    We had a relaxing stay.

    As always, we were able to relax and enjoy a leisurely stay. For breakfast, we chose the Japanese set meal and were able to dine in a calm atmosphere. It was great to have options such as a buffet or a set meal.

    We had a great time with our friends.

    The moment I entered the Room, I was moved by the breathtaking view of Hiroshima Castle spreading out beyond the window. The sofa by the window was also spacious and very comfortable to use. Breakfast in the lounge was delicious, and a staff member (a woman) was wonderfully cheerful and kind, which made our stay truly pleasant. Thank you so much. My friends and I have already said that this is where we’ll stay again when we visit Hiroshima. Thank you for taking such great care of us.

    My First Trip to Hiroshima

    I booked this Hotel for someone visiting Hiroshima for the first time, as I thought it would be convenient for getting to various places. They were very pleased with the Room, saying it had a wonderful view and they could relax comfortably. I heard that they felt the lounge service could have offered a bit more. Since the weather was not very good, it was nice that the Room was spacious and helped them unwind.

    Room Odor

    When I entered the Room, it smelled slightly sweaty. After a while I got used to it, but when I left and came back, there was still a faint odor. Once I noticed and used the air purifier, it became much less noticeable. The Room had a great view and was spacious, so I could relax comfortably.

    We were extremely satisfied!

    We were upgraded on a weekday and were able to spend our time in a spacious Room. Thank you very much. It’s close to Peace Memorial Park, the Atomic Bomb Dome, and Sogo, and we could also walk to Hiroshima Castle. Kamiya-cho Nishi Station on the Hiroshima Electric Railway is right nearby, so sightseeing was easy without any transfers! There are plenty of restaurants around as well—an incredibly convenient location. Highly recommended!

    Not recommended.

    I stayed here for a trip. Overall, I can’t recommend this Hotel because it was unhygienic. - At check-in, I was told that at checkout it would be fine to just drop the Room key into a box in front of the front desk. When I looked for it at checkout, there was no box. When I asked the cloakroom staff, they curtly told me to line up in the long queue at the front desk. I questioned their customer service. - There was a free ice machine near my Room, but when I looked closely, some of the ice had turned dirty brown and had dust on it. It felt unhygienic—even if it’s free... - The bathroom in the guest Room also had an odd gap between the bathtub and the wall, and cleaning did not seem thorough. - Breakfast had a variety of items, but food labels were scattered around or missing, so it was hard to tell what anything was. There were only about two dessert options, and many pieces of cutlery were dirty as well—unhygienic and disappointing first thing in the morning. The front desk area is clean since they also host weddings, but everything else felt unhygienic. It ended up being an expensive stay that didn’t feel worth it—worse value than a Business Hotel. The Hotel staff looked stern and never smiled, which dampened my mood on what should have been an enjoyable trip.

    About the spa and pool

    There was no advance notice about this, so I couldn’t prepare items such as underwear beforehand. Regardless of whether I would use them, I would have appreciated being informed in advance.

    Inbound tourism

    I was unsure whether to choose the Standard or Superior room, but the person who assisted me by phone in advance was very kind and even gave me advice on how to get around for sightseeing—thank you. Since most guests were international visitors, the morning buffet was almost entirely foreigners. If you’re fine with a relaxed checkout, there are plenty of options nearby, so having breakfast outside might have been a good choice. The Facility had the bare essentials, but perhaps because of the number of international guests, there seemed to be fewer items available for loan.

    Very satisfied with access to the pool and sauna.

    The location was excellent, and we were able to walk to Peace Memorial Park, the Atomic Bomb Dome, and many restaurants. Unfortunately, the Hiroshima Museum of Art was closed on Monday, but we still enjoyed the Motomachi Aquarium next door and were very satisfied. The Room facilities were old, but even with an extra bed added there was still plenty of space. Since we stayed on a high floor, we also enjoyed the view. This time, as a Diamond member benefit, we were able to use the pool, sauna, and bath area. Since the bathroom in the Room was a unit bath, it was very comfortable to have access to a spacious bath. We could swim at a relaxed pace in the pool, and there was also a jacuzzi—overall we were very satisfied. We would like to stay here again when we visit Hiroshima.

    Was RIHGA Royal always this kind of Hotel?

    I used to think Rihga Royal was a solid Hotel, but the Facilities have not kept up with the times, and it now feels like an upscale Business Hotel. The aging building and interiors are understandable, but there were several disappointing points—non-disposable slippers, a TV without internet connectivity, and instant coffee. On top of that, I experienced my first-ever issue during a Hotel stay, which left me questioning whether maintenance and cleaning are being handled properly. It’s especially disappointing because the staff were professional. That said, the location and having a convenience store inside the Hotel are definite plus points.

    Thank you as always. This time, I traveled from Matsuyama to Hiroshima by ferry, so I checked in late. Although my stay was short, I had a comfortable time.

    A Comfortable Trip

    We stayed here for the last night of our trip. After a long journey, it was the perfect place to recharge. By spending more time in the Hotel—sleeping, using the pool and sauna, and enjoying the artwork—we were able to head home feeling refreshed. Thank you very much.

    The location is excellent and very convenient.

    It was conveniently located for going anywhere, and we walked to the Atomic Bomb Museum, Peace Memorial Park, the Hiroshima Museum of Art, and the Prefectural Art Museum. Since the Hotel is a high-rise, it was easy to use as a landmark from anywhere, which was helpful. Although it takes some time from Miyajimaguchi, you can get there on a single streetcar line. I think it has the best location in Hiroshima City and is a dignified Hotel. The in-Room Facilities felt a bit dated. The bed wasn’t great. The view from the Room was also wonderful—we could see all the way out to the Seto Inland Sea in the distance. If there were a spa or similar amenities, it would be perfect.

    I am a shareholder and would like to use IKYU.

    Compared with using shareholder benefit vouchers, booking through IKYU kept the Accommodation cost lower, and the Diamond member perks are plentiful. I hope the shareholder benefits will also be enhanced with perks beyond price. I always look forward to IKYU’s Diamond member benefits no matter where I stay. As the Hotel has been open for over 30 years, I visited with a nostalgic feeling, remembering that I stayed here back then. The spacious first-floor lobby is unchanged from those days, and now it has a lovely fragrance. I’m sensitive to smells, and the Room had a slightly old odor. I stayed on the 27th floor on the mountain side—the view was outstanding. I also confirmed (with a laugh) that even though “Hiroshima Stadium Park” is very close, you can’t get there without walking at street level. Since I don’t eat much breakfast, I ate in my Room, but with a department store and complex next door, finding food is never an issue. You can also reach the bus center without getting wet—the location is truly excellent. I used Chinese Restaurant Ryu for dinner; they adjusted flavors to my preference and everything was delicious. I also used YONEKURA SPA SALON on the 10th floor—excellent treatments and a stylish space; I was very satisfied. It’s fantastic to have an oxygen capsule available inside the Hotel. The in-room bath, carpet, chairs, etc. felt dated, but that would require major renovations so it’s understandable. Cleaning was thorough. The dresser in the Room was great—I could get ready in good lighting. The coin laundry fees are on the high side, but it was helpful for a Multiple Night Stay. I support the RIHGA Royal Hotel Group and will stay again.

    It was good, though.

    Thank you for your hospitality. I stayed here because I came from Shiga Prefecture and wanted to relax while meeting my sister from Hiroshima for the first time in a year and a half. I made a Reservation for two single Rooms. When we received the keys at the front desk, the Room numbers were far apart, so I wondered about it but assumed they might be across from each other and went up to the Rooms. However, they were on opposite sides of the elevator—one on each side! After looking at the floor plan, I understood it might be due to differences in Room size. Still, I would have appreciated knowing this at the time of Reservation or being informed at check-in; even if it cost a bit more, we would have preferred adjacent Rooms. The Room itself was excellent, as expected from RIHGA Royal Hotel—no issues at all. The location is convenient for going out to dinner, and an 11:00 check-out was also great. I was also happy that we could see the Seto Inland Sea from our Hotel Room.

    Your journey begins before you even set off.

    When I made my Reservation, I asked one question. Since then, I believe someone from the accommodations team spent a great deal of time and effort helping me. They kindly offered many thoughtful suggestions, and when they asked, “Is there anything else?”, I took them up on it—one request became two, two became three—and what started as a simple Hotel Reservation turned into a safe, sparkling trip filled with wonderful details like never before. It was my first experience like this in nearly 20 years of using this site. Of course the product you choose is important, but I truly realized again that kindness and warmth can only come from people. Thank you very much. I’m sure you will continue to do great work—please take good care of yourself.

    It was a wonderful trip.

    This was my first stay at the RIHGA Royal Hotel. As it was my first time back in Hiroshima in a while, I chose a Room with a great view. The amenities were excellent, and I was very satisfied with the spacious Room. I had breakfast on the top floor; everything was beautifully presented and the food was delicious. The location is great—Peace Memorial Museum and the Atomic Bomb Dome are within walking distance. I arrived by high-speed ferry from Miyajima, and it was also close to where I disembarked. With Sogo and the bus terminal nearby, it’s very convenient. The next day it rained and turned cold, so I changed my plans and visited an art museum using the tickets provided. For lunch, I chose the lunch & sweets buffet at Luore. Since they had strawberry desserts—my favorite—I was delighted. There were many dishes to choose from, and everything tasted wonderful. They were running a campaign on the RIHGA Members app, so I could dine at a discounted price and also use points, which made it an excellent deal. It’s a Hotel I’d love to stay at again, and it became a wonderful memory of Hiroshima for me.

    For the graduation ceremony

    I stayed here to attend a graduation ceremony. It was very convenient, as it is close to an Astram Line station. The breakfast buffet was delicious. I would like to stay here again when I visit Hiroshima.

    Breakfast on the 33rd floor is truly exceptional.

    It’s no exaggeration to say we booked the Executive Room again for the breakfast on the 33rd floor. Enjoying a relaxed breakfast while taking in the wonderful morning views of Hiroshima is truly calming. The view from the Room is also outstanding. We’d love to stay here again and again.

    A proper, well-run Hotel

    I checked in at 10:00 p.m., and the front desk staff were professional and made a good impression. By chance, there was an IKYU benefit, and they clearly informed me about the late check-out service, which allowed me to relax the next day. Thank you very much.

    I made wonderful memories in Hiroshima.

    I reserved a Room with a French dinner included. The view from the 30th floor was wonderful, and the French meal was truly delicious. I was also impressed by the staff’s heartfelt service. I would love to stay again when I visit Hiroshima. Thank you very much.

    I was a bit disappointed.

    I stay here when there is a concert in Hiroshima. It’s close to the venue, so I was looking forward to it. I planned to eat in the Room and opened the curtains to enjoy my meal while looking at the night view, but I found multiple handprints on the window. I immediately closed the curtains. I didn’t notice them when I checked in and opened the curtains, but I noticed them later that night when I returned to the Room and opened them again. It was disappointing.

    Rihga Royal Hotel Hiroshima

    Thank you for taking care of us during the live show at Hiroshima Green Arena. I had made a Reservation through another site, so the Room was different, but you kindly found the same Room for us, and we were able to stay without moving—comfortable and hassle-free. I’d love to visit again and take my time when there’s another live show.

    Located in the center of town, it’s convenient to stop by and drop off your luggage during the day, and there are plenty of nearby places to shop for souvenirs. Breakfast offers a wide variety of Hiroshima specialties—more than you can finish. I’d love to stay again.
