  • It was incredibly relaxing.

    Just looking out at the lake from our Room made me feel truly happy. Everything in the Hotel, starting with the Room, was so comfortable that I was really glad we chose to stay here. The portions were very generous and a bit too much for me, but both dinner and breakfast were delicious. Thank you very much. This is an Accommodation I definitely want to visit again. Next time, I’m planning to come by car with my husband, and I’m already looking forward to it.(I also loved the wonderful bath in our Room, but I wanted to see the Onsen building as well; I’m very sorry for the trouble caused regarding the lockers.)

  • We had a luxurious stay.

    This was my first stay, and the Facility was very clean. The staff were also wonderfully welcoming, and I had a great time. The Room was clean and comfortable, with a beautiful view of the lake right in front of us. It was also great to be able to watch various streaming videos on the large projector. I understand this can’t be helped in summer, but it was disappointing that there were so many insects on the outdoor terrace that we couldn’t really use it.The food was delicious as well, but I noticed that some drinks listed on the menu were sold out. It’s a small thing in itself, but details like this can give the impression that things aren’t being managed thoroughly.(In the end, though, it led me to try something new—so it worked out!)

The private villa “Kotei” offers a garden and pool to fully enjoy this generous natural setting, and in winter you can spend cozy moments by the wood-burning stove. We also offer a variety of Room types: the “Concept Room” with a view bath and terrace for relaxing, the “Standard Room” with an adorable daybed by the window, and the “Workation Room” equipped with a desk.

At the back of the garden, there is an Onsen building. Enjoy a relaxing soak in an open-air setting while gazing out over the garden—an extraordinary moment away from everyday life. Let the warm water melt away daily fatigue and tension, and feel your senses come into balance. Hatchohama Kohama Onsen is a sodium- and calcium-chloride spring, said to be beneficial for neuralgia, muscle pain, chronic digestive issues, and sensitivity to cold.
