    For your trip to Hiroshima

    I stayed here to visit my brother and his wife and my cousin who live in Hiroshima City. I traveled to Hiroshima with my parents and we stayed in two Rooms. Breakfast was served at the restaurant on the 33rd floor, and it was great to enjoy the meal with such a wonderful view. However, I was a little disappointed because I had expected a higher-quality selection of food. Check-in for our Room was very smooth with little waiting time, which I really appreciated. When I arranged to have our luggage shipped home on departure, the cloakroom staff member who assisted us was extremely kind, and I truly felt their high level of hospitality.

    To visit my grandchild

    I stayed here to visit my son and his wife and my grandchild who live in Hiroshima City. My daughter and her family also came along, and we stayed in two Rooms. The building is over 30 years old, so it did feel a bit dated, but I appreciated that key areas had been renovated. Overall, I was generally satisfied. Breakfast was served at the restaurant on the 33rd floor, but I was a little disappointed as I had expected something of a higher standard. The croissants were delicious. Room check-in involved very little waiting time, which I was very pleased with. One more thing: it would have been nice if the drinks in the Room refrigerator had been included.

    At first, the Hotel ...

    At first, the Hotel seemed quite nice, but the parking area at the entrance felt a bit poorly managed, which surprised me. However, once inside the Hotel, they upgraded our Room, and it was spacious with plenty of drinks and amenities. The view was great, and we were able to relax. Personally, I would prefer a separate bathroom and toilet rather than having two toilets (haha). The Christmas tree and the nearby illuminations were also beautiful. Thank you very much.

    Cleaning for Multiple Night Stay

    Cleaning was not done during the multiple night stay, and there were no signs of entry. It seems that a card indicating a request for cleaning needs to be hung. While I requested towel replacement and they brought them, there was no replenishment of coffee or water. There were also no written instructions provided. When I mentioned this at the front desk, they asked if I had seen an explanation, but I had not received one. I have stayed at various hotels before and have seen "Do Not Disturb" cards, but I assumed that towel replacement, trash disposal, and amenity replenishment would still be done. Has it become standard not to provide these services?

    Disappointed despite looking forward to it...

    On the first day, I made a reservation through another company, and on the second day, I booked through IKYU. On the first day, I was kept waiting at check-in. However, the woman at the counter had a lovely smile and was very pleasant, so it was forgivable. On the second day, instead of checking in at the counter, there was a plan to check in directly in my room by speaking to nearby staff. The staff member who assisted me had only been working for one month and seemed inexperienced; they read from something without smiling and kept their head down while explaining things monotonously. For using the sauna, it seems that filling out some questions on a reservation form and bringing it along were required. However, no reservation form was provided in my room. The entrance to the sauna showed "Closed," which made me anxious. When I mentioned this to another staff member responsible for managing reservations for saunas, they said something about miscommunication among staff members!     A Very Satisfying Time in Hiroshima

    Although it was my first stay, the time spent on the Executive Floor was truly relaxing for both body and mind. The guest room, the staff’s hospitality, and the Executive-only breakfast were all excellent, and this has become an Accommodation I would choose again when staying in Hiroshima.

    Smoking is allowed.

    When I went to the front desk to check in, I was surprised to find that my room was a smoking room. These days, it feels unusual—almost strange. Fortunately, even during the international conference period, they were able to change it to a non-smoking room, but I’m not sure this is acceptable. I thought “non-smoking” had become the standard throughout buildings, but apparently smoking rooms still exist. It may be tough for smokers, but I would like designated areas to be provided.

    I had business in Ya...

    I had business in Yamaguchi and arrived a day early, stopping off along the way. I hadn’t visited the newly renovated museum yet, so I chose this nearby Accommodation for my first stay. Everything went smoothly, and the staff greeted me with smiles and provided Shuttle Service, which made my stay very pleasant. To my surprise, there were no disposable paper slippers in the Room, but when I requested them, they were brought right away—no problem at all. After walking around a lot and getting tired, I tried to find a takeout Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki place but couldn’t locate one, so I ended up ordering room service instead. The taste was a bit disappointing compared to what I expected, but thank you for the meal. Thank you for taking care of me during my stay.

    It’s a wonderful Hotel.

    It is located in the city center with convenient transportation, and I had a comfortable stay. The Hotel staff were also very helpful. I would like to stay here again if I have the opportunity.

    Services and Support

    Previously, water bottles and coffee were provided in the Room, but they are no longer available, and it seems that the service quality is declining with each visit. There appears to be an increase in foreign group guests, and it feels like staff have become less attentive and their service has worsened.

    Completely satisfied.

    First, I was amazed by the large Hotel lobby. Received the card key and headed to the Room, only to be surprised again by its spaciousness. From the 19th floor, a breathtaking panoramic view of Hiroshima Castle's moat unfolded below, with no tall buildings obstructing the scenery. Thank you for providing such a large Room, bath, sink, and toilet at this price. The proximity to the Atomic Bomb Dome and Peace Memorial Park allowed for a peaceful early morning stroll with fewer people around, which greatly enhanced my satisfaction. Everything was absolutely perfect!

    A lovely Hotel worth the price

    This was a wonderful Hotel for the price. The location was convenient as it is directly connected to the bus center, and there is a streetcar station right in front. Access to the Peace Memorial Park was also excellent. The view from the Room and the breakfast buffet were enjoyable without being overly crowded, and the food was delicious. The staff at reception and cloakroom were very helpful, which made me feel at ease. I regret leaving through fast check-out without expressing my gratitude, but it was a pleasant stay overall. Thank you very much!

    Thank you for upgrading the Room. The night view from the window was beautiful, and it was great to see Hiroshima Castle right in front. The shop on the first floor had a stylish selection, and it was very convenient to get a taxi without waiting.

    A Hotel you will want to visit again.

    During my temporary return to Japan, I always visit Hiroshima for oysters and enjoy staying here. The Room is spacious and comfortable, with the added appeal of a bath and sauna. It was unfortunate that the breakfast buffet was more crowded than last year, but given the increase in tourists, it’s understandable. I look forward to staying at this Hotel again.

    Perhaps it's better to stay at a luxury Hotel and study.

    Upon entering the room, there was a slight unpleasant smell, which made me wonder if it was previously a smoking-allowed room. If achieving an odorless environment is difficult, perhaps providing a luxurious fragrance would be a good idea. Additionally, around 8 PM, I tried calling the front desk and bellboy several times via the in-room phone but received no response. Out of necessity, I called the relaxation area instead and spoke to an older woman. When I mentioned that no one at the front desk was answering my calls, she casually replied with "Oh my, maybe they're busy," showing little professionalism or concern. It would be appreciated if calls were answered within three rings. The facility overall felt outdated with a retro Showa-era vibe. The sauna closes at 8:30 PM (according to their website, entry is required by 7:30 PM). Strangely enough, it closes early even on weekends when there are more guests staying—making it impossible to use after dinner. Is this truly customer-oriented? It raises significant doubts for me.

    The Room had a wonde...

    The Room had a wonderful view from the window, but the dirty window was disappointing. There was hair in the sink of the washbasin, and the hairdryer was dusty, which was unfortunate. I have used this place many times before, but this is the first time experiencing such issues. Please improve these aspects. The breakfast allowed me to enjoy a great view and delicious food. The bar was also excellent.

    Pillow scent

    The twin room was used for single occupancy, but one of the pillows had a strong odor, making it seem like it hadn't been replaced. This is disappointing for a hotel of this rank.

    Couples’ Trip

    The Hotel’s location was excellent. We were able to take our time visiting Kintai Bridge, Miyajima, Hiroshima Castle, the Atomic Bomb Dome, Peace Memorial Park, and the Atomic Bomb Museum.

    A conveniently located Hotel with easy access to anywhere.

    The Room was spacious, and I had a comfortable stay. The only disappointment was that I didn’t have time to use the sauna. I’ll save that for next time. If I visit Hiroshima again, I will definitely stay here.

    Comfortable Time

    This is my third stay. I really like the calm atmosphere. It is a historic hotel with excellent service. Located in the downtown area, it offers great access to tourist spots, and the view from the room is amazing. I think it's the best place to experience the charm of Hiroshima.

    I booked the Executive Floor because the view seemed promising. The scenery from the room, both at night and in the morning, was spectacular. As mentioned in other reviews, the water pressure in the shower is weak. Breakfast required a reservation, and I reserved for 7:00 AM; however, the food was served at 7:30 AM. This caused delays as I had plans afterward. Guests who arrived at 7:30 AM were served immediately, so perhaps choosing Japanese cuisine took longer to prepare. That said, since we have to decide on our meal choice by the day before and set a reservation time, it would have been better if breakfast was served more promptly. Nevertheless, just for the view from the room alone, I’m glad I chose this hotel.

    Excellent location

    It was my first stay in years, and the location is excellent. It’s close to the newly built soccer stadium, and Hiroshima Castle and Peace Memorial Park are within walking distance. Being the tallest building in the area, it offers great views. The guest room felt a bit dated but was very clean. I had a Japanese-style breakfast, which was delicious. I will use this accommodation again when staying in Hiroshima.

    For business trips

    I used this accommodation during my business trip. It seemed there were not enough staff, as when I called for a pre-stay confirmation, the person who answered said they couldn't assist and asked me to call again the next day, which left me confused. As a service industry, I believe responses should be more courteous. Additionally, during check-in, all three male staff members were on phone calls (seemingly handling complaints), and I had to wait quite a while. However, the female staff member who assisted was very polite and saved the situation for me. It's unfortunate for such a reputable hotel brand to have these issues. The building is also aging and seems in need of renovation. The breakfast buffet was comparable to other business hotels; adding unique touches would be an improvement. This hotel used to have a luxurious feel and is in a great location—I hope for improvements and plan to use it again in the future.

    Hotel staff

    The Hotel felt outdated for a high-rank Hotel, as the air conditioning was ineffective, making the Room hot and requiring constant use of a handheld fan. The refrigerator also did not cool properly. I stayed in a Room on the 22nd floor, but there was constant loud noise from what seemed to be upper floors, which was very disturbing. While the doorman was pleasant, the front desk staff had an unwelcoming attitude. I don't think I would stay here again. However, it is conveniently located near Green Arena.

    As a traditional Hot...

    As a traditional Hotel, it offers a very elegant and high-class atmosphere, making for a comfortable stay. However, some of the Facilities are slightly outdated and less user-friendly. The operation of the room's light switches was somewhat difficult to understand.
