    Direct connection to the bus terminal is very convenient.

    Choosing the bus over the bullet train turned out to be a great decision, and staying at RIHGA Royal Hotel was perfect. The view of Peace Park from the high floors left a lasting impression with many emotions. Hiroshima's city center is compact and easy to explore, so my wife and I enjoyed walking and using the tram to visit various places with the Hotel as our base. The spacious Room provided a relaxing stay. We mostly ate okonomiyaki (with variations like oysters), but it was hard to think of other delicious options during this trip.

    Stayed for 3 nights on the 27th floor, and the view of the Seto Inland Sea from the Room's large window was amazing! Enjoyed Miyajima beer while relaxing with the scenery. Would love to visit again!

    Convenience

    Even during the hot summer, you can reach Peace Park via the underground passage for the shortest route, and it's also convenient to access it from the shopping street on your way back.

    Travel with Grandchildren

    We stayed for two nights during our summer vacation trip to Hiroshima with our grandchildren. The Room was spacious, and although the bathroom and toilet showed some age, they were clean and comfortable, allowing us to relax. The location was excellent, and we thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast buffet. It turned out to be a very enjoyable summer vacation trip. Thank you very much!

    Comfortable Stay

    A Room on the 25th floor with a distant view of the sea was very satisfying. The view from the Room is indeed important. I also appreciate the courteous service from all the staff at check-in, which provided a sense of security. The Hotel is conveniently located next to a bus terminal, Sogo department store, and streetcar stop. It’s about a 5-minute walk to the Atomic Bomb Dome, making it very convenient. It was a comfortable stay. Thank you very much!

    There was a long lin...

    There was a long line at check-in with many people, and I had to wait for a while. After a long drive, I wanted to enter the Room smoothly. The Room was clean, and the view from the window was great. The breakfast buffet was also delicious.

    30th stay achieved since last year.

    Today marks my 30th stay, and I have also fulfilled the requirements to achieve Diamond Membership. For the purpose of completing stays under Okura Hotel's One Harmony program, I frequently stayed at hotels in Tokyo and Osaka within this group. Unfortunately, on IKYU.com, I only reached Platinum Membership, but starting next month, I look forward to enjoying the benefits of being a Diamond Member (though I'm not sure what those benefits are yet!). The location is excellent as well.

    Thank you for staying with us again after a long time.

    Previously stayed during a trip to Hiroshima and had great memories of the room, facilities, food, and staff service. After a business trip, I chose to stay here at my own expense just to enjoy the breakfast buffet. The hospitality did not disappoint, and I was once again grateful for the excellent location. I was also upgraded and became captivated by the comfort of Airweave bedding. Staying on a weekday allowed me to book at a great value, and from the moment I arrived at the hotel, it turned into a relaxing and enjoyable journey away from work. Looking forward to staying here again on my next visit to Hiroshima!

    Since last spring, I have frequently stayed here for work, and this marks my 29th stay (with one night arranged by my company). By August, I am likely to reach my 30th stay.

    Disappointing and not worth the value.

    Selected this Hotel for pool access, but it turned out to be completely unsuitable for me and offered no value at all. ① Check-in Experience Used the 2 PM early check-in benefit and arrived at the front desk 15 minutes prior. Was told the Room was not ready, which is common and not an issue. However, unlike other Hotels where you can complete the process and receive your key once ready, here I wasn’t even allowed to proceed with check-in. Decided to wait in the lobby as instructed but received no updates whatsoever. Eventually had to inquire again after 2 PM myself. This rigid adherence to time without proper communication about Room readiness is frustrating. Moreover, staff seemed unwilling when dealing with other guests inquiring before check-in time—extremely unpleasant. ② Unable to Use Pool After checking in at 2 PM, I quickly called about reserving a spot for the pool only to be told dismissively that “it’s fully booked until after 8 PM.” When I asked about using it the next morning instead, I found out that pool hours start from 11 AM—completely impractical unless staying Multiple Nights. While such limitations might be understandable on weekends or holidays, this was a regular weekday! If capacity and operations are so restricted, they shouldn’t promote their pool as a feature of value. ③ Other Issues To make matters worse: my Room wasn’t properly cleaned; breakfast service was chaotic; everything felt poorly managed overall during my stay. Mid-range Hotels should offer hospitality and flexibility as part of their value proposition; otherwise, they’re no different from Business Hotels in terms of what they provide. With inflexible policies like these—no water bottles in Rooms or disposable slippers—and unremarkable breakfast quality on top of that…what exactly is supposed to be valuable here? The numerous positive Reviews others have left are baffling to me. This will definitely be my last experience with this brand after similar disappointments elsewhere (e.g., Osaka).

    The service and location were excellent.

    I stayed for one night on my first trip to Hiroshima. As part of the Executive Floor benefits, I received tickets to the Hiroshima Museum of Art, allowing me to enjoy an unexpected museum visit. The museum was absolutely wonderful. Before checking out, I used a drink voucher at the bar and enjoyed an iced coffee at the top-floor restaurant. The view was stunning, offering a different perspective from what I could see from my Room, which left me deeply impressed. Although there were capacity restrictions for pool use and my preferred time was slightly delayed, each group had their own lane, making it a relaxing and enjoyable experience. Being able to check in directly in my Room and having a checkout time until 12:00 PM allowed me to rest after visiting the museum before departing, which was very helpful physically. The spaciousness of the Room and its view were excellent—well worth the additional cost!

    I stayed in the Executive Course. The view was amazing, and I could gaze at it forever. Although my main focus was sightseeing in Hiroshima, I wished I could have spent more time at the Hotel!

    An elegant Hotel where you can fully enjoy the charm of Hiroshima

    My spouse and I live in Hiroshima, and for the past few years, we have stayed at this hotel annually. This year, we enjoyed a Multiple Night Stay. The view of Hiroshima Castle from the Room and the scenery of downtown Hiroshima and the Seto Inland Sea islands from Rihga Top never fail to captivate us. Relaxing in the pool or spa with Executive Floor benefits, savoring a quiet dinner at various restaurants, and enjoying a delicious breakfast at Rihga Top while admiring the view is pure bliss. There is also a family pool nearby, so next year we are considering staying with our grandchildren—letting the young couple enjoy that pool while we relax in the hotel's pool separately sounds like a great plan. The staff here are always courteous, but I am particularly impressed by how wonderfully polite the cleaning staff are when greeting guests. This truly is an elegant hotel. One of its perks includes tickets to Hiroshima Museum of Art, which we greatly appreciate. While there isn’t an executive lounge here, having tea snacks provided in our Room along with one drink ticket usable at select locations more than suffices for us.

    I stayed here during...

    I stayed here during my trip to Hiroshima. The location was convenient and easily accessible from nearby tourist spots, and overall, I was satisfied. However, despite informing the staff in advance about my breakfast preference (Japanese style: rice or porridge, or Western style), I was asked again upon arriving at the restaurant. It felt unnecessary to repeat this information after it had already been confirmed, which left me feeling uncomfortable in the morning. Other than that, the staff were polite and attentive, so this was my only concern.

    Breakfast is quite disappointing, but the location is excellent.

    As an IKYU member, I was supposed to be able to check in at 2 PM, so I arrived around 2:30 PM. However, the staff simply told me that check-in starts at 3 PM without checking anything. Looking around, I noticed many guests sitting and waiting for 3 PM like a hospital waiting room. Finding this odd, I went back to the counter myself and confirmed that check-in was indeed available from 2 PM. Even then, there was no acknowledgment of their mistake or concern for the guests' experience. I had been firmly instructed to hang the "Room Cleaning" sign if cleaning was needed, so I requested it early in the morning. While showering later on, someone knocked on my door; despite my response and moving toward the door, they opened it forcefully before I could reach it—startling me immensely (even though there were clear sounds from inside). I was told not to hang up any signs because staff might enter if one is displayed—contradicting their earlier instructions. Although everyone seemed well-meaning overall, such inconsistencies were frustrating considering I'd paid over ¥40,000 for a two-night stay—it felt subpar as a Hotel experience. Compared with other Hotels I've stayed at before, breakfast here was also very disappointing—not a single dish tasted good—and I skipped it entirely on the second day.

    I would like to stay here again when I visit Hiroshima.

    The location was very convenient, being close to tourist attractions, live venues, and the bus center. The Room was spacious, with a great view from the window, clean, and comfortable. The staff provided excellent service, and my companion was also very satisfied. Thank you for a wonderful time. I will definitely stay here again when I visit Hiroshima!

    Unfortunately.

    We stayed as a family at the accommodation. The stay on the executive floor offered great views, included museum and drink tickets, and free pool access, which we appreciated. However, overall service at the front desk and via phone did not meet the price or level expected. While individual staff members were not unpleasant, their responses seemed inexperienced and unpolished. It appeared that taxis could not be arranged directly; instead, we were directed to a taxi stand on the main street if unavailable, which felt lacking in luxury and was disappointing. We hope for improved service in the future.

    The warm hospitality made for a wonderful trip.

    The staff's exceptional service at arrival, check-in, and even at the bar made our trip memorable and reassuring. Despite making a last-minute reservation, they exceeded our expectations with their warm and thoughtful hospitality. The room's furniture and facilities had a historical charm, but the outstanding service from the hotel staff made us feel warmth even in those details, surpassing newer hotels. Although it rained that day and we missed the night view, the Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki we had at the 33rd-floor bar was absolutely delicious. We will definitely stay here again when visiting Hiroshima. Please continue to be the warm hotel you are!

    Highly satisfied

    I stayed on a very hot day. Since I wanted to take multiple showers, I requested additional towels. When I returned from my outing, they were prepared, allowing me to shower comfortably. Additionally, I received advice on routes and how to avoid direct sunlight during my outings, which was very helpful. The view from the room was absolutely stunning. I fully utilized the long-stay Diamond benefits of IKYU and enjoyed the beautiful scenery of Hiroshima. Breakfast was leisurely enjoyed while admiring the breathtaking view, and my daughter was particularly impressed by the corn soup. One thing I always check at hotels is the sink overflow area, and it was impeccably clean with no complaints whatsoever. It was a truly wonderful day, and I would love to stay again!

    The view is absolutely stunning.

    Additional amenities can be easily ordered via QR code. The cleaning is meticulous, and the Room is spacious, making me want to stay at RIHGA Royal Hotel again the next time I visit Hiroshima. Access to Hiroshima Station is also excellent. There is a direct bus from the adjacent Sogo building to Hiroshima Station.

    I had work in Hiroshima until late at night, so unfortunately, despite being provided with a spacious Room, my stay was very short. As for breakfast, the dishes offered don't vary much. It might be nice to change about 10% of the menu once a month. Also, it's about time for ice cream to be included in the offerings given the season.
