    I made a Reservation...

I made a Reservation because it’s well-known and I wanted to stay at least once. It was disappointing that the bathroom was a unit bath. When I pulled the drain plug to refill with fresh water, it was clogged and took a long time to drain. The sink was the same—also clogged. There didn’t seem to be an exhaust fan in the unit bath, so when I tried to wash in the tub area, water ran down the shower curtain and soaked the floor, creating a big mess. There were also very few outlets; there wasn’t one by the bed for charging my phone, only behind the desk and TV and near the entrance, which was inconvenient. I was also disappointed that there were no amenities.

A Luxurious and Happy Trip for an Elderly Couple

After the Obon holidays, my spouse and I stayed at this Prince Hotel to relax. As always, we enjoyed watching Tokyo Tower in the distance, along with the Shinkansen and the Keikyu Line, and felt like kids again. What impressed us most was dinner at the Chinese restaurant—wonderful dishes that made the most of fresh ingredients, beautifully presented, with excellent flavor and generous portions. We enjoyed it at a leisurely pace with draft beer. We were also worried about breakfast crowds, but we were seated smoothly and fully enjoyed the lavish buffet. Good food makes you happy. Thank you very much. We will be back again.

    Great location.

Right in front of Shinagawa Station—very convenient. The parking is also easy to use. It’s a large Hotel with many Rooms, so it’s easy to secure a Reservation. Even at the last minute, Reservations are relatively easy to make, and I think it offers great value for money. I also like the lively atmosphere in the lobby with guests coming and going.

    About the Coin Laundry

Thank you for your hospitality. We enjoyed our Multiple Night Stay and the variety of breakfast options. It was also great that there were many coin laundry machines, but there were no chairs while waiting, and with so many people waiting it was tough to stand the whole time. We would appreciate it if you could provide a waiting area or lounge.

There was a strong smell of cigarette smoke.

While you can enjoy a beautiful view of Tokyo Tower from the Room, the Room in the tower across faces it directly, so you can see each other clearly and cannot open the curtains. The Room is old but well cleaned; however, unfortunately the strong cigarette smell cancels out any sense of cleanliness. Although it was crowded during the holiday period, there was not much noise and I was able to sleep well.

    Great location.

It’s about a 3-minute walk from Shinagawa Station, so it’s convenient to leave your luggage and head out. The view from the window is also fun—you can watch the Shinkansen and other trains. You can also take a free shuttle bus to the nearby Prince Hotel and visit its lovely garden.

Thanks to the self check-in system, we were able to check in at 2:00 PM. The station was nearby, and there were plenty of places to eat, which was very convenient.

    Lovely atmosphere.

There is also an underground parking lot with plenty of spaces, so I felt comfortable coming by car. It is close to shopping facilities and the station, making it convenient when going out from the Hotel. The atmosphere inside the Hotel was pleasant, and the staff were courteous and helpful at the front desk. Since it was a weekday, I was able to stay at a reasonable price.

    Great access!

Conveniently located near Shinagawa Station, with a bowling alley nearby, an aquarium, convenience stores, and a department-store-level variety of shops—it's a very fun area! However, perhaps because it’s such a massive Hotel, the crowds can be tiring. The breakfast buffet can also have very long lines depending on the time! Baggage storage may also involve waiting in line, so please allow extra time, and a QR code is required. We recommend staying with an understanding of each feature and characteristic.

    Disappointing Dinner

Used an Accommodation Plan that included a Chinese dinner. Generally, when a plan includes dinner, you would expect the meal to end with a staple (such as steamed white rice and pickles if the budget is limited). However, this plan offered only an appetizer and three stir-fried dishes. It is questionable to call this “dinner included.” With this content, it feels more like a set for drinks. Unless you have a small appetite or mainly drink alcohol, you will likely need to order additional food after the stir-fried dishes are served. If it is marketed as “dinner included,” designing the course in a way that encourages guests to spend even more feels unfair. I believe it would be more reasonable to reduce the stir-fried dishes to two and include soup, rice, and dessert as part of the set.

Convenient for Tokyo sightseeing with easy access via the Shinkansen.

You can reach the Hotel easily without getting lost after getting off the Shinkansen. Once you learn the route, it takes about 5 minutes on foot, which made it very convenient for sightseeing in Tokyo. On the first day we arrived around noon, and we were able to spend time at an aquarium and a movie theater, making good use of our time. Although it is a very large Hotel, the only wait was for luggage storage; check-in and check-out were smooth with self-service kiosks, and the elevators are roughly divided by floor ranges so they were not crowded. It was convenient for getting to Yokohama, Toranomon, Roppongi, Shibuya, and Shin-Okubo as well, and we had a great trip.

    It’s wonderful.

I stayed at Shinagawa Prince Hotel. The Room was spacious and clean. It was a wonderful Hotel that I definitely want to visit again. It did feel a bit old, but it was clean and relaxing, which has its own charm. Thank you very much.

I stay here about once a month for business trips, and I really appreciate the convenient location and the delicious breakfast. Sometimes I’d like to take my time and enjoy a relaxing Hotel stay. I’ll be back again in September, and I look forward to staying with you.

    Better than expected

The Room was small, which was disappointing. The level of service was not as high as I had expected.

    The Facility is aging.

This was my first time staying in the Main Tower.\nI was surprised at how old the Facility felt overall. I have stayed at the N Tower several times in the past, and once each at Grand Prince Hotel Takanawa and Shin Takanawa. Compared with those, my satisfaction with the Main Tower was quite low.\nI don’t think I will stay in the Main Tower again. You really don’t know until you actually stay there.

    I made a Reservation...

I made a Reservation for two Rooms with Online Credit Card Payment. On the day, I was instructed to check in using the terminal and went to it. However, it seemed that the terminal only allows check-in procedures one Room at a time, so I informed the front desk that I could not complete the procedure for the second Room. They replied quickly, “It’s because the guest name for the second Room hasn’t been registered. I’ll register it now, so please tell me your name.” Even when I asked them to handle the check-in for the other Room on the spot, they curtly told me to use the terminal. Although no one was waiting behind me, their attitude left me feeling dissatisfied. To my understanding, IKYU did not have a field to register guest names separately for each of the two Rooms. Also at this Hotel, I saw inbound guests sitting in the hallway and making long phone calls, among other things... (I don’t think this is necessarily an issue on the Hotel’s side.) Overall, if you are using it just to sleep like this time, it may be convenient since access is good.

This time I stayed in the annex. The room was on the small side, and the Facility felt a bit dated. I chose a plan without breakfast, but it included a JPY 2,000 dining voucher that can be used at affiliated outlets. Before checkout, I used the voucher to buy bread; unfortunately, the selection and available quantities were somewhat limited. The staff were all very kind and professional. The hotel is very close to the station with an excellent location. It is connected to a department store, making shopping very convenient. This time I also used the hotel’s parcel receiving service—definitely a plus for travelers who shop online!

    Long-term stays are also available.

Its convenient location near the station, with convenience stores and restaurants nearby, is very helpful, so whenever I visit Tokyo I always stay at a Prince property. This was my first time staying in the Annex Tower. The closet and bathroom felt a bit dated, but there were plenty of power outlets where I needed them, and having a desk, table, and vanity made the room very practical. However, the bathtub still felt rough to the touch and was unpleasant; aside from that point, it is a Hotel suitable for long stays.

Conveniently located in front of Shinagawa Station

Located right in front of Shinagawa Station, it’s extremely convenient. As there are several towers, please make sure you confirm which building it is. There is a small arcade and convenience stores on the 1st and 2nd floors, which is also very handy. It’s not luxurious, but you can relax more than at a typical business hotel.

    Enjoy your Hotel stay

We stayed one night in a corner twin with large windows with our 6- and 4-year-old children, who had been getting a bit restless at home. The panoramic view was amazing—Tokyo Tower, Shinkansen trains, airplanes, helicopters, and police cars. The kids were glued to the window. The adults were able to relax as well. Thank you for accommodating our request for a train view.

    The location is good.

Its location near Shinagawa Station was very convenient, so it was easy to arrive late at night by Shinkansen. Breakfast was also excellent, with a salad bar and freshly made rice balls, and the atmosphere was very pleasant.

    For business use.

I stayed here for business. It had been a while since my last stay. Since it’s a large Hotel, I got a bit lost at first (lol). However, the staff were very kind and gave me clear directions.\nSome amenities like toothbrushes and cotton swabs were no longer provided, but since there are many international guests, I think that’s better. The quality of the in-room shampoo and conditioner was great—my hair felt so smooth.\nI booked a no-meals Plan, but there’s a convenience store, so it wasn’t an issue. I use the Shinkansen, so it was very convenient being close to the station. I’d like to stay again.

I was looking forward to breakfast, but.

I stayed here after a live show in Haneda. The location is convenient, close to Shinagawa Station. It would have been even better if I could have gotten there without getting wet in the rain. The room is like a typical Business Hotel, and the bathroom facilities feel a bit dated. If you’re just looking for a place to sleep, it’s fine. Personally, I woke up early looking forward to the breakfast buffet. The dining area is spacious and airy, but the food was average—not particularly memorable. The freshly made rice balls were a nice touch, though. Since I stayed on a weekday, the menu might be different on weekends, but because I was really looking forward to breakfast, it was a little disappointing.

    Great value for money.

As a smoker, the smoking room was nice. However, the entire floor smelled of cigarettes, and the odor even got into my clothes. A Multiple Night Stay on the top floor in central Tokyo is satisfying considering the great location. I think the age of the building itself can’t be helped.

I stayed on a lower floor, and they didn’t even provide basic amenities like razors or hairbrushes. I probably won’t stay here again.

    It was conveniently ...

It was conveniently located near the station. The meals were delicious as well. Thank you very much. However, there were many details to enter at check-in, which took a bit of time. If possible, I would appreciate it if the process could be simplified, such as reducing the need to enter an email address.

    Thank you for your consideration.

We stayed with our 1-year-and-10-month-old grandchild and requested a bed guard. Thanks to that, we were able to rest with peace of mind. There were also cute children’s slippers in the Room, which delighted our grandchild. There is a convenience store and a Yamato Transport counter in the building, which was very convenient.

    It was very disappointing.

It was a corner Room on the 17th floor, but the moment I got off the elevator, the strong smell of cigarette smoke was so overwhelming it made me feel sick. Although it was a non-smoking Room, the odor in the hallway on the way to the Room was so strong that it even clung to my clothes. I chose Shinagawa Prince Hotel—has this become normal now? I’m very disappointed.

    Close to the station. Convenient.

I had used the aqua park, cinema, and Hotel lunch before, but this was my first stay. It’s close to the station, and the Facility has an aquarium, cinema, bowling alley, and a food court, which is very convenient. The Room is small but neat and clean, and we enjoyed the night view. My child was especially happy to see the bullet train from the Room. We chose the breakfast buffet; it offered a wide variety of options and everything was delicious. I also loved that you can order on the spot and have fresh rice balls made for you. Rice balls are available at other hotels too, but I really appreciated that they cut fresh fruit to order right there. The kiwi was juicy and sweet. Since amenities are not provided in the Room, it felt inconvenient that you have to request them at the front desk to receive them. I was also very disappointed that I couldn’t get a hairbrush.
