Perched on a hill in Yuhigaura Onsen, this adults-only Accommodation offers 18 rooms total, with just three rooms per floor. Refined quiet, an airy sense of space, and understated luxury create a soothing stay, and every room features a terrace and a scenic-view Onsen bath. At the top-floor guest-only “Lounge Terrace AO,” enjoy an elegant moment gazing out at the sea and sunset. Dinner features creative cuisine made with carefully selected seasonal ingredients, thoughtfully prepared and presented with the chef’s signature touches. We hope you’ll spend a richly relaxing time here—so restful you may feel it’s a shame to do anything at all.
We stayed here to celebrate two of our daughters—one for her birthday, and the other for passing her exam and starting her first job next month. We loved it so much that this was our second stay at Fuuka, after visiting in November with my daughter and mother. This time, three generations came together—our daughters, my husband and I, and my parents—and we ended up talking late into the night. Even so, the staff kindly took care of us, and their attentiveness was outstanding. The food was excellent as well, and we’re already saying we’d love to celebrate here again when something good happens. Thank you very much.

During our conversation at dinner, a staff member kindly noticed and prepared a celebration for us.We were truly grateful—it was such a wonderful surprise and very moving.Thank you very much.

Lounge Terrace AO – Spectacular Ocean and Sunset Views
In spring 2023, the top-floor “Lounge Terrace AO” opened. The Sea of Japan and the sunset, changing with time, create a natural theater. From bright and open tea time to a dramatic late night with lowered lighting, and on to a refreshing morning, we welcome guests in many different moods. Inside the lounge, drinks including alcohol are complimentary, and during tea time we also offer carefully selected finger desserts. Please enjoy freely from check-in to check-out.
Quiet guest rooms with scenic-view Onsen baths in every room, with only three rooms per floor.
Fuuka is an adults-only Accommodation with 18 rooms (three rooms per floor), located next to the main building as an annex of Kashoen and set on a hill in Yuhigaura. A spacious, tranquil setting welcomes you. From rooms on the third floor and above, you can enjoy sweeping views of the Sea of Japan.
Relax your mind and body at Yuhigaura Onsen
Yuhigaura Onsen is known for its skin-beautifying waters. Soak up to your shoulders in the endlessly flowing hot spring and savor the moment as your whole body gently unwinds. Enjoy the in-room scenic-view Onsen bath available anytime during your stay, along with the large public bath and two private open-air baths—each with its own unique atmosphere—to make lasting travel memories. (For a Multiple Night Stay, these facilities are unavailable from 11:00 to 14:00 due to cleaning and maintenance.)
“Kasyoen Bettei Fuuka” is a drink-inclusive Accommodation.
Our Accommodation offers a drink-inclusive stay, with complimentary beverages including alcohol at dinner and at Lounge Terrace AO. At the lounge terrace, you are also welcome to enjoy finger desserts during café time at no extra charge. Please relax and enjoy your stay without worrying about your wallet.
