when I contacted them later, their response was extremely courteous, for which I am grateful. Everything is so comfortably arranged that I can truly relax, and there is also a sense of freedom typical of Minato Mirai. This hotel never fails to meet my expectations. I hope to visit again next time, so please take care of us then.

    The view is amazing.

This was my second stay, and this time I stayed on an upper floor with lounge access with my sister. We had a relaxing check-in at the lounge, and the view of the Ferris wheel from the room's bath was spectacular, making us feel like we were in a dream. I definitely want to come again next time with my mother. It was excellent.

    Wedding anniversary

This was my first time staying at the Bay Hotel. I chose the Luxury Harbor King room, prioritizing the view and atmosphere. The view from above is simply breathtaking! It's an indescribable feeling. The sunrise was beautiful, and we were able to spend a luxurious anniversary, which made my wife happy. I was also delighted with the surprise commemorative photo taken during our meal. The room and the staff's service are both excellent at this hotel.
