An oceanfront Accommodation overlooking the Sea of Japan, where you can enjoy Onsen baths and kaiseki cuisine.

An oceanfront Onsen Ryokan facing Kaike Kaiyu Beach. All guest rooms except the single rooms feature a scenic Jacuzzi bath with views of the Sea of Japan. Rooms with an open-air bath are also available. We offer seasonal kaiseki cuisine made with ingredients at their peak. Meals are served in a semi-private restaurant setting, so you can dine comfortably and at ease. Our Onsen is Kaike Onsen, rich in salt, allowing you to easily experience natural thalassotherapy. Enjoy bathing in two locations: the open-air bath building and the large public bath. A Finnish sauna is available for men, and an aroma steam sauna for women.

  • The Room was spacious, and we were able to relax comfortably. The meals were the right portion size and very delicious. Each dish was carefully prepared, with refined flavors. The eel kamameshi at dinner was especially tasty. One disappointment was that the large public bath and the open-air bath were far apart, so I couldn’t make it to the open-air bath. I appreciated being able to enjoy coffee and tea freely in the lobby. I would like to stay again.

  • The experienced female staff member who served us at dinner and breakfast was truly wonderful, and her service was very courteous. She had a name tag on her obi, but I couldn’t see her name—thank you very much. The Room and the in-room jacuzzi were great, but it was a bit inconvenient that the large public bath and the open-air bath were separated; that was the only disappointing point.

Open-air Bath & Large Onsen Public Bath

Kaike—written with the characters meaning “Everyone lives.” Kaike Onsen is said to have begun in 1900, when fishermen discovered hot spring water bubbling up along Kaike Beach. The Onsen that rises from the seabed is rich in minerals and offers many benefits. Because it contains salt, you can easily enjoy a natural thalassotherapy experience.
