    It was wonderful.

    We stayed with one dog and three family members. Both the Italian buffet dinner and the Japanese/Western buffet breakfast were excellent. We were especially impressed that you could add as much salmon roe as you like to the seafood rice bowl at breakfast. The Onsen and stunning views were wonderful, and all the staff were friendly, efficient, and attentive. The building may be old, but it has been beautifully renovated, so it didn’t feel dated at all.

    An Accommodation where you can enjoy a wonderful stay

    I was happy to be able to celebrate my birthday here again this year. Not only was the Room wonderful, but the meals were delicious, and the staff’s hospitality was excellent—I’m always grateful. The towel cake in the Room and the mago chazuke I had been hoping to try for so long were especially memorable. I had a truly lovely time. Thank you very much.

    Relaxed time at a resort with breathtaking views

    I stayed in early June. This was my second visit in three years. The best part here is the amazing view from the Room, so after checking in and picking up drinks and snacks from the lounge, I just relax in the Room. I really love that time. The meals are delicious, and I’m always impressed by how hard the young staff work. I would definitely like to visit again.

    The open-air bath is fully visible from the guest room.

    The meals, room, and staff were all excellent. The free drinks in the lobby also offered a wide variety and were enjoyable. However, what disappointed me was that part of the open-air bath was clearly visible from guest rooms. Despite the warning sign before entering, it was still fully visible from my room. I only realized this after using it and was horrified. The hotel should verify how it can be seen from every room, and provide clear warnings at the bath area with photos or illustrations showing the boundaries/lines of sight. My high-school-aged daughter used it, so I cannot help but worry. Regarding the newly added sauna zone, we were told at check-in that it might be visible from guest rooms, but the explanation was so brief that someone seemed to forget and relaxed nude there. That area was also completely visible from above. Clear warnings should be posted in the bathing area as well.

    Various Reasons for Returning

    Our family of four adults stayed here last summer, and it was so comfortable that we returned again this year. Last year we chose the Executive Ocean Suite with four beds; this year we stayed in the Luxury Ocean View with three beds, and it felt more than spacious enough—larger than it looks in the photos. One person used the sofa bed, but the sofa is deep and long enough to sleep comfortably with your legs fully stretched out. What makes this Hotel special is the sense of freedom—it never makes guests feel like they need to be overly mindful. With the free-flow service, you can enjoy drinks while taking in the open ocean from the lounge at the back of the first-floor lobby or while soaking in the outdoor foot bath area. You can also bring as much alcohol as you like back to your Room using a dedicated basket, so you can truly relax and enjoy both the sea view and Facility at your own pace without worrying about anyone else. It’s also wonderfully quiet—nothing like some noisy resort Ryokan—and even the lobby is very calm. Both dinner and breakfast are excellent quality; everything we tried was delicious. This is a Hotel we would love to return to again next year.

    The ocean view and hospitality were excellent! I’d love to stay again.

    [What I Liked] - The ocean view exceeded my expectations. It was truly wonderful, and I could spend hours just looking at it. - The service from check-in to check-out was outstanding. Everyone greeted us with a smile and chatted with us in a friendly way, making the stay very relaxing. - The selection of drinks and meals felt authentically Italian and true to the concept, which left a great impression. - DHC amenities - Tattoos allowed in the large public bath [What Could Have Been Better] - I wish the Onsen had been free-flowing from the source. Also, while it’s nice that you can see the sea and the road from the bathing area, I was surprised that it is clearly visible from balconies on upper floors. Bathing wear is provided, but women and children in particular should be careful.

    We stayed here on Sunday and Monday of the three-day weekend!

    I stayed in a Deluxe Ocean Room with breakfast and was very satisfied. Perhaps because it was peak season, I was able to enjoy alcoholic drinks until late, and again in the morning. There is also a convenience store just a few minutes’ walk away where you can buy snacks. The sunset view from the Room was wonderful. The cleaning was thorough, and I had a very comfortable stay. If I have the chance, I will stay here again. Thank you very much.

    A Hotel with Beautiful Views and an Excellent Free-Flow Selection

    I’m writing this as a brief memo. We used a triple Room for two people. ■ What was good - The Room was spacious and comfortable. - The building itself felt old (perhaps after renovation), but it was kept very clean, and the wallpaper and other details were cute. - The view was great, and we could refresh ourselves by soaking in the open-air Onsen bath while enjoying the scenery. - We could take the free-flow snacks and alcohol back to our Room and relax there while having them. - The freshly made breakfast panini was delicious. ■ What concerned me - The wait time after being guided to the front desk was extremely long. Our arrival overlapped with a tour group, and multiple staff members were busy carrying in the group’s suitcases; we were made to wait for check-in until that work was finished. I think assisting waiting individual guests should be prioritized first—for example, by handling luggage later or assigning different staff. It felt like “other guests’ luggage” was prioritized over “the guest,” which left a bad impression. - For the large public bath, guests had to bring towels from their Room, but the number of towels provided in the Room felt insufficient. Since this Plan includes an open-air bath in the Room as well, I would like at least two towels per person prepared in advance. - For the open-air bath in the Room, we were told that because of its open design, wearing bathing attire is recommended if you are concerned about privacy. However, there weren’t enough bathing garments provided, so we had no choice but to wrap ourselves in bath towels. If it is recommended, I would like them to ensure enough are stocked for each guest room. ■ Summary Because it’s an attractive Hotel with strong points such as facilities and free-flow snacks/alcohol, it felt unfortunate that small details—like check-in operations and amenity management—were lacking.

    It was a Hotel that felt futuristic.

    We were delighted by the staff’s youthful energy and excellent service, the attentive all-inclusive offerings, and the delicious meals. There were a few minor points—some aspects of hospitality and parts of the Facility felt a bit dated, and outdoor units slightly detracted from the view—but overall it was a great Hotel with real momentum. We would like to stay again.

    It became an unforgettable memory.

    Thank you for helping with the surprise we requested (our grandchild and our son and his wife suddenly appearing on my wife’s birthday trip). It became an unforgettable memory. We could truly feel the spirit of hospitality from every staff member. The only disappointment was that we relaxed too much in our Room and missed the lounge alcohol service, which ended at 10:00 PM. I recommend checking in early—the free-flow drinks are a real treat for those who enjoy a drink. The location is great and the Room was clean. The Room we reserved could accommodate up to four people, so it felt a bit more spacious than we needed, but we still had a wonderful time with our son and his wife and our grandchild, who booked another Room. It’s a Hotel we would definitely like to stay at again.

    A wonderful Accommodation

    Stayed with our dog and four people. Right after arriving, we had drinks in the lounge and enjoyed them together with our dog in the lobby. The view was great—absolutely wonderful. This wasn’t the Accommodation’s fault, but there were a lot of insects around the Room’s jacuzzi, so we left right away after getting in. There were so many options for both dinner and breakfast that we couldn’t finish everything. My daughters were thrilled with the Italian food, but as an older guest, I would have liked some plain rice at dinner. I wanted to eat it with sashimi on top. Everyone agreed that the morning panini was excellent. Both we and our dog were very satisfied with our two days there. Thank you very much. We will definitely visit again.

    It was a wonderful Hotel.

    The view from the Room, the excellent work of the young staff during meals, and the complimentary drink service were all wonderful. At a buffet-style restaurant, not only replenishing dishes but also promptly clearing tableware from finished tables is essential to ensuring a comfortable dining experience, and I was impressed by the attentive and well-observed movements of the young staff I saw during this meal. However, when we arrived at the Hotel (just after 1:00 p.m.), there was a sign at the entrance saying, “Entry from 3:00 p.m. Check-in from 2:00 p.m.,” and we could see staff cleaning inside. Ideally, housekeeping should begin immediately after guests check out, and at least by 1:00 p.m. the Hotel should be ready for check-in—this seems like a basic standard for a Resort Hotel. Also, despite it being outside lounge complimentary drink hours, some guests helped themselves to drinks and were soaking in the foot bath area, which was also a puzzling sight.

    I’ve stayed here several times. With the all-inclusive plan, I start with a beer on arrival, take it back to my Room, relax with drinks and snacks, and enjoy the view of the sea in Nishi-Izu. That alone melts away my work fatigue. The Onsen warms me up wonderfully, and above all, the food is truly delicious! Both breakfast and dinner are so good that I end up overeating. The cuisine is the main reason I keep coming back.

    Room with Sauna

    We stayed as a couple. Because my wife has a medical condition and cannot use the large public bath, we chose a Room with an open-air bath. The view was wonderful, and we were very satisfied with the ocean, sauna, and open-air bath. The meals and service also met our expectations. Thank you very much.

    We promise you the perfect holiday!

    Our stay in Nishi-Izu was amazing! From the spacious Room, we enjoyed views of Sanshiro Island and the tombolo phenomenon right in front of us. The complimentary drinks available immediately after check-in were beautifully presented! We savored wine in the lounge and footbath while waiting for the sunset. The wine selection was excellent across the board. Most impressive was the quality of both the dinner and breakfast buffet. Everything was carefully prepared and deeply satisfying. We couldn’t try every item in just one night, so we’re definitely coming back. Because it’s an Italian-focused buffet, there are no unnecessary dishes—especially memorable was the venison steak, which felt uniquely Izu and is something you rarely see at a buffet. My husband went back for three plates. It was tender and absolutely delicious. We’re truly delighted to have found an Accommodation we can wholeheartedly recommend.

    A Final Trip for Two

    I am currently pregnant, and we chose Izu for our last trip as a couple before the baby arrives. I’m truly glad we stayed at this Hotel. The ocean view spreading out before us the moment we walked in was breathtaking. The all-you-can-drink service until 10:00 PM was wonderful—my husband enjoyed alcohol while I had orange juice, and we had an amazing time. This is a Hotel that makes us want to stay again. Thank you very much.

    We were very satisfied with the meals. Every dish was delicious, and the meat in particular was outstanding. If I had to mention one thing, there was only one type of pasta and one type of pizza, and we would have liked to try a few more flavors. The yukata-style bathing wear was not available at the front desk, so we could not get an extra set. Also, the bidet toilet seat in our Room was broken, and my partner said it was almost hot enough to burn, which made them uncomfortable the next day. There was also a constant trickling sound in the toilet throughout the night that bothered us. The nightwear is very comfortable, and I would like to purchase it. Where can I buy it? It’s not easy to visit by public transportation, but I think it is a very good Accommodation.

    This was my first stay. The moment I entered the Hotel, there was a wonderful scent, and the view of the sea in Nishi-Izu right in front of me felt so open and refreshing. It was an amazing feeling. I chose the plan with breakfast and dinner. It was all-inclusive, with a wide selection of alcoholic drinks, and the meals were truly delicious. I would definitely like to visit again. One disappointing point was that I wished the bath area were newer and renovated. The sauna is a barrel sauna where you do your own löyly, but I hoped it would be kept a bit cleaner. There was also a cold bath provided, but it was simply water stored in the tub and didn’t feel very clean, which was disappointing.

    Satisfaction with the Two-Meal Buffet and Lounge Free-Flow Drinks

    Upon entering the building, I found it to be a comfortable Hotel with a beautiful interior and thoughtful touches throughout. Free-flow service in the lounge is common, but here it is available for longer hours, you can take drinks back to your Room, and you can bring them not only in paper cups but also in glasses, which I really appreciated. In addition, the buffet offered many types of drinks not available in the lounge—such a full lineup that I couldn’t try everything—and the food was delicious all the way through to dessert. As for the open-air bath at the large public bath, once I got into the water I couldn’t see as much of the ocean as expected, but there was also a sauna so I was satisfied. Above all, I think this is an excellent Hotel in Nishi-Izu with great value for money.

    It was amazing.

    It was amazing. Everything felt just right. The all-inclusive drinks were well balanced—neither too much nor too little. It was buffet-style, and the food was incredibly delicious. Dishes were replenished quickly, and the staff’s service and sense of distance were polite and excellent—attentive without being intrusive. The Shuttle Service from Mishima was also very helpful. We stayed in a Room with an Aladdin projector; it worked perfectly, and we could watch whatever we liked. The bath area alternates between men and women, but it was a bit disappointing that one side doesn’t have chairs for outdoor cooling down. I think it would be better if both sides had them so neither feels like the “miss.” Overall, it’s impressive to offer this level of quality at this price range. We will definitely come again.

    Trip with Classmates

    This was my second stay. This Hotel offers the best value for money. The all-inclusive services were great, and the Room was stylish; even with five people, we could relax comfortably. The buffet also had a calm atmosphere, and we could take our time choosing our food, which was very satisfying. I couldn’t see the sunset either time, so I’d like to come back and try again. If possible, I would prefer to have two room keys.

    The sunset was truly spectacular. The meals were buffet-style and delicious—I ended up eating more than I should. There were also great spots to explore on foot around the Hotel, and I really enjoyed the trip. It’s amazing to get all-inclusive at this price. This is an Accommodation I’d love to visit again.

    Gazing at the magnificent islands of Dogashima, I was captivated by the brilliant sunset... Even with the generous all-inclusive food and drinks, everything was delicious thanks to the careful attention to quality. Although I noticed a few traces of renovations in this older Ryokan, the overall experience was satisfying enough to outweigh them.

    Our group booking changed from six to five at the last minute, and we were truly grateful for the staff member’s courteous and thorough assistance with the procedures. My friends were very satisfied with the view from the Room, the furnishings, the open-air bath, and especially the meals and wine. This is an Accommodation we would love to visit again.

    An Accommodation offering breathtaking views and exceptional cuisine.

    The Hotel is a renovated older property with a casual Italian vibe that feels very comfortable. It suits both younger and older guests. The view from the Room window was wonderful: you can see the tombolo phenomenon right in front of you, and in the morning the sea is a clear blue. While all-inclusive buffets with lots of dishes are popular these days, here each item is carefully selected, the wine selection is extensive, and we were impressed with both breakfast and dinner. The bath facilities are standard. We came from Chiba City so it was a bit far, but we would like to visit again.

    This is my second stay.

    I stayed here in 2024 when scaffolding work was underway, and it was a great experience, so this time we used the Hotel again for a family trip. We went to the footbath right by the lobby, but it was far too hot—everyone’s feet turned bright red as if burned. I had imagined pleasantly warm water on the lukewarm side, so I felt uneasy about whether the temperature is checked and managed daily. This time we stayed on the 4th floor, using two Rooms for two families. However, the hallway smelled strongly—like sewage or sulfur—and it was quite unpleasant. Also, when I visited before, dinner was very delicious, which is why I made this Reservation for our family trip and was really looking forward to it. It was still good this time, but the variety—especially desserts—had decreased significantly. There were no longer elaborate sweets like macarons or fruit pies; instead there were items like chocolate mousse, tiramisu, and fruit punch that didn’t feel very exciting. The lobby free-flow offerings had also lost items like chocolates, tea, and fruit-infused water, which made me sad. Personally, since this is Shizuoka—and drinking only juice gets tiring—I really wish tea were always available. Compared with photos from April 2024, it felt reduced to about one-third. I also unexpectedly started my period during my stay and asked staff about sanitary products, but I was told they didn’t have any. With nothing around in such a seaside area, I didn’t know what to do. Since it takes about five hours by car to get here and staying as two families costs over 100000 yen total—even though there are clean areas and tasty food—I don’t think we need to come back a third time.

    The staff are kindly attentive without being intrusive, which makes it easy to relax. If service is too formal, it can feel a bit stressful, so this was just right. The views are outstanding from anywhere on the property.

    Casual and relaxing

    We stayed for one night on a weekday right after the Golden Week holidays. The Facility and services are casual, which made it easy for us to relax. The views were amazing, and the free-flow drinks created a comfortable atmosphere—pleasant without being over the top. Perhaps because it wasn’t crowded, we didn’t need to set specific times for either dinner or breakfast, so my wife and I could enjoy the Hotel at our own pace.
