This Anniversary Plan lets you celebrate a special day with someone important, or a meaningful milestone you want to remember, at the private rental sauna Accommodation “SHIGARAKI SAUNA,” where you can fully experience Shigaraki’s nature and traditions. With this Plan, we will prepare either one cake or one bouquet per Reservation. Because it’s an important anniversary, make both your meal and sauna time feel extra special. For dinner, we offer a special BBQ set featuring Omi beef (loin, belly, kainomi flap meat, and offal) sourced from a local butcher, plus Omi shamo chicken and Shiga-grown vegetables. Enjoy Shiga’s bounty while feeling close to nature in the outdoor space. For breakfast, we serve our “Morning Curry,” pleasantly fragrant with spices. You can also enjoy two unique saunas: the Kansai region’s first earthbag-built “Earth Sauna,” and the “Tea Sauna” made with Asamiya tea—Japan’s oldest tea. Savor an experience found only here as you’re wrapped in different kinds of heat and aromas. ■ Anniversary Benefits - Either one cake or one bouquet * One item per Reservation. You cannot choose both. * You cannot choose the cake type or the bouquet color/design. ■ Saunas Tea Sauna (electric) Roasted Asamiya tea leaves with 1,200 years of history are used to create our original löyly water. Enjoy a moment overlooking the Shigaraki mountain range as you’re enveloped in steam and a rich roasted aroma. Earth Sauna (wood-burning stove) Kansai’s first earthbag sauna made by reusing discarded clay from Shigaraki ware artists’ production process.
