Perched on a hill in Yuhigaura Onsen, this adults-only Accommodation offers 18 rooms total, with just three rooms per floor. Every room features a terrace and a scenic-view Onsen bath. At the top-floor guest-only “Lounge Terrace AO,” enjoy an elegant time gazing out over the sea and sunset. For dinner, savor carefully selected seasonal ingredients from Tango and Tajima at our dining venue. With drinks included, enjoy as much as you like—perfectly paired with fresh seafood.
Both the presentation and the taste of the meals were wonderful, and we had a truly enjoyable time. It felt like a special adults-only getaway. The lounge was also a relaxing space—we could unwind right after check-in with snacks and coffee, and it was great to have it almost entirely to ourselves in the morning.There was such a wide selection of drinks with the meals that it was hard to choose. They were also very accommodating during my pregnancy, so even without raw foods and with non-alcoholic options, we had an extremely comfortable stay. We were able to relax as a couple and spend quality time together. We’d love to visit again in another season!
mame2 9/28/2026I felt that your hospitality training is truly thorough. As someone from the Showa generation, being welcomed on arrival and seen off at the very end really touches my heart. Also, during the send-off, was the woman in the black suit the proprietress? When we were leaving from the indoor parking area, she even came to the main entrance and waved with a smile—my heart skipped a beat. I’m a woman, though (lol).Also at dinner, when I couldn’t decide between matsutake mushroom rice or pasta for the final dish, Mr./Ms. Horii (I think?) kindly prepared both—thank you for your thoughtfulness. It may seem like a small thing, but this will be an Accommodation I’ll return to.The cuisine and guest room were perfect for me! The cool autumn breeze was refreshing, and the lounge was beautiful as well. Your all-inclusive offering is an impressive effort and an outstanding value—truly one of the best deals around! The staff at your partner souvenir shop were also very pleasant, and I’ve come to love Yuhigaura Onsen even more.Thank you for taking care of us during busy Silver Week.

In spring 2023, the top-floor “Lounge Terrace AO” opened. The Sea of Japan and the sunset, changing with time, create a natural theater. From bright and open tea time to a dramatic late night with lowered lighting, and on to a refreshing morning, we welcome guests in many different moods. Inside the lounge, drinks including alcohol are complimentary, and during tea time we also offer carefully selected finger desserts. Please enjoy freely from check-in to check-out.
Quiet guest rooms with scenic-view Onsen baths in every room, with only three rooms per floor.
Fuuka is an adults-only Accommodation with 18 rooms (3 rooms per floor), located next to the main building as an annex of Kashoen and set on a hill overlooking Yuhigaura. A spacious, tranquil setting welcomes you. From guest rooms on the third floor and above, you can enjoy sweeping views of the Sea of Japan.
Relax your mind and body at Yuhigaura Onsen
Yuhigaura Onsen is renowned as a “beauty bath.” Soak up to your shoulders in the endlessly bubbling waters and savor the moment as your whole body gently unwinds. Enjoy our in-room scenic-view Onsen bath available anytime during your stay, along with the large public bath and two private open-air baths—each with its own unique atmosphere—to make lasting travel memories. (For a Multiple Night Stay, these facilities are unavailable from 11:00 to 14:00 due to cleaning and maintenance.)
Kashoen Annex Fuuka is a drink-inclusive Accommodation.
Our Accommodation offers a drink-inclusive stay, with complimentary beverages during dinner (including alcoholic drinks) and at Lounge Terrace AO. At the lounge terrace, you are also welcome to enjoy finger desserts during café time at your leisure. Please relax and enjoy your stay without worrying about extra charges.
