For dinner, we provide a BBQ set centered on Omi Beef sourced from a local butcher and vegetables grown in Shigaraki. Enjoy it easily in the outdoor space using dedicated equipment. The savory aroma of Omi Beef in the crisp air is unforgettable. Savor a special moment while feeling close to nature. For breakfast, we offer our “Morning Curry,” whose fragrant spices gently wake up your body and stimulate your appetite. The sauna included is an electric “Tea Sauna.” With löyly made using Asamiya tea—Japan’s oldest tea with 1,200 years of history—enjoy deeply restorative time wrapped in toasty steam and rich aroma. Relax completely in a special space where no one will disturb you. Local Shigaraki-yaki artists’ works are used for the interior décor and tableware, creating a warm atmosphere that reflects regional beauty and craftsmanship. From the living room you can enjoy lush green views, and at the outdoor relaxation area you can unwind while feeling the natural breeze. Enjoy not only “resetting,” but also time that truly lets your mind unwind. ■Sauna Tea Sauna (electric) Roasted Asamiya tea leaves are used to create our special löyly water. Each pour releases fragrant steam that feels like being surrounded by tea fields. Enjoy moments of oneness with nature while taking in views of Shigaraki’s mountain ridges. Earth Sauna (wood-burning stove) A sustainable sauna built with Kansai’s first earthbag construction method. Designed with inspiration from climbing kilns and made using repurposed clay discarded by Shigaraki-yaki artists.
