    A Hotel Benefiting from Its Location

    Stayed for 2 nights. I now understand why the reviews are so positive after experiencing it myself. Directly connected to Minatomirai Station (though a bit of a walk), surrounded by plenty of restaurants, and offering stunning night views from the room—truly luxurious. The bathroom was more spacious than expected, and while the shower booth took some getting used to, it wasn’t an issue. Plenty of bath towels were provided, and amenities were sufficient. Opting for a room with a balcony was definitely the right choice. Although it was quite hot during this season, you could see Cosmo Clock right in front of you beautifully lit up at night—it’s mesmerizing enough to make you want to keep watching endlessly. However, I felt there were issues with meals and staff hospitality. Both nights included breakfast: on the first morning at Café Tosca and on the second morning at Somerhouse due to crowding reasons. I had high expectations for their bread as it seemed like their highlight... but honestly, it was just average—not particularly good or bad. The made-to-order omelets also had an odd system; I thought I could wait there while they prepared mine but was told instead to go get other dishes in the meantime until it's ready—how would anyone know which one is theirs when it's done? In fact, another guest tried taking someone else’s omelet only to be told that wasn’t theirs! Wouldn’t handing out number tags solve this? It felt inconsiderate. Additionally—and this might seem minor—the staff spoke so softly that understanding them became difficult... But what really stood out negatively was Somerhouse: when trying to spread butter on my bread but unable find any butter knives around anywhere nearby—I asked staff who simply replied “We don’t have those available.” Excuse me?! Café Tosca next door does though?? It made me want sarcastically point-out how ridiculous such oversight seems given proximity between venues! Instead being handed proper utensils like expected—they suggested using regular knife instead!? Honestly disappointing experience overall here especially compared against otherwise great accommodations offered elsewhere under Tokyu Hotels brand umbrella previously experienced before personally firsthand comparison basis lacking admittedly still nonetheless impression remains heavily reliant location convenience factor alone seemingly unfortunately ultimately detracting value perception overall conclusion reached personally speaking anyway ultimately suggesting opting No Meals Included plan likely better cost-performance ratio alternative worth considering future stays perspective viewpoint evaluation summary end note final thoughts shared above accordingly hope helpful insights provided readers alike thank-you reading attentively appreciated greatly regards sincerely

    Stayed for 3 Multiple Night Stay after a year.

    Stayed for multiple nights twice last year and left a review. There were significant improvements. Most of the floors became security floors, and breakfast hours were extended slightly (about 5 minutes) during busy times to reduce waiting lines. The front desk seemed a bit brighter, and there appeared to be more staff at the car drop-off area. However, even after pressing the MAKE UP button, cleaning was not prioritized and continued past 1 PM unless housekeeping was contacted directly. Yoga mats are not available for loan. Despite an increase in staff at the car drop-off area, many female staff members seemed inattentive and did not assist with large luggage—making their presence feel unnecessary. Breakfast offers a wide variety of items but becomes repetitive as it is the same every day. Some less appealing dishes like Mapo Tofu and Shumai have been removed, but there are still few handmade options; most items seem pre-made or frozen except for freshly made omelets. This can get tiresome during longer stays. I will be staying for five consecutive nights this winter and sincerely hope further improvements have been made.

    This is my favorite Hotel that I often use. This time, I visited because the pool reopened. It was very nice. I also used the lounge, where the cakes and dishes were delicious, allowing me to relax and enjoy my time.

    The Room offers a view of the Ferris wheel, and at night, ships pass by with their lights on. Efforts have been made to reduce plastic usage in various ways. Modern art paintings are displayed, adding a nice touch. Amenities are well-equipped, including aromatherapy in ceramic containers. The breakfast restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes, with great views from the windows and delicious food. The staff were kind and attentive. Thank you!

    Disappointed with the lounge on the Bay Club Floor.

    We stayed for two nights, and for the first breakfast, we chose Café Tosca. I was happy to find my favorite curry, and my wife enjoyed her favorite porridge. However, there were limited tea options, and no herbal tea that my wife wanted. When we asked about herbal tea, a kind staff member brought some from the back. It would be great if there were more tea bag varieties available. For the second breakfast, we went to the lounge on the Bay Club Floor. Unfortunately, it only offered Western-style dishes with no rice options and had a limited selection overall, which was disappointing. We also tried both Tea Time and Cocktail Time at the lounge but found them underwhelming as well. During Cocktail Time, there was no clear guidance on how to order non-alcoholic cocktails. When I mentioned that there were no dishes available during Cocktail Time to a staff member, they responded somewhat reluctantly with "We are preparing it now." It might be better if staff proactively ensured food availability without interruptions. If we stay again in the future... perhaps not on the Bay Club Floor. Both my wife and I have back issues; while chairs were provided in front of the bathroom sink as requested, one chair meant for use in the shower room was placed inside the bathtub instead—this surprised us! The shower room and bathtub are positioned opposite each other within our Room's bathroom area; moving between them felt inconvenient. A bathroom with a washing area would have been preferable. The water flow at the sink seemed weak—perhaps due to low water pressure? Additionally, flushing toilets manually required bending down significantly to reach levers—a challenge given our back problems—and modern systems allowing flush control closer at hand seem standard elsewhere nowadays! After flushing too slowly filling tanks caused prolonged noise disturbances afterward too... Regarding Room doors—they closed abruptly making loud noises unless carefully handled manually causing concern over disturbing neighbors since similar sounds echoed audibly across adjacent Rooms frequently heard throughout stays here! Pajamas provided resembled long dress-like tops rather than traditional sets so bringing personal sleepwear may suit those seeking comfort better instead! Our Park View Room overlooked Cosmo Clock 21 Ferris Wheel directly ahead offering rare balcony access adding unique appeal overall positively noted impressions shared here today! Complimentary drinking water came exclusively via paper cartons requiring refills fetched manually using pitchers supplied alongside ice machines located nearby hallways outside individual guest accommodations themselves meanwhile bottled mineral waters stocked mini-fridges incurred additional charges unexpectedly misunderstood initially assumed otherwise free mistakenly clarified later upon     Everything was well-prepared and satisfactory.

    Directly connected to Minatomirai Station, offering excellent access. The view from the Room is quintessentially Yokohama and absolutely stunning. The interior is clean and exudes a calm atmosphere, with well-equipped amenities ensuring a comfortable Hotel stay. The breakfast buffet venue has high ceilings and an exotic ambiance, with an impressive variety of food that amazed me. I will definitely visit again!

    I chose a Hotel in Minatomirai for the concert. The direct connection to the station was very convenient and helpful. The view from the Room was amazing, and the night scenery was stunning. The Maison Kayser bread at breakfast was incredibly delicious.

    I have stayed multiple times, but this was my first time using the Bay Club Floor. It was nice to check in while enjoying the view of Yokohama Port and then relax in the lounge with some sweets. For breakfast, Café Tosca may offer more variety, but you can still enjoy freshly made omelets on-site and exclusive bread available only in the lounge. The seating also feels more spacious compared to Tosca, so I thought this was a good option as well. The cocktail time drinks were satisfying, with mocktail options available too. The parking fee is very reasonable, and after checking out, I casually visited an art museum before heading home. I had a relaxing summer vacation and felt refreshed. I would love to visit again!

    Excellent location

    This was my first stay for sightseeing. The accommodation is just a short walk from Minatomirai Station, and it was convenient as I didn’t have to go outside. Along the way to the hotel, there are cafes, convenience stores, and various shops where you can enjoy shopping. The guest room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The view from the balcony was amazing; both daytime and nighttime scenery were stunning. One concern was that the shower room door didn’t close completely. At first, I didn’t notice this, so water splashed outside the shower room. However, it wasn’t a big issue as I could wipe it up with a bath mat—still, I hope this can be improved in the future. With its proximity to the station and great location for visiting places like Red Brick Warehouse or Hammerhead Pier, this hotel is perfect for sightseeing. I would love to stay here again!

    The entrance on the first floor is adorned with flags from various African countries, and despite the red carpet and individuals who appeared to be security personnel welcoming guests, all Hotel staff greeted us, even as a family with children, with their usual attentiveness and warm smiles. It truly reminded us once again of what makes this place first-class.

    Even for a last-minute multiple night stay reservation, the staff responded graciously and even suggested using the pool we enjoyed during our previous stay, leaving us impressed once again. This is undoubtedly the No.1 hotel not only in Minato Mirai and Yokohama but also in Kanagawa.

    It was an enjoyable experience.

    The accommodation provided a great view of the fireworks, making it a very satisfying stay. You can step out onto the balcony, and when closed, the windows offer excellent soundproofing. Even though large fireworks continued past 11 PM that day, the room remained quiet and comfortable.

    The night view was beautiful.

    Thank you for your hospitality. The view of Minato Mirai was excellent, the Room was comfortable, and the bathroom and washroom were clean. It had been a while since my last visit, but it was a very nice Hotel. While many hotels have flashy wallpaper these days, this one had calm and unobtrusive colors with artwork displayed, which I really appreciated. The Cosmo Clock was clearly visible. At night, its colors change like a rainbow, making it endlessly fascinating to watch. Of course, the night view of Minato Mirai was beautiful and well-visible as well. It’s convenient and relaxing yet feels like an easygoing place to stay at the same time. There were also many families staying there. I would love to visit again in the future. You can reach it from Minato Mirai Station without going outside, making it convenient even in hot or rainy weather.

    The terrace offers a beautiful view of Yokohama Bay's nightscape, creating a very pleasant atmosphere. One concern in the Room was the loud noise from the entrance door when opening and closing. I was startled awake in the morning by sounds from the neighboring Room. Additionally, while the bathroom has separate sections for the bath and toilet with a door, I felt that with this amount of space, it might have been better to design separate entrances. Breakfast was served buffet-style and was delicious. However, I felt that Maison Kayser's bread did not quite live up to its reputation. Despite these points, overall, it was a satisfying stay.

    Favorite Hotel

    I love Minato Mirai and have stayed at most accommodations there, but Tokyu stands out for its great location and cost performance, making it the hotel I revisit the most. I especially love the view from the balcony, so I booked two rooms to stay with my son and his girlfriend to share this experience. They were thrilled with the night view from the balcony, and I was glad I chose this hotel again. Before checking out, I felt unwell and called the front desk. They kindly extended my room stay and even helped find a hospital open on a Sunday when options were limited. Thank you so much for your exceptional care!

    I had a relaxing and leisurely time.

    We stayed with an Anniversary Plan that included a Club Floor accommodation, lounge access, and in-room dinner. The route from the bullet train to the local train and then to the hotel is completely sheltered, so there's no need to worry about bad weather. After arriving tired in the humid heat, we were grateful for the welcome drink at check-in in the lounge. The Calpis and peach jelly were cold and delicious. The lounge has slightly narrow walkways, making it easy to bump into others when getting food or drinks. It would be better if there was more space between seats. The room was spacious with plenty of outlets available. Both the bathroom and toilet were large and comfortable as well. Dinner was served in-room, which we thoroughly enjoyed—it was delicious! We appreciated that both fish and meat dishes arrived warm thanks to proper insulation. However, since the room relies on indirect lighting, it felt too dim for dining despite its cozy ambiance; brighter lighting like spotlights would be helpful during meals. Additionally, mismatched chair-to-table height made eating a bit uncomfortable. It would also be nice if soup or salad could be added to the menu—though dessert was absolutely delightful! This time we chose a plan that allowed cancellation until one day prior due to concerns about health conditions or weather—it gave us peace of mind while booking our reservation.     Obon Holiday

    I have been using this Club Floor for a while. This time, I splurged a bit on the Room for the Obon holiday. It was unfortunate that I couldn't park on the Hotel's designated parking floor due to preparations for an international conference. Thank you for your kind gesture during check-in, acknowledging my August birthday. However, during cocktail time, when I asked for a small plate, I was told, "We only provide large ones!" Additionally, when I accidentally stepped into the area where drinks were being served, I was firmly told not to enter there. These experiences were disappointing. Still, as I generally like this place very much, I'd love to stay again during the fireworks festival next time!

    Hotel with the Best View

    Stayed during Obon holiday as a family of three. Stayed in the same triple-bed room with a view bath as last time. Enjoyed a lunch buffet at Café Tosca before check-in. The room and bath offer a great view of Cosmo World, and the Ferris wheel is beautiful at night. Having stayed at both Royal Park and InterContinental before, we find Bay Hotel Tokyu to be our favorite for its convenience and views. Highly recommended for three guests!

    A very comfortable Hotel

    The Room was clean and well-maintained, and as a bath lover, I was delighted with the spacious bathtub. Having a separate shower booth was also a nice touch. I often use Sommer House and love it, but this time I tried the bar for the first time. For non-smokers like me, it’s a bit difficult to enjoy since it’s a cigar bar; I wish there were other bar options available. The highball made with award-winning whiskey was incredibly delicious. The peach shaved ice at Sommer House surprised me with how well the almond jelly paired with peaches—it was delightful! I would love to visit again with my family.

    Stayed at the accommodation for a live event at K Arena. The room was clean, the staff's service was excellent, the amenities were well-equipped, and the food was delicious. I am truly glad I chose this hotel.

    We stayed here while looking for a 2-bedroom Room. Although the Facility felt slightly dated, it was well-maintained and clean. The view from the Room was great, allowing us to enjoy a pleasant and fun time. The breakfast buffet was also delicious. However, one issue we noticed was that the door closer seemed to be broken, causing the door to shut loudly with force. We had to close it gently each time. It would be great if this could be improved.

    We recently stayed during a family trip to Yokohama! We had booked two rooms, but they kindly arranged connecting rooms for us, which was very helpful! Thank you so much. The night view from the room was the best we've ever seen!! Highly recommend the park view. The location is convenient, with an amusement park right in front and easy access to various tourist attractions. It's also directly connected to the station, making it very convenient! The service by the kind gentleman in a suit at the front desk was excellent!

    Stay Here for Yokohama Minato Mirai

    I have been staying here for a long time, and once again, I was reminded of how great the accessibility, room size, and view from the balcony are. The Room was as comfortable as always. On a very hot day, the shower booth was much appreciated, along with the bathtub of course. Despite this level of comfort, it remains reasonably priced. I hope it stays this way forever.

    The view was amazing.

    The view from the 25th floor was truly spectacular. Although it was a city view, I was pleasantly surprised to see the Tokyo Skytree and enjoy a stunning panorama from Yokohama to Tokyo. From the club floor, I could also see the Ferris wheel and luxurious cruise ships docked nearby, which made for an incredibly refreshing experience. Having breakfast while admiring such breathtaking scenery made for a perfect holiday.

    Quality of Guests

    Even though I stayed on a non-smoking floor during the fireworks event, the person in the next Room was smoking on their balcony. Smoke came in when I opened the window, and they were leaning out half-dressed, making it difficult to enjoy the fireworks. Staff members passing by in the hallway only gave a silent nod even when greeted, which felt like a decline in service quality. While it might be for eco-friendly reasons, many things were inconvenient to use.
