    Good.

    Overall, it was good. Room wear could be changed multiple times. The breakfast had many cold items, and it would have been nice to have some warm soups to heat the body. The bath felt ordinary and not enjoyable enough.

    The shuttle bus driv...

    The shuttle bus driver from the station was very courteous, and after arrival, we were able to enjoy a relaxing time with the Onsen, meals, and service lounge. The in-house attire was comfortable with various sizes available, and the basket bag provided was very convenient. It was our first parent-child trip in a while, and my parent seemed genuinely happy and satisfied, which made it all worthwhile. The Hotel's original steamed buns sold at the gift shop are perfect as souvenirs and were well-received by those we gave them to.

    A Hotel with Excellent Value for Money

    The cost was around 15,000 yen per person, so honestly, I didn't have high expectations. However, it turned out to be excellent value for money, and I was very satisfied. The lobby offered unlimited tea varieties, and the breakfast buffet was delicious. Thank you for the great hospitality!

    Full of excellence

    Upon arrival, you are greeted with a stunning view from the front desk. The staff are kind and their smiles are wonderful. Despite being busy, they thoughtfully helped with photo angles, resulting in great pictures. The room offers an amazing ocean view where you can fully enjoy watching the sunrise. Relaxing in the onsen leaves your skin smooth by the next morning. Due to choosing the wrong plan, meals were a bit light this time, but this is an accommodation I would love to visit again.

    The meals are delicious and perfectly portioned.

    I have stayed at various accommodations, but this was the first time I could finish my dinner completely. Everything was delicious with perfect seasoning, and I enjoyed every bite. Although I usually don't like golden eye snapper, the separate sauce was tasty, and the fish was fresh—by far the best I've ever had. The morning and evening dining venues had window-side seats with a fantastic view. The late-night "Yonaki Tantanmen" noodles were made with my favorite thin noodles, perfectly spiced—everything was simply perfect. I thoroughly enjoyed both the onsen in the room and the large public bath. Relaxing in the lounge with a drink added to my blissful experience. If given another opportunity, I would love to stay here again!

    For Multiple Night Stay

    I stayed for a multiple night stay, and on the second day, due to reservation circumstances, I used this room near the elevator. Conversations from outside and the elevator's automated announcements were clearly audible. While it didn’t bother me once I fell asleep, I was concerned that conversations might be heard outside as well. As for meals, similar to the previous day, I found them somewhat lacking and wished there were more variety. However, aside from that, I was able to spend a comfortable and pleasant time.

    First Stay

    It was my first time using this accommodation, and I was very satisfied. However, the only disappointment was the portion size of the dinner, which both my wife and I found insufficient. While it would have been fine if it were just me, even my wife felt it was lacking—something she has never said before despite staying at various accommodations. This was quite disappointing. Other than that, we had a comfortable and pleasant stay.

    A breathtaking Hotel with a panoramic view of the Izu Islands

    The view of the Izu Islands from the terrace, restaurant, and open-air bath was breathtaking. The lobby offered a wide variety of welcome drinks, which was excellent. The steak was cooked to perfection. Thank you very much!

    Family-friendly

    I stayed with my husband and daughter, and overall, we were extremely satisfied. I think it’s a wonderful hotel. First, the openness of the deck and lobby that caught our eye as soon as we entered the building was exciting. From the check-in process, the staff were very kind to our daughter, which we greatly appreciated. The complimentary drinks and ice cream in the lounge were also delightful, and my daughter enjoyed them very much. The bath area was spacious and clean, with both indoor and outdoor baths that we thoroughly enjoyed. The dining area on the third floor had a great view with an open atmosphere and was beautifully maintained. The children's meal portions were generous; although everything was delicious, my young child couldn’t finish it all—our apologies for that. Of course, we adults also enjoyed our dinner course immensely. We especially appreciated the late-night tantanmen service; however, it would have been even better if takeout to our room had been allowed since putting our child to bed required us to take turns going out. Our room was on the first floor but conveniently close to both the lobby and lounge deck areas. It had a spacious entranceway and was overall clean and comfortable. From start to finish, all staff members provided warm and attentive service. The hotel has a good size overall with an excellent location—we talked as a family about how we'd definitely like to return again someday! It’s also a place I’d recommend to friends without hesitation. Thank you very much!

    Do not underestimate Kamenoi Hotel

    Honestly, I had some reservations about the former Kanpo no Stays, but it turned out to be a wonderful property. First of all, the location is superb with the sea spreading out in front of you as soon as you enter the lobby. Since it is built on a hill, you can enjoy an unobstructed view of the sea from the water terrace and see islands like Oshima. When we were wondering what those islands were called, we found their names written on the cover of our dinner menu. The next morning, holding that menu in hand and chatting about how those islands are Shikinejima and Toshima was a delightful touch indeed. Although there wasn't any melt-in-your-mouth meat or sashimi for dinner, Izu-meshi with kinmedai broth poured over rice topped with rock seaweed was delicious; there were many dishes each creatively prepared for enjoyment. The morning buffet was also very fulfilling with options like Medetai-don topped with grated yam containing slices of tai fish along with drinks included. The room had been beautifully renovated and satisfaction levels were high. In addition to an open-air bath (rotenburo), there was also a sauna making for well-equipped bathing facilities. However one side's rotenburo requires climbing some stairs so please make sure your body is sufficiently warmed before moving to avoid catching cold. I was impressed by how well thought-out everything seemed—from drinks available both morning & night at lobby area to Yonaki Tantanmen noodles perfect when feeling peckish late at night!

    Showa Era Middle Generation

    The fact that the room wear was not a yukata, the door key was not card-type, and there were towels in the bathroom made me feel at ease. The free drink corner on the first floor was also casual and convenient. I was impressed by how well-balanced the areas where effort is put in and those where it is saved are.

    Satisfied with everything

    The property is clean and very beautiful, with the convenience of being able to go to the bath empty-handed. The loungewear is comfortable, and the staff are thorough in their greetings, which is wonderful. The woman at the front desk was also kind and had a very pleasant demeanor. Choosing sweets at check-in was fun. Dinner was satisfying in both quantity and taste, with beautifully arranged dishes that were a feast for the eyes as well. Breakfast was a buffet and generally satisfactory. However, it was disappointing that we had to ask for our plates to be cleared after eating. The property is close to all tourist spots in Izu Kogen (Izu Kougen), making it easy to visit them all by car; discount tickets were available at the front desk. After dinner at 17:30, we could easily return from seeing Granillumi (Guranirumi) before enjoying some tantanmen noodles and warming up our chilled bodies slowly in the bath afterward. Although it was just one night, I left satisfied and can recommend this property to other families as well. Thank you very much.

    The scenery and the food are both excellent.

    I felt that the Onsen, scenery, and cuisine were all absolutely wonderful. If I have the opportunity, I would definitely like to visit again. I highly recommend it to everyone.

    A hotel that makes you want to visit again

    We wanted to relax as a couple, so we stayed for the second time. From the parking lot upon arrival, we felt the hospitality through the service. The property is filled with a sense of cleanliness and delicious meals. This time, I made a reservation with a surprise plan for my wife who loves crab, and it seems she was satisfied. She said she'd like to come again, which made it a delightful trip for me as well.

    It was a trip to celebrate the end of my son's junior high school entrance exams. When I mentioned this during the check-in conversation, we were offered complimentary drinks at dinner. I was delighted that they remembered our conversation, and the service was truly touching.

    Repeat guaranteed

    The hospitality was excellent, and it was a clean Hotel that made us want to visit again. Dinner was kaiseki, and since we tend to feel full quickly if the intervals between dishes are long, they kindly accommodated our request to shorten the intervals, allowing both my husband and me to finish our meals, which is rare. However, for younger people, the portion might feel a bit small, but since there is tantanmen prepared for a late-night snack, it shouldn't be a problem. Plenty of towels were provided, and we enjoyed the comfortable large public bath and the open-air bath in the Room. The only thing that could have been better was if there were bathrobes available. In any case, we were very satisfied and are talking with my wife about visiting again.

    The meals and the bath were very satisfying. The reclining bed was nice, but it felt a bit cramped. The staff in charge of the meals were also very pleasant.

    Completely satisfied! I want to visit again!

    I stayed for one night in early February. First, I was impressed by the breathtaking view right after entering the entrance and had a smooth check-in. I learned for the first time that with the benefit of a room with an open-air bath, I could drink alcohol for free at the premium lounge. I was surprised by the fact that it was free and also by the variety. The room was new and clean, and personally, I found the ReFa hair iron to be a high point. The open-air bath provided had a shower room in the middle, and the structure allowed the door to be closed while using the shower, so I could use it without feeling cold even in winter. The dishes were beautifully presented, and I was able to enjoy a very delicious meal. It was a bit lacking, but there was a night snack service (I was actually looking forward to it after hearing about it), and I had a perfectly sized bowl of tantanmen, which satisfied both my stomach and heart. Since the large public bath was available from 5:30 in the morning, I used it and had coffee while watching the sunrise around 6:30 at the entrance. Breakfast was buffet style, and I was happy to find sashimi, which was all delicious. I was able to relax until check-out, and it was a very satisfying one-night stay. I sometimes couldn't catch the Japanese of the staff, but their earnest efforts and smiles were very lovely. I would love to use it again!!

    Compared to Onsen Hotels in the Atami area, the price is more reasonable, and you can travel a bit by train.

    **Facility:** The hotel's facilities were all new and in excellent condition. Watching the sunrise from the reclining chair in the lobby's book corner was fantastic. There are many other enjoyable places in the vicinity, and the hotel's shuttle service was convenient. **Service:** The staff was very accommodating, and even as a foreigner, I was able to communicate easily in simple English. The hotel placed guests with children in the same area, which made me feel very secure. **Dining:** The meals were very delicious, and the portions were just right. I enjoyed trying several types of sake sets, and I liked them all. The quality, uniqueness, and variety of the breakfast were very satisfying, and having breakfast while overlooking the sea was exceptional. Additionally, the tantanmen at night was very tasty, and I felt the thoughtfulness in the service. **Bathing Experience:** I used the open-air bath in the large public bath both at night and in the morning. The morning women's open-air bath had a partially obstructed view of the sea, likely for privacy protection. Compared to onsen hotels in the Atami area, the price was reasonable, and it is well worth taking a short train ride to experience the Izu Highlands.

    The building is new ...

    The building is new and clean, which feels pleasant. We stayed as a group of three, but there was only one chair in the Room, so two of us had to sit on the bed, making it difficult to relax in the Room. The meals were delicious, but the portions were somewhat small, which might not be enough for younger guests. Fortunately, there was tantanmen available as a late-night snack, but I think it would be better to increase the meal portions a bit. The view was excellent, and the spacious balcony was a nice touch. I would like to visit other Kamenoi Hotel locations as well.

    A relaxing Stays

    We stayed for one night with two people. The view of the sea from the lobby was breathtaking. The streamlined system, which minimizes unnecessary interactions with the staff, allowed us to relax very much. That said, the staff who greeted us at the parking lot and those at the dining area were very kind. Both the bath and the meals were good. One point, the air conditioning in the Room was centrally controlled, and we couldn't change the room temperature from 25 degrees, which made the Room a bit hot and caused some stress. It would be helpful if the temperature could be adjusted for each Room. We would like to visit again someday.

    Last week, I stayed ...

    Last week, I stayed with my husband, and this week, with my daughter, making it two consecutive weeks at this Property. I really like the Onsen here, as the changing room is spacious, the washing areas are partitioned, and the bath itself is large. This time, we stayed in a Room with an open-air bath, and we were extremely satisfied. The open-air bath in the Room was always at the perfect temperature, allowing us to enjoy it anytime we wanted, making our stay very pleasant. The lounge offered beer, sparkling wine, and more, so we found ourselves going back and forth between the bath and the lounge, keeping us delightfully busy. I have already made my next Reservation and am looking forward to it.

    It was a Property with excellent service.

    We stayed here for an anniversary trip. The spacious and clean Room with four beds was very relaxing and comfortable. The Room's equipment and amenities were fully equipped, with three TVs and air purifiers with humidifiers in each Room. The lounge was also a nice touch. The barrel sparkling wine was very delicious. The breakfast buffet was a bit disappointing as there were food crumbs under the chairs and tables we were guided to, which made it a little hard to relax. However, the dinner was beautifully presented and creative, and the whole family enjoyed it. The customer service was also excellent. The water terrace and the view from the Room were very beautiful. Especially after the morning bath, enjoying ice cream while admiring the scenery was the best way to refresh. It seems they also offer morning yoga, but it was not available this time. We talked about wanting to try yoga and spa treatments next time. Choosing this place for our first family trip of the year was truly a great decision. Thank you very much.

    Unfortunately

    It was a Snow Crab Plan, but it seemed to have been forgotten, as the crab did not appear until we confirmed it. The tantanmen of the night soba was very salty. Upon departure, after settling the bill at the front desk, no one saw us off, making it feel like a different property from the welcoming mood at check-in. Pushing the suitcase from the front desk to the parking lot felt very disheartening.

    It was excellent.

    We used the property for our wedding anniversary. From start to finish, it was a very polite and pleasant stay. The facility was clean, and the terrace was a lovely space. There was something like black mold on the ceiling of the women's bath at night, but the cleaning was thorough and it was good. The amenities and slippers were fluffy, and the room had a set of ReFa iron, cleansing, face wash, lotion, and cream, which was very appreciated. The room's refrigerator didn't cool much, but it was good to have it. I found it a bit difficult to understand which switch controlled which light in the room, but the lighting atmosphere was very nice. The TV was the type that allowed you to watch YouTube and other services, and it automatically logged out of your account, which was good. The food was also very delicious. The children's meal came in a castle-shaped container, which made them very excited. Each dish was carefully and delicately prepared, and it was visually appealing and delicious. I regret not being able to finish the meal because I got quite drunk after drinking in the premium lounge... I feel sorry for not being able to eat what was prepared for us. When I asked about sanitary products, there were only men around, so I asked, but I think some people might be concerned about that. In the premium lounge, you can drink various alcoholic beverages and drinks as much as you like, and you can also take them to your room, which was nice. It seemed that the premium lounge was available for premium rooms or for an additional fee, but I wondered how they determined that. The black sesame tantanmen from the night soba was something even a 5-year-old could eat. They were happy that it wasn't spicy and was delicious. The thin noodles, like somen, were well coated with the soup and were very tasty. The portion was small, but it was just the right amount for a midnight snack. Breakfast was buffet-style, and you could eat as much as you liked. I was impressed that I could eat buri-masa sashimi from the morning. Everything was of high quality, and I wanted to eat more, but I got full quickly, which was disappointing. The miso soup, grated yam, and grated daikon had a chlorine-like smell, which was unfortunate. The stars were also very beautiful, and it became a habit to take a bath in the room and then cool off on the terrace. The children liked it so much that they didn't want to leave, so I definitely want to stay again!

    It was as good as the reviews said.

    I decided based on reviews and recommendations, but it was an even more wonderful hotel than the reviews suggested. The staff were kind, and the cleaning was thorough. I was able to rest and relax, which was very nice. The food included local seasonings, which I bought as souvenirs. It was a great trip.

    Thank you for your hospitality the other day. We, a group of four including my parents and us as a couple, used two rooms. It seemed that the day we stayed was relatively quiet, so we were able to spend our time leisurely. We are grateful for the upgrade from the reserved open-air room to an open-air room with a terrace, and for preparing dinner with alternative ingredients due to our food preferences. We also enjoyed the various attentive services. My elderly parents were able to use the onsen in the room with peace of mind. We were impressed with the sliding door design, which is considerate for all ages. The weather was clear, so the view was also excellent. We would love to visit again.
