    It was very good.

    I chose a Room with a view of Lake Ashi, and the view was very nice. The Room was spacious and clean, which was great. There were many foreign staff members, but everyone had a wonderful smile, responded pleasantly, and accommodated our flexible requests. The buffet meals were delicious, and the all-you-can-drink alcohol option was very satisfying!

    Wonderful Girls' Trip

    The excellence of the lounge upon entering the Hotel, the spaciousness and variety of the large public bath, and the superb open-air bath are the best. The buffet-style meals offer a wide selection, and I couldn't finish it all! It was a moment of happiness. I want to go again.

    Last year, during our stay for our wedding anniversary, while waiting to check in, the guide who could also handle reception quickly attended to us and even came outside to take photos for us. I am truly grateful for their assistance and would like to express my thanks. This year, with more staff and international guests, it seemed challenging to manage, and there were no staff showing such considerate behavior, but that's just my impression based on last year. Since our child couldn't go to the bath, we requested a chair for the room shower, but it was so dirty, as if it had been used on the balcony, that we didn't use it at all. We also requested a baby bed, but due to my lack of confirmation, it was a size only suitable for newborns and completely unusable. Although the direct phone call after the reservation and the response were excellent, I felt that the attentiveness and care seemed to have diminished compared to before. Regarding meals, the buffet style made the food taste better than before, and the all-you-can-drink alcohol was a delight for alcohol lovers. However, the previously highlighted dishes were mixed into the buffet, making them hard to identify. The simple baby food for children wasn't available during our previous visit, and we brought it without knowing it was freely available at DINNER, which was disappointing due to the lack of guidance. In the morning, expecting the same, the simple baby food area was closed, which was confusing. Personally, I would like to have raw eggs in the morning, and if not possible, onsen eggs would be nice. It would also be great if a chef, like in a hotel, could make omelets for children, offering plain or well-done options.

    Well-balanced in every aspect.

    This was my fourth visit. Each time, the facility and the baths are thoroughly cleaned, and I was able to enjoy my stay comfortably this time as well. Unlike the last time, there was an all-you-can-drink alcohol option for the first time, but my husband and I felt it might be better if we could pay to have it brought to us. Also, the service of ordering fish and meat multiple times was no longer available. The fish was quite delicious, so it was a bit disappointing, but we were able to enjoy the meat at the buffet. Due to the atmospheric pressure, I had a headache upon arrival, but when I contacted the in-house massage service, they responded immediately. It was the most effective treatment I've ever received, and it felt very good. Thank you very much. One thing that was disappointing was that the espresso from the coffee machine was very weak, so I hope this can be improved. However, considering the price, I think it is very affordable. I would definitely like to visit again. Thank you very much.

    Reunion with Friends

    Reunion with a friend living overseas after 15 years & girls' trip Footbath upon arrival, Onsen, meals Each aspect was high-level in detail, and above all, the smiles of the staff left a strong impression. Courteous service despite being busy. There were many foreign travelers, and this was truly Japanese hospitality. My friend seemed very satisfied and said she would recommend it to others. I am sure to be a repeat visitor!

    No indication of allergies.

    The hotel had a very wonderful view. The meals were very delicious and satisfying, but it was scary because there was no indication of food allergies. It was troublesome to ask the staff about it each time. It was a bit inconvenient that it was very far to go to the room. If I have the opportunity to stay next time, I would like to stay in a room with a better view.

    It was my second time using it.

    This time it was a trip for two women. The service was good and the staff were courteous. All the food was delicious. It was nice that we didn't have to bring towels from the Room to the bath. We had a lot of luggage and borrowed a cart, but the next day we needed it again, and it was far to go to the entrance to get it. I would like to stay again.

    Second stay

    I first stayed 6 years ago before COVID-19. At that time, the staff was also very courteous. The level of politeness was so pleasant that I decided to stay again. Last time, the enjoyable dinner was ruined by some international guests who couldn't follow the order and unnecessarily brought food to the table. This time, there were no such troubles, and I was provided with a satisfying dinner. I also appreciate the prompt and courteous response to minor issues outside of meals. I will definitely stay again when I visit Hakone. Thank you very much.

    I would like to use it again.

    Overall, the Hotel has a clean feel and offers a very beautiful view from the lobby. All the staff members are smiling, making it a Hotel I would like to stay at again. It would be perfect if both of the alternating baths had a dry sauna and a cold bath. There were many foreign guests, and I was concerned about some entering the bath with clothes on or without tying their hair... However, the Onsen was pleasant.

    It was comfortable to stay.

    Although the weather was on and off with rain, we enjoyed the footbath. The room was simple and clean with a view of Lake Ashi, and the bed was very comfortable. The meals were varied and very delicious. I thought 90 minutes was short, but since I was full, it seemed just right. I would like to visit again if I have the chance. Thank you very much.

    It was my first stay.

    It was my first time staying here. All the staff were pleasant and made me feel comfortable. I was able to completely forget about work and daily life. However, when I went to the large public bath after dinner and a break, there were several cypress boards floating in the middle of the hot water bath and the silky bath (laughs), and the used towel bins and slipper tags were all mixed up... I think just one more check would greatly improve this, so that was the only disappointment. But the shelf bath had a good temperature and was really pleasant. The meals had a variety of options and creativity, which I enjoyed. It has become one of the hotels I would like to visit again. Thank you for taking care of me.

    Favorite accommodation

    This was my second stay. I rarely repeat stays as I like to try different places, but I wanted to come back here and my wish came true. The inside of the Hakone Ropeway was too hot, and my partner seemed to be suffering from heatstroke and fell ill. However, the staff kindly accommodated our request to change the dinner time and lent us an ice pillow, which was a great help. Thanks to their assistance, we were able to have dinner, and my partner recovered by the next day. When I asked a different front desk staff member at checkout about how to return the borrowed items, they inquired about my partner's condition, showing that information was well communicated among the staff. Despite being an affordable and cost-effective inn, everyone was kind and hospitable, just like last time, making it a pleasant stay. The hot spring doesn't offer a spectacular view of the lake, but you can relax while looking at the beautiful garden. The changing area is comfortable with towels and a good hairdryer. We were pleased to have a room on the lakeside with a nice view of the pirate ship and the lake. The buffet was delicious and satisfying, just like last time. Unlike before, there was an all-you-can-drink option, and I enjoyed the fruit liqueur. The fruit selection was not the seasonal items like the super sweet persimmons and grapes from before, but rather the standard lineup. The desserts were delicious, but there seemed to be more common menu items. However, those who enjoy alcohol might prefer the current offerings. The staff, though young, were very polite, cheerful, and efficient, smoothly guiding both domestic and inbound guests. Overall, it's a wonderful inn, and even my partner, who isn't very interested in hot spring inns, wants to come back and stay longer next time. It's a favorite place of ours.     Overall, it is good, but

    For the first time, our family of four (with an upper elementary schooler and a first-year junior high student) wanted to stay near Lake Ashi, and we chose this place because it seemed to have a nice atmosphere. As soon as we got out of the car at the entrance, a young woman who guided us spoke too quickly, and we couldn't understand what she was saying. I mentioned that one of the children got car sick, but there was little reaction (maybe she didn't hear?). I wondered if she was new... and felt a bit uneasy. However, the woman who handled our check-in provided excellent service. The guest room wasn't spacious, but it had a great view overlooking Lake Ashi. We could occasionally see the pirate ships, which added to the nice atmosphere. The hot springs had an open-air bath where you could enjoy a good view, a reclining type, a milky white bath (with bubbles), and one with floating cypress disks. We tried both after the gender switch, and they had a similar ambiance. Although rain was forecasted, it didn't rain, so we could visit the water terrace, but unfortunately, there were no cushions like in the photos. The footbath near the water terrace was very nice. For dinner, we were told to first choose and eat various appetizers in small bowls before going to the other buffet. The sweet shrimp was sweet, and there were other very delicious appetizers, but the sweet and sour pork was so tough it was hard to chew. Compared to other luxury hotels, the quality of the sashimi and steak was so-so. Some appetizers had a slightly artificial taste. It was nice that there was an all-you-can-drink option, including draft beer. We were very grateful that the birthday plate (for an additional charge) we requested was brought out at the perfect timing at the beginning. They took a photo before we got too tipsy, temporarily took it away until we finished eating, and then brought it back with dessert, which was very considerate. The dessert plate had macarons and special desserts not available at the buffet, with chocolate art, and the birthday person was very pleased, making the surprise a great success! We couldn't have authentic coffee, but the kids were happy, so it felt good for a family trip. I hope the quality of the food will improve a bit more in the future.

    First time staying in a lakeside room

    This was my fifth stay, but it was my first time using a lakeside room. I felt like I discovered a different "Hanaori" than before. The weather forecast predicted heavy rain, but fortunately, it was wrong, and I was able to relax and enjoy the happiness of gazing at Lake Ashi from the balcony. I was also able to see a beautiful sunset. Another surprise was that alcohol was now available as a free drink. It had been more than a year and a half since my last visit, and while many things have changed, this was a pleasant change. I will definitely stay again.
