    The worst Room

    Recently, my family of three stayed for one night. I thought I had reserved a non-smoking room, but it turned out to be my mistake as I had booked a smoking room. I requested several times to change the room and even offered to pay extra for a non-smoking room, but the front desk informed me that no rooms were available. When I tried booking another room online, I found a non-smoking room and confirmed with the front desk again, but they still said it was not possible. Although it was my own mistake in making the reservation, there was no deodorizing treatment provided. The room smelled very bad, and even from the elevator area to the hallway, everything reeked of cigarette smoke. It was an extremely unpleasant hotel stay.

    This is my fifth stay.

    The view from the window is excellent. You can enjoy watching various trains, including Keikyu and JR Yamanote Line. The weather was favorable, making for a pleasant stay. Thank you very much. I will use this service again.

    Stayed with three fr...

    Stayed with three friends. The room was spacious, and we could easily open our suitcases without any issues. Conveniently located near the station, with plenty of dining options nearby. Above all, the aquarium inside the hotel was amazing. At night, we enjoyed a relaxing and wonderful time at the rooftop dining bar with a view of Mount Fuji. Would love to stay here again!

    Stayed with the Anne...

    Stayed with the Annex Tower Breakfast Plan. I had heard the buffet was excellent, but my impression was that it was average. The pricing was reasonable, which was good, but the room felt small and somewhat humid. The TV was mounted on the side wall relative to the bed, making it hard to watch. I've stayed at various Prince Hotels before, but this one felt as small as a Business Hotel, so I don't think I'll stay here again.

    Lack of amenities

    It was a sudden accommodation, so I entered without research. Since the only amenity provided was a toothbrush, it was inconvenient. The convenience store was also hard to locate; guidance might have reduced the inconvenience.

    So this is what the Hotel has become.

    Stayed here after a long time. I used to stay for shareholder meetings before. Upon entering the Room, I noticed only a toothbrush was provided as an amenity. I wondered if this wasn’t the Main Tower and called the guest room service, only to be told that amenities are placed on floors 28 and above—none for lower floors. Was this Hotel always like this? It used to feel like an old yet proud Hotel. Still, when I requested a razor, the staff kindly brought it to my Room.

    Conveniently located...

    Conveniently located near Shinagawa Station, I always use this as my base Hotel. The Room is comfortable and user-friendly. Since the Room only provides a toothbrush, it would be great to have a selection corner on the front floor where guests can choose items like cotton pads, cotton swabs, or bath towels for body washing if needed. Please consider this suggestion. I look forward to staying again.

    Satisfied with the affordable price even on a Saturday.

    I stayed here again after about 10 years since I used to visit frequently. I was surprised by the number of foreign guests. Both check-in and check-out were done through machines, and it went smoothly. However, I decided not to include breakfast as my 60-year-old and 80-year-old family members wouldn't eat much. It would have been nice to have a breakfast option within the facility priced in the 2,000 yen range per person. The buffet breakfast at approximately 4,700 yen is not suitable for elderly guests. The access was convenient, and the stay was comfortable.

    It's been a while.

    It had been a while since my last visit. The age of the Room and water facilities is noticeable, but the convenience of access at Prince is still excellent. With a convenience store and drugstore on-site, as well as plenty of restaurants, you can shop without getting wet even in the rain. I also appreciate that water is still provided in bottles. I would definitely like to stay here again when I have business near Shinagawa.

    I arrived early, but...

    I arrived early, but they allowed me to check in right away. While it can't be helped during busy times, I appreciate their flexible service and often choose to stay here. The breakfast buffet opens at 6 AM, which is something you don't see at other Hotels. This early start is perfect for early risers like us. The barbecue chicken and freshly made rice balls here are our favorites. They cook them right in front of you, making them incredibly delicious.

    It was a mystery of the day...

    It would have been appreciated if we could choose between smoking and non-smoking. For non-smokers placed on a smoking floor, the smell was unpleasant right from stepping out of the elevator... it was tough. The Room also smelled, so I had to run the air purifier at full power until morning.

    There were indeed many guests. It is a classic and charming Hotel. I didn't know the pool was closed.

    The Room feels like ...

    The Room feels like a Business Hotel... It might feel a bit cramped if you have luggage. What was unpleasant is that every time the neighboring Room opened or closed their door, my Room's door would shake... I don't think it's suitable for relaxing. However, it's convenient for visiting leisure spots like the aquarium and movie theater, so that's a plus.

    I stayed in a west-facing room, and the view was absolutely stunning! Although it was unfortunately cloudy on the day of my stay, I still enjoyed the night view. With no buildings nearby to obstruct the scenery, it offers a great view. The lobby and hallways have a luxurious feel, but I felt that the room's facilities were slightly outdated. The accommodation includes facilities like bowling, a movie theater, and an aquarium, making it enjoyable even on rainy days. Since my stay was last-minute, I opted for no meals included and didn’t dine or interact much with staff; therefore, I would rate that aspect 3 stars.

    Rifa's appliances and amenities were excellent.

    The room was small but sufficient for sleeping. The bathroom had a smoky smell, which was unpleasant. It was great to have access to Rifa's hairdryer, iron, and shampoo! No stress about hair care! It rained the next day, but being close to the station was very convenient.

    We had a truly wonderful time.

    I have stayed at Prince several times, but this was my first time staying in the Annex Tower. I planned to go to Disney in the evening, so checking in after 3 PM and taking a short rest was perfect timing. The price was reasonable, the Room was clean, and I was very satisfied. Being on a high floor, the city lights outside were beautiful. The amenities were simple with just towels, toothbrushes, and soap, which felt refreshing. Since it was hot outside, being close to the station was also a big plus. There were truly no complaints at all. I'm looking forward to staying here again next time! Thank you!

    Shinagawa Prince was great.

    I stayed at Shinagawa Prince Hotel again this time to go to Haneda Airport the next day. The view from the room was great, and the room had a comfortable size, which made me very satisfied. However, due to heavy rain, my flight was canceled, and I had to stay an extra night unexpectedly. Although waiting at the airport and traveling back and forth was exhausting, I reaffirmed that this hotel is the closest (and fastest) accommodation to the airport where you can relax in a comfortable room. After about 30 minutes from the airport, I rechecked into the hotel and enjoyed relaxing by admiring the view from my room, lying on a comfortable bed, or soaking in a bathtub to relieve my fatigue. The next day, I refreshed myself with a walk around my favorite greenery in Takanawa and Shirokane before heading home. This time more than ever, I truly felt glad about staying at Shinagawa Prince Hotel. Thank you very much! Looking forward to staying again!

    Above all, the location!

    This time, I stayed in the Main Tower. I arrived at the hotel before 3 PM due to my schedule. I tried using the self-check-in machine just in case, and surprisingly, I got my room key without any issues! It was truly helpful.

    Is it a Business Hotel?

    It was a twin Room on a lower floor. Amenities included room wear, towels, flat slippers, toothbrushes, cups, and other basic necessities. The air conditioning switch is a dial-type thermostat that you turn to adjust the temperature. The airflow can be adjusted by turning the dial near the bedside. The Room size is fairly standard for a twin Room. The toilet did not flush well; sometimes it took about three flushes to clear toilet paper. Inside the Hotel, the building layout feels like a maze with interconnected sections. Since it’s close to Shinagawa, there are dining options outside of the Hotel as well, making it convenient for Shinkansen users.

    Convenient access from Haneda, and I have used this accommodation multiple times. I have stayed at several hotels around Shinagawa, but I always end up coming back here. The building shows some age, but it has the lively atmosphere of a large hotel. The self-check-in machines are a great feature, allowing for smooth access to your room.

    Located just a short walk from Shinagawa Station, this accommodation is incredibly convenient and ensures peace of mind even when working late in an unfamiliar area. In addition to its excellent location, you can relax in the bathtub, enjoy a comfortable bed, and all at a very reasonable price. I look forward to staying here again!

    It was great.

    Just a few minutes' walk from Shinagawa Station. The rooms, front desk, and restaurant were all impeccably clean, making for a comfortable stay. I stayed on the 25th floor of the Main Tower. Towels, nightwear, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, facial cleanser—everything was provided so I didn’t need to bring anything. There was even a charger available. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of delicious options. To access your room via the elevator, you need to tap your room card on what looks like a board for the destination buttons to light up. At first, I didn’t understand and kept pressing the buttons without success until another guest kindly explained it to me.

    Conveniently located with everything you need around the Hotel, you can run errands without needing an umbrella even during scorching heat or rain. It’s a great help for me, traveling with two large suitcases after returning from the U.S.

    We always choose this accommodation when using Haneda Airport or Shinagawa Station for the Shinkansen. The convenient location near the station, spacious rooms where you can open a suitcase, family-friendly facilities, and dining options make it the best accommodation for our family. This time, we sent an email in advance requesting a room with a view of the night scenery or Tokyo Tower, thinking it might not be possible. Despite being such a large hotel, they responded promptly and arranged exactly what we requested on the day of our stay. Thank you so much! The reception staff were efficient and polite; however, I feel it would have been even better if they had been a bit more cheerful with smiles.

    I stayed here for my...

    I stayed here for my wife's birthday. The Room was on the tower side, which was great. Although the weather wasn't ideal that day, we could still enjoy the beautiful night view, and she was delighted. The amenities were quite limited, which I hadn't checked beforehand, but having a convenience store nearby solved any issues. I would like to visit again if I have the chance.
