This Anniversary Plan lets you celebrate a special day with someone important—or a milestone you want to cherish—at SHIGARAKI SAUNA, a private rental sauna Accommodation where you can experience Shigaraki’s nature and traditions at your own pace. With this Plan, we will provide either one cake or one bouquet per Reservation. Because it’s an important occasion, make both your meal and sauna time feel extra special. For dinner, enjoy our umami dashi hot pot made with locally branded Omi chicken and fresh Shiga-grown vegetables. The rich chicken broth and the natural sweetness of local vegetables come together in a gentle yet deeply flavorful taste. Gather around the steaming pot and enjoy a heartwarming moment. To finish, we also provide udon noodles and Omi chicken egg rice porridge. For breakfast, we offer “Morning Curry,” pleasantly fragrant with spices. You will also have access to two unique saunas: the Kansai region’s first earthbag “Earthen Sauna,” and the “Tea Sauna” featuring Asamiya tea—Japan’s oldest tea tradition. Enjoy soothing steam and a toasty aroma while taking in views of Shigaraki’s mountain ridges. Earthen Sauna (wood-burning stove) Kansai’s first earthbag sauna, made by reusing discarded clay from Shigaraki ware artists’ production process.
