    Summer Trip with My Daughter

    I chose this accommodation because it is located near the Churaumi Aquarium. The view of Ie Island right in front was amazing, offering a fantastic location! It was only about a 5-minute walk to the Churaumi Aquarium, allowing us to enjoy it at a relaxed pace. Additionally, it was conveniently close to the Fukugi tree-lined path, which was also great. Since we booked a dinner-included plan, we enjoyed both BBQ and buffet options on separate occasions. Both were delicious, and the staff were very kind and helpful. However, even for guests staying at the accommodation, there is an additional charge for using the onsen. It would be appreciated if this could be changed so that one payment covers unlimited use during the stay. The onsen had a high salt content with brown-colored water. The return bus departed directly from the entrance of the hotel, which was very convenient. This hotel made me want to visit again!

    Club Floor Multiple Night Stay

    Recently, I have been staying on the Club Floor for a Multiple Night Stay every year. Here is my comparison with last year: **Positive Points** - As always, the staff are very pleasant and provide excellent service, even compared to other hotels of the same rank. - The view from the Room is outstanding. - While the variety of snacks in the Club Lounge is not extensive, they are delicious, and being able to enjoy alcohol adds to overall satisfaction. **Negative Points** - It was disappointing that the Thalasso Pool was closed and unavailable for use, along with facilities like saunas. - The Room amenities have been downgraded (last year there were individual shampoo bottles; now they are replaced with shared bottle-type shampoos like those in public baths). - Special services based on length of stay (we chose a lunch buffet for the next day last year) are no longer available. - Although breakfast at Glauco has slightly improved compared to last year, it still falls short when compared to Club Floor breakfasts at hotels of similar rank. The three meal options combined with a half-buffet feel underwhelming—grilled fish in Japanese meals wasn’t very tasty either. The half-buffet selection is limited and ordinary; it feels lackluster overall. There’s bread but no rice available. - For example, having curry or Okinawa soba as an option when feeling hungry would be nice. - At Sirius breakfast venue for Ocean Wing guests, there’s no all-you-can-eat Blue Seal ice cream either. - Including Okinawan dishes like pork tamago or taco rice could enhance satisfaction further. **Summary** Overall satisfaction remains high; however, I hope there will be no further downgrades moving forward. With exceptional hospitality from all staff members already in place, I look forward to improvements in meal offerings!

    Family Trip with My Daughter

    We stayed for two nights on a family trip. The hotel features an open and spacious lobby with a beautiful ocean view of Emerald Beach. The proximity of the pool and the sea allowed us to enjoy both conveniently. Both the sea and the pool are ideal environments for families with small children. Towels were provided for each person every time we went to the pool. The location is excellent, as Churaumi Aquarium and Fukugi Tree Road are within walking distance. The staff were very attentive with their greetings, making our stay pleasant from breakfast to outings. The sunsets and rainbows were stunning, and we would love to stay again to experience those breathtaking views.

    The facilities and hospitality were satisfactory, but we recommend dining elsewhere.

    This time, I stayed in a Club Wing room. While I considered the Ocean Wing, I highly recommend the Club Wing for those who prioritize room quality. The accommodation is popular with families, and shared facilities like the pool and dining areas are lively and bustling. For guests seeking a quieter and more relaxing experience within the hotel, exclusive areas such as breakfast venues, lounges, and pools reserved for Club Wing guests are a significant advantage. I had no complaints about hospitality or access to nearby facilities. However, I was honestly not very satisfied with the quality of meals provided. Considering the content and taste, paying extra for a meal-inclusive plan felt somewhat unnecessary to me. Given that many families stay here, it seems that quantity is prioritized over quality when it comes to food offerings. I tried all options including BBQs, buffets, and the exclusive breakfast venue for Club Wing guests; however, none exceeded my expectations significantly. Therefore, my overall rating is 4 stars out of 5.

    We look forward to welcoming you again!

    I have been staying here every July in recent years. The Club Wing Junior Suite is a luxury for me, but I book it with the mindset of having the most relaxing time of the year. This year again, my expectations were met with wonderful staff, breathtaking views, and a spacious and well-maintained room that provided great comfort. The staff member who handled my check-in was kind, and I would especially like to thank the staff at the infinity pool cabana who quickly caught a spider for me. The food during tea time and bar time at the Club Lounge was as delicious as always, with even more variety than last year—so much so that I might have overindulged! On the other hand, there were some issues with breakfast at Grauco and dinner at Curry. At Grauco, while the food itself was delicious, there were times when waiting before being seated felt unusually long due to lively children running around energetically nearby. It made me worry about being bumped into or distracted by their loud voices echoing in my head during this wait. Additionally, their coffee did not compare favorably to Nespresso in my room, making it hard to relax fully. At Curry as well—the food was tasty—but we were seated near a counter close to private rooms where overly energetic voices left us feeling exhausted by dinner's end. Both restaurants had attentive staff trying their best; however—with Jangria opening soon—it seems such situations may increase further within dining areas moving forward. I hope there will be options like Room Service or adult-only dining spaces available (even if extra charges apply) so everyone can enjoy meals peacefully! May this Hotel continue providing satisfaction both for families seeking fun stays & adults desiring quiet retreats alike!

    A high-quality Hotel where you can stay with peace of mind.

    This was my second stay, and I was just as satisfied as the first time. The view of Ie Island right upon entering the building is stunning! Last time, a typhoon was approaching, so I didn’t notice it as everything was closed. With the beer bar now open, I could enjoy the welcome drink at a flexible time. There were spider webs on the balcony; while this might be expected in such a natural setting, it would be helpful if they could check and clean them more thoroughly. Since resorts often mean lots of laundry, having more hangers or hooks in the room would have been appreciated. Additionally, there are too few washing machines available—leading to long waits—and issues like fluctuating remaining time displays or lock errors that render machines unusable for extended periods. It would be great if they could either increase their number or upgrade to better models. Breakfast and dinner (Curry and Sirius) were all delicious! It would be nice if sea grapes were included in the breakfast buffet; another city hotel we stayed at in Naha offered them unlimitedly, which gave them a slight edge. One thing to note is that Emerald Beach is managed by Ocean Expo Park authorities; even on sunny days, swimming can be entirely prohibited depending on their decision (last time we couldn’t swim at all during our two-night stay). Overall though, I’m very satisfied! With Jungleia’s opening likely bringing more crowds soon, I’m slightly concerned about future stays...

    We stayed here during the Ocean Expo Fireworks Festival. The location, right in front of the beautiful Churaumi, was perfect, and the room seemed to have been recently renovated, making our stay very comfortable and satisfying. We also enjoyed the welcome drink of Orion Beer and the Onsen. Thank you very much. If I may offer one suggestion for improvement, it would be to enhance the quality of the meals. We had dinner at the BBQ restaurant where it was all-you-can-eat meat; however, once cooked, it became tough and wasn’t something we could call truly delicious. I understand that with many families visiting, there might be a focus on quantity and cost performance over quality. However, I would love to see an increase in à la carte menu options as well. Looking forward to visiting again next year! Thank you in advance!

    Wedding

    Last year, I stayed at Orion Hotel Motobu Resort & Spa and was captivated by the beauty of the hotel and the adjacent chapel. This year, on July 7th (2025), we held our wedding ceremony at Orion Hotel Motobu Resort & Spa! On the day of the ceremony, as we had an early start for makeup preparations, breakfast was kindly prepared in a box for us. They even accommodated our request for rice balls, which deeply touched us with their thoughtfulness. Thank you so much. We are delighted to have completed our wedding ceremony surrounded by such a warm atmosphere in this wonderful location. To all the staff at the hotel, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We look forward to visiting again for some relaxation! The Churaumi Fireworks Festival was absolutely amazing!

    For the first time in decades...

    Our children have grown independent, and my spouse and I stayed at this accommodation for the first time in years to enjoy the Ocean Expo Fireworks Festival. Last time, we stayed in a Junior Suite, but this time we chose an Ocean View room. We arrived at the hotel before check-in, but were kindly guided to our room early. With some time before the fireworks festival, we visited Churaumi Aquarium after a long while. After returning, we had dinner at the hotel. Watching fireworks from our room's balcony was absolutely amazing. Breakfast was delicious as well, and we were deeply impressed by the attentiveness of all staff members (front desk, restaurant staff, bellboys). We would love to stay here again if given another opportunity!

    The view from the property is stunning, but the parking lot is located far away.

    The view from the 12th-floor room was absolutely stunning. However, I was slightly bothered by some noise from the neighboring room at night. The meals are buffet-style, but honestly, it gets a bit repetitive during a Multiple Night Stay of three nights. Additionally, on the first day, the parking lot assigned to me was quite far and on a slope, which was challenging for someone like me with mobility issues. By the third night, I figured out how things worked and managed to park in the hotel's parking lot, which made things much easier. The view from the bath is also wonderful.

    Everything is excellent!

    I stayed in the Club Wing for a Multiple Night Stay of 3 days, and as expected from the information I found online, it was an amazing experience. The location overlooking Ie Island, the Room, meals, lounge, private pool, Onsen, and nearby sightseeing all made for a highly satisfying trip. Thank you to all the Hotel staff! I will visit again.

    Excellent hospitality

    This was our second stay here. This time, it was a four-generation trip with my 89-year-old mother, myself, my daughter, and her 10-month-old baby (my grandchild). At check-in, the staff mentioned they had records of our previous visit and warmly said, "It's been four years," which made us happy. The services for small children were excellent, including free stroller rentals and baby food (available for purchase), making it a comfortable stay even with a baby. Since we were a large group, an extra bed was provided. It wasn’t the usual flimsy type but had a sturdy mattress of regular size that was very comfortable to sleep on. While the bed itself was great, there was an issue with the duvet cover having a damp smell. However, when I informed the front desk about it, they promptly replaced it and even gave us complimentary bath tickets as an apology. Thanks to this gesture, my mother could enjoy the Onsen as well—thank you! One concern during our stay was that there were many foreign guests from Asia due to inbound tourism; some bath etiquette issues caught our attention. As for breakfast, I missed having seafood like sashimi or sea grapes but enjoyed finding Blue Seal cup ice cream and delicious purple sweet potato pancakes. Although this trip felt short and passed by quickly, I look forward to staying here again!

    A Satisfying Stay

    I visited this accommodation for the first time in two years. I chose this hotel because of its proximity to the Churaumi Aquarium and its stunning views, and I heard it was renovated last year. The food service in the lounge, though not extensive, was carefully prepared and very delicious. The room's bath was spacious and comfortable, though I did not use the onsen public bath. However, dinner at the hotel's restaurant had a limited menu, and dining twice at the Japanese restaurant became repetitive. Expanding dining options within the hotel would be greatly appreciated. The friendliness of the front desk and club floor staff, as well as the breathtaking views from my room, were truly delightful. This is an accommodation I would love to visit again frequently.

    The scenery is simply breathtaking. Whether from the lobby, restaurant, lounge, or Room, you will be overwhelmed by the stunning views. While there are minor complaints about meals and baths, the magnificent scenery makes up for everything. The staff's service was also excellent. I would love to stay here again.

    The newly renovated club lounge was excellent. It was always quiet and relaxing, with delicious and well-crafted sweets and snacks. For breakfast, I enjoyed a half-buffet at the Italian restaurant, which was also quiet and comfortable. It was disappointing that there were few non-buffet dinner options available, and reservations for Okinawan cuisine were fully booked. I hope the Italian restaurant and pizza takeout services will resume soon. I would love to visit again!

    Not recommended for those who want to enjoy a pleasant stay at a Resort Hotel.

    After staying at Shigira Resort in Miyako Island, we moved to Naha and chose this hotel near Churaumi Aquarium since we were traveling with a toddler. However, the hospitality of this hotel was severely lacking, and it frustrated us multiple times. It was listed as a four-star hotel on Google Maps, so I thought it would be a safe choice, but it's definitely below three stars—a poor decision on my part. The location requires about a 10-minute walk to the aquarium, so we ended up using a rental car anyway. In hindsight, I regret not staying at an international hotel in Sesoko instead. The staff's service level was disappointingly low from reception to guiding us to our room. It would have been more understandable if they were foreign staff members unfamiliar with local customs, but all of them were Japanese—it was simply unacceptable. I absolutely do not recommend this resort hotel for those looking for an enjoyable and pleasant stay.

    The hospitality was excellent.

    I stayed in the Club Wing. The room was very clean, and the staff were kind, allowing me to truly relax. I hardly encountered anyone, and I could enjoy the pool and bath at my own pace. The Room was spotless, with well-stocked amenities and beverages. The lounge was excellent, making every visit enjoyable. The view from the Room was stunning and provided relaxation all day long. Although there was only one live kitchen station at the dinner buffet, every dish was delicious. Traveling with children, we were treated kindly and had a wonderful time. Thank you very much!

    Missed my flight and had to buy a new ticket, what a hassle!

    Despite missing my flight, this Hotel was so amazing it made me forget all about it. The view from the entrance was stunning, and the scenery from the lobby was equally breathtaking. The Room was spacious and comfortable, with a large and clean bathtub that added to the luxury. I had a relaxing and indulgent stay. The breakfast was delicious, and I got excited to see Blue Seal ice cream available! The welcome drink beer was exceptionally tasty as well. This is definitely a Hotel I would stay at again!

    Thoughtful service with just the right balance, not too flashy. The excellence of the Facility, including the Room, as well as drinks and meals, is outstanding! This time was a 2-night stay, but it was a Hotel where I wished to stay longer.

    Completely satisfied with the first stay at Orion Hotel

    I visit Okinawa twice a year, but this was my first time staying at Orion Hotel. From the moment I got out of the car, the staff's hospitality was excellent, the welcome drink was delicious, and the view from the room was amazing. The lounge was a very relaxing space. Breakfast was also delicious. The bath was comfortable, and I enjoyed relaxing by the private pool. The only disappointment was that the thalasso spa had been discontinued. The room amenities were excellent as well, making it a very satisfying stay. It turned out to be a fulfilling hotel experience.

    The accessibility features were excellent.

    I stayed in a barrier-free room. It was very spacious, with handrails in the toilet and a chair and non-slip mat in the bathroom, which were very thoughtful touches. At check-in, I was kindly informed that a wheelchair could be provided if needed. The view was great, and it was a lovely hotel. If I may suggest improvements, free parking, more comprehensive amenities like lotions, an expanded selection of welcome drinks, and complimentary access to the onsen would make it even better.

    Club Wing Superior

    When staying at a hotel, I often use the club floor and club lounge, and Orion Hotel Resort provided a very comfortable space. The dining experience left a better impression than that of Halekulani. Staying in the reasonably priced Club Wing has made me look forward to my next visit. The staff's subtle demeanor felt like something beyond just training.

    Great environment with excellent service

    The staff seemed to be making a great effort, which might reflect the management policy. However, the elderly gentleman managing and cleaning the pool had such a warm and genuine smile. It wasn’t about trying hard; it came naturally. A Hotel with someone like that is truly wonderful.

    Everything about the Hotel stay was wonderful.

    This was our first time staying at this hotel as a family of four. We chose it because of the excellent reviews, and our actual experience far exceeded our expectations! We stayed in a Junior Suite located in the Club Wing, where we enjoyed a calm atmosphere and a sense of exclusivity. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. Access to the lounge, laundry facilities, and pool was smooth and convenient. What stood out most was the exceptional service from all staff members. Everyone we encountered at the Club Wing and restaurant provided warm and attentive service that made our stay truly pleasant. Their smiles left a lasting impression on us. In particular, we were touched by the hospitality of the staff at the lounge as well as one male staff member who assisted us during breakfast. The lounge offered alcohol from morning until night, which delighted us as fans of Orion Beer—it was an ideal space for relaxation! We also appreciated that children were allowed to join during the early part of cocktail hour. One minor concern was that the entrance lobby floor seemed slippery with limited warning signs only near the car drop-off area. When exiting from the Club Wing side, there were no visible signs nearby, resulting in one of our children slipping and falling. Additional cautionary signage near entrances would enhance safety for guests. Overall though, this stay was absolutely wonderful! We look forward to returning to this hotel on our next visit to Okinawa!

    Stayed in a Junior Suite Highlights: - The view is stunning from everywhere, whether it's the room, the restaurant, or the infinity pool. - Beach access is just a 1-minute walk; you can move directly from the hotel's pool in your swimwear. You can also take hotel-provided towels with you. - The Club Wing staff were attentive and considerate. They noticed when I looked confused or lost and kindly offered assistance with a warm and polite demeanor. - Having natural Onsen at a Resort Hotel is such a delight! Areas for improvement: - There were crumbs from snacks left by previous guests under the chair on the room's terrace... It was on the 4th floor, but ants had already gathered there. - While it’s convenient to have dedicated parking for Club Lounge guests nearby, valet service would be appreciated. A major inconvenience that needs urgent improvement: - Although free laundry service at Club Wing is great, there’s only one washing machine per floor despite having about five rooms per floor... I had to check multiple times if it was available by walking back and forth to the laundry area far away... While other issues could be overlooked with humor, this one was quite frustrating. If possible, I highly recommend staying in the Club Wing as it offers a calm and peaceful atmosphere where you can truly relax without noise disturbances. It feels worth more than its price difference. Overall satisfaction with this hotel is very high. I confidently recommend this accommodation!

    Dinner was slightly disappointing.

    The Room is spacious and nice! However, the dinner was somewhat disappointing. The live kitchen setup seemed promising, but the chefs were not actively engaging. Typically, with such a layout, you would expect chefs to be present, preparing dishes like steak or tempura on the spot and interacting with guests. Here, steaks were pre-cooked in bulk and only replenished reluctantly when they ran out. Even after checking multiple times or calling for assistance, no one came promptly as they seemed busy with preparations for the next day in the back. Having traveled all the way from the airport to visit this place, I realized there are better options closer by that have recently opened—something I should have researched more thoroughly on platforms like YouTube beforehand. A famous Resort Hotel near Himeyuri Tower offered a far superior dining experience by comparison. Overall, I felt disappointed with dinner here.

    It was excellent!

    Five years ago, during our visit, a typhoon hit directly, and we had to extend our stay as we couldn't go out for an entire day. However, the staff's thoughtful care allowed us to spend our time comfortably without any inconvenience. This time, we revisited after learning that the club lounge had been renovated. We were delighted that they remembered us from before and enjoyed chatting with them about various things. The lounge is now more spacious, allowing us to relax throughout our stay. The food and drinks were excellent as well. The exclusive breakfast menu was incredibly delicious; the creamy texture of the peanut tofu was particularly impressive. Perhaps due to the rainy season, we had the infinity pool all to ourselves—an absolute treat! We truly had an amazing time and have already recommended this place to friends.

    Unlimited delicious Orion beer, with access to the lounge this time, made for a comfortable stay. The staff were very kind. However, the provided peach sandals were slippery, so some improvement might be needed.
