    We thoroughly enjoyed this extraordinary getaway.

    Our group booking changed from six to five at the last minute, and we were truly grateful for the staff member’s courteous and thorough assistance with the procedures. My friends were very satisfied with the view from the Room, the furnishings, the open-air bath, and especially the meals and wine. This is an Accommodation we would love to visit again.

    An Accommodation offering breathtaking views and exceptional cuisine.

    The Hotel is a renovated older property with a casual Italian vibe that feels very comfortable. It suits both younger and older guests. The view from the Room window was wonderful: you can see the tombolo phenomenon right in front of you, and in the morning the sea is a clear blue. While all-inclusive buffets with lots of dishes are popular these days, here each item is carefully selected, the wine selection is extensive, and we were impressed with both breakfast and dinner. The bath facilities are standard. We came from Chiba City so it was a bit far, but we would like to visit again.

    This is my second stay.

    I stayed here in 2024 when scaffolding work was underway, and it was a great experience, so this time we used the Hotel again for a family trip. We went to the footbath right by the lobby, but it was far too hot—everyone’s feet turned bright red as if burned. I had imagined pleasantly warm water on the lukewarm side, so I felt uneasy about whether the temperature is checked and managed daily. This time we stayed on the 4th floor, using two Rooms for two families. However, the hallway smelled strongly—like sewage or sulfur—and it was quite unpleasant. Also, when I visited before, dinner was very delicious, which is why I made this Reservation for our family trip and was really looking forward to it. It was still good this time, but the variety—especially desserts—had decreased significantly. There were no longer elaborate sweets like macarons or fruit pies; instead there were items like chocolate mousse, tiramisu, and fruit punch that didn’t feel very exciting. The lobby free-flow offerings had also lost items like chocolates, tea, and fruit-infused water, which made me sad. Personally, since this is Shizuoka—and drinking only juice gets tiring—I really wish tea were always available. Compared with photos from April 2024, it felt reduced to about one-third. I also unexpectedly started my period during my stay and asked staff about sanitary products, but I was told they didn’t have any. With nothing around in such a seaside area, I didn’t know what to do. Since it takes about five hours by car to get here and staying as two families costs over 100000 yen total—even though there are clean areas and tasty food—I don’t think we need to come back a third time.

    More comfortable than it looks.

    The staff are kindly attentive without being intrusive, which makes it easy to relax. If service is too formal, it can feel a bit stressful, so this was just right. The views are outstanding from anywhere on the property.

    Casual and relaxing

    We stayed for one night on a weekday right after the Golden Week holidays. The Facility and services are casual, which made it easy for us to relax. The views were amazing, and the free-flow drinks created a comfortable atmosphere—pleasant without being over the top. Perhaps because it wasn’t crowded, we didn’t need to set specific times for either dinner or breakfast, so my wife and I could enjoy the Hotel at our own pace.

    It was great.

    The Room was spacious, and our grandchild was delighted. We were also satisfied with the large public bath and the meals. The property felt clean throughout.

    Hmm...

    I didn’t have high expectations given the price, but it had fairly good reviews, and my niece—who’s about to start junior high—said, “This place!” so we decided to stay. The building felt like an old Hotel that had been renovated. Given the seaside location, some rust is within an acceptable range. However, I was concerned about cleanliness. It was hard to tell whether the in-room bath had been properly cleaned, and above all, the air purifier was covered in mold!! I avoided using it. (The open-air bath was nice.) I understand that older Facility features can’t be helped. But as others have mentioned as well, I think improvements to cleaning would be advisable. The meals didn’t offer a wide variety, but they were fine to eat normally, and the view was great. All-inclusive… I see… It might be a good place if you’re aiming for social-media-worthy photos. Sorry, but I won’t be coming back a second time.

    We had a wonderful time here—perfect for a family trip.

    We stayed as a family of four during the May holidays. Our Room was an Executive Ocean View Suite, and it was very spacious and comfortable. When traveling with family, choosing meals can be difficult, but the food served here satisfied our children as well, with a wide variety of menu options that we enjoyed. The Onsen and open-air baths were clean, and we also enjoyed thoughtful touches such as hammocks and ice cream. The view was excellent, and we were able to see the tombolo phenomenon at just the right time. It was also about a 5-minute walk to go see it up close, which made it even more enjoyable. The sightseeing boat pier is nearby too, so it’s a convenient location for those who plan to use it. However, there were a couple of disappointing points: although the in-Room Onsen open-air bath was a great feature, the layout from the shower area was inconvenient because you have to pass through the living room to access it. Also, although our Reservation originally had an 11:00 checkout time, we were told at check-in that checkout was set for 10:00. Even though it was during a holiday period, we could have adjusted our plans if we had been informed in advance. Even considering these points, we still had a very satisfying stay that felt worth the price.

    We were extremely satisfied.

    We stayed as a group of four adults with our dog, and our dog had no issues as long as we followed the rules. Every staff member was very pleasant, and our stay got off to a great start from check-in. Above all, the meals were truly impressive! Everything we tried was delicious, and it kept everyone in the family smiling. There was also a great selection of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, so everyone was very satisfied. The 80-minute dinner felt a bit short while watching the blazing sunset—it went by in no time. The foot bath was extremely comfortable. We brought drinks and snacks from the lounge and ended up spending a long time there. The only downside was that my son got bitten by quite a few mosquitoes at the foot bath—maybe because the humidity suddenly rose (haha). Our whole family was very happy with our stay, and we would love to visit again.

    This was my first st...

    This was my first stay since the management company changed. The selection of drinks in the free-flow offering and both the breakfast and dinner buffets have been significantly downgraded compared to before. It was blatantly obvious. I was very disappointed.

    It was really great.

    Although the meals were buffet-style, everything was incredibly delicious, and the staff were very kind and attentive. I wish there were a few more amenities in the Room. The relaxing time at the footbath was wonderful.

    The Italian buffet was excellent.

    It was my first time back in Nishi-Izu in quite a while. The Italian dinner buffet was very delicious, especially the Wagyu tagliata. The large public bath and open-air bath were also great. This time we stayed in a triple Room with a private open-air hot spring bath and a great view—we could see the tombolo, and the sunset was beautiful. The forecast called for rain, but the weather turned out to be nice, which was a relief. The breakfast buffet was also tasty. On the downside, the coffee machine only dispensed milk, and the iced tea machine only dispensed water. Another drawback was that the bathtub in the Room’s private open-air hot spring bath was shallow; I would have preferred it to be deeper. Overall, I think it was very good.

    What a shame...

    The location and views are outstanding! However, everything else was disappointing. The most disappointing part was that we traveled with an infant, but they firmly refused to provide a space to change diapers because it was before check-in. We were brushed off and told to find somewhere else. This has never happened at any Hotel I’ve stayed at before, so I was simply shocked. There didn’t seem to be anyone in charge, and the staff were mostly young and came across as unreliable. At mealtime, since our child has an egg allergy, we asked for assistance and were told to ask the staff about each menu item. But when we went up to the food area, there were clear allergy labels displayed. Are they working without even knowing that allergy information is posted? That was also surprising. Overall, it felt like a Hotel with no truly professional staff present.

    My grandchild was able to spend the time happily.

    Although we were a little anxious on our first trip with our 1-year-old grandchild, we were able to relax and take our time. The meals were excellent, and this Accommodation became a favorite for our whole family. Thank you very much.

    Although it was far from the city center and a bit difficult to reach, once we arrived we were very satisfied with the stunning views, delicious meals, and excellent all-inclusive service.

    Even after the renovation, some areas still felt a bit dated, but the delicious meals and complimentary drinks offered great value for money. I’d like to visit again.

    Because the Hotel is...

    Because the Hotel isn’t very large, the dining area is also compact. There aren’t many options, but I was very satisfied with the meal. It felt like I was able to try everything, which was great. Maybe because each Room has a bath, the large public bath wasn’t crowded, and the Room was spacious. Overall, it’s a Hotel that made me glad I went. It’s a Hotel I’d like to visit again. You can walk to sightseeing spots, and the sea is beautiful. Highly recommended. Thank you for your hospitality.

    I stayed here in April.

    We requested the Shuttle Service, and upon arrival we checked in at a seat with an ocean view. Although it was cloudy, the open atmosphere instantly made us excited for the trip. We chose a standard Room, and it was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. After dropping off our luggage, we enjoyed the free-flow drinks in the lounge. The fried finger foods were especially delicious—my partner went back for seconds (and said they could eat 10 more). There were also carafes available to take back to the Room. The large public bath Onsen was excellent as well. Both the dinner buffet and breakfast buffet were very tasty. The staff maintained just the right amount of distance, which is perfect for travelers who prefer to create their own journey. We would love to visit again.

    This is my fourth stay.

    Since my birthday two years ago, my wife and I have been staying here to celebrate both of our birthdays. I love beer and my wife loves saunas, and this place perfectly meets both of our needs—this was our fourth stay. After staying four times, I noticed a couple of things this time. First, in the Rooms with a sauna: the wooden floor outside the sauna becomes very slippery when wet, and my wife slipped and fell. Thankfully it wasn’t serious, but depending on how someone falls it could be dangerous, so it would be great if you could place something like a rubber mat there. Also, as a beer lover, I’d be even happier if there were more options besides draft beer—such as local beers or craft beers—as it would add to the enjoyment. We’ve already made a Reservation for my wife’s birthday in September, so we look forward to staying again. I heard that the management company has changed recently, so I was worried things might be different, but there were no major changes to the service or meals. We’d like to continue staying here in the future.

    It wasn’t as good as the reviews suggested.

    The location from the Room was wonderful. Since it is an Accommodation in Izu with Rooms featuring open-air baths, I had high expectations, but it was average. The open-air bath in the Room was not very good, and the bath and toilet in the Room were old-style and not comfortable. Dinner and breakfast were buffet-style, but other guests were noisy and had poor manners, so I couldn’t eat calmly. Water was gushing out from the Hotel building on the parking lot side, which made me feel uncomfortable from the start. It didn’t live up to the Review ratings, and I was disappointed.

    It was really great!

    The renovation has great taste, and everything felt pleasant the moment I walked in. Both the lobby and the Room were truly spotless. The Room also had a full ocean view! It was also nice that we could take beer back to the Room. The drinks were free, with a great variety. The snacks were a bit underwhelming, though. I loved that the bath and shower booth are separate, but it was disappointing that you have to walk around through the Room to get between them. Also, since it’s visible from the road, I thought it would be nice if at least half of the balcony had some kind of screen or covering for privacy. There are bathing garments provided, but they get cold when wet and aren’t easy to take on and off quickly, so having a privacy screen would be appreciated. I’m not usually a fan of buffets, but everything was delicious—so it was nice for a change. Overall, it was a very wonderful place. Thank you very much.

    We stayed in a Room with a sauna this time. The view was wonderful, and it was very comfortable to be able to use the sauna anytime. This is a Hotel we would definitely like to visit again.

    A resort with stunning ocean views right in front of you

    We stayed here for our wedding anniversary. When we entered the Room, we were greeted by anniversary towel art, which warmed our hearts. The Room was clean, stylish, spacious, and very comfortable. The lounge free-flow was wonderful—the view of the sea in Nishi-Izu while enjoying beer and sparkling wine was beautiful. Drinks and snacks can be poured into carafes and brought to the Room in a basket. We soaked in the terrace bath with our favorite drinks, forgot about everyday life, and truly relaxed. Dinner was an Italian buffet. Drinks were also free-flow at dinner, and I was thrilled they had Sorachi beer! The buffet selection wasn’t huge, but each item was delicious. The wagyu and venison tagliata was especially good—I went back for seconds. It’s fantastic that breakfast is free-flow as well. Morning beer tasted great while looking out at the sea. The panini was also delicious and memorable. Many of the staff were young, and their respectful sense of distance felt comfortable to me. I think the value for money is excellent. Above all, being soothed by the ocean right in front of you is priceless. Since the weather went from cloudy to light rain, we couldn’t see the sunset we were looking forward to, but I’d love to visit again in another season. Thank you for taking such good care of us.

    I was satisfied.

    Just as the Reviews said, both dinner and breakfast were very delicious. The Onsen was also great, but is a sauna that doesn’t get hot really necessary in the large public bath? Some guests may be expecting a proper sauna at this Accommodation.\nAlso regarding the large public bath: it didn’t bother me much in the evening, but in the morning while I was using the indoor bath, the noise from an outdoor unit was extremely loud and distracting.

    We truly appreciated your thoughtful consideration for my mother, who has difficulty walking!

    This was our second stay, and we were very well taken care of. As always, the young staff were very pleasant, and we were able to relax in the clean Accommodation. My 87-year-old mother has difficulty walking, so we requested a Room near the elevator. They also prepared a nearby table for meals as well. We truly appreciate your thoughtful consideration. The food was delicious, including seasonal dishes. The sunset was beautiful too.

    Comfortable stay, great food, and relaxing hot springs!

    The in-house services and the staff were wonderful. The meals were delicious, and we ate a lot. The three of us on our girls’ trip enjoyed wearing yukata while relaxing in the bath in our Room, unwinding in the large public bath, and chatting over wine in our Room—we truly had a great time. Thank you very much.

    The Best Hotel

    I was surprised that although the Room was very spacious, it was thoroughly cleaned and spotless, and disposable slippers for the toilet were provided. They were even a different color from the Room slippers, showing thoughtful care to prevent mix-ups. The open-air bath in the Room was an Onsen, and I could relax while soaking and watching the tombolo phenomenon at Sanshiro Island and the sunset. It was also wonderful to enjoy different views in the evening, at night, and in the morning—truly a spectacular景色! The meals were delicious, and it was great that all drinks were free as well. The Japanese Black Wagyu beef was outstanding! At night, the neighboring Room was noisy and I couldn’t sleep, so I called the front desk. They responded immediately, which really helped. This is a Hotel I would definitely like to visit again.

    Disappointed

    I was looking forward to the Italian cuisine, but since I don’t eat meat, there were only a few dishes I could have at dinner. There were also very limited soft drink options, so it was a disappointing meal for anyone who can’t drink alcohol.

    The food is absolutely delicious.

    I stayed one night with my son and his wife in a pet-friendly Room. Right after check-in, we enjoyed drinks including alcohol in the first-floor lounge, and since we could take them back to our Room, we spent the time before dinner pleasantly tipsy by the window while watching the sun set into the sea. The food was simply delicious. Even though it was a buffet, the sashimi was very fresh—just what you’d expect from Izu. Dinner focused mainly on Italian cuisine, with classics like pizza and acqua pazza as well as many creative dishes. Drinks were also free-flow, so we enjoyed a variety of beer, wine, and cocktails to match the food. One group of foreign guests was extremely loud and it spoiled the atmosphere, but I could see that staff members went over to warn them repeatedly, which seemed to ease other guests’ feelings a bit. I honestly thought that staff member did a great job. Breakfast was also excellent: along with Italian-style items like panini and zuppa, there were seafood rice bowls made with fresh sashimi and mago chazuke (tea-over-rice). We thoroughly enjoyed it from early morning. It was also nice that draft beer was free even in the morning. The gelato selection was different from dinner as well. There are two large public baths that switch between men and women at night and in the morning; however, one sauna was out of service due to an electrical fault/leakage issue, which was disappointing for my sauna-loving son. Still, overall it’s a wonderful Accommodation with excellent value for money. I’d love to visit again.
