    Staying again after a year.

    I stay here every year because I love the location overlooking Ie Island and the sea, and the large public bath with a sauna, but both the large public bath and breakfast were different from last year. In the past, the large public bath alternated between men and women every other day, but from this year it has been fixed. I was very disappointed that I could no longer use both the dry sauna and the mist sauna. When staying in a Junior Suite, breakfast could be requested via room service, but this is no longer available from this year, which was also very disappointing. The location is great and the staff are very hospitable, so it has been a Hotel I really liked. However, since there are now other Accommodations with good saunas available elsewhere, I am reconsidering staying here in the future. Also, since COVID-19 there have been Facilities where restaurants have remained closed—would it be difficult to reopen? There may be challenging issues such as staffing shortages and costs, but I wanted to share this as one opinion.

    The Luxury of Doing Nothing

    In any case, the view is beautiful. Since it was midsummer, it was difficult to stay on the terrace for a long time, but when I stepped out onto the terrace and listened to the sound of the waves, birds and insects, and people laughing by the pool, it felt incredibly relaxing and I ended up dozing off. I fully enjoyed the luxury of not having to do anything. The Room is very comfortable. This time we stayed with three people and used the sofa bed. Because the sofa bed was a little uncomfortable to sleep on, I rated the guest room 4 stars. I didn’t use the Onsen, but the in-room bath was spacious, and with a ReFa shower head it felt wonderful. The meals were delicious, and the staff’s greetings and thoughtful attention were excellent—this is a Hotel I would definitely like to stay at again. Thank you very much!

    It was a great Hotel! I’d love to stay again.

    It felt a bit far at about 1 hour and 30 minutes from Naha Airport, but the moment we got out of the car, the wonderful breeze and scenery made us even more excited! When we arrived at our Room and opened the curtains, there was yet another amazing view... The Room was spacious and clean, and we were able to relax and enjoy our stay. The Onsen was also a big hit with the kids!

    I stayed at the Club...

    I stayed at the Club Wing again this year. With my limited summer vacation window, Okinawa is the only place I can realistically travel to—and whenever I come to Okinawa, this is where I want to stay. I’ve been coming here since the days when the club lounge was in the same area as the lobby and they served a one-plate appetizer. The staff’s service was as wonderful as ever. This time, however, the in-Room coffee machine didn’t seem to be working properly: even when I tried to make coffee, only an espresso-sized amount came out. It probably would have been resolved quickly if I had called the front desk, but I was enjoying my Hotel stay so much that it slipped my mind… What felt different from last year was that soups are now available during aperitif time in the club lounge, and breakfast has become more luxurious. The lounge food keeps getting better and better, and for Club Wing guests, breakfast includes Ocean Wing’s standard buffet plus a special plated dish. Expecting something simple based on last year’s Japanese-style breakfast image, I started with the buffet—then an incredibly gorgeous plate arrived and caught me off guard. It may not be clearly stated on the website or during Reservation, but there is a dedicated area for Club Wing guests; we were seated without waiting, and they even served sparkling wine at breakfast. I was also happy to see again a staff member who took photos for us here two years ago. The only thing that felt worse was how some guests used the infinity pool. Compared with times when it felt more adults-only, there seem to be more people focused on making family memories—and at times they blocked the entrance so others couldn’t get in. I hope people remember there are other guests too. Even with those negatives mentioned, it’s still a Hotel I definitely want to return to.

    This Hotel is accessible and welcoming for guests with limited mobility.

    • There are two accessible rooms available. • Accessible rooms are offered at the same rate as standard rooms. • The accessible rooms are also on upper floors and offer great views. • The staff were courteous and pleasant, making the stay very comfortable. • The in-house Facility and in-room amenities are well equipped, and overall comfort feels high. • Although this was a Multiple Night Stay, breakfast remained satisfying in both variety and taste. • Free parking is a major highlight. • In addition to complimentary drinks in the in-room refrigerator, welcome drinks (including Orion beer) are provided for each night of your stay. • On the other hand, it is a bit disappointing that the Onsen requires an additional fee even for guests; offering free access would further improve satisfaction.

    Regular Accommodation

    Every summer, I book a Multiple Night Stay in the Club Suite. It’s reliably comfortable, and while the breakfast venue and snack service change from year to year—which can be a bit confusing—that’s part of the fun. I was happy to see the thalasso pool return this year, but previously Club Wing guests received a free 30-minute trial. Now it’s a 90-minute private session for 15,000 yen. I don’t mind that it’s paid, but since there is a chlorine smell and the water pressure is strong, offering 30-minute time slots would make it easier to use.

    This Hotel has no downsides.

    We stayed for three nights as a typhoon was approaching. With landfall expected, the terrace furniture had been temporarily moved into the Room, so things were a little different than usual. However, the wind and rain at landfall were not as severe as we feared, and we were able to enjoy mostly good weather. This is a Hotel with truly attentive service—everything from the in-Room drinks to the food and beverages in the club lounge, the large public bath, and the club-only pool was excellent. We were especially happy with the high-quality shampoo and conditioner both in the public bath and in our Room. The staff were also very kind. They even suggested making restaurant Reservations and reserving a gazebo by the pool, which was incredibly helpful. We didn’t use them this time, but it’s also close to an aquarium and Junglia, making it very convenient for sightseeing.

    Enjoy a wonderful stay

    We stayed here as a family. We had a wonderful time. Thank you! We were able to relax in the lounge and feel refreshed in the sauna! It was also great to enjoy breakfast at a leisurely pace in the back seating area.

    The location is great.

    This is my review of a Hotel stay around June 2026. Pros - The food was delicious (breakfast and the dinner buffet are on the pricey side). - Close to Churaumi Aquarium (within walking distance). - Open, spacious atmosphere with great views. - About two washer-dryers on each floor. - Welcome drinks such as beer. - Both indoor and outdoor pools. - The sea is nearby and easy to access, though it’s shallow. Cons - Under the name of “eco cleaning,” the Room was not cleaned. - Expensive for what you get. - Amenities were not replenished unless requested. - The sheets were not changed. - Thin walls; noise from other guests was loud. - Footsteps from upstairs echoed heavily. - Hair and other debris were left in the bathtub; it hadn’t been cleaned properly. - The TV turned on by itself in the middle of the night. - Tiles outside the Hotel were slippery and felt dangerous. - Insufficient explanation about how to use breakfast services. - There was a lot of explanation at reception, but key information needed during the stay—especially about breakfast procedures and systems—was missing. While there were positives such as the food and location, overall it felt poor value due to high prices and unsatisfactory service/cleanliness. It is not a Hotel I would choose to stay at again next time.

    Resort

    This was my fourth visit. Each time, I’ve stayed on a higher floor—2nd, then 3rd, and this time a Room on the 4th floor. It’s about a 90-minute drive from Naha Airport by rental car, and only around a 7-minute walk to the Churaumi Aquarium, which I love. The greatest appeal is the stunning view from the Room terrace: straight ahead, you can see Ie Island’s Tacchu beyond the deep blue sea. Savoring a beer while slowly taking in the scenery is pure bliss. This time, however, thanks to the seasonal rain front, we couldn’t see the blue ocean for four days. On the other hand, it allowed us to relax in the Room and at the club lounge and truly rest. As always, housekeeping was thorough and made our stay very comfortable. Having the same hair dryer and shower head as at home—and plenty of amenities—also meant we could keep our luggage to a minimum, which we really appreciated. The island banana pound cake in the club lounge was outstanding—so good that I’d love to see it sold as a souvenir. One small disappointment: when we visited in March during restaurant renovations, breakfast was served in the club lounge, and we enjoyed such a quiet and pleasant morning there. This time breakfast had returned to the first-floor restaurant. If possible, I’d be happy if breakfast could be offered in the club lounge again. In any case, this is a wonderful Hotel with spectacular views where you can truly unwind.

    We stayed here to visit Junglia.

    I stayed here because it is an official Hotel of “Junglia.” I enjoyed the club lounge, where alcohol was available, and the Onsen. However, the breakfast restaurant was so crowded that I couldn’t eat properly. When I decided to leave early and asked for just some soup in the club lounge, I was told “No” and reprimanded. I wish they had been more understanding.

    Excellent

    During our three-night stay, we spent two nights in a Premier Room in the Ocean Wing and one night in the Club Wing, which was an unusual arrangement. The Premier Room was lovely, but the Club Wing was truly outstanding! It was a luxury made possible by staying off-season with three guests in one Room, but I highly recommend it—it exceeded our expectations. The hospitality of all the staff was exceptional, and I can’t thank you enough. Even though we weren’t the most refined guests, we felt very comfortable everywhere—in both the Ocean Wing and the Club Wing, at each restaurant, and in the lounge. Thank you all so much. It was the perfect refresh. I sincerely hope to come back again.

    This was the best Hotel I’ve stayed at on Okinawa’s main island.

    I booked through IKYU using a hometown tax donation program. I believe I reserved a Club Suite, and although I didn’t expect much, it was probably the best Hotel stay I’ve ever had. First, the food is outstanding—Okinawan cuisine elevated into fine dining by top-class chefs. All-you-can-drink alcohol is included, which is irresistible for anyone who loves drinks. It also has an Onsen, which is rare in Okinawa. Hoshino, Hyatt, and The Busena each have their own appeal, but in terms of overall satisfaction and value for money, the Orion Motobu suite was by far the best.

    Enjoy the full resort experience

    The moment I entered the Room, I was amazed by the breathtaking view of the Churaumi sea stretching out before me. In the evening, I also enjoyed the sunset sinking behind Ie Island’s Tacchu. The Hotel’s location is outstanding: step out through the Hotel’s beach gate and Emerald Beach is straight ahead; walk left (or take a shuttle cart) to Ocean Expo Park and Churaumi Aquarium; walk right to Fukugi Tree Road and Bise Cape. I had a wonderful time strolling around these fantastic sightseeing spots. All of the staff were friendly, and I thoroughly enjoyed their high-quality service and Orion beer.

    Family Trip

    Perhaps due to the ongoing renovations, the breakfast venue was very crowded, the selection of dishes was limited, and the food did not meet our expectations. However, it had great access to Churaumi Aquarium and was conveniently located for sightseeing. All staff were courteous and attentive, making our stay very pleasant. The Room was clean, spacious, and offered a great view. They also hosted an outdoor movie night, and watching a film on a large screen under the stars became a wonderful memory. Once all renovations are complete, I hope breakfast will be improved and would like to stay again.

    The Club Floor is wonderful.

    The club lounge was spacious and lovely, and the sweets were delicious. The Room was clean with a great view, and it still felt roomy for three people; it was also nice that the extra bed was a good size. For dinner we went to the izakaya inside the Hotel, where we could enjoy Okinawan cuisine at reasonable prices, and everything was tasty. Breakfast in the lounge was also great—the main dish is prepared and brought to you, and it was delicious. I’d like to stay on this club floor again when I visit Okinawa.

    We stayed at this Hotel for the first time for a 2-night, 3-day trip to celebrate our coral wedding anniversary. Everything about this Hotel was simply wonderful. Best of all were the staff—everyone greeted us with a smile and took great care of us, so we felt comfortable and at ease throughout our stay. A smile really matters. The view from our Room was amazing, and at night and early in the morning we could see the starry sky—we even saw shooting stars. We also had a beautiful view of Ie Island and Emerald Beach. The lounge was relaxing and we were very satisfied! And on top of that, unlimited access to the Onsen. Bise’s Fukugi Tree Road is just nearby! The pool with its lovely view and the jacuzzi were quiet (maybe because it was a bit chilly) and almost felt like having them all to ourselves. We had everything we needed—although we went out this time, we would have been perfectly happy spending the whole day at the Hotel. As for dining, renovations were underway, so breakfast buffet was served in a banquet hall. (Sorry—because of this I gave 4 stars for Facility, with high hopes for what’s to come.) On the first day we ate in the banquet hall, but on the second day we enjoyed breakfast slowly in the club lounge with a great view. It was fantastic. This anniversary trip became an unforgettable memory. Thank you very much for your hospitality. We would love to visit again to enjoy that happy feeling (and I’m looking forward to Sirius’s breakfast buffet). Thank you again.

    It was even better than I imagined!

    We stayed in the Club Wing for two nights. It was raining when we arrived and our spirits were low, but thanks to the staff’s hospitality, the delicious Orion beer and light snacks in the lounge, and our wonderful Room, our whole family instantly became big fans of this Hotel. Our main goal this time was simply to enjoy a relaxing Hotel stay, and the location was perfect—once the weather cleared, we could easily walk to Emerald Beach, the aquarium, and Ocean Expo Park. We also really enjoyed the breakfast. There are many great Hotels in Okinawa, but this one is a definite repeat—Done. Next time, we’d love to experience a summer stay here. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

    We had a comfortable stay.

    We made a Reservation for three Rooms as a family. The Rooms were arranged close together, and the entire property was kept very clean. My daughter left something behind, and the staff helped us look for it; their response was very quick, which we appreciated. The Orion shop was easy to browse, and we had a great time there. I think it’s a very good place for families with children. The only disappointment was that the breakfast venue was in a banquet hall.

    Everything meets the standard.

    I planned a one-night trip to warm Okinawa with my mother after her cancer surgery. At first, I was considering a city Hotel in Naha, but since we were making the trip anyway, I decided a Resort Hotel by the blue sea would be better and switched to this one next to Churaumi Aquarium. The express highway bus from Naha stops here, so it’s convenient even for guests who aren’t using a rental car. We chose a plan without dinner and went to a nearby izakaya, but there are only a limited number of places within walking distance, so I think the two-meal plan might have been the better choice. Since you can enter the aquarium right when it opens in the morning, it was easy to enjoy without crowds. We also took a walk to the Bise area; it had an atmosphere like an island village, and seeing the local cats was very soothing. Because it’s right by the sea, I worried we might notice mold or rust around the Facility areas, but that concern turned out to be unfounded—the Hotel felt properly clean (though I can’t say about summer).

    Thank you for taking care of my grandchild and me.

    This was my grandchild’s first trip to Okinawa, and they seemed so happy that they even insisted on staying at the Hotel again. Perhaps because the breakfast venue was under renovation, it was extremely crowded in the 7 a.m. hour. The selection also felt like something you might get tired of after a while. We used the large public bath as well, but for the price it felt limited—an Onsen near home might have been better. That said, the Room was clean with a great view, and the staff were kind and helpful, so we were satisfied overall. If only breakfast were better, it would be perfect.

    We had an amazing time.

    Our family stayed in a Junior Suite. We truly appreciate how smoothly you accommodated the additional guest—my husband—who was able to join at short notice due to work. From check-in, we enjoyed an elegant time in the lounge, savoring beautiful views along with delicious drinks and food at our own pace as time flowed by. My husband, who loves alcohol, even said that the “lounge” was the most memorable part of this trip—it was truly a wonderful experience. We were also able to visit the nearby Fukugi Tree-Lined Road early in the morning when it was less crowded. The staff were excellent, and we are very glad we chose a Room with access to the club lounge. Thank you very much for taking such good care of us.

    We had a relaxing stay.

    All staff were kind, and I had a very pleasant stay from check-in to check-out. At breakfast in the Club Wing, the staff seemed very busy, perhaps due to being short-staffed, so I hesitated to ask for anything. Since there was also a sauna in the Room, I did not use the public bath this time. The sauna was extremely relaxing. The Room key was a card key, but we were given only one per person; if you use one for the Room, you end up short by one card. I felt it would be helpful if an extra key card could be provided for the Room.

    It is a wonderful Hotel.

    We stayed for two nights over the March holiday weekend to visit Junglia. Since a paid shuttle bus runs from the Hotel to Junglia, it was convenient for us because we wanted to enjoy drinks. The oceanfront Room was spacious and comfortable even for three people. All the staff were very pleasant, and it was a wonderful Hotel that we would like to visit again in summer. The eco-friendly initiatives are excellent, but honestly, we would still like housekeeping even on a Multiple Night Stay.

    Enjoy stunning views of Ie Island and the beach.

    We stayed in a corner Room. The views of Ie Island and Emerald Beach from the Room were absolutely wonderful. At the izakaya restaurant “Karei” for dinner, there was a wide selection of Okinawan dishes, and everything was delicious. Churaumi Aquarium was conveniently within walking distance, but it was disappointing that advance ticket sales are no longer available.

    The sunset was amazing!

    The sunset, the ocean view from the Room, and the many islands visible from the Room were amazing. The sunset sinking into the sea right in front of us was simply beautiful, and we were able to spend a truly relaxing and luxurious time. The large public bath (spa) was also great, and it was wonderful that it was open from early morning. If only there had been a jacuzzi on the Room’s balcony, it would have been perfect! In the lounge as well, they kindly accommodated my request for a fried egg, and the service felt genuinely warm. Maybe it’s because we stayed for six nights... but it was disappointing that the Italian restaurant we were looking forward to was closed, so there weren’t many dining options. Still, it’s a Hotel I’d love to return to.

    The emerald beach st...

    The emerald beach stretching out before us and the sunset sinking into the sea were truly breathtaking! Both dinner and breakfast were delicious. However, before our stay, I wanted to make a Reservation for dinner time and the restaurant, but I could not get through by phone at all. As a result, we ended up having a slightly late dinner at 7:30. One of the main purposes of this trip was Junglia. As an official Hotel, it would be great if there were more options such as discounted tickets. I would like to stay again to enjoy Emerald Beach in summer.
