    It felt like being at an overseas resort. It was great that drinks and food from the lounge could be brought into the Room. I think this is a Hotel where you can experience something extraordinary.

    Be cautious on windy days.

    I stay here every year, and this was my second stay this year. On the day of my visit, it was very windy, and the sound of drafts through the window was quite loud, which was a bit disappointing. Additionally, the sauna in the bath seemed to be poorly maintained. The scenery and meals were as beautiful and wonderful as shown in the photos.

    Highly Satisfied

    Everything was excellent. The food was delicious, and the Room was clean and comfortable to use. Above all, the view from the Room was amazing. Last time, I thought it was a bit too lively, but this time I enjoyed a quiet stay. The food also seemed even more delicious this time.

    Girls' Getaway for Adults

    We visited as a group of six women. Enjoying beer while watching the sunset was amazing, and the meals, both breakfast and dinner, were filled with our favorite dishes. The staff were all friendly and kind, the room was spacious enough for six people, allowing everyone to relax in their preferred spots while chatting and having a truly enjoyable stay. If I had to point out one thing, it would be that there were not enough hair dryers in the bath changing area. We took many wonderful photos and are still feeling satisfied even after returning home. Thank you very much!

    The scenery, meals, and service are all excellent.

    We chose this Hotel because it allows dogs to stay. Unlike many Hotels where dogs and humans are strictly separated, this place is very dog-friendly with kind and accommodating staff. They immediately provided a stroller for our dog during check-in, and as long as the dog was in the stroller, we could access the lounge and a scenic terrace with a footbath. Even leaving the stroller cover open was fine (perhaps because our dog is small). Thanks to this, we could enjoy drinks while staying together with our pet. Guests with dogs can check in at 2 PM, earlier than others, allowing us to relax in the lounge or hall while enjoying various delicious drinks before other guests arrived. The lounge offers a wide selection of beverages, and baskets are provided so you can bring them back to your Room—everything is well thought out for convenience. Our family of four stayed in a spacious Room with low beds placed together. Our dog seemed happy being allowed on the bedding. The view from the Room was stunning; however, we avoided using the outdoor bath at night due to its loud bubbling noise when activated. The large public bath area provides bathing clothes near reception and plenty of towels by the outdoor baths. The thoughtful attention to detail ensures everyone can enjoy these breathtaking baths comfortably—it’s truly exceptional. The staff at reception, lounge, and restaurant all displayed outstanding hospitality that made our stay very pleasant. As rumored, meals at their restaurant were highly satisfying! However, it was disappointing that morning grilled alfonsino fish ran out quickly without replenishment—we missed tasting it. There are many walking spots near the Hotel where you can stroll with your pet; we thoroughly enjoyed exploring these areas together. This has become a Hotel we’d love to visit again!

    The Perfect Girls' Getaway

    We decided to visit an all-inclusive hotel with three mom friends, and after researching various options, we chose this hotel because it offers shuttle service from Mishima Station, all rooms are oceanfront, and drinks are unlimited from check-in until 10 PM as well as the next morning. The actual stay exceeded our expectations. A wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks were available, and it was great that we could pour them into glasses or carafes to take back to our room. The buffet meals were delicious, the onsen was fantastic, and everything was simply perfect. The stunning sunset view from our room is unforgettable. We definitely want to visit again!

    It was a comfortable...

    It was a comfortable stay. The Room was spacious, clean, and fully equipped with amenities. Since the weather was nice, I enjoyed watching the changing scenery of the clear sea and tombolo from the open-air bath on the balcony. The Italian dinner was delicious; I even had seconds of the seafood appetizers and main meat dish several times. The next morning's Japanese-style breakfast was excellent, especially the kinmedai ochazuke! As it was all-inclusive with buffet meals for both breakfast and dinner, my expectations for food weren't high, but I ended up being very satisfied with both. The staff at reception provided excellent service upon check-in, and those during dinner were polite and attentive without being overbearing. I would love to visit again in a different season!

    We had a wonderful time.

    True luxury is not about the quantity of food, but being able to enjoy only what you truly desire. It was wonderful to have an environment where everything, not just the meals, could be chosen and enjoyed at your own pace. I am deeply grateful to all the staff.

    I stayed here for my wife's birthday and truly appreciated the thoughtful care from all the staff. Overall, I was extremely satisfied and would love to visit again! While some Facilities like the bath, elevator, and hallways showed signs of renovation, the overall experience far exceeded expectations. Thank you very much!

    Excellent!

    The private open-air bath in the guest room and the open-air bath in the large public bath were both exceptionally clean, with breathtaking views! We booked a plan with breakfast included, and the food was delicious—our child was very satisfied as well! It was a hotel we would love to stay at again!

    Reform, improvement, progress? Don’t give up, Azzurri!!

    Every time I come back, it feels comforting and reassuring—this is the best place in Nishi-Izu! If you want to truly feel the ocean up close, this is the only choice. I’ve traveled to many places, but for sunsets and the sea, Azuri is the one. This time, I’ll share one good point and one bad point. In the past, dinner included a tasting comparison of Shizuoka Beer and The Premium Malt’s, and I was sad when it disappeared at some point. But then—amazingly—Sorachi was available, which really moved me! There’s a Sapporo Beer factory in Yaizu and I’ve seen other hotels use it, but I’m grateful that Azuri chose to offer it. The food is outstanding, so if you enhance the atmosphere even more with alcohol options, repeat visits will surely increase. With recent cost increases, my impression is that the buffet has become a bit more compact. The quality remains as good as ever—I end up overeating every time! What disappointed me was your signature free-flow system: due to Hotel reasons, even on a weekday there were no baskets or portable bottles for carrying drinks. When I pointed this out to staff, they simply said they didn’t have them. ??? I’ve been coming for years—what do you think of your guests? You should clearly distinguish between what you cut back on and what you promote as a key feature. It also feels like many items have decreased overall. Please make sure beer, wine, and supplies are properly replenished as well. Saying “because we don’t have enough staff” defeats the whole purpose. The location and food make this an absolutely wonderful Facility. Please let me say every time—even today—“That was great!”

Whether it's your first visit or a repeat stay, we believe you'll leave satisfied. While many guests arrive by car, the journey from Shimoda Station on a local bus offers its own charm. From the "Saphir Odoriko" train to a nostalgic retro-style bus, your trip to this beautiful seaside resort is highly recommended.

    Highly satisfied!

    After retiring from work in July, I stayed at a hotel offering a buffet with individually plated appetizers in a calm atmosphere. While searching on IKYU.com, I came across Il Azzurri and decided to make a reservation since my wife enjoys some drinks, and the free-flow option seemed appealing. The stay was absolutely satisfying. The drinks served in the lounge, the beautiful sunset and bright blue morning sea view from the room, the spacious room itself, the relaxing large public bath, and delicious meals were all wonderful. However, there were minor points that caught my attention: rust on the air conditioning unit on the balcony of our room, breakfast bread that could be improved, no tissues available in the public bath area, and heavy doors at the public bath (which seemed unstable). These are small details but addressing them would enhance an already excellent experience. It had been quite some time since visiting West Izu last time. This accommodation made me want to return again.

    On the 4th stay in total

    As a returning guest, I would like to share some observations from my perspective: ① Variety of snacks in the lounge Previously, there were Seijo Ishii's Neapolitan chocolates available, but they were not provided during this stay. Considering the recent rise in chocolate prices, this might be understandable. ② Grilled beef as the main dish It seems that the system and content have changed with each stay. During my first stay, it was order-based with free refills; during my second stay, it was order-based with paid refills; and from the third stay onward, it switched to a buffet-style live kitchen where guests serve themselves. This time there was also venison available alongside beef—a delightful change for game meat enthusiasts like me. ③ Check-in time The check-in time also appears to have varied with each visit. This time I could enter before 3 PM; however, previously entry wasn’t allowed until exactly 3 PM. Guests had to wait in their cars until then and rush in all at once at 3 PM, which caused delays during check-in. While still evolving after renovations and trying new approaches, overall satisfaction remains high considering the price point—especially since children under school age incur no additional charges. The room is clean and while meal options are not extensive, they are delicious—particularly the grilled beef which is a must-have for seconds! I look forward to staying again and wish you continued success!

    Plan with Dinner and Breakfast Included

    This is the place to stay in Dogashima!

    Stayed at the renewed Kyuu Sanshirou for the first time. Conclusion: this will be my go-to place for future stays in Dogashima. Unlike the large-scale hotels in the area, there are no large tour groups arriving by bus, making it a Hotel primarily for individual travelers. The meals, rooms, and Onsen all meet expectations. From the terrace, you can see Tombolo right in front, and the morning air is refreshing. If you don't expect full-service for everything, this Hotel is more than sufficient, and I understood why the prices on various booking sites are higher.

    The room I stayed in...

    The room I stayed in was the Deluxe Ocean View Twin. It was my first trip to Atami and Izu, and the view from the room and the footbath was so breathtakingly beautiful that it truly healed me! An extraordinary experience at an exceptional Hotel! The Hotel staff were all kind, making my stay very comfortable and pleasant. It’s such a wonderful Hotel that I would love to visit again if given the chance!!! Additional note: The changing scenery from the room between night and morning was absolutely stunning!

    One thing for complete satisfaction...

    Spacious and comfortable rooms, along with buffet-style dinner and breakfast, offer a wide variety of menu options. The delicious food was highly satisfying. The complimentary drinks (including alcohol) available near the lobby are a rare and delightful service, adding to the charm. This was my second stay, but I noticed one issue this time. The drainage in the indoor bath (both the bathtub and bathroom) and the sink was poor (the onsen open-air bath on the balcony was fine). I hope this will be promptly addressed for a more pleasant experience.

    The location, meals, and hospitality were all excellent.

    This was our second stay as a family. Despite arriving a bit early, we were able to check in smoothly and received a thorough explanation before heading to our room. The room faced Sanshiro Island, offering an amazing view, and it was impeccably clean. The sparkling wine provided as a Diamond Member benefit was also greatly appreciated. Although the weather wasn’t ideal that day, we were still able to enjoy the sunset alongside Sanshiro Island—it would have been even better on a clear day. Dinner was served buffet-style with an Italian focus, and the Acqua Pazza stood out as exceptional. Everything matched our taste perfectly. Breakfast was also buffet-style, with highlights being the fish ball hot pot and panini—a perfect fusion of Japanese and Italian cuisine at its best. We thoroughly enjoyed the lounge as well, making this stay truly satisfying. The hospitality of all staff members left a lasting impression—thank you so much for taking care of us! We look forward to staying again soon!

    A place you'll want to visit again and again, just because it comes to mind. Such an accommodation.

    Why do we always feel like staying at this accommodation whenever planning a trip to Izu? We've analyzed it. The atmosphere of the facility, staff, and rooms is bright and sophisticated. At the same time, it maintains a friendly vibe without being overly formal. There's an open and welcoming air that makes everyone feel at home. The Italian-inspired theme matches perfectly with the color and ambiance of Dogashima's sea. The selection of free drinks also aligns with the Italian image, reflecting their generous hospitality. Even though there’s nothing particularly outstanding about the meals or onsen, you leave feeling completely satisfied and often find yourself wanting to return to this resort again.

    As shown in the photos on the website, the view was spectacular. The meals were delicious with a sense of attention to detail. Above all, all drinks, including alcohol, were free-flowing. Plus, you could take them to your Room—a service that truly goes above and beyond. Definitely coming back!

    Experience ultimate relaxation.

    This is our third visit. Since my wife loves the sauna, we always book a room with a sauna. I enjoy the free-flow drinks here, starting with beer right after arrival. I especially love being able to drink cold beer freely after using the room's sauna and open-air bath each time. The room is very spacious and perfect for a relaxing stay for just the two of us. The meals are also excellent, allowing us to choose what we like in our preferred portions from a wide variety of delicious options—truly satisfying. We've already made a reservation for next April near my birthday!

    There were no exclus...

    There were no exclusive benefits for Diamond members. The seating arrangement for dinner lacked consideration. Even though we arrived during a less busy time, we were seated closely together. At the very least, guests should be seated with some distance between them. Since it wasn’t a fully booked day, the restaurant could have utilized all available space and arranged seating with gaps in between to create a more comfortable dining experience. Dining is such an important factor when choosing a Hotel, so this was disappointing.

    I had a relaxing stay.

    There were many young couples, but we, as an older couple, also enjoyed our stay. We were looking for a Hotel with a Room featuring an open-air bath, and it was perfect. The meals were delicious, and above all, the smiles and responses from the staff were wonderful. There was one spot where the air conditioning wasn't working well, which caught our attention slightly (but we're sure it will be fixed soon). It was such a lovely place that we would love to visit again. Thank you for the wonderful time!

    Truly all-inclusive! Alcohol and snacks from the lounge can be taken back to your Room, and the stylish Room with an ocean view paired with a welcome drink was exceptional. The food was incredibly impressive, far beyond what you’d expect from buffet-level dining. This Hotel is perfect for couples or married pairs. However, there were a few disappointing points: The sofa in the Room had noticeable stains, likely caused by spilled welcome drinks or similar incidents. Additionally, the air conditioning at the welcome drink corner seemed to be broken as it was quite humid despite a fan being provided. Lastly, I wish the sauna hours in the evening (until 6 PM) could be extended slightly longer. Other than that, it was an amazing stay!

    It was our first fam...

    It was our first family trip with our 1-year-old daughter. The Room was very clean, and the view from the open-air bath was stunning at any time of the day! Even during the busy morning hours, the Hotel staff waved to our daughter and treated us kindly, allowing us to start our day pleasantly. The buffet meals were delicious, and we were truly satisfied! The cheerful and refreshing demeanor of the Hotel staff left a great impression. We look forward to staying here again when we visit Nishi-Izu. Thank you very much!

    I stay here every year. The cleanliness of the room, the onsen, and the amenities are all excellent. The price is also affordable for a hotel of this level, which makes me very happy.
