    Conveniently located near the station, it offers excellent access for both sightseeing and business.

    I stayed from February 13 to February 15. The building is a bit old, and there are many international guests, but it’s close to Shinagawa Station, so the location is very convenient for getting around. Breakfast is a buffet on the first floor. There are plenty of options, but the dining area is so large that it can be a little tiring to walk around to pick up food.

    Shinagawa Prince Hotel Main Tower

    I’ve always loved Prince Hotels and always stay with them whenever I come to Tokyo, but this was my first time at the Shinagawa Prince Hotel. The night view from the Room was amazing—I could gaze at my beloved Tokyo Tower the whole time, and I was able to take great photos too. It was a truly moving shot.\n\nThis time I stayed at the Hotel with almost no plan, and while wondering where to have dinner, I found my favorite Chinese cuisine right here: Shinagawa Hanten on the 4th floor. When I checked on my phone, I saw information that guests can enjoy a special discounted rate, so we headed there right away.\n\nEverything was delicious—beautifully presented and truly tasty Chinese food—and we were very satisfied with dinner. We enjoyed a Chinese course for 4,500 yen. We are in our late senior years, but my husband and I said we should come back every six months—like taking a trip—just to enjoy this Chinese meal.\n\nThe beautiful night view and delicious food made it wonderful. We will stay again.

    The Hotel does not accept courier shipments outside the designated hours.

    At night and early in the morning, the Hotel does not accept courier shipments and directs guests to send them from the adjacent convenience store. However, the nearby convenience store is extremely crowded, mainly with foreign customers, and the staff are not familiar with handling courier shipments, so the process is not smooth. This can be very inconvenient when you are short on time, so we would appreciate improvements.

    The breakfast is amazing—definitely add it.

    It was my first trip in a while, and I wasn’t sure what to do since I didn’t have any site points. When I opened IKYU again after a long time, there were plenty of good deals, and I was able to book at a great price with instant use. There are Prince hotels in many regions, but this was my first time staying at this one. With Shinkansen access and easy travel anywhere in central Tokyo, it was very convenient. As for the bath facilities, many Accommodations offer large public baths these days, so if that’s what you’re looking for, I wouldn’t particularly recommend it. However, everything was kept very clean. I debated whether to add breakfast and decided to do so—and I’m glad I did. Everyone’s taste is different, but personally I was very satisfied. I thought a light meal would be enough, but I ended up eating well. Since they have to accommodate many guests it can’t be helped, but it would be nice if there were a bit more space between tables. I really enjoyed my stay in Tokyo and would like to use this Accommodation again next time.

    Wonderful hospitality

    I recently stayed at the Shinagawa Prince Hotel in Tokyo. Since I hadn’t visited Tokyo in years, I was really looking forward to it. We stayed in a high-floor Room and enjoyed a beautiful view of Tokyo Tower. The Room was very well cleaned, and we had a comfortable stay. The front desk staff were also excellent. Although it was crowded on the day we arrived, they were very kind and handled everything smoothly. This stay was truly wonderful, and I would definitely like to stay here again when I visit Tokyo next time.

    Nice view

    I stayed here because I was using Haneda Airport. As you’d expect from a large Hotel, there were plenty of shops and restaurants to enjoy. The view from the Room was excellent, and I was able to relax and spend time comfortably in the Room. Thank you very much.

    It snowed on the day, but the location near Shinagawa Station made getting around easy.

    As expected! Shinagawa Prince Hotel

    It’s a very nice Hotel with a great location, and access from the airport was smooth. As soon as you exit the ticket gates, Shinagawa Prince is right in front of you—no chance of getting lost! There are stylish restaurants around the Hotel, as well as casual places where you can grab a beer, and even the famous Jojoen nearby. I felt completely satisfied without having to go anywhere else. We could see Mt. Fuji from our Room and watched the sunrise every morning. Of course, the night view was also spectacular—we took photos together as a couple! The only thing that concerned me was the toilet buttons; I think they should be replaced with newer ones. Part of enjoying a Hotel—especially for women—is expecting the elegance associated with Prince Hotels. I’d like to stay again if I have another opportunity.

    A clean, relaxing hotel

    Due to circumstances, my eldest son and his wife stayed here, and they said it was very clean and wonderful. It made a great gift. Next time, we would like to stay ourselves.

    Check-in

    Even though the front desk was not busy, I was encouraged to use the self check-in because it was faster. It required entering my Reservation Number, which was confusing. I didn’t use it, but the in-room air purifier was broken.

    Recommended near the station

    Stayed in Shinagawa for Theater Shiki and Ginza shopping. Great location and the breakfast was very delicious.

    Used for standard use and found the service reasonable. The Shinagawa to Takanawa Gateway area is undergoing large-scale construction, which makes it a bit unsettling. This is not the Hotel's fault.

    Stay for 2 nights

    We stayed for two nights with my mother in her 80s and my elementary school-aged child. The accommodation is conveniently located near Shinagawa Station. They kindly lent us a bath mat without a reservation for my mother and child. Although we chose a plan without meals, I heard that when my mother and child went to breakfast without a reservation, the staff kindly explained the buffet to them. It seems they also helped carry trays to their seats, which we greatly appreciated. The croissants from Boulangerie Shinagawa were delicious. The room was clean and well-maintained, and the cleaning staff were very kind and left a good impression on us. We would love to stay here again next time!

    It was comfortable.

    It was a comfortable stay. Despite staying in the Main Tower, I never had to wait for the elevator. However, there were long lines when dropping off and picking up luggage, which I think could be improved. The QR code system seemed to take more time instead of speeding things up. The guest room itself was very comfortable.

    The location is excellent, so I often use this accommodation. However, the showerhead in the Room (Annex Tower) could not be adjusted and ended up hitting the opposite wall. Water leaked through the gaps in the shower curtain, leaving the bathroom soaking wet. It was very inconvenient as I had to hold the showerhead to wash myself. I would love to stay again, so I kindly request an improvement to the showerhead.

    I stay at the Prince for about one month each year.

    Shinagawa Prince Hotel has significant variations in room quality. The high floors of the Annex have been renovated with enhanced amenities, while the lower floors only provide a toothbrush as an amenity. Bathrooms on lower floors often appear neglected, with old fixtures removed and replaced by bottles. I stay at Takanawa Prince and Tokyo Prince for about a month each year, but I was told that no services are provided unless booked directly. Even as an IKYU Diamond Member, there seems to be no added convenience. While there is a strong focus on domestic resorts in Japan, I prefer overseas resorts for vacations. Please enhance benefits for domestic hotels that can be used regularly.

    Main Tower (Upper Floors)

    I requested a Tokyo Tower view when making the reservation and was able to stay in the desired room. I stayed with my daughter, and she was very happy!! The breakfast buffet was also very delicious. As mentioned in other comments, it was disappointing that there were few amenities and no skincare products. However, overall, I was satisfied! I would love to use this accommodation again!

    The night view is breathtaking!

    Stayed for two nights from January 10, 2026. While not brand new, the accommodation was clean and simple, with exceptional convenience. Being on the 25th floor, the night view was breathtaking. I stayed in the Main Tower, but there are four buildings in total. I managed to explore up to the East Tower, but covering everything within two nights was impossible. I would love to stay again once Shinagawa Station undergoes its renovation. Thank you very much!

    HAPUNA offers a delightful breakfast experience.

    The plumbing facilities are undeniably outdated; the bathtub's design causes water to overflow if the shower pressure is too strong, and the sink stopper doesn't function well, leading to poor drainage and sealing. If these aspects are important to you, opting for a newer Business Hotel would be much more comfortable. However, shared facilities like elevators and lobby check-in terminals have been updated, offering decent convenience. Personally, I enjoy HAPUNA in the main tower as a breakfast venue. With its high ceilings, spacious layout, and wide variety of dishes, it provides an enjoyable experience—especially when there are many international guests creating an overseas atmosphere. Be aware that during peak times there can be long lines; however, once seated inside you won't feel rushed at all. For those who want to fully enjoy their breakfast experience without feeling hurried, this is highly recommended.

    Friend's Birthday

    The breakfast buffet at Hapuna was delightful, and my friend also enjoyed it. The relaxed checkout time added to our satisfaction. For dinner, we celebrated with a meal at one of the many nearby restaurants. Away from the usual hustle of daily life, we had a wonderful time chatting in a Room with a view of Tokyo Tower.

    Great value for money

    Stayed for two nights for a concert in Tokyo, and the location and cost performance were excellent! The age of the Room and Facility cannot be denied, but the service and response at check-in and check-out at the front desk were very good.

    The front desk service was excellent!

    Upon checking in and entering the Room, I was disturbed by loud voices and noises from the neighboring Room, such as doors and closets being shut loudly. When I consulted the front desk, they promptly responded by saying, "We will change your Room; please kindly come to the front desk." After that, I was able to rest peacefully without worrying about any noise from next door. Thank you very much.

    The discontinuation of amenities was not known. It can be found by carefully checking the reservation site. At check-in, there was no explanation about "toothbrush only." Is it possible to purchase razors and other items? It was unclear, and since it was late at night, I gave up. At a different hotel, there was an explanation at check-in, and I purchased a razor.

    The amenities such as shampoo were fine, and the mattress had a comfortable firmness for a good night's sleep. The Room was small but clean and decent. However, the teacup for making tea was disappointing. While the kettle quickly boiled water, pouring it into the teacup made it too hot to hold. Waiting for it to cool down made the tea taste unpleasant. I ended up using paper cups instead, which felt somewhat unsatisfying.

    It's a city Hotel, right?

    Due to SDGs initiatives, amenities such as shower caps are not provided in the room except for toothbrushes. I only noticed this at the time of bathing. While this might be understandable for a Business Hotel, I would expect these amenities to be available in the Room at a City Hotel.
