    The bath was excellent!

    The quality of the hot spring water was excellent, and it helped relieve my travel fatigue. Since I stayed for two nights, I changed the morning meal to lunch on the first day and enjoyed both breakfast and lunch on the second day. The meals were also delicious. I would love to stay at this accommodation again if I have the chance. Thank you for your hospitality.

    Excellent! But the location is...

    The property features an Onsen, gym, and pool. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the breakfast is delicious. However, access from Shin-Kobe Station via Shinkansen is very inconvenient. If more buses were available, I would love to stay again.

    The worst Hotel stay ever.

    I stayed here the night before a golf outing. The appeal of enjoying an onsen in Kobe, the Sheraton brand, free parking, and a variety-filled breakfast buffet made me look forward to my stay. However, my experience at this hotel was disappointing from start to finish. I couldn’t find the parking lot and had to go all the way up to the front desk on the second floor because there was no bellboy at the entrance. Why is there no bellboy? I ended up carrying large luggage from the underground parking lot by myself. After dining out, I headed to enjoy the onsen I had been looking forward to. At check-in, I was told that everything would be provided in the bath area and that it was fine to go empty-handed. However, when I arrived with only a change of underwear as instructed, there were only towels and amenities available—no yukata in sight. Reluctantly, I returned to my room wearing clothes I'd worn all day. When I asked at reception about this issue later, they informed me that yukatas are only provided for rooms above certain floors (12th floor or higher). While differentiating room amenities like bathrobes is understandable for premium rooms, not providing basic loungewear felt discriminatory and unpleasant. The amenities were also disappointing overall—cheap shampoo and skincare products reminiscent of those found in day-use onsens rather than what you’d expect from a high-end hotel left an impression of poor quality. Additionally, my room’s hairdryer had such weak airflow that drying took forever; it felt inadequate for use altogether! To make matters worse: signs stated guests could ONLY use hairdryers inside bathroom areas—not elsewhere within their private space—which seemed overly restrictive & inconsiderate towards guest preferences/comforts. But perhaps most frustratingly—the breakfast experience turned out disastrous! Due overcrowding issues during peak hours meant being directed toward waiting zones resembling sports bars instead dining halls themselves initially promised upon booking arrangements made prior arrival date(s). Despite patiently waiting over hour-long periods without updates regarding table availability status whatsoever eventually forced abandoning plans entirely due impending departure schedules looming closer minute-by-minute intervals ticking away rapidly unnoticed amidst chaotic surroundings filled confusion frustration alike among fellow patrons similarly affected circumstances beyond control management staff seemingly overwhelmed unprepared handle situations effectively efficiently manner expected reputable establishments operating under globally recognized branding standards synonymous excellence hospitality industry worldwide reputation tarnished irreparably single instance negligence oversight repeated occurrences documented previous reviews dating back August last year unresolved     Although I occasionally use the dining services, it had been a while since my last stay, but once again, I had a comfortable experience. I think it is a good hotel. However, having a shuttle bus from Sannomiya would make it even better.

    Customer Service

    I have stayed here multiple times, but this time the customer service was the most disappointing. We had two rooms, but one of them often lacked amenities that were present in the other (such as toiletries, glasses, bathrobes). If we had only booked one room, we might not have noticed. It was difficult to get through when calling to request missing items, and even when I did reach someone, it took a very long time for them to arrive. The pajamas provided had extremely tight elastic bands; I contacted the front desk at midnight about this issue but received no response. As a result, I had no choice but to sleep without pajama bottoms. Additionally, since the room phones do not display room numbers, it was inconvenient to communicate between our two rooms. On a positive note, the Chinese restaurant on the second floor and breakfast at the garden café were both delicious with excellent service.

    Find urban relaxation in nearby Kobe

    I used this Onsen near Osaka for relaxation with my partner. The Room with spa access was very convenient, well equipped, and made everything easy. The Onsen temperature was just right, and after bathing I could relax with a massage, drinks, and even check my blood pressure. The buffet had a well-designed menu that didn’t get boring, and the seasoning was good too. I could switch to lunch and take it easy until check-out. However, the view from the Room was poor and the windows couldn’t be opened, so it felt a bit cramped. Overall it was very good, and next time I’m considering a Plan that includes lounge access. A 12:00 check-out is greatly appreciated. I think I will return. Thank you again in advance.

    The bath is exceptional.

    I have stayed here several times, and this time I enjoyed Chinese cuisine for dinner. Although I am not fond of meat, they kindly accommodated a menu change. The Room had a great view and was very comfortable.

    Direct access to the spa floor is highly recommended.

    I visited with low expectations due to many critical reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised and had a very satisfying stay. Check-in was handled at the dedicated counter for the club floor, and perhaps because it was a weekday, there was no waiting time at the breakfast restaurant. The Onsen was also not crowded, making it easy to enjoy. At the lounge exclusively for the spa-connected floor, I appreciated being able to have milk after bathing. There are some guests who use the club lounge like an all-you-can-drink izakaya. While only one plate of hors d'oeuvres is provided, it's sufficient as an aperitif. Since the club floor is reasonably priced, I recommend having dinner at a restaurant instead.

    Choosing the preferr...

    Choosing the preferred floor was the right decision! The night view from the Room was beautiful, and the direct elevator to the Onsen floor was very convenient. The bed was spacious and comfortable. Additionally, the buffet had a wide variety of dishes, which was very satisfying.

    Conveniently located...

    Conveniently located from home, offering great views, a resort-like atmosphere, and enjoyable Onsen facilities, we use this accommodation several times a year. This time, we stayed as a group of three—my wife, her mother, and myself—to celebrate my mother-in-law's birthday. She seemed to enjoy the Onsen experience as well, allowing us to show our gratitude to her. The freshly grilled shishamo at breakfast was delicious. It was also nice to see the manager who resembles Eddie Jones looking well. With rising accommodation costs due to increasing inbound tourism, I hope the prices here remain reasonable so we can continue visiting in the future.

    A city Hotel in the heart of Kobe with a large Onsen bath.

    2 nights: December 28th to 30th. Every year at the end of the year, it has been a tradition for our family—my wife and I along with our two daughters' families from Tokyo—to gather at Menard Aoyama Resort in Mie Prefecture. This year, we chose this Hotel because when we stayed at Sheraton Kagoshima, we enjoyed the large public bath and open-air bath there. Since this is also a Sheraton, we decided on it and were very satisfied with the Onsen large public bath here as well. This year, I stayed with my daughter (just three of us), as everyone else joined us a few days later. There are many nice shops in the surrounding area. The night view from the Club Lounge is beautiful. However, there are some points I'd like to mention: The hors d'oeuvres in the Club Lounge were lacking variety; maintenance of the floor in the large public bath was insufficient—it hurt walking barefoot; and water flow time from spouts was too short. Living in Nara makes access convenient for us, and nearby stores—especially high-end supermarkets similar to Seijo Ishii—are excellent. We plan to use this Hotel every New Year’s holiday moving forward!

    Onsen

    Stayed for my child's exam and to accompany them. To avoid disturbing my child studying in the room before the exam, we used the onsen and had a meaningful time together. We avoided going out as we were concerned about catching an illness, even the day before. It would have been perfect if the gym or pool were available, but unfortunately, they were under maintenance during our stay. However, the room was clean, and the staff were polite and made our stay pleasant. For those visiting for sightseeing, it might be challenging to fully utilize the hotel's facilities; this accommodation seems more suited for a hotel stay experience.

    The bath is excellent.

    I always look forward to visiting with my wife to enjoy the Onsen. It warms us from the core of our bodies. This time, we didn't have dinner at the Hotel and instead dined at a nearby restaurant. However, changing from breakfast to a lunch buffet was the right choice (as we had plenty of time). The variety was rich, luxurious, and delicious. Since it's within an hour's drive from home, we'll visit again—with a Hotel dinner included for special occasions...

    Breakfast had a wait time of over an hour, which was difficult.

    The Onsen is very good, and the guest room and amenities are wonderful. The breakfast venue is also lovely, and the buffet selection is excellent. However, I had to wait for over an hour at a different location for breakfast, during which I couldn't return to my room and had to wait in a noisy area, which was unsettling. I've rarely experienced such long waits before, so I thought I'd avoid going during busy times. It felt like more than an hour of my precious time during the hotel stay was wasted, which is disappointing. I also had to wait at checkout, making me anxious about missing my Shinkansen train time. While club floor users have separate check-in services, they have to wait similarly at checkout. I would like to use it again during off-peak periods rather than when it's crowded like during holidays.

    Endless waiting

    When I went to the breakfast buffet, I was given a number tag and had to wait in the waiting room for nearly an hour. Despite knowing the number of guests, no prior arrangements were made. Additionally, there were not enough washing booths in the large public bath, resulting in the disappointing service of having to wait naked in the cold.

    I stayed in the Japanese Suite. The room was clean and the open-air bath was excellent. I made a reservation with a breakfast buffet, but there was a wait of over 30 groups for about an hour. Even when it was our turn, there were still more than 30 groups waiting. I'm not sure how many people had plans with breakfast included, but it felt like it exceeded capacity. That part was a bit disappointing. Also, if I may add, it would have been nice if the room could be set to be a little brighter.

    Staycation with Daughter

    I visited here with my daughter for a staycation. We stayed on the club floor, so there were special yukatas and a direct elevator to the Onsen, which was very convenient. The Onsen water was also very good. The Wifi in the Room didn't work initially, but it was promptly addressed, which I appreciated. The bed in the Room was also comfortable. While staying here, we even talked about when we would come next because it was so comfortable. It was very relaxing and healing. Thank you very much.

    The spa is excellent.

    This is my second stay. Last time, the way to the spa was a bit complicated, so this time I chose the spa floor. It was a great decision. I could go to the spa directly in my yukata and slippers using the direct elevator, and enjoyed Awaji Island milk, Awaji Island coffee milk, and Yakult at the post-bath area. They were delicious. The spa was also very pleasant, and I want to go again soon! The black bean natto served at breakfast was very delicious.

    Regular Stays

    Whenever I go to Kobe, I always stay here. I'm not a card member, but I have no complaints about the facilities, meals, and service here. Recommended points: ① You can park your car for 24 hours. ② Great for families, providing peace of mind for households with children. Thank you for always being considerate. ③ There are many public and leisure facilities around the hotel where children can play. ④ The large public bath and Onsen are more than sufficient. ⑤ The cleanliness of the room. There are many other reasons, but my children are happy with this hotel, so there's no room to choose another hotel in Kobe. Haha.

    The bath was much better than expected. Also, the 24-hour free parking was appreciated, and we took the train to Kobe city after checking out.

    It's a favorite.

    I changed rooms for a multiple night stay. Both were good. I would like to use it again. The Onsen here is the best in the area.

    It was a sudden Reservation, but upon checking in and entering the Room, the Hotel staff delivered a message card and chocolates from the manager for our wedding anniversary. At the restaurant for dinner, we also received a dessert plate as a gift, and I was delighted by everyone's thoughtfulness. Thank you very much.

    Repeat visit available

    It was my first time experiencing an Onsen at a Hotel, and it was very enjoyable. Both the open-air bath and the indoor bath were at just the right temperature, warming me to the core. In recent years, there have been concerns about foreign visitors' bath etiquette, but when I visited, it was mostly Japanese guests, so I could use it without any stress. However, the changing area was quite humid, and after bathing, it was too hot, making it difficult to use the hairdryer. Even though it was winter, I felt like a fan would have been helpful. This time, I stayed in a Room with access to the club lounge, but I felt that it might not be necessary next time. In particular, I thought the quality of the one-plate hors d'oeuvres was low. On the other hand, the French dinner was excellent. I especially enjoyed the soup and dessert, which matched my taste perfectly. Breakfast was not crowded, allowing me to enjoy it leisurely, and the content was also good. However, it was too cold, so I recommend taking measures against the cold, such as wearing Heattech. Overall, except for the lounge, I was satisfied and would definitely like to visit again.

    I always use it and have a good overall impression, but...

    1 point: I ordered a cake, but I was told that it couldn't be accepted because the reception was 4 days in advance, and today is 3 days in advance. The way this was communicated felt very condescending, forceful, and overly polite in a rude way. Couldn't it have been expressed in a slightly more apologetic manner? 2 points: Although the IKYU Diamond Member benefits were included, I was told at checkout that the Room had been upgraded afterward. However, I had applied for that Room from the beginning. This is my favorite Hotel, so I will use it again.

    Attracted to the Onsen

    Stayed on the club floor after a long time. The food and beverage service on the club floor is not satisfactory, but I like high floors, so it can't be helped. Having a genuine Onsen in the Hotel is indeed attractive. The staff's hospitality is impeccable as expected, with no flaws.
