  • Celebrating my wife's birthday.

    We stayed here for my wife’s birthday. The service, meals, and Onsen were all excellent, and she was very satisfied. The view from the Room was great, but we were a little concerned that our Room could be seen from the balcony diagonally across. Overall, we felt it was a great-value Accommodation. We would like to stay again.

In July 2020, the new Onsen bathhouse Forest SPA "泉-IZUMI-" and "響-HIBIKI-" opened.

In July 2020, the Onsen large public bath on the 6th-floor spa floor of the Hotel was reopened as the forest SPA "IZUMI" and "HIBIKI," allowing guests to feel the greenery of the nationally designated historic site "Mikuma Mountain" up close. The newly renovated large public bath features large windows that open up to the scenery, offering an open-air environment where the trees of Mikuma Mountain spread out before your eyes. Guests can enjoy the Onsen while being enveloped by the delightful chirping of birds and the fresh scent of greenery, creating a forest bathing experience. In addition to the standard depth, the bath also includes a slightly deeper area of approximately 90 cm, allowing for a luxurious soak up to the shoulders. Sauna Facilities have also been newly installed for both men and women, providing an even more relaxing space to fully enjoy your bathing experience.

Yumekaiyu Awajishima offers two main Onsen experiences: the "Mori no SPA" on the 6th floor of the main building, which was newly renovated and reopened in July 2020, and the detached spa "Kaon no Mori." "Mori no SPA" is surrounded by the vibrant greenery of Mikuma Mountain, allowing guests to enjoy a forest bathing atmosphere. It features the new Onsen bathing areas "IZUMI" and "HIBIKI," as well as private open-air baths, a sea-view relaxation lounge, and other well-equipped Facilities. At the detached spa "Kaon no Mori," overlooking the beautiful Ohama Beach with its white sand and green pines, guests can enjoy a unique experience, such as bathing while feeling the sound of the waves or admiring the fantastical water mirror illuminated at night. Take your time and indulge in the two Onsen journeys.
