    The sheets and pillowcases have an odor.

    I stayed in the Executive Room, but the sheets and pillowcases had an unpleasant smell. Are the staff part-timers? I’m not sure, but the Hotel Facility system guide contains errors. The shower pressure was weak, and there was mold in the bathtub. The shampoo and conditioner bottles also showed signs of prior use. As for the staff overall, they always start with "Please wait a moment," which makes guests feel like they are being kept waiting due to poor time management on the hotel's side. There were just too many issues...

    Multiple Night Stay

    I had a very pleasant stay. (Note) For Multiple Night Stays, it seems that the room will not be cleaned unless you place the sign in front of the door on the following day. Ice machines appear to be available on each floor.

    Room with Castle View

    The Room on the Castle view side had an excellent view, and we enjoyed the night scenery. The Room was clean and comfortable, allowing us to spend a pleasant three days. It would have been even more relaxing if the bathtub and washing area were separate.

    It was comfortable.

    We stayed as a family of three. The Hotel and Room were clean and very comfortable. The location was excellent. After taking a bus from Hiroshima Airport to the Bus Center, the Hotel was right next door, allowing us to leave our luggage and start sightseeing immediately. It was also convenient for visiting Miyajima; we walked from the Hotel to Peace Memorial Park nearby, where we took the World Heritage Route ferry, reaching Miyajima in about 45 minutes. Although we didn’t watch baseball, we visited Mazda Stadium, which was about 1,200 yen by taxi from the Hotel. There were various transportation options available for getting around, making it truly convenient. We will definitely stay here again when visiting Hiroshima!

    Disappointing

    When I stayed years ago, the room was very spacious, and the view from the window was excellent. However, this time, the room was small, and the view was disappointing.

    Everything was excellent.

    I made the Reservation at the request of my sister and her husband. Her husband chose RIHGA Royal Hotel based on his preference. When they upgraded the Room at check-in, it turned out to have a stunning night view, and they felt truly relaxed. Thank you very much.

    Could you please take special care when serving meals?

    As part of our stay on the Executive Floor, we had breakfast on the 33rd floor. While we understand the need for efficiency with a team of 3-4 staff members managing the floor, we would like to share two points for improvement: 1) Mismatch Between Serving Trays and Table Size We understand the intention to speed up service by using trays to deliver all items at once. However, when placing two trays on a table for two people, they are too large and end up colliding. This forces us to offset their placement, resulting in one person sitting at one end of the table and another at the opposite end. Despite the beautiful view and delightful offerings, this seating arrangement made it an uncomfortable experience. 2) Staff Service (Particularly Important) (If I recall correctly, this was a female staff member who was not wearing glasses nor appeared to be among younger staff.) Despite water being placed on our table already, she used both hands with her tray and pushed aside items while serving! Such behavior might be acceptable in casual eateries but is unheard of in establishments aiming for a luxurious atmosphere. When it came time to serve my spouse’s tray after mine had been placed as described above, she proceeded to push my tray aside with hers! I was so taken aback that I couldn’t even bring myself to point it out. While we appreciated other aspects such as room check-in services and amenities that aimed for high-level hospitality standards, unfortunately these incidents left a lasting impression. It has made us reconsider staying here during future travels.

    The bathroom was disappointing, but the Room was clean.

    It would be great if the public bath hours were extended to a later time at night. The Room has a 3-in-1 unit, but I was expecting to use the public bath, so I couldn't use it after watching the Carp baseball game.

    I had a relaxing stay.

    The 24-square-meter room was spacious and very relaxing. While the building is somewhat old with some wear in areas like the unit bath, updates to furnishings have been made, making it comfortable and easy to use. The presence of many staff members provided a sense of security, and I was able to enjoy a leisurely stay until check-out time in the morning.

    Prime Location

    Convenient access from the airport to the bus center, and just a few minutes to check-in. Located in front of the prefectural office with easy access to downtown, offering an excellent location. The view from the room is pleasant. The rooms are spacious, but the water-related Facility feels outdated. Bedding (pillow covers) still retains some odor; more effort in laundry would be appreciated. It would be nice if disposable slippers were provided by default (they are available upon request). Overall, it’s a Hotel I’d like to stay at again.

    Good location, but outdated facilities.

    Stayed in a Standard Twin Room with a family of three. Positive Points: - Being high-class, it provided a sense of security. - Excellent location. - Friendly staff. - When we requested a bed guard for our daughter, who tends to move around in her sleep, we were initially told there was none available. However, the front desk later called to inform us they managed to secure one. This allowed us peace of mind as she has previously fallen out of bed and gotten injured. - Great view from the room. - The breakfast venue was spacious and the food was delicious, though it lacked variety over two days. Negative Points: - Shared the bed with my second-grade daughter (Child Sharing Existing Bedding), but the bed width felt narrow. - Despite being high-class, it had a unit bath type setup. - The room wasn’t very spacious either. - We were offered an upgrade to Superior for an additional 3,000 yen per night but declined as staying two nights didn’t seem cost-effective for this option. - On the second morning, scrambled eggs turned out more like stirred eggs—disappointing for both me and my husband. Overall: Probably wouldn’t choose this accommodation again for another stay.

    Excellent access to tourist attractions!

    The location was excellent! You can walk to the Atomic Bomb Dome and Peace Memorial Park, and from the park, take a high-speed boat to Miyajima-guchi, making it very quick to reach Itsukushima Shrine. There are streetcars and buses available to Hiroshima Station, and with a one-day pass for the "Meipuru-pu" loop bus, you can visit Hiroshima Castle, Peace Memorial Park, and museums. Staying at RIHGA Royal Hotel Hiroshima was definitely the right choice!

    I stayed at the accommodation again, leaving behind the previous experience. I also had a pleasant conversation with the always courteous hotel staff. My apologies if I caused any inconvenience. Thank you for arranging the taxi (the taxi company staff always provide gentlemanly service). Additionally, I used Selena on the 6th floor for the first time (though there were limited food and drink options, it was nice that it wasn’t crowded). However, I decided to skip using the pool this time. I will continue to use your accommodation occasionally during my business trips to Hiroshima. Next month, I will be accompanied by my wife for a change.

    Spa Staff

    The convenient location next to the bus center and the excellent service provided by the front desk and staff at the 33rd-floor restaurant were highly appreciated. The staff was also very polite when storing our luggage before check-in and after check-out. However, when a family member went to use the spa, they were told beforehand that no items were needed, but upon arrival, they were informed that a confirmation form was required and received an unpleasant reaction. They also felt uncomfortable during directions given at that time and even considered asking for the staff member's name due to their dissatisfaction. Such an experience with one individual can unfortunately overshadow an otherwise positive impression of the entire stay.

    Room Odor

    The smell was not like tobacco or perfume, but likely from cleaning and disinfection. It felt extremely strong, even noticeable through a mask upon entering the room. This is a scent I often notice in large Japanese hotels. Perhaps it’s due to thorough disinfection and deodorization efforts given the number of rooms, but even after going out and returning at night, the smell lingered and was a bit overwhelming. I didn’t particularly notice it in public areas like elevators or near the front desk. However, since I didn’t see other reviews mentioning this issue, it might just be that I’m overly sensitive to such smells. The location is excellent, staff were very pleasant, and despite being a busy day with many guests, they expanded the breakfast area which left a positive impression. Unfortunately, the issue with the smell was disappointing for me.

    I stayed for 2 night...

    I stayed for 2 nights, but it was disappointing that the breakfast menu didn’t change. The window in the Room was smaller than what I saw in the photos beforehand, which was also disappointing. The Room's Wi-Fi connected but was too slow to use, so I ended up not using it—another disappointment. That said, overall I am satisfied and had a relaxing stay.

    This was a very disappointing stay.

    1. Breakfast has been moved earlier to 6:00 AM, increasing convenience. However, the menu has not changed much over the past year and feels somewhat outdated. 2. We always request Shuttle Service via taxi. The contracted taxi company provides excellent customer service. 3. Every time, we request a taxi after check-out the next day with Shuttle Service fees covered by us. Depending on the front desk staff, some ask for confirmation while others do not. It is always to ●● destination, so please take note of this in advance. 4. I almost always use the pool during my stay. At check-in this time, I confirmed payment for pool usage in advance but was informed that there was a free pool ticket available and no payment would be required this time around; usually, I pay at the club directly instead—this too got reconfirmed yet deemed unnecessary per their response initially! However upon visiting said club later-onwards contrary-to prior assurances they claimed otherwise (i.e., charged).     The space and facilities provided ideal conditions for a comfortable and relaxing stay.

    #1 At the front desk, when consulting about printing PC data or luggage delivery, the response lacked warmth and felt overly business-like. #2 At 9:30 AM, there was an inquiry to the Room asking if we would come for breakfast. We were woken up as we had overslept; it would be appreciated if partial service like a lunch pack could be offered.
