    A Conveniently Located, Peaceful Hotel

    I was very satisfied to be able to watch the Ujina Fireworks Festival on July 25 from a cool Room. It is close to Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park and Hondori, so I could access the Hotel without any stress. The Hotel has a relaxing atmosphere, and I would like to stay again if I have the opportunity.

    Outstanding hospitality

    I stayed at this Accommodation because it was close to the live venue. The Room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. However, I personally would have found it even more comfortable if the toilet and bath were separate. Above all, the staff were wonderful. Everyone greeted me with a smile and provided pleasant service. Thank you very much. If I have the chance to visit Hiroshima again, I would definitely like to stay here again.

    This was my first time visiting Hiroshima. It was very convenient, just a 5-minute walk to the place I wanted to go. The Room was also very clean and well maintained—just what I would expect from the RIHGA Royal Hotel. Thank you very much.

    Accommodation Check-in

    I, along with others, made a Reservation to stay here for a nearby concert. At check-in, there was a very long line and I waited for about an hour. I feel the Accommodation should have been better prepared for being fully booked during the two-day live event. Guests staying for business without knowing about the event were also made to wait in the same line, which I felt sorry for. It was quite crowded when I stayed last time as well, but aside from lining up for breakfast, it wasn’t this bad.

    Live at Hiroshima Green Arena

    I stayed here for a live concert at Hiroshima Green Arena. It was very close to the venue, which was a big help on a hot day. I was able to relax and had a great stay.

    We had a relaxing stay!

    I stayed here for a live concert at Hiroshima Green Arena. It’s within walking distance of the venue and also close to Hiroshima Station, so I use it often. The Hotel was quiet, and I was able to relax and spend my time comfortably. There was one disappointing thing. I’ve stayed here several times, and each time I take photos by the lovely flowers displayed at the front, but this time there were no flowers, so the entrance felt a little lonely. I will stay here again when I visit Hiroshima. Thank you very much.

    Excellent transportation access.

    Miyajima and the Simose Art Museum are very close via the Astram Line and JR, Hiroshima Station is close via the Hiroden streetcar, and the airport is accessible by limousine bus—all extremely nearby. The concert venue was also just a short walk away, which made getting back easy. Overall, I was very satisfied. On the Facility side, the air conditioner didn’t cool well, and perhaps the windows aren’t heat-insulating—sheer curtains alone weren’t enough to block the heat, so I used the blackout curtains even during the day. With outside temperatures reaching 35°C, it’s understandable.

    The view is spectacular.

    There wasn’t anything particularly special—just a wide-open sky view to enjoy through the large windows. The Room was spacious, letting me stretch out and relax my tired body and mind. The bedding and meals were just right, and I was satisfied.

    I will definitely stay here whenever I visit Hiroshima.

    The staff were excellent, and the Room was clean and very comfortable. It’s right next to the bus terminal, so access is convenient, with plenty of restaurants, convenience stores, and izakayas nearby. It’s also a great base for sightseeing by streetcar. The only area for improvement is that there can be long lines at check-in. There seems to be room for improvements such as quick check-in.

    Good is good.

    It was my first time in a while staying at the RIHGA Royal Hotel. It was as comfortable as expected. This was also my first time using the Executive Class, and everything from check-in onward went so smoothly that it felt like I received more than what I paid for. I also received wonderful amenities from IKYU, making it a perfect holiday. My sincere thanks to the two staff members who assisted with breakfast and check-in. I would definitely like to stay again. Thank you.

    A beautiful and luxurious Hotel

    There is also a department store nearby, and the Hotel felt more luxurious than the price suggests. The meals were buffet-style, and everything was delicious. The all-you-can-drink option was also great. It would have been even better if there had been a large public bath.

    We had a very pleasant stay. The pool and the public bath were especially great. Also, it was convenient that the convenience store is open until late. Breakfast was a bit repetitive; we would like to see about 10% of the menu change with the seasons.

    Thank you very much. The front desk staff, Room cleanliness, the view from the window, and the cleanliness of the bathroom—everything was great! Just one thing… I understand it was added later, but it was disappointing that the bidet control panel was positioned too far behind and was difficult to use. I think it would be good for the staff to try it as well.

    We used the pool.

    This time, I used the pool for the first time in a while. I don’t swim; I walk in the water, and after about an hour it was pleasantly tiring. The pool also has a jacuzzi, which warmed me up. The bath area was also very comfortable. Also, a popular discount supermarket has opened near the Hotel, so I stopped by.

    About Breakfast

    I stayed for two nights and was surprised that the breakfast was exactly the same both days. On the first day, they asked about the menu and allergies in advance, so when I went to the restaurant in the morning, I only had to give my name and was shown to my seat. However, on the second day, even after giving my name I was made to wait while they went to check at the back, and my fruit allergy had not been communicated—I was served fruit. When I pointed it out, they brought a plate with only that item removed. I would like them to confirm details in advance on the second day as well, or allow guests to choose a different restaurant for breakfast on the second day.

    Whenever I travel to Hiroshima with my parents once a year, this is the Hotel we make sure to stay at on the final night. Although more new competitor Hotels have appeared, every year we still end up saying to each other on the way home, “We’re glad we chose RIHGA for the last part of our trip.” This time, for the first time, I enjoyed a Multiple Night Stay of two nights at my favorite RIHGA Royal. The spacious Room on a high floor was very comfortable, with an impressive large table and chairs. The windows were exceptionally large with a wonderful view, and the bathroom vanity was incredibly spacious and easy to use. I usually feel sad having to check out after just one night, but this time I was able to fully enjoy my stay thanks to the two-night Multiple Night Stay. Thank you as well for accommodating my requests in advance. That said, compared with when I first visited RIHGA Royal, it feels like many services have been simplified recently. Including staff hospitality, it has often left me with a rather rushed impression. Beyond that magnificent building and Facility offerings, I hope RIHGA Royal will continue to ask itself what truly defines “RIHGA Royal.”

    A prestigious Hotel

    The first-floor front lobby has a traditional atmosphere. I had reserved a 24 m² Standard Twin Room, but they prepared a slightly larger Room for me. You can receive one bottled water at the front desk. Amenities included nightwear and slippers, as well as Sekkisei cleansing oil, toner, and emulsion. The bed was very comfortable, and I slept well. From the large window of my north-facing Room, I could see Hiroshima Castle. The breakfast buffet offered local specialties such as anago rice and Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki, all of which were delicious. While the Facility feels a bit dated, it was very clean overall and I was satisfied with my stay.

    Excellent location

    Due to a sudden change of plans, I booked the same-day “Room at Hotel’s discretion” Plan, and I was lucky to get a very nice Room. The Facility is a bit old, but the space is relaxing, and the toilet and other fixtures are newer, so it felt clean and comfortable. Above all, it’s very convenient—Peace Memorial Park, the Hiroshima Museum of Art, and streetcar and bus stops are all nearby. Early in the morning before breakfast, I enjoyed a quiet walk through Peace Memorial Park before it got crowded. The Hotel is also spacious, so it feels calm rather than noisy. It’s an excellent location as a base for sightseeing.

    Wonderful

    I stayed one night in Hiroshima for a concert. The location was convenient, and it seems to be a popular Hotel. It was very crowded. The service was excellent, and I had a comfortable stay. The Room was spacious and easy to use.

    The view is great.

    The Hotel is a high-rise, and our Room was on the top floor. The view was great. However, we felt there may not be many lights for a night view. Many sightseeing spots are concentrated nearby, so the location is convenient. All of the staff were kind and attentive.

    45th time

    The pool and the large public bath were great. The Room was also spacious and comfortable. The coin laundry was very convenient as well. The staff at the convenience store inside the Hotel are kind. That said, breakfast has become a bit repetitive (this is my 45th stay). I wonder if it could be refreshed about once every three months... (Occasionally it becomes a Japanese-style restaurant, which I really appreciate.)

    Pool Use and Valuables Safe

    This time, by using a service available only to IKYU members, we were able to use the members-only pool free of charge. It was our first time, and the Facility was excellent, making for a very comfortable experience. As always, the front desk staff and all employees were kind and courteous. Since we were using the pool, we planned to leave our valuables in the Room and use the in-room safe. However, the safe was placed directly on the floor, which made it hard to see and inconvenient for elderly guests who have to bend down. If it had been set upright or placed higher up, it might have been easier to see and use. It may not be used often, but I think it would be better if it were a bit more user-friendly.

    As always, we were able to relax and enjoy a leisurely stay. For breakfast, we chose the Japanese set meal and were able to dine in a calm atmosphere. It was great to have options such as a buffet or a set meal.
