    The food is absolutely delicious.

    I stayed one night with my son and his wife in a pet-friendly Room. Right after check-in, we enjoyed drinks including alcohol in the first-floor lounge, and since we could take them back to our Room, we spent the time before dinner pleasantly tipsy by the window while watching the sun set into the sea. The food was simply delicious. Even though it was a buffet, the sashimi was very fresh—just what you’d expect from Izu. Dinner focused mainly on Italian cuisine, with classics like pizza and acqua pazza as well as many creative dishes. Drinks were also free-flow, so we enjoyed a variety of beer, wine, and cocktails to match the food. One group of foreign guests was extremely loud and it spoiled the atmosphere, but I could see that staff members went over to warn them repeatedly, which seemed to ease other guests’ feelings a bit. I honestly thought that staff member did a great job. Breakfast was also excellent: along with Italian-style items like panini and zuppa, there were seafood rice bowls made with fresh sashimi and mago chazuke (tea-over-rice). We thoroughly enjoyed it from early morning. It was also nice that draft beer was free even in the morning. The gelato selection was different from dinner as well. There are two large public baths that switch between men and women at night and in the morning; however, one sauna was out of service due to an electrical fault/leakage issue, which was disappointing for my sauna-loving son. Still, overall it’s a wonderful Accommodation with excellent value for money. I’d love to visit again.

    We would love to stay here again.

    I made a Reservation to celebrate my fiancée’s birthday. Before our stay, I exchanged emails with the staff. Even though my questions weren’t directly about the Hotel—such as how to reserve a cake and recommendations for lunch spots nearby—they responded politely and thoughtfully, which was very helpful. The Hotel has been beautifully renovated, and we were very satisfied with our Room. The food was excellent, and even though we had cake later, we ended up eating more than we planned. A couple of things stood out: there were no instructions for using the in-room sauna, and the sauna door didn’t fit properly and would remain open by about 1–2 cm each time. Even with those points, overall satisfaction was very high, and it’s a Hotel I would definitely like to stay at again. Thank you very much.

    The Hotel was supposed to be wonderful, but...

    This was my second stay. I had remembered it as a wonderful Accommodation that made me feel as if I were in Italy, so I invited my family of four and came again. However... Compared with my previous visit, it felt like the overall level had dropped a bit. The service also fell below expectations. How should I put it... it felt like there was no hospitality at all... My elderly mother was with us, and it didn’t feel considerate toward seniors or guests with disabilities. In the large public bath, for example, there were only standard chairs and very few handrails, and the restaurant had no cart... This time especially, everything seemed to be “not available”... I was told the bathing wear would be provided at night, but that turned out to be untrue. At the restaurant, they ran out of beer, and when I tried to order a cappuccino, so many times there was no milk... Even though we were four people, we were given only one key—extremely inconvenient!! Even though our Room was executive class, the sofa was small and uncomfortable, and there wasn’t really a place to relax... And although there is a shower by the window, it isn’t connected to the open-air bath... unbelievably inconvenient. At dinner in the restaurant, they didn’t even have plain white rice—quite disappointing... I understand it’s Italian cuisine, but having only turmeric rice is questionable. Isn’t turmeric rice not Italian in the first place? If so, wouldn’t it make sense to offer plain white rice as well? Even though they had local wasabi available, I couldn’t even have a simple wasabi rice bowl. Extremely disappointing. In the morning there wasn’t any grated wasabi either... I also wanted chopped green onions... It has fallen far from my first impression and became a disappointing Accommodation. I hope you can restore it into a Hotel that makes guests want to come back again.

    For three adults in a family.

    This was our fourth stay. This time, I visited with my wife and our adult daughter. After check-in, we took a carafe of sparkling wine from the lounge back to the Room and relaxed for a while, then headed to the large public bath to enjoy the self-service löyly. Dinner was an Italian buffet with free-flow drinks including wine. A wide variety of appetizers and hot dishes, including game—delicious. At night, we enjoyed countless stars from the Room balcony, more than we’ve seen in a long time. We’ll be back.

    The view was amazing!

    This was my first stay in Nishi-Izu. We were lucky to have great weather, and we were able to watch a stunning sunset from the open-air Onsen bath in our Room. After warming up in the Onsen, we relaxed on the deck chairs and enjoyed a truly luxurious time. The buffet offered a wide variety of options, and the thoughtfully prepared dishes and desserts were delicious. I don’t drink alcohol, but I still enjoyed the many soft drink choices. The Room was spacious and comfortable, but to get from the shower room (and changing area) to the open-air bath on the balcony, you have to walk through the Room. This time I stayed with family, but if staying with friends or in-laws, it could feel a bit awkward. Also, after getting out of the open-air bath on the balcony, the foot mat is quite thin, so water ends up getting into the Room. Since I’m not comfortable walking back and forth between the Room and balcony with only one towel wrapped around me, it would be great if you could provide a thick bathrobe. Please consider placing bathrobes in each Room. The quality of the Onsen was wonderful as well, so I would definitely like to stay again!

    Breathtaking Views, Exquisite Cuisine, and Outstanding Value

    Overall, it was a wonderful experience. The all-in-one (all-inclusive) package was very satisfying, though I felt there is room for improvement in the quality of the wine. The ocean view is simply outstanding. The buffet dining was exceptionally high quality—more satisfying than many set-course meals. The guest room was spacious and comfortable, but the open-air bath was a bit difficult to use, and I felt there were some potentially hazardous spots underfoot. This is an Accommodation I would definitely like to visit again. I think the value for money is excellent.

    A Resort Hotel in West Izu with Views of the Tombolo Below

    When I requested a room change because the family who checked into the next room was being loud on the balcony, the staff responded promptly. Thank you. This is a Resort Hotel in Nishi-Izu with an open, airy feel that makes you want to sing out toward the sea from your balcony. A tombolo appears below. The Italian dinner buffet offers a wide variety of dishes. Thin-sliced steak made from locally harvested wild venison was served hot from the kitchen. It tasted like beef tenderloin or rump. I had it twice; the first serving was especially tender. Since it is wild game, there may be individual differences. The newly renovated 44 m² twin room felt spacious and comfortable. The room was clean and pleasant. The open-air bubble bath on the balcony is something to enjoy from spring onward. I expect replacing the carpet flooring in the large public bath will be included as a future improvement item.

    I was very satisfied!

    We stayed for two nights with friends at this all-inclusive Hotel. The Room was very clean, spotless, and spacious—absolutely wonderful. Also, the open-air bath on the balcony with an ocean view was amazing! We chose a Plan with breakfast only, and it was very delicious. Perhaps because the number of guest rooms is not that large, it didn’t feel crowded even on the weekend, which made our stay very comfortable. The all-you-can-drink alcohol—one of the best parts of an all-inclusive stay—also exceeded our expectations with its wide selection. The main bath wasn’t very large and felt fairly standard, but the ocean view from the open-air bath was excellent. If I had to mention anything, the basket for carrying drinks back to the Room felt a bit unstable and was hard to carry, and we thought dinner was quite expensive. (At JPY 8,800, we ended up considering eating elsewhere.) However, there aren’t many places around the Hotel that are open at dinner time either, so it was a tough choice. Overall, it was a very comfortable Hotel to stay at, and we would definitely like to use it again in the future. Thank you.

    Experience the feel of an Italian Resort Hotel.

    I stayed for one night starting February 4. The weather was great, and the moment I stepped into the Hotel lobby, I felt like I was in a bright Italian Resort Hotel. The free-flow service was also excellent, and I was able to enjoy it right after arrival. The food was Italian, and since this is West Izu, there were also fresh seafood options. I only wished there were a few more Japanese dishes to fully enjoy (for sashimi, I would have liked not only olive oil but also wasabi and soy sauce). I used the shuttle bus round trip from Mishima Station. On the way back, thanks to the driver’s kindness, we were able to take a commemorative photo at Uma Rock. Thank you very much. The Room and the bathtub on the balcony were both very clean, so I had a comfortable stay. We will be back in March with my daughter and her husband.

    I’m a returning guest.

    We stayed during my husband’s birthday month, and we were delighted that you prepared a towel cake in our Room. We were very satisfied to be able to enjoy a beautiful sunset while soaking in the bath in our Room. Both dinner and breakfast were very delicious. We would love to visit again.

    A bit disappointing.

    This time, I stayed in a Room with a sauna on the balcony. After checking in and entering the Room, the child staying in the Room above kept making loud banging noises. I waited about an hour and then contacted the front desk. They said they had warned them, but there was no sign of the noise stopping, so I contacted the front desk again. Their response afterward was good, but I wanted them to move the people upstairs to another Room or have them leave. It was fine that we were moved to another Room, but in that Room, when we turned on the air conditioner, cold air from the outdoor unit blew onto the balcony bath and it was freezing. Honestly, the original Room was better. I finally managed to make a Reservation for a great Room, so this was extremely disappointing.

    Due to having surgical scars, my criteria for choosing accommodation include whether wearing a bathing suit in the onsen or using a towel while bathing is allowed. Upon inquiry, I was assured there would be no issues at all. Additionally, since all rooms come with both a private bathroom and an open-air bath, I could enjoy the onsen without any concerns as it was just me and one other guest in the large communal bath area at that time. I truly appreciate this accommodation as it has been difficult to find places where I can fully enjoy an onsen experience. Both the room and the facility were clean, and the view from our room was breathtaking. The meals were also delightful; we thoroughly enjoyed delicious food and drinks to our heart's content, leaving us completely satisfied as a couple. Each dish and drink came with clear details about them, which we found very helpful. Since it seems like the menu changes with the seasons, we look forward to visiting again during another time of year. Lastly, the staff members were kind and attentive throughout our stay, making this trip incredibly enjoyable. Thank you very much!

    Did not match.

    - The room was noisy, and I couldn't sleep. Loud footsteps echoed, which was very unpleasant. You can also clearly hear the footsteps and voices of people walking in the hallway. - I couldn't understand why the meals were highly rated. There weren't many dishes, nor were there any particularly delicious ones, so I wouldn't want to eat here again. The lounge was also underwhelming. - While I understand cleaning is challenging, it was disappointing that the windows were dirty and obstructed the view. - Although I only used one side of the large public bath, the washing area was inconvenient to use. The sauna had dirty windows that blocked the view outside, and since part of the floor was broken, I didn't use it at all. - One staff member (at breakfast reception) had a bad attitude, and two staff members during check-in provided confusing service that left me slightly puzzled. Overall, employees seemed laid-back in their demeanor. - Cars get sandy and sticky from exposure to sea breeze. - Unfortunately, we visited when there seemed to be less desirable guests staying as well; encountering strange guests made this trip disappointing overall.

    Glad we met here!

    For someone like me, who values "being satisfied with an 80 out of 100," this accommodation was truly wonderful. First, the price is very attractive. It’s rare to find accommodations in this price range that offer a buffet-style dinner and rooms with private onsen. Above all, the unlimited drink service, including alcohol, was a major highlight for me. Combined with the stunning sunset ocean view, I had an unforgettable and beautiful evening. Of course, every price point comes with its reasons. The dinner buffet may not have as many options as some larger buffets do; however, for someone like me who gets overwhelmed by too many choices, it was just right. Additionally, since the building is a renovated older hotel, soundproofing in the rooms isn’t great. However, my room wasn’t along a hallway so it didn’t bother me much. The room also had an open-air bath attached; while it was slightly small and insects like mosquitoes could get in easily at times, soaking in the onsen after lightly washing up while watching the sunset felt incredibly luxurious and peaceful—it was truly special. As for the unlimited alcohol service: honestly speaking I can’t tell much difference between red wine and white wine (haha), but I enjoyed everything without any issues or discomfort afterward. If there’s one thing that disappointed me slightly: they didn’t have my size available for clothing sold within their facility. I learned they don’t offer online purchases or shipping from their warehouse later on—which felt unfortunate because their logo design is adorable even for kids! I really wanted to buy something cute for them but couldn’t due to this limitation. Hopefully improvements will be made here someday! Other than that minor issue though—I’m deeply grateful to have stayed at such a lovely place! It became one of my cherished memories. Please continue maintaining your current quality standards over time—I hope you thrive long into future years ahead! If given another chance someday soon—I’d absolutely love returning again wholeheartedly supporting everything about what makes staying here so special!

    Excited for your second visit!

    Thank you very much for your prompt and courteous assistance with changes to the number of guests, duration, and room. This was our second stay, and while our expectations were high, we slightly lowered our rating as the breakfast did not include golden eye snapper this time and the quality of fruits had declined compared to before. However, everything else was highly satisfactory. We enjoyed a relaxing time with your consistently excellent service.

    The meals were very delicious.

    The cost performance was excellent. As someone who enjoys alcohol, I was very satisfied with the all-inclusive welcome drink and alcoholic beverages during meals. Perhaps because it was a weekday, the bath and sauna were almost like having them all to myself. The next morning, I tried using the open-air bubble bath in my Room while enjoying the view, which was wonderful. However, I regretted not soaking under the starry night sky the previous evening—though drinking too much alcohol at dinner and falling into a deep sleep was my mistake!

    A very comfortable Hotel.

    There is no excessive service, so you can relax without feeling pressured, making it very comfortable. The meals are all delicious and highly satisfying. There is a wide variety of dishes made with quality ingredients, including creatively prepared options. The staff, seemingly all Japanese (probably), provide a sense of reassurance. While the building appears old, it has been well-renovated and does not feel outdated. The floor in the Room may sink slightly but adds to its charm. The view is breathtaking and truly refreshing for the soul. I would love to stay here again!

    It was my first stay, and the room was spacious with an ocean view. The open-air bath on the room's balcony provided great relaxation for both body and mind! The meals, both dinner and breakfast, were buffet-style with a variety of ingredients, and there was a wide selection of drinks to enjoy. The ice cream flavors were different for dinner and breakfast, which made it even more enjoyable! The lounge offered plenty of nuts, snacks, and drinks, which was very satisfying. The sunset view from the room was beautiful as well. I would love to stay here again.

    The scenery, service, and comfort were all excellent.

    We had a wonderful stay with three generations of our family. The room was very spacious, equipped with a hammock, allowing us to relax comfortably. The view from the private open-air bath in the room was breathtaking, especially during sunset, and the large public Onsen offered stunning views along with an excellent sauna. The meals were delightful, offering both Italian and Japanese cuisine featuring fresh seafood and local vegetables that even our grandmother in her mid-80s thoroughly enjoyed. One small suggestion would be to have more pasta options as there were only two types of pizza but just one type of pasta available. Above all, we loved the free-flowing alcohol available from check-in to check-out—it was such a treat! We look forward to staying here again in summer next time. Having stayed at many Onsen hotels with rooms featuring open-air baths before, this is absolutely one I highly recommend! Thank you very much!

    Year-End and New Year Travel

    Last time, I had to cancel my reservation due to illness, but this time I stayed as a way to make up for it. As my family mentioned, I was able to enjoy a very fulfilling two days. The room was clean and spacious enough for three generations to relax comfortably. The meals, both dinner and breakfast, included unique menu items not typically found in buffets, which were fresh and delicious. Sipping drinks from the lounge while soaking my feet in the footbath and gazing at the ocean was an unforgettable moment. The onsen was not crowded, allowing me to enjoy it at a leisurely pace. The New Year's Eve soba with gold leaf-infused shichimi added a special touch that made it memorable. Thank you very much!

    New Year's Stay

    1) The room had an ocean view and was wonderful. It included an open-air Onsen, but unfortunately, I couldn't use it because it was too cold. 2) Dinner was Italian cuisine, but since there were elderly guests with us, we could only eat a little. However, breakfast included traditional New Year's dishes and a seafood rice bowl, and among the 40+ years of annual New Year Onsen trips I've taken, this was the best. 3) Being all-inclusive allowed us to enjoy alcohol freely in the lounge, at dinner, and during breakfast. Only two groups were drinking beer during breakfast. 4) Although most of the staff were young, they were very kind and left a positive impression on me.

    The bath and meals were excellent. The sunset was beautiful and amazing, but it was disappointing that the bathtub on the balcony had not been cleaned properly. It would be better if the pet supplies (such as replacement pet sheets) in the room where pets stay were more fully stocked.

    Excellent service

    All the hotel staff provided pleasant service. Although we couldn't use the private open-air bath due to strong winds, it made us want to try it under better weather conditions. We travel to Izu every year for a family trip. If given the chance, we would love to stay again.

    The best New Year's stay for the third time

    The footbath is great, unlimited drinks are a plus, and both dinner and breakfast are excellent. The reasonable pricing makes it very appealing. Each visit shows thoughtful improvements, and this time the popcorn at the drink bar delighted the kids. The ice cream after the bath is a nice touch, but having only hammocks can feel chilly—adding warm tea or massage chairs would be even better. We enjoyed plenty of food, including evening beef dishes, welcome drinks, and a seafood rice bowl for breakfast. We look forward to visiting again!

    High cost-performance all-inclusive accommodation.

    This was my first visit, and I felt it was well-designed compared to other modern-style accommodations. The location is utilized to its fullest, offering a stunning view of Sanshiro Island from the room, large public bath, lobby, and footbath. The meals are served buffet-style, but the variety, taste, and creativity were excellent. One slight disappointment was that dining time was limited to 1 hour and 20 minutes, which made it difficult to enjoy a leisurely dinner. In other accommodations with two dining sessions, the start times are usually 5:30 PM or 7:30 PM; perhaps some adjustments in time allocation could be considered here as well.

    Delicious meals!

    I stayed in a dog-friendly room. The Facility itself is not luxurious but modern and clean. The room was well-equipped with a cage and two dog toilets, which was great. Unfortunately, the strong wind made it too cold to enjoy the balcony jacuzzi. The meals were very delicious, and the all-you-can-drink alcohol options were excellent! I would love to visit again when it gets warmer.

    We chose this accommodation to meet up with my eldest son and his wife, who occasionally stay here! The breakfast buffet was amazing, especially the grilled turban shells! It seemed like not many people were eating them though...

    The buffet meals were delicious. The lounge being available until 10 PM was very convenient. I chose a room with an Onsen and sauna, but unfortunately, the sauna did not heat up even after following the instructions to turn the dial. I informed the front desk at the end of my stay and asked them to check it, but I felt they might not follow up on it. I also tried calling during my stay, but the line was busy continuously, so I gave up on using the sauna. It was disappointing as I had been looking forward to enjoying the sauna.
