Thank you very much for such a wonderful stay.At check-in, the front desk staff kindly and thoroughly explained the in-house Facilities and services, which allowed us to start our stay with complete peace of mind.My wife has a shellfish allergy, and we are truly grateful that the restaurant’s head chef thoughtfully adjusted the menu for us. In particular, dinner on the second night was even more outstanding than the first, and we were deeply moved by the extra care put into each dish.While we were taking photos inside the property, a seasoned and very kind staff member noticed us and spoke to us. They gladly took photos for us, thanks to which we were able to keep wonderful memories of our trip.We are foreigners and can hardly speak Japanese. Even so, throughout our stay we received warm, attentive service that made us forget any language barrier.This stay reminded me once again of what I felt when I first visited a Japanese Ryokan years ago: uniquely Japanese hospitality that truly cherishes travelers and makes them feel as safe and comfortable as if they were at home.It is truly an excellent Ryokan.We sincerely appreciate the heartfelt hospitality of all the staff.We would definitely love to visit again.Thank you again for such a wonderful time.
saunders 9/5/2026This was my second stay. I thought it was amazing last time, but this time was even better!!The building is very clean, and everything is spotless wherever you look. The eggplant soup at dinner was shockingly delicious!! The crispy grilled tilefish is unbelievably good no matter how many times I have it.All the staff were smiling, kind, and attentive. We really appreciated all the thoughtful help during both dinner and breakfast. On our way out, a gentleman who seemed to be the manager was also very helpful—I can’t thank you enough.This is an Accommodation I can recommend to everyone. Thank you very much. We’ll be back again.

Hotel building
The main building of the Hotel, a 10-story structure with 38 rooms, features a distinctive gable-style roof. All rooms offer a panoramic lake view through large windows. The main building provides six types of accommodations to suit various travel styles, including the spacious Moderate Twin rooms with 50 square meters including a terrace, and rooms with open-air baths featuring Onsen from a private source, exceeding 125 square meters.
Villa
The glamping area spread across the expansive Hotel grounds features 12 villa units, each equipped with an open deck terrace, a living room, a bedroom, and a private Onsen open-air bath sourced from a natural spring. At the iconic firepit lounge of the area, guests can enjoy a heartwarming time by gazing at the enchanting flames flickering in the twilight, sipping warm beverages, or marveling at the star-filled sky while feeling the natural beauty of Lake Biwa up close. Out of the 12 villas, 9 are dog-friendly, allowing guests to stay with their beloved canine companions. A dog run has also been provided to ensure that your cherished family member can play freely.
