    Since the Edo period, these hot springs were cherished by Lord Toshiaki Maeda of the Daishoji Domain. Here at “Toki Kasane,” we stand in a privileged location closest to the source spring. The hot-spring distribution facility is right in front of our inn.
    Katayamazu Onsen features a rich, concentrated mineral composition with abundant salts (sodium and calcium). These minerals bind with amino acids on the skin to form a thin protective layer, helping prevent heat loss and keeping you comfortably warm long after your bath.
