For dinner, we prepare an umami-rich hot pot made with locally branded Omi Chicken and fresh vegetables from Shiga Prefecture. The soup, slowly infused with the chicken’s savory depth and the vegetables’ natural sweetness, warms you to the core. To finish, enjoy udon noodles and Omi Chicken egg rice porridge—gentle, nourishing flavors that satisfy to the last bite. For breakfast, we offer our “Morning Curry,” whose fragrant spices awaken your appetite. In the Tea Sauna, take a quiet moment to reset as you enjoy löyly scented with roasted Asamiya Tea. In a space harmonized with nature, savor deep relaxation brought by food and sauna. ■Sauna Tea Sauna (electric) Roasted tea leaves from “Asamiya Tea,” with 1,200 years of history, are used to create our special löyly water. Each pour releases aromatic steam that feels like being surrounded by tea fields. Enjoy a moment of oneness with nature in a space overlooking Shigaraki’s mountain ridges. Earth Sauna (wood-burning stove) A sustainable sauna built using the earthbag method—an approach introduced here for the first time in Kansai. Designed with inspiration from traditional climbing kilns and made by reusing discarded clay from Shigaraki pottery artists. Gentle far-infrared heat from the wood fire warms you through to your core.
