    Only close to the Expo site.

    The building is old as it was originally from Hyatt, and signs of aging are evident. There was a bathtub backflow issue at night, and the response to it was laughable. The public bath and sauna are outdated and quite ordinary. The breakfast buffet is nothing special. Additionally, the concierge service was confusing and unhelpful. I wouldn’t revisit, but its proximity to the Expo site was convenient.

    A Three-Generation Family Trip to the Expo

    We stayed at the Hotel as a three-generation family, including my 85-year-old mother, myself, and my daughter, for our trip to the Osaka Expo. The location was convenient and close to the venue, just a short taxi ride away. After getting tired at the Expo, we had dinner at the Hotel's Italian restaurant, and everything was delicious. The service and staff were excellent, making our stay very comfortable. We would love to visit again. Thank you very much!

    The view was amazing.

    Stayed 2 nights in a Deluxe Twin Room. The room was spacious with a view of the Sunflower, offering a luxurious experience. Amenities were promptly delivered upon request, which was very helpful. The breakfast was also very delicious. However, the hotel's information being available only online was slightly inconvenient to navigate.

    Wi-Fi connection is very limited.

    The entire Hotel seems to be in such a situation. Even browsing the internet is difficult, reminiscent of 20 years ago. In a Hotel of this class, if the Room WIFI is slow and unusable (frequently disconnecting), it doesn't seem worth staying at this price. Even an average Business Hotel offers better connectivity. There appears to be no prospect for improvement in the near future.

    Cost-effective Urban Resort Hotel

    I was a bit worried as it was my daughter's solo trip, but the polite emails received during the Reservation process gave us peace of mind from the start. On the day of her stay, her Room was upgraded to a Deluxe Twin, allowing her to enjoy a relaxing bath with bath salts purchased from a convenience store and spend time comfortably in the spacious Room. She was very pleased. The breakfast was delicious, but she mentioned that the space felt smaller than expected. Since she went early in the morning, it wasn't an issue for her; however, as time passed, it became crowded. Particularly at the open kitchen where several menu items were offered by just one chef, causing some delays. The free shuttle bus service to and from Osaka Station made transportation easy. Thanks to your thoughtful Room upgrade consideration, it turned out to be a highly satisfying and comfortable trip for her. We would love to use your services again when visiting Osaka next time. Thank you very much!

    The facility is good, but there are concerns about customer service and operations.

    The building itself is old, but it has been renovated, and the rooms were very clean. There was also a 24-hour community space available, and I was satisfied with the facilities overall. However, I felt uncomfortable with the customer service and operations. At check-in, I was told, "The accommodation fee has already been paid; you only need to pay the tax now. If you provide your card number now, it will be charged at check-out." Despite this explanation, during check-out I was asked to present my card again. After completing the payment process, my card number was recorded for some reason. Why record my card number at this point? Wasn't it already taken at check-in? When I asked these questions, they responded with: "At check-in we take your card number as a deposit; this is different." However, this answer did not clarify anything. No matter how many times I asked why they needed to record my card number again after everything had been paid—including accommodation tax—they simply said: "It's different; it's necessary." This left me feeling very distrustful. If recording the card number is truly necessary after all payments have been made in full—including accommodation tax—then there should be a clear explanation of why that is required. The lack of understanding or consideration for my concerns and their unclear operations have led me to decide not to stay here again in the future.

    I had a comfortable stay.

    I chose this accommodation due to its proximity to the Kansai Expo venue. Although it is far from the Shinkansen station, there was a free shuttle bus available. I was delighted with the room upgrade and welcome drink service. The view from the Room on the 18th floor was spectacular. The shuttle bus to the transfer station for visiting the Expo also offered luggage storage, which was very helpful. I will definitely use this service again!

    Conveniently located near the Expo site.

    I booked an accommodation to visit the Expo. It was great that the parking lot could be used even before check-in. I was happy with the amenities, including bar soap, and the shampoo and conditioner were in clean mini bottles. For two people staying, one set can be taken home. There was also an indoor pool, and although I made a reservation to use it, I had to cancel due to a schedule conflict, which was unfortunate. The breakfast offered a wide variety of options and was very satisfying. According to locals in Osaka, Cosmo Square is considered an inconvenient location. While there were no bathrobes provided, I think it’s a very nice hotel overall.

    It was a very nice Hotel! I would like to use it again when traveling to Osaka.

    Parking was available before check-in on the day of stay, which was very helpful during the Expo visit! The front desk staff were efficient and pleasant, and both the soft carpet on the way to the room and the room itself were very spacious and satisfying. Despite being next to a large road, it was incredibly quiet! The breakfast was delicious no matter what I tried, with freshly made egg dishes and meat soup leaving a particularly strong impression. I will definitely stay here again for my next trip to Osaka.

    Multiple Night Stay at the Expo

    The day before the Expo reservation, I arrived too early and decided to leave my luggage and go out. The cloakroom staff advised me, "You should take your umbrella and jacket with you." It was sunny at the time, but by evening, the weather changed drastically... Their advice was spot on and truly helpful. Thank you very much!

    It was a wonderful day and a great memory.

    Thank you to the staff of Grand Prince Hotel Osaka Bay. Despite being busy on the day before the Osaka Expo, I truly appreciate your courteous service and the room upgrade. The hotel offered a beautiful view of the sea and city nightscape amidst an urban setting. Additionally, the surrounding area was quiet, making my stay very satisfying. Next time, I hope to spend a relaxing time on the Club Floor. Thank you very much!

    Breakfast venue filled with international guests

    At check-in, I was unable to receive the Diamond Member benefit of a room upgrade. I was told it couldn't be done because the upgraded room category was different and larger than the one I reserved. I had been looking forward to it after reading reviews, so it was disappointing. The front desk simply handed over the key without any guidance, not even pointing out where the elevator was located. The club lounge is spacious with a nice view, but both drink and food options were limited, which felt underwhelming. Breakfast wasn't served in the lounge; instead, we had to go to the buffet area where there was already a line before opening time. About 80-90% of guests appeared to be Asian foreigners, and being surrounded by people talking loudly while eating made for an unpleasant experience. The room amenities were very basic—no bathrobes, bath salts, or skincare sets provided. Considering how inexpensive it is here, perhaps that's just how it is.

    Grand Prince Hotel Osaka Bay

    It was a very disappointing Hotel in many ways. Check-in was neither good nor bad, but we had to ask where the elevator to the Room was, as it wasn't explained (there is no elevator near the check-in counter). The amenities we requested in advance were properly prepared. Thank you for that. The size of the Room and the feel of the bathroom were good, but detailed cleaning was not thorough. The grout in the shower room tiles, bathtub, and sink were not cleaned properly. It felt unpleasant, so I cleaned them myself using a provided toothbrush. We stayed for 9 nights here, and around the 3rd or 4th night, I noticed that an emergency window had been left open. Since this Room gets morning sunlight, we kept the curtains closed and didn’t notice earlier. I immediately contacted concierge to have it locked; however, I was shocked by their poor sense of security. Upon checking around our Room further, there was dust all over under the bed as well. Additionally, there is a shuttle bus between this Hotel and Osaka Umeda station; however, after evening hours it only runs once per hour which is very inconvenient. Given that this place carries "Prince Hotel" in its name, I expected something better... but it turned out to be very disappointing overall.

    An Urban Resort Perfect for Adults

    I previously stayed at this Hotel before its rebranding and decided to try it again, intrigued by the Prince Group's services. Despite its excellent access from the city, it offers a waterfront urban Resort Hotel experience. The Room views, whether city or sea-facing, are captivating from every angle. From the Club Lounge on the top floor, I enjoyed a relaxing time in a spacious setting while overlooking central Osaka. The attentive care of the staff made my stay truly comfortable—thank you so much! This beautifully rebranded Hotel is one I would love to visit again.

    Enjoy the Resort

    The Room was upgraded to a Sunset Ocean View, offering a stunning view. The bathroom was spacious with a shower booth. It would have been nice to have bath salts provided. Breakfast included various seeds, raspberry vinegar, sour cream, bagels, Greek yogurt, and more, allowing for creative combinations; however, there were no main dishes available. At the basement restaurant, I used a complimentary drink ticket and enjoyed the meal there as well. Unfortunately, the jacuzzi at the pool was under maintenance for two days and unavailable; it would have been helpful if this information had been shared at the pool reception. The gym had a wide variety of equipment and was enjoyable to use. Adding massage chairs would be appreciated. Free rental wear and shoes were convenient; having swimwear, caps, and goggles available for rent would be even better. Before check-in on a weekday afternoon, I enjoyed rooftop barbecue in complete privacy as no one else was around—it was very relaxing. Opting for the bring-your-own-ingredients course resulted in bringing too much food but allowed me to enjoy an elegant dinner with leftovers in the spacious Room later that evening. A microwave on the second floor and a convenience store in the basement made it easy to grab additional items like beer when needed!

    It was truly grand.

    The quality of the evening cocktail dishes at the Club Lounge has significantly improved compared to when it was under Hyatt. Honestly, during the Hyatt days, I felt there wasn’t anything particularly delicious and it was more about enjoying the atmosphere. This time, I was amazed by how wonderful everything was. It has become a Club Lounge that makes me want to visit again. The Room also felt incredibly comfortable after being renovated. I also noticed an overall improvement in staff service; all female staff members from the front desk to the Club Lounge provided excellent hospitality. However, one disappointing point is that breakfast at The Café is shared with guests from Risonare, which means it can be noisy with families and children around. While this is understandable due to families with kids being present, it doesn’t suit guests who wish for a quiet and relaxing breakfast experience in connection with their use of the Club Lounge. I believe this is an area where Hotel should consider differentiation. Even if it's a limited menu, having breakfast available at the Club Lounge would be ideal for such guests.

    Business Hotel in the City Center

    I stayed here for the first time since the Hyatt Regency days. While the price has become more affordable, the atmosphere has become overly casual, resembling a Business Hotel commonly found in Chuo Ward. The reason is clear—there were poorly behaved groups staying here. Hotel staff need to take a firm stance against disruptive behavior; otherwise, regular guests like us might decide never to return. Please understand that allowing such behavior leaves no choice but to evaluate this Accommodation accordingly.

    Luxurious atmosphere with excellent service.

    The luxurious entrance and front desk are impressive, and the service here is outstanding, completely different from the neighboring Quintessa Hotel. The staff maintained smiles throughout and even waved to our child. We stopped by after visiting Universal Studios, and the hospitality was just as excellent as at Universal! The Room was clean and comfortable, making our stay enjoyable. We had a fulfilling time here. This Hotel is definitely one we will return to!

    I had a very pleasant stay.

    The Facility was spacious, clean, and excellent as expected, but what stood out the most was the exceptional hospitality of the receptionists and staff, making our stay very pleasant. My mother-in-law, who has some difficulty walking, was with us, and they kindly provided a wheelchair without hesitation. Thank you so much. There was a restaurant with a great atmosphere inside the Hotel that I would have loved to try if we had more time in our schedule.

    A Vacation to Cherish Every Moment

    Thank you for the room upgrade and late check-out upon check-in, allowing us to relax in a comfortable Room. However, the crab buffet we were looking forward to was disappointing due to careless preparation, but the breakfast buffet had a wide variety of options and was enjoyable.

    Above all, the staff are wonderful.

    The friendly and approachable staff were wonderful. We used the club lounge and felt very relaxed. My wife also enjoyed her time there. With the upcoming Expo, it will surely get busier.     Comfortable

    The size of the room, the size of the bed, and the way the sheets were folded were impeccable. I had a comfortable stay. The closet can store up to four large carry-ons. The full-length mirror was also cleaned beautifully, with not a single fingerprint on it. The night view was beautiful. The staff's response was excellent; they provided attentive service based on anticipating our questions before we even asked them. I thought the cleaning in the bathroom could be better; a clump of black hair came out from the upper drain. There were no oversights regarding linens, and various types of tea and coffee were always available in the room, making it almost ready for travel without much luggage. The path to the elevator is long. Convenience stores are not open 24 hours and close at 10 PM. A ticket was required for shuttle service due to capacity limits; prior notice would have been appreciated.

    Renovated Guest Rooms

    The rooms were renovated about two years ago with the rebranding, and they have become very beautifully decorated. As it is called an urban Resort Hotel, the access is not too bad since it's in Osaka city, yet it has enough mood and comfort to make you feel like you're in a resort. We ordered both the breakfast buffet and room service for meals, and both were delicious. (Especially the basilico pizza was oven-baked, so very good!)

    Intex Event

    I stayed during an event at Intex. Unlike my previous stay, the room had been renovated and had a stylish feel, which was nice. As before, the response of the hotel staff was impressive, as expected from the Grand Prince, and it was naturally different from ordinary business hotels. Above all, the fact that the parking lot can be used for free until 3 PM on the day of stay is the best. I will stay again during the event!

    It was the best stay.

    Since staying in the newly renovated room at the Grand Prince Hotel for a multiple night stay at the end of last year, this was my second stay. This time, I had reserved the same room as before, but thanks to the IKYU special offer, I was upgraded to a room twice the size. The view, size, facility, and amenities were all perfect, and I was very satisfied. I wanted to spend a relaxing time in the room, so I stayed until just before the checkout time. I rated the facility as 4 because the TV had some connection issues and the BS channels didn't work, and the bathroom floor was cracked and repaired with tape, which bothered me. Other than that, including the staff's response, it was a very satisfying stay. With such experiences, I am tempted to consider staying just to enjoy the hotel. Although it's a bit ahead, I am already looking forward to my stay at the end of the year.

    Excellent hospitality

    The customer service is excellent! As expected from a Japanese Hotel. All the staff greet you with a smile whenever you pass by, and even without saying anything, they ask if they can assist you with something. The front desk staff provided detailed explanations and guidance, offered several suggestions on how to spend time, and delivered truly outstanding service. The Room was very clean, making it comfortable and pleasant to stay in! There were plenty of lighting options, allowing you to adjust according to the situation. The Wi-Fi was smooth and fast, and I was happy to find power outlets and USB charging ports near the bed, along with a good number of outlets overall. If I may be a bit indulgent, I would have appreciated it if the shower in the shower room could be adjusted to a lower height and different angles. That said, the bathroom was spacious, and I was satisfied with the amenities. The bread with cream cheese that I purchased from the bakery? was incredibly delicious. It was so good that I would go out of my way to buy it again, so I highly recommend it.
