    Only 2 beds available.

    Since there are only two beds, when traveling with older children, the Room will be arranged for four people by adding futons and mattress beds in a small space. The Room will be cramped, and there is no space to watch TV. It is closer to being a Hotel for two people.

    The hotel was clean ...

    The hotel was clean and had a sense of cleanliness, and the staff's service was excellent. The selectable yukata and footbath were nice as well. However, despite staying on a Sunday, the lobby was crowded with foreign guests, the buffet was busy, some dishes were not replenished in time, and there were many disappointing aspects that differed from online reviews. In the women's bath, I was truly shocked to find a foreign family in the farthest open-air bath area where you can lie down—there was even a man who seemed to be their father present. I left immediately and couldn't relax at all.

    The meals are delicious.

    The Hotel and Room, including the bathroom, were clean, and the view of Lake Ashi from everywhere was wonderful. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious. The room temperature was set at 27°C, which felt hot, but I couldn't figure out how to use the air conditioning... It was a bit disappointing that the restaurant staff seemed tired and remained silent.

    An accommodation you'll want to visit regularly

    This is my fourth stay after about a year. I really love the water terrace view from the lobby and the beautiful Lake Ashi scenery from the room. The staff's attentiveness is always pleasant, making it a satisfying accommodation. Usually, I use the shuttle service from Odawara, but this time it was fully booked, possibly because I contacted them late, so I had to take a public bus instead. Next time, I'll make sure to book it together when completing my accommodation reservation. This time, with the renewal of their cuisine menu, the dishes were visually appealing and delicious; however, I wonder if they serve the same menu for multiple night stays... Personally, I preferred their previous offerings. The free-flow drinks are great for drink lovers like me but not being able to enjoy local sake tasting as before is a bit disappointing.

    I decided to stay be...

    I decided to stay because of the high review ratings. While the highly-rated aspects were as expected, there were some unexpected issues that I deducted points for. Perhaps it was due to the spring break crowd, but when I went to the breakfast venue around 8:20 AM, there was a 20-minute wait. With a 10:00 AM checkout and needing to use the 10:00 AM shuttle service, I felt rushed and couldn't fully enjoy my time. For breakfast during busy periods, it might be better to consider implementing time slots or offering takeout options. Regarding customer service, during check-in, it seemed like the staff member assisting me was inexperienced as it took a long time. Additionally, I was asked to reserve dinner myself using my smartphone, which I found inconvenient and deducted points for this as well. Since it was crowded at that time, lengthy procedures could inconvenience other guests. It is a lovely accommodation; however, I felt that without a longer stay, it's difficult to fully enjoy everything it has to offer.

    Breathtaking views...

    Stayed during a long weekend. In terms of facilities, the room, bath, shared spaces, and location were truly excellent for a hotel in this price range. However, the dining experience was less enjoyable due to the weekend crowd; both dinner and breakfast were busy and not very relaxing. Additionally, there were few dishes that highlighted local specialties, which was slightly disappointing. That said, considering that drinks during dinner were inclusive, I think the value for money is good.

    Completely Satisfied

    The high review rating raised my expectations, but the experience far exceeded them. Despite two days of rain, a Hijab-wearing woman greeted us warmly with a big smile at the carport in the cold rain, which was truly wonderful. The open view of Lake Ashi from the entrance hall was breathtaking. The welcome drink, quick response from the front desk staff, and selecting colorful yukata on our way to the room—all were perfect. Dinner reservations via QR code were smooth. The room and bed were exceptionally comfortable. The pirate ship on Lake Ashi was visible nearby; it must be even more stunning on a sunny day. It was slightly disappointing that tall-sized yukata had limited patterns to choose from. However, above all else, the buffet meals were incredibly delicious! I wanted to try everything and ended up sharing desserts because there was so much I wanted to eat—it felt like something you’d find in a high-end department store food section! The Hanawori pudding, Hanawori hamburger steak, and Kenchin soup left lasting impressions. Surprisingly, even though there wasn’t a domestic label for the eel dish, it tasted excellent as well! Additionally, kudos to the staff member in black who handed over stirrers promptly with my highball—impressive service indeed! For breakfast: scrambled eggs paired with onion danish pastries and creamy café au lait milk brought me joy in every bite or sip. The silky bath water made my skin feel soft and smooth afterward while not needing towels carried out directly saved hassle too!. Despite being crowded everywhere during peak times- I'd love returning again during another season someday soon!. Thank you very much; we’re genuinely satisfied beyond words!!

    Very satisfied!

    We stayed during the New Year, and my husband really enjoyed it, so this was our first stay in two months. The room was compact with unnecessary items removed. Although it was far from the large public bath, this time we reserved a room with an open-air bath, which was great. The meals were mostly delicious, and alcoholic beverages like draft beer were all-you-can-drink. In January, staff poured the draft beer for us, but this time there was an automatic beer server, making it more convenient to use. Being able to enjoy beer even at breakfast was fantastic. We would love to stay again!

    A trip for moms and kids: From the Hotel, you can easily access attractions like the pirate ship and ropeway in Hakone. Before taking the Shuttle Service back, you can relax in a foot bath and fully enjoy sightseeing.

    Great satisfaction

    I was extremely satisfied with the service at the restaurant. Since it is a buffet style, there are few instances of being served, but even in that situation, when I sat down with sesame tofu and thought, "Oh, I forgot to get a small spoon," the person who had just cleared my dishes said, "Here you go." I was amazed! They assessed the situation in an instant while at the table! It was the best service for me.

    The free drinks at the dining venue are excellent.

    It is quite a distance from the Room in Kosuikan to the large public bath and restaurant. There were many corners, and I bumped into people several times. It would be nice to have corner mirrors. Regarding the gender switch of the large public bath, my wife told me that there was a man in the women's bath during the morning session. The women's bath might need a passcode lock like those at business hotels. The free drinks at the restaurant were great. Especially for alcohol, there was a wide variety, including craft beer and bottled beer with Asahi and Sapporo, which was delightful. The Wi-Fi was not very good. We stayed in Room 317, but it kept connecting and disconnecting. Although it was a standard twin room, having a Japanese-style room with Ryukyu tatami mats was nice. I would like to visit again in another season.

    I stayed with a frie...

    I stayed with a friend. The room was clean and the food was delicious, but even though the room had an open-air bath, the parking lot was visible from the window, so we ended up not using the open-air bath. Foreign guests entered the bath area with slippers, left them by the bathtub, and left their belongings in the washing area. Since the staff is constantly cleaning and tidying up towels in the changing room, it would be nice if they could also check the bathroom. Other than that, it was excellent. I would like to stay again.

    Wonderful Hotel

    First of all, the location is excellent, right in front of Togendai Station where the ropeway and pirate ships depart. The Facility was new and very pleasant. We stayed as a family of three in a Standard Twin room (with dinner and breakfast included), and it was spacious enough. The balcony had chairs and a small table, offering a magnificent view of Lake Ashi, the snow-capped mountains, and the passing pirate ships. The bath had a gender-swapping system between night and morning, and both the indoor and open-air baths were spacious. Additionally, there was a sauna, allowing us to relax and unwind. Meals were buffet-style for both dinner and breakfast. The quality of the food was high, with a wide variety of dishes, and everything was delicious and satisfying. Furthermore, there was an all-you-can-drink option for alcohol, including Gotemba craft beer and Spring Valley, which was a delight for beer lovers. Among the many Properties we have stayed at, this is definitely top-class. It was unfortunate that we couldn't see Mount Fuji at all due to the snow and cloudy weather this time. We would love to stay at this Hotel again. Thank you very much.

    Buffet Hospitality

    A one-night stay for my first visit to Lake Ashi. I have stayed in Hakone at places like Yumoto and Gora before, but this time I chose this Property because the buffet seemed great, the hot springs looked promising, and the view appeared stunning. Wow—the hospitality at the buffet was outstanding. First of all, there were so many dishes! And I loved the small portions. I’ve been to Hotel buffet-style dining at places like Shinagawa Hapuna, Zakuro, and the Imperial Hotel, but here at Hanamiyori, it’s not just comparable—it’s amazing! They come to clear your plates! That’s important. The initial salad with a variety of dressings was fantastic. And guess what? Unlimited drinks!! Moreover, there are three types of draft beer. Chilled small bottled beers, wine, sake, whiskey, and shochu. Is this heaven? The Room was simple. The bath was simple. And everything was clean. The view of Lake Ashi right in front of us was breathtaking. It’s been a while since I’ve stayed at such a wonderful Property!

    The cost performance was excellent.

    It is conveniently located just near Togendai. I was able to check in immediately upon arrival around 2:30 PM. The large public bath is spacious, and the sauna is comfortable (personally, the cold bath temperature is the optimal 18 degrees). The buffet steak was also very delicious. I didn't know that drinks were free during meals. Moreover, the staff pours craft beer perfectly, and bottled beer is served in small premium bottles, adding a touch of luxury. Whiskeys like Chivas Regal Mizunara 12 years and Canadian Club 12 years were offered. It was my first time experiencing this. The view of Lake Ashi from the room was also superb. However, due to the clear weather, the sunlight was too strong, and despite it being January, the room temperature was 27 degrees, and it was difficult to cool down even with the windows fully open. Also, although the view from the large public bath was excellent, the windows were dirty, making it hard to see outside (though you can just go to the open-air bath). If the Onsen were a natural hot spring, I would visit every month.

    This is my third time using this Property. Thanks to the Onsen, meals, and the staff's courteous and smiling service, I had another pleasant stay. Among them, I noticed someone providing exceptionally outstanding service. A few years ago, when I stayed at another Hotel (Hanaori-san's group), I was deeply impressed by the meticulous attention and smart demeanor. (Unfortunately, I couldn't remember the name...) During breakfast this time, I saw the same wonderful presence and, wondering if it could be the same person, I hesitantly approached. As I thought, it was the same person, and I was delighted to meet again. Manager I, thank you for taking the time to come to our table and listen to our long conversation despite your busy schedule. The impression of staff like Mr. I makes me feel the high quality of the Hotel. Thanks to you, I was able to spend a truly comfortable time. I look forward to planning another stay and meeting you again. Thank you very much.

    Due to the New Year's traffic, our check-in was delayed, and the only available dinner time was quite late. However, the gentleman at the reception efficiently arranged everything for us. He also engaged with our child during the process, providing excellent service.

    The Onsen was very pleasant. The walking path to Kuzuryu Shrine was also fantastic! The Shuttle Service to and from Odawara Station is convenient. Above all, the view is wonderful, and it was very relaxing. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

    The meals are unbelievably delicious.

    Dinner even comes with unlimited alcoholic drinks—what a surprise! The taste and variety are both excellent. It’s right near Togendai Station, so it’s super convenient for taking the ropeway!

    The meals and room were wonderful, and we had a comfortable stay. Overall, the satisfaction level was high, but there were some points of concern, so I am posting a review with the desire to revisit. At check-in, we were told that our checkout time would be extended by 30 minutes to avoid congestion, which allowed us to relax. However, I thought it would be appreciated if this information was communicated in advance, as some people might have already scheduled plans afterward. There was no shower cap available, even though it was listed on the amenity bar, which was inconvenient during the morning bath. I think it's essential for an onsen property. It's a shame because other amenities, such as the hairdryer and steamer, were excellent. While dinner was smooth with a reservation system (mandatory), we were told breakfast was okay without a reservation, but we ended up waiting for about 20 minutes. I would prefer an optional reservation system for breakfast, similar to dinner. Additionally, IKYU's site mentioned there were no toothbrushes or pajamas, but there were toothbrush sets and samue, so we ended up bringing unnecessary luggage. I would like them to maintain not only their own website but also other platforms properly. Lastly, I'm not sure if it's an issue on the hotel's side, but I tried to connect an HDMI cable to the TV to watch videos, but it didn't display. Despite various attempts, I couldn't figure out the reason until the end. Guests who intend to use the TV as a display in the room should be cautious.

    Not a natural hot spring flow

    I watched Arisa Mizuki's TV drama and made a reservation. On the day I went, Hikari Ishida was also filming. Because of that, the area in front of the elevator was unusable for a few minutes. The footbath and round sofa in front of the front desk were picturesque spots as they were in front of the lake. The open-air bath in the room was very relaxing, but since it was on the lowest floor, it felt like a bear might appear, which was a bit scary. Unfortunately, it was not a natural hot spring but a circulated one, so there was a smell of disinfectant. I found out after returning that the temperature of the bath in the room was high, and there was a note saying it could be changed if I informed the front desk. It was troublesome to read the notice, and the text was very small, so I wish they had informed me verbally. The quality of the meat at the buffet was not very good. However, the variety of sweets and other dishes was abundant. The hairdryer in the large public bath was Dyson, and it dried quickly, which was nice.

    I always decide to stay here when I come to Hakone!

    I have stayed at Stays Hanawori more than 5 times but less than 10 times. There is a shuttle service from Odawara, so you can stop by a convenience store or bakery and head to Lake Ashi. It was my first stay at Stays Hanawori in half a year, and as expected, the onsen, meals, room, and scenery were all wonderful, providing both physical and mental relaxation. I was able to refresh and relieve my daily fatigue! I am impressed with how hard the staff are working. It seems that the number of inbound tourists is increasing significantly, but putting aside the manners, it's good that they can learn about the beauty of Japan. The staff handle many customers with a straightforward and kind service style, which feels fresh and characteristic of Hanawori. The buffet is always delicious with Japanese, Western, and Chinese options, and I particularly love the salads, which I always eat. The temperature of the onsen is just right. The well-maintained garden scenery is also nice and soothing. I will visit again!

    I stayed for the first time in early December with my 78-year-old mother and us three sisters. We had a deluxe Japanese-Western room on the 4th floor lakeside. The room with an open-air bath offering a great view of the lake and mountains was truly wonderful. However, it was quite far to the dining area and the large public bath. It was completely our mistake not to inform about the elderly person at the time of reservation. The dining area also offered a splendid view of Lake Ashi (Ashinoko) right in front, and breakfast had a wonderful view. (It was too dark to see during dinner) The facilities, including the bath, dining area, and room, were clean and very pleasant to use. Additionally, the lounge and the outdoor foot bath were comfortable and very relaxing. I am thinking of visiting again during the season of fresh greenery.

    It may be easy to us...

    It may be easy to use for young couples and foreigners. The spacious lobby, bright room, and modern feel were lovely. However, it was disappointing that the white stains on the wallpaper near the washbasin were not completely removed, and the bed was not properly fixed, causing it to move, which exposed the ties of the spare duvet cover under the bed. The food is recommended for those who prefer a stronger taste overall. There was a wide variety of dishes, and breakfast, in particular, was enjoyable with many options. As for the Onsen, since there are many foreigners with different cultural backgrounds, it would be nice to have a large and easy-to-understand English guide with simple illustrations on how to use the "kakeyu" (pre-bath rinsing). As a Japanese person, I felt uncomfortable seeing people enter the bath without rinsing.

    The location and facilities were excellent.

    The location is excellent, with a view of Lake Ashi and only a 5-minute walk to Togendai, and the Facility is clean and new, which was satisfying. Both dinner and breakfast were in buffet style and crowded, and the hospitality was somewhat lacking due to the small number of staff, but considering the price and location, it might be understandable.

    The price and service do not match.

    No particular issues with the entrance or front desk staff. Upon entering the Room, various problems were encountered. The Room was dry, so I decided to humidify it. When I took out the humidifier's tank, it was covered in limescale, as if it had been left unattended for ages. I had to start by cleaning the tray and filter. I used it after cleaning, but the air purifier, which was supposed to clean the air, ended up polluting it more. As a result, everyone in the Room ended up with symptoms like a cold, affecting their noses and throats. Additionally, when I tried to set up a facial steamer to add some humidity, it was also covered in dust. When I entered the shower booth and turned on the shower to warm up, the floor was slippery. There was red mold? in the corners. The wallpaper was peeling in places. The cushions had threads coming out. It felt undeniably cheap and poorly maintained. Furthermore, the dinner I was looking forward to was disappointing. For those who drink alcohol, the all-you-can-drink option might be good, but that's about it. There wasn't a single dish that I thought was delicious! As for the pork shabu-shabu, perhaps due to the dim lighting at the live kitchen, the meat was served red. Fearing food poisoning, I sent it back. Regarding the tantan udon, I requested plain udon, but without any response of whether it was possible or not, the staff went to the kitchen. Without any suggestion like "we can do it this way," what was served was just udon with the toppings removed. It clearly had bits of meat miso in it. I explained that my child couldn't eat it because it was too spicy, but the staff looked annoyed, so I accepted it as it was. Later, while walking down the hallway to go to the open-air bath at night, I passed by several staff members. They might have been part-time workers, but they were walking in a sloppy manner, chatting without concern for the guests passing by. They were walking spread out, so I had to step aside. What is this Hotel? Regarding the bed, the top mattress was slippery. Also, there was only one pillow. I couldn't choose the height, and I couldn't sleep at all... I had no choice but to fold a bath towel and use it as a pillow. It left the impression of a Hotel focused only on appearances, and I ended up just paying money to get sick. The foreign staff seemed more polite than the Japanese staff. I paid this much money for a Hotel with cheap content.
