    Approximately a 5-minute walk from Shinagawa Station, the location is convenient and safe with plenty of foot traffic even late at night. The room is slightly small but well-cleaned, making it suitable for business stays focused on accommodation only. Check-in and sending parcels may take some time, so it's recommended to allow extra time.

    Breakfast

    The breakfast venue is very spacious and nice, but the price feels slightly high for the content. I would like to use it again if there are changes to the menu. The room was on the station side, so there was no view, but I could barely see the tower at the edge. The interior and bath/toilet are like a business hotel, but the bed was extremely comfortable. With Sakura Tower nearby, we enjoyed seeing cherry blossoms in full bloom during this season. While accommodation costs are generally high during this period, Shinagawa Prince Hotel offers reasonable pricing, which is appreciated. Check-in for foreign guests takes a long time; please consider measures to address this issue. Passports are required for foreign guests. Even if booked under a Japanese name, make sure passports are prepared when foreign guests stay; otherwise check-in may take longer than expected. I look forward to staying here again in the future!     I stayed here for a ...

    I stayed here for a business trip. Since it’s convenient for transportation, I always choose the Prince chain in Shinagawa. This time, I stayed at the Annex Tower for the first time. The route to the front desk and Room was quite long, and moving around inside took some time. It’s a large Hotel with many related Facilities, so it’s understandable. There are elevator transfers as well, so if you want to minimize walking distance, considering the Main Tower or East Tower might be better. Since it was heavy rain, being close to the station was definitely helpful. Although I usually only use it for sleeping purposes, the Room was sufficient and satisfactory (I didn’t use any spa services, so my bath rating is 3). Looking forward to staying again!

    Many small groups! The check-in process took some time. The self-check-in system did not meet the conditions, and a message directed us to the front desk. A staff member walking among the check-in lines kindly assisted us. Much appreciated! As this is a historic hotel, it is understandable that the building and facilities are somewhat dated. However, it is a clean and well-organized accommodation.

    Lining up at the front desk late at night is...

    I usually don't feel dissatisfied with hotels, but I was very tired from a late-night check-in and used the self-check-in system. However, I couldn't complete the process because a message appeared saying, "Please visit the front desk as we have something to inform you." There was a long line at the front desk. Despite being exhausted, I waited over 10 minutes to reach the counter. When it was finally my turn, all they asked was if I wanted to change my room to a double. To make guests wait so long late at night and not allow self-check-in for such a trivial matter—this is quite disappointing service quality. Considering how high occupancy rates are due to inbound tourism, it might be better to invest in updating facilities. The building itself is fairly impressive as a relic of the bubble era, but guest rooms fall far behind even standard business hotels. While this may be beyond what on-site staff can control, I hope they continue doing their best!

    A Couple's Trip After 20 Years

    I made a reservation the day before and got a great deal. The room on the 37th floor (smoking) was small, but the view was amazing. The night view, in particular, was stunning. While the air purifier was nice, I wished for better ventilation. I would love to stay again. Next time, I want to try dining at the food court inside the hotel. There are affordable options available, which is reassuring.

    This was our first stay at this Prince Accommodation in the Shinagawa area. It was the first time we had to wait in such a long line to leave our luggage, but considering the hotel's capacity, it seems understandable. Honestly, we didn't have high expectations, but since it was a special trip, we requested a room with a nice view in advance. We were given a room on a high floor with an amazing view of Tokyo Tower right in front of us—it was breathtaking for both of us. My husband was thrilled and said he could look at this view forever. The photos would have been even better if the weather had been nicer, but we were more than satisfied. It became a wonderful memory for us. Thank you very much!

    First-time Accommodation

    Based on the accommodation fee of 11,000 yen: Shinagawa Prince Hotel has always been a hotel I wanted to stay at. I stayed in the Main Tower but entered through the East Tower and checked in using an automated check-in machine. After checking in, a nearby staff member handed me a paper with directions and pointed to the elevator. I took that elevator to the designated floor and searched for my room, but could not find the room number listed on the paper from the check-in machine. With no other choice, I returned to the lobby and looked around, eventually finding directions for the Main Tower. Staff handing out instructions should confirm which tower guests are staying in beforehand. For checkout, instead of using reception, guests place their key cards into a box; however, nearby staff were chatting with each other without greeting guests, which made me feel poorly treated.

    Surprised by the large number of inbound tourists!

    It had been a while since my last visit. The Hotel was bustling with more inbound guests than Japanese, but the self-check-in process was quick and convenient. The Room was comfortable, but one of the two beds seemed to be a pipe bed, which creaked every time I turned over, making it hard to ignore. Since it was self-check-in, I didn’t receive an explanation about the parking service ticket, which made it a bit confusing during payment.

    I felt like staying here again after 20 years.

    Stayed at Shinagawa Prince Hotel once in my 20s for a solo trip, and again in my 40s with my daughter. Somehow, I felt like staying at this lively and energetic Hotel again. With the addition of the Annex and N Tower, it’s even more active now. The location is super convenient, right by Shinagawa Station. Aqua Park was also a lot of fun! I thoroughly enjoyed the unlimited buffet at Hapuna as well—it was truly satisfying. The Room may not be cutting-edge, but it was comfortable enough to relax and enjoy my stay. I’ll visit again for another special occasion. Thank you very much!

    This is my regular accommodation.

    Amid the recent surge in hotel prices, I am grateful to have stayed at this accommodation with such a convenient location at a reasonable price. I stayed on one of the higher floors of the Main Tower and was lucky enough to have a view of Tokyo Tower, which was very satisfying. The breakfast buffet is around 3,600 yen for adults. It felt expensive, and the long lines and noisy atmosphere made it unappealing. I would prefer a more relaxed dining option if available.

    Old Hotel

    Stayed for personal reasons. Although the price on Friday and Saturday was better compared to other hotels, the room, amenities, and service did not match the cost. I didn’t have high expectations for a Prince Hotel, but I was shocked by the extremely condescending attitude of an elderly staff member managing the line at check-in in the main building. Such behavior is rare nowadays, especially since this hotel isn’t particularly high-end. It was surprising to see him being polite only to men and foreign guests. After waiting in line for a long time, I was told at reception that my reservation was actually for the Annex—this felt unkind as there had been no indication of this while checking my reservation during my wait. The young male staff member at the Annex front desk had a much better attitude, which was a relief. However, the room itself felt very old and cramped with a large step into the bathroom area. Amenities included only large bottles of shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and toothbrush sets—nothing else provided. There were two 500ml bottles of water in the room; however, bedding felt very thin and flimsy. If I had paid less than half of what I did this time around, it might have been acceptable—but given what I paid during this stay—it felt disappointing overall. Additionally: - No in-room dining available. - While close to the station geographically—the directions or signage leading toward accessing Annex were confusing enough that first-time visitors may struggle navigating easily. Unless absolutely necessary due to budget constraints or lack of options—I wouldn’t choose staying here again willingly!

    For dinner, you can choose your preferred course from "Shabu-shabu" or "Sukiyaki Hot Pot." However, when I requested Sukiyaki as it is my favorite, I was told that only Shabu-shabu was available. This was quite confusing.

    It was a pop and stylish Room.

    Stayed for two nights with my middle school son. Since Shinagawa Prince is an established hotel, I expected the Room to be old, but it was beautifully and skillfully renovated, making our stay much better than anticipated. The bathroom facilities were comfortable, and the interior design with red wallpaper and stylish furnishings was impeccable. The view from the 31st floor was amazing, offering a clear sight of Tokyo Tower. We could also see the trains coming in and out of Shinagawa Station continuously, which delighted my train-enthusiast son. We plan to stay at Shinagawa Prince again on our next trip to Tokyo!

    Accommodation on a high floor

    The room is approximately 20 square meters, not very spacious, but the view was excellent as it was on a high floor. If you dislike small spaces, a slightly larger room might be preferable.

    Affordable Luxury

    The large point back was a great opportunity, so I made a reservation. It was a no-meal plan, but I had dinner at the attached food court and breakfast at the attached convenience store. That said, the food court even had Jojoen, which made it hard to choose. Next time, I want to try the Japanese course meal at the Japanese restaurant. I would love to visit again.

    Surprise upon entering the Room!

    [Diamond Members Only] Reserved with a Special Offer. Due to the proximity of the accommodation date, it was at a low price. I was guided to a room on the 7th floor, and when I opened the curtains, all I could see was a large stone wall and a parking lot in front of me. I understood that being a Diamond Member with a low price results in such rooms. Although the woman at the front desk said, "Thank you for always using our accommodation," her attitude felt completely opposite.

    If I had to say, it would be nice to have coffee available in addition to Japanese tea. Every time I stay, the bedding is crisp and comfortable. Especially, the absence of lingering scents on the pillows is excellent. Sleep is key, so please continue maintaining this standard.

    Chosen for its long-standing reputation... However, the amenities were insufficient by today's standards, and some of the facilities, such as the washroom, lacked cleanliness. The reception service during check-in was also slightly unpleasant. It was disappointing given my high expectations.

    I had a relaxing time.

    It had been a while since my last visit, and I noticed an increase in international guests. The Room was clean with a great view. I wasn't sure how to adjust the air conditioning, but I slept comfortably. I would love to stay again. Thank you very much!

    Five-star is fine!

    The staff's service was pleasant from check-in to check-out (pleasant meaning comfortable). The reserved room had an amazing view, and at night, it was a romantic room with a view of Tokyo Tower. We booked with breakfast included, but since there was a line at the main tower's breakfast venue, the staff announced, "For those in a hurry, we can guide you to the annex breakfast venue." As we had travel plans and were in a rush, we opted for breakfast there. We enjoyed a very calm and satisfying breakfast experience. Having worked at a five-star hotel myself, I felt that the quality of Shinagawa Prince Hotel's staff was excellent. To put it bluntly, I think it's worth paying more than double the accommodation fee for this experience. I would love to stay here again. Thank you very much!
