    Onsen

    Stayed for my child's exam and to accompany them. To avoid disturbing my child studying in the room before the exam, we used the onsen and had a meaningful time together. We avoided going out as we were concerned about catching an illness, even the day before. It would have been perfect if the gym or pool were available, but unfortunately, they were under maintenance during our stay. However, the room was clean, and the staff were polite and made our stay pleasant. For those visiting for sightseeing, it might be challenging to fully utilize the hotel's facilities; this accommodation seems more suited for a hotel stay experience.

    The bath is excellent.

    I always look forward to visiting with my wife to enjoy the Onsen. It warms us from the core of our bodies. This time, we didn't have dinner at the Hotel and instead dined at a nearby restaurant. However, changing from breakfast to a lunch buffet was the right choice (as we had plenty of time). The variety was rich, luxurious, and delicious. Since it's within an hour's drive from home, we'll visit again—with a Hotel dinner included for special occasions...

    Breakfast had a wait time of over an hour, which was difficult.

    The Onsen is very good, and the guest room and amenities are wonderful. The breakfast venue is also lovely, and the buffet selection is excellent. However, I had to wait for over an hour at a different location for breakfast, during which I couldn't return to my room and had to wait in a noisy area, which was unsettling. I've rarely experienced such long waits before, so I thought I'd avoid going during busy times. It felt like more than an hour of my precious time during the hotel stay was wasted, which is disappointing. I also had to wait at checkout, making me anxious about missing my Shinkansen train time. While club floor users have separate check-in services, they have to wait similarly at checkout. I would like to use it again during off-peak periods rather than when it's crowded like during holidays.

    Endless waiting

    When I went to the breakfast buffet, I was given a number tag and had to wait in the waiting room for nearly an hour. Despite knowing the number of guests, no prior arrangements were made. Additionally, there were not enough washing booths in the large public bath, resulting in the disappointing service of having to wait naked in the cold.

    I stayed in the Japanese Suite. The room was clean and the open-air bath was excellent. I made a reservation with a breakfast buffet, but there was a wait of over 30 groups for about an hour. Even when it was our turn, there were still more than 30 groups waiting. I'm not sure how many people had plans with breakfast included, but it felt like it exceeded capacity. That part was a bit disappointing. Also, if I may add, it would have been nice if the room could be set to be a little brighter.

    Staycation with Daughter

    I visited here with my daughter for a staycation. We stayed on the club floor, so there were special yukatas and a direct elevator to the Onsen, which was very convenient. The Onsen water was also very good. The Wifi in the Room didn't work initially, but it was promptly addressed, which I appreciated. The bed in the Room was also comfortable. While staying here, we even talked about when we would come next because it was so comfortable. It was very relaxing and healing. Thank you very much.

    The spa is excellent.

    This is my second stay. Last time, the way to the spa was a bit complicated, so this time I chose the spa floor. It was a great decision. I could go to the spa directly in my yukata and slippers using the direct elevator, and enjoyed Awaji Island milk, Awaji Island coffee milk, and Yakult at the post-bath area. They were delicious. The spa was also very pleasant, and I want to go again soon! The black bean natto served at breakfast was very delicious.

    Regular Stays

    Whenever I go to Kobe, I always stay here. I'm not a card member, but I have no complaints about the facilities, meals, and service here. Recommended points: ① You can park your car for 24 hours. ② Great for families, providing peace of mind for households with children. Thank you for always being considerate. ③ There are many public and leisure facilities around the hotel where children can play. ④ The large public bath and Onsen are more than sufficient. ⑤ The cleanliness of the room. There are many other reasons, but my children are happy with this hotel, so there's no room to choose another hotel in Kobe. Haha.

    The bath was much better than expected. Also, the 24-hour free parking was appreciated, and we took the train to Kobe city after checking out.

    It's a favorite.

    I changed rooms for a multiple night stay. Both were good. I would like to use it again. The Onsen here is the best in the area.

    It was a sudden Reservation, but upon checking in and entering the Room, the Hotel staff delivered a message card and chocolates from the manager for our wedding anniversary. At the restaurant for dinner, we also received a dessert plate as a gift, and I was delighted by everyone's thoughtfulness. Thank you very much.

    Repeat visit available

    It was my first time experiencing an Onsen at a Hotel, and it was very enjoyable. Both the open-air bath and the indoor bath were at just the right temperature, warming me to the core. In recent years, there have been concerns about foreign visitors' bath etiquette, but when I visited, it was mostly Japanese guests, so I could use it without any stress. However, the changing area was quite humid, and after bathing, it was too hot, making it difficult to use the hairdryer. Even though it was winter, I felt like a fan would have been helpful. This time, I stayed in a Room with access to the club lounge, but I felt that it might not be necessary next time. In particular, I thought the quality of the one-plate hors d'oeuvres was low. On the other hand, the French dinner was excellent. I especially enjoyed the soup and dessert, which matched my taste perfectly. Breakfast was not crowded, allowing me to enjoy it leisurely, and the content was also good. However, it was too cold, so I recommend taking measures against the cold, such as wearing Heattech. Overall, except for the lounge, I was satisfied and would definitely like to visit again.

    I always use it and have a good overall impression, but...

    1 point: I ordered a cake, but I was told that it couldn't be accepted because the reception was 4 days in advance, and today is 3 days in advance. The way this was communicated felt very condescending, forceful, and overly polite in a rude way. Couldn't it have been expressed in a slightly more apologetic manner? 2 points: Although the IKYU Diamond Member benefits were included, I was told at checkout that the Room had been upgraded afterward. However, I had applied for that Room from the beginning. This is my favorite Hotel, so I will use it again.

    Attracted to the Onsen

    Stayed on the club floor after a long time. The food and beverage service on the club floor is not satisfactory, but I like high floors, so it can't be helped. Having a genuine Onsen in the Hotel is indeed attractive. The staff's hospitality is impeccable as expected, with no flaws.

    I was able to relax.

    We stayed on the 19th floor, room 1919. We also enjoyed a private bath for a relaxing hour. The temperature and water were perfect. We had a delicious breakfast buffet. Thank you for taking care of us.

    A dream-like time

    Since it's nearby, I've used it multiple times. As it's a popular Hotel, the club lounge has been too crowded to use during recent stays, but this time I was lucky enough to have space and could use it. I relaxed in the lounge, took it easy in the waiting area of the large bath, and soaked in the Onsen with a pleasantly warm temperature, allowing me to spend a blissful and relaxing time once again. I used the Kobe Grill for the first time, and it also had a very nice atmosphere. The dishes were delicately yet robustly flavored and very delicious. I truly believe this Hotel provides a dream-like experience. However, as always, the breakfast crowding is an issue. If such wait times have become the norm during busy periods, it would be good to implement some measures, at least during peak times. This sentiment is echoed in other Reviews, and even my companion, who used the Hotel for the first time, shared the same opinion. It's something everyone thinks about, so why not address it? If the breakfast issue is resolved, it would become an even better Hotel, but I still plan to use it for a refreshing break when I'm tired. Thank you as always.

    Extremely Crowded Breakfast Buffet

    Service and hospitality that don't seem like Sheraton. The Room was cleaned, but the wallpaper was peeling in places and looked worn out. Breakfast was only available at the buffet restaurant, with no other options. Perhaps due to bad timing, we received a ticket and waited for an hour in a crowded separate room. Even when we finally got in, it was extremely crowded inside, making me truly disappointed and questioning if this was really a Sheraton.

    Last time, I used it for the first time in a quarter of a century and found it surprisingly comfortable, so I quickly repeated my stay. In this price range, just having a club lounge is a bonus. My main attraction is the onsen facility. I don't find onsen ryokan very appealing, but having a well-equipped onsen facility and a relaxation area within a casual city hotel like this is enjoyable. The dedicated elevator allowing you to move around in a yukata is a big plus. There are many hotels with club lounges in the Kansai area now, but I think this is a significant differentiator. And, I've made another reservation for next time (laughs).

    Onsen is the best

    I have stayed here over a dozen times and have always been satisfied, but this time the temperature adjustment of the onsen was the best ever. I realized once again that the onsen is the main attraction here.

    This time, I stayed in a corner room. It was spacious with windows in two directions, providing a very open and relaxing atmosphere. While being in the city, you can fully enjoy authentic Onsen at this Hotel. I will use it again.

    I use it every year at the beginning of the year.

    Onsen, amenities, renovated rooms, cuisine, lounge, private onsen, and above all, the accommodation fee, are just right for us to use. Every year I think, although it's a bit of a hassle, you have to change out of the onsen yukata for meals and the lounge. Well, it's a hotel, so it can't be helped. Is it just my imagination? This year, there seemed to be more hotel staff, and the response was quick. Also, the staff who assisted us at the private onsen were very kind, thank you very much. Were they not Japanese? It was very helpful. Thank you.

    This time, since it was New Year's, there was no room upgrade, and both the club lounge and spa floor were full, making it inconvenient to move around in yukata. The Chinese course was satisfying. The lobster chili and especially the Peking duck were the best I've ever had. However, the breakfast felt like it had fewer items than usual, which was a bit disappointing. Also, my partner has a Marriott Bonvoy card, and I wonder if their service is more generous than IKYU?

    The Onsen was great.

    The spring quality was brown and felt similar to Arima Onsen. My skin felt great the next day. The sauna had towel-like mats that could be replaced after each use, which was hygienic. The buffet's zenzai and mozuku were delicious. The Awaji Island milk after the bath was also tasty.

    The location is exce...

    The location is excellent, and being able to get there without getting wet in the rain is the best. The quality of the onsen water is good, making you want to enter it repeatedly. Other amenities are also well-equipped, with basically no complaints. However, the meals are average. The rice at breakfast is dry, and the omelet is hard, different from what I expected. The French toast lacks fluffiness and has no surprising taste. The club floor hors d'oeuvres are also ordinary. However, the lineup of alcohol is more extensive than expected, which I personally liked. I chose a dinner-included plan, which was at a passing level. Considering the price, I thought it was a very well-made plan. The cost performance is very high, so I would like to stay again.
