The hospitality was outstanding.
We chose this Hotel for our three-generation family trip because it offers the beach, a pool, a large public bath, and a gym. Unfortunately, due to a typhoon-related boiler failure we were unable to use the large public bath, but we felt their hospitality more than made up for it. Manza Grill was a surprise for my parents, and the staff kindly picked up on it—offering a complimentary sparkling wine toast and taking photos—so everyone was truly delighted. They also handled an unexpected last-minute cancellation with great kindness, and we are sincerely grateful. It became a stay that will remain in everyone’s hearts. The sea was incredibly beautiful.

I stayed in a Room w...
I stayed in a Room with Club Lounge access this time. I was disappointed that the Room felt small and had a unit bath, but the view from the Room was great. Above all, the Club Lounge was excellent, with a great selection including breakfast, afternoon tea, cocktails, and light snacks. Drinks are made to order, but when my glass was empty the staff kindly checked in with me, which made it easy to request more—I enjoyed several rounds. I could have breakfast without waiting, and the afternoon tea was cute and delicious. The cocktails and light snacks were also tasty, and they even had chocolate fondue. It was a short stay, but I found myself visiting the Club Lounge many times. Both the drinks and food were delicious, and the staff service was wonderful—I highly recommend choosing lounge access. Unfortunately, due to a typhoon we couldn’t use the beach or the large public bath. We had dinner at Japanese Restaurant Unkai; everything tasted great and was served at just the right timing. Because of the typhoon we ended up needing to stay in Naha unexpectedly, so thank you for taking care of us. If I visit Naha again, I’d like to stay again with Club Lounge access.

We hope you’ll do your best.
I stayed again after a long time. Whenever I use this Accommodation, I always look forward to the club lounge. I used the club lounge again this time, but the comfort I used to feel was missing, and honestly, I was very disappointed. Even when cocktail time began, there was no guidance about hot meals, and the drink menu remained the same as during afternoon tea. There was also no check-in from the staff, to the point that it felt as if we were not even being noticed. The club lounge is by no means an inexpensive service. Because I look forward not only to what is offered but also to the time spent there and attentive service, it was hard to deny that the service had declined this time, which made me very sad. I hope to experience that same “comfort” again as before. I look forward to improvements in service going forward.

A wonderful Hotel that lives up to its reputation!
True to its reputation, the lounge service was outstanding. Time seemed to pass slowly in the Okinawan way, and we thoroughly enjoyed both the food and the sweets. We are grateful for the calm, attentive hospitality. From our elementary-school grandchild to my elderly husband (grandpa), all three generations were satisfied—it was a wonderful stay. We could feel the Hotel’s consideration and ingenuity throughout: a sense of luxury while still being enjoyable for families. There were absolutely no issues with the Facilities in the suite room—in fact, I sincerely hope they remain just as they are. If rebuilding becomes necessary in the future, compared with half a century ago, a 32 m² guest room may feel small; having a combined bath-and-toilet unit may be a drawback; and there is no indoor pool where children can play. Rather, it would be such a shame to lose the openness of the lobby floor and the flow from there to the outdoor pool and on to the sea. Making full use of this wonderful location, I hope ANA Manza’s comfort will be preserved as it is. To all staff members, thank you for your excellent hospitality. Thank you very much.

A Room that is too small for four guests
Our family of four stayed in one Room with four beds. There was no space to open our suitcases, and once we spread out our luggage there was no walkway and we couldn’t even open the refrigerator. Getting clothes in and out was very difficult. Even though elementary school children are charged the same as adults… I don’t think this Room can realistically accommodate four people. Breakfast can be chosen from three venues, but the Western-style venue was extremely crowded. We had to join the online queue at 6:30 a.m., and around that time the Hotel Wi‑Fi became hard to connect because so many people were trying to make reservations at once. We came to relax, but even in the morning we felt rushed and couldn’t take it easy. Unlike past Reviews, the live kitchen only offered omelets. The laundry is only on the first floor, and there are far too few machines for the number of Rooms. In the morning and evening we waited in line for about 30 minutes. Many guests seemed to give up on doing laundry altogether. Laundry fees are also on the expensive side. For some reason, the pool water was lukewarm, which actually made it feel hotter. There is a large public bath, but the aisle between lockers is too narrow to change comfortably. Some locker doors didn’t close properly due to poor fitting, and others got stuck so people couldn’t open them. The Hotel Wi‑Fi also didn’t work at all at the pizza restaurant on site. We were told we could view the menu online, but it loaded so slowly that it wasn’t usable. The parking lot is far away and you can use a Shuttle Service by van, but since you have to leave your key with them, if the counter is crowded you wait—and then you wait again for the van… You need to start moving about 30 minutes earlier than planned. Unfortunately, I don’t think I’ll stay here a second time.

The service was good, but
The amenities have been changed from individual items to bottles. It felt less luxurious, which was a bit disappointing. Overall, there seemed to be many children, but since it was during summer vacation, I understand that can’t be helped. I was surprised that there was no dress code for the lounge this time (some guests were wearing sleepwear). I assume the bath hours are set around check-in time, but I would appreciate it if you could open one hour earlier and close one hour later. Please consider this.

We highly recommend the lounge.
We chose this Hotel for the highly rated club lounge and the ocean inflatable obstacle course, and this was our first stay. Check-in was handled at the lounge, but after being shown to our seats we had to wait quite a long time. I think it would have been faster to check in at the front desk. On the first day, we arrived around 6:00 PM, so we were tired and ordered Room service. The Okinawa soba noodles were clumped together in places, which was disappointing. After that, we tried to take care of everything at the lounge during our stay. The food in the lounge was delicious. However, several times it seemed our order of service was forgotten; even though we entered earlier, we were kept waiting and had to speak up each time. Our Room had a large open terrace, but I was disappointed that it had a unit bath. Since we have children, we usually choose Hotels with a separate washing area in the bathroom, so I would have appreciated it being clearly stated that it is a unit bath. The Room is in an older Facility so it can’t be helped; while it was clean, there’s no denying it felt small. Also, considering the size of the Facility, there are far too few washing machines, so every time we ended up spending time waiting for one. Would it be possible to allow guests to check wait times via an app? It would also be nice to have a dedicated desk for club lounge guests. Since it was during summer vacation season, the front desk was always crowded and it was difficult when we needed assistance. I’ve written various points here, but every staff member treated us pleasantly, and I felt this Hotel is excellent in terms of service. Our child seemed to really enjoy the ocean inflatable obstacle course and fireworks as well as festival stalls and craft activities. Thank you very much for taking such good care of us.

An Irreplaceable Time
This was my first stay, as I had been interested for some time. I fully enjoyed the resort atmosphere. From the valet service onward, the staff were pleasant and welcoming, and at check-in they kindly explained the facilities in detail. The Room had an ocean view and felt wonderfully open and spacious. The amenities were well stocked, and the separate pajama set made it easy to relax. Our child loved the pool, and we could also walk along the coast to reach the beach. Since we booked a plan with meals included, everything we needed was available on-site without having to go out. We could choose a different restaurant each time, which was great for enjoying a variety of dishes. The only concern was that Room cleaning was very late. We stayed for 2 nights/3 days, but housekeeping on the middle day wasn’t done until after 5:30 p.m., so after returning from the large public bath we couldn’t get into our Room and ended up waiting outside while sweating. That said, I would like to return again to enjoy this location and service.

At last, I finally got to stay here.
My first trip to Okinawa was in July 1984. Since then, I’ve stayed in many places—Okinawa Main Island, Miyako Island, Ishigaki Island, Zamami Island, and Haimurubushi—but for some reason I’d never had the chance to stay at Manza Beach Hotel until now. As one of the earliest Resort Hotels to open in Okinawa, it still boasts an unbeatable location. The airy atrium-style space and the Room with a direct view of Cape Manzamo were exactly as I’d hoped. There are also plenty of marine activities, making it an ideal choice for families and guests with small children. This time I stayed in a top-floor Classic Twin Beach View (Twin) with lounge access. The Room was spacious and the view was outstanding, though the built-in furnishings and wooden flooring did show their age. That said, areas like the bathroom had been properly renovated, so there were no real inconveniences. Breakfast at the club lounge was also very satisfying—I didn’t have to wait in line and could enjoy it at a relaxed pace. If I had one complaint, it would be that despite staying during peak season in mid-July, many dining venues were not operating, leaving limited options. Perhaps it was because my stay fell on weekdays from Tuesday to Thursday. I wondered if staffing shortages were a factor—but who knows. It was my first time encountering this among the many Hotels I’ve used in Okinawa, so it caught me off guard. The breakfast at PST OKINAWA by the Sea and at the club lounge that I could use was excellent and very satisfying; however, for the reasons above, I’m deducting one star from “Dining.”

The building and Fac...
The building and Facility have been renovated so well that they don’t feel old at all, and everything was thoroughly cleaned, making the place feel very fresh and spotless. The only drawbacks regarding the room and bath were the limited amenities and the fact that when I ran water at the sink, I could hear dripping sounds from a leak in the ceiling. I asked to change breakfast to lunch, but perhaps because it coincided with an all-you-can-eat crab offering, there didn’t seem to be many hot meal options. Both the pool and the beach were very pleasant, and overall I had a comfortable stay.

A Hotel with no appeal beyond the beach.
I visit Okinawa every year, but this was my first time staying here. I had high expectations after seeing it on YouTube and similar platforms, but after actually staying, I was disappointed by many issues. It reminded me that you have to take vlogs with a grain of salt. First, when I checked in and headed to my Room, the key card wouldn’t work. I stopped a nearby staff member and explained the situation. They said, “We’ll bring you a new card,” but the replacement didn’t work either. At that point they should have suspected the door lock device itself, yet they again said they would bring another new key card—resulting in unnecessary back-and-forth. I was kept waiting in the hallway for over 10 minutes. They opened the door with a master key and replaced the batteries in the lock device, but it still didn’t respond. At this stage, any proper Hotel would start arranging another Room, but instead they kept holding cards up to a non-functioning device. It was unbelievable. Even when I asked them to change Rooms, it took far too long for them to act. The staff were foreign employees whose Japanese seemed limited, so my frustration didn’t come across. In the end I had to speak firmly in English before they finally moved us. Later, a manager who spoke fluent Japanese came out to apologize, but I believe the initial staff should have called their supervisor much earlier. In total we were made to wait 30 minutes between the hallway and a temporary Room. Because we were soaked from a sudden downpour, we got completely chilled and felt like we might catch a cold. After finally getting into our Room, when I used water at the sink in the bathroom area (vanity), water leaked from underneath the basin and soaked the floor. Water splashed up onto my feet as well—it was very unpleasant. If your Facility is old, please renovate it—or at least improve amenities. There were no skincare amenities at all. Another issue was the door separating the laundry/shower area from the outdoor pool area: It was so stiff that it was almost impossible for me (as a woman) to open. Please fix this. The one great thing was Manza Beach. Guests need about a 5-minute walk there via an exclusive pathway leading directly to the beach area. Breakfast tasted good overall, but I’d like more Okinawan ingredients. Having items like raw goya for salads (bitter melon), soki pork ribs (Okinawan-style), umi-budo sea grapes (green caviar), or passion fruit would make satisfaction much higher. Even JAL City on Kokusai-dori—where you can stay for half this price—offers soki pork ribs (Okinawan-style), umi-budo sea grapes (green caviar), passion fruit etc. Please review your service more carefully.

It was a nice Hotel.
Though it shows its age, the building has a solid, luxurious design that still reflects the bubble era, with spacious corridors, bathrooms, and Rooms. Due to a typhoon, we ended up needing a Multiple Night Stay, and they responded immediately. They quickly found us a Room even on short notice, and the cleaning was perfect. We had a very comfortable stay. I hope they continue renovating while preserving this building. The afternoon tea we requested—since we were stuck there all day—was also excellent.

You are welcome at this Hotel at any time.
This was my third stay with Club Lounge access. From tea time while relaxing and looking out at Manzamo to cocktail time, Orion beer was the best as always. The tapas and snacks were also delicious. Breakfast was excellent too. The lounge is spacious, so I could really unwind. Manza Beach Hotel is an older Hotel, but it is clean and well maintained. One issue was that the Room’s bathroom sink is small. Washing hands is fine, but when trying to wash my face, even being careful, water splashes everywhere because the sink is so small. It was my first time seeing such a small sink at an IHG Hotel. Other than that, I could see Manzamo from the Room and had a wonderful holiday. Thank you very much.

The lounge was satisfying.
Room 840 had a great view. The Room was average, but the bathroom and toilet smelled musty, possibly due to ventilation, and the bidet toilet seat was broken so no water came out. It felt like the Facility matched the building’s age.

Club lounge access included
Although it was the start of the rainy season in Okinawa, our stay was blessed with clear skies and beautiful sunsets. We chose a Plan with Club Lounge access so we could relax at the Hotel even if it rained, and we were truly impressed by the outstanding hospitality. From afternoon tea to evening cocktails, we were amazed by the high quality. The comfortable atmosphere and warm service from all the staff made us leave already wanting to return. We were also able to use the large public bath without it being crowded, which was wonderfully soothing on this southern island. I sincerely hope this Hotel will continue just as it is. Thank you very much for everything—we’ll be back!

Disappointed that the quality has declined.
I stayed here again because I had enjoyed the club lounge so much on my previous visit. The welcome gift used to be sweets in a box, but it had been changed to a kitchen towel. The amenities were also very minimal, with no cleansing oil, toner, or lotion. Afternoon time seemed mostly unchanged, but I felt the cocktail time snacks had become quite poor—only very light bites were offered. Breakfast also felt less premium: the Eggs Benedict that used to be served on a large white plate was now on a small oval plate, which reduced the sense of luxury. I tried the “Longevity Bento,” limited to 30 servings, but it wasn’t good. I would have preferred other Japanese dishes available in the lounge. Also, I couldn’t find an ice machine; it seemed there was only one on the first floor and I was told to use that. Since I was staying with club lounge access, if there isn’t one on the guest floors, I think they should bring ice up instead. Overall, the quality had declined and the Facility is old as well, so this time I felt that another Hotel would be fine next time.

Other than the beach and pool, it’s average. Breakfast is inevitably crowded.
Above all, the Manzamo view right in front of you is truly spectacular. At other hotels, once you get into the pool you can’t see the ocean, which makes you wonder why you came all the way to Okinawa—but at this Hotel, you can enjoy the pool while looking out over Manzamo and Manzamo Beach, which was very satisfying. We let our child play in the shallow kids’ pool while we relaxed by the poolside enjoying both our child and the view of Manzamo—it was bliss. That said, the Facility is quite old, so areas like the hallways feel very retro. It was also disappointing that using the large public bath and kids’ room required an additional fee. We paid 3,000 yen for the large public bath, but it only had two types of baths and felt fairly standard—personally, I don’t think it’s worth paying extra for. Breakfast had extremely long lines unless you made a Reservation in advance; we waited over an hour, so a Reservation is essential. Since we weren’t told it would be crowded, we went without a Reservation at 8:00 and didn’t finish eating until after 10:00—our child became upset and it was tough. The breakfast and dinner buffets were almost identical over two days with little variety, and most items were fairly typical.

Multiple Night Stay with access to the Club Lounge I’ve been wanting to use for a long time
We stayed in the club lounge for a Multiple Night Stay to celebrate my parents’ wedding anniversary and my child’s birthday. My child, who loves airplanes, had wanted to stay here for a long time, so we chose this Hotel. Hoping the food, service, and staff support will improve further in the future, I am sharing both the good points and the bad points. Good points 1) The Hotel prepared separate commemorative gifts and congratulatory messages in our Room for both the wedding anniversary and my child’s birthday. 2) The senior lounge staff, the special front desk set up in the center of the lobby, and the beach staff were all very kind and courteous. 3) Every drink in the lounge was delicious, and the view was wonderful. 4) There was a stamp rally that children could enjoy; after collecting them all, there were several gifts. 5) The beach and pool were clean and easy to use. Bad points 1) The IKYU Reservation benefits had ended in summer 2025 (e.g., free boarding tickets for Submarine Jr.). 2) Even after we got off the limousine bus, the bell staff assisted two groups ahead of us (not using club access), but there was no bell service for my elderly parents who were using club access; we ended up lining up with everyone else. 3) At check-in at the club lounge, a young foreign staff member who assisted us gave no explanation at all about lounge benefits (free access to the large public bath for lounge guests; free parking; breakfast can be changed to lunch; two complimentary press services; free rentals at the beach such as marine bikes, canoes, SUPs, life jackets, swim rings/floaties). 4) We made our Reservation three months in advance and informed them we were staying to celebrate my parents’ anniversary. However, it seemed our Room may have been changed shortly before arrival—the room number on the guest list showed signs of having been covered with correction tape. Since our assigned Room was next to an elevator, I could not help wondering whether our original Room would have been better than what we received. 5) Because it was a Multiple Night Stay, we hung a sign on our door requesting cleaning at 12:00 before going to the beach. However, even when we returned after 15:00+, housekeeping still had not been done. 6) There were leftover scrambled egg crumbs under a table in the lounge from previous guests that my mother stepped on. A young staff member only wiped lightly at first; in the end my parents cleaned it themselves. It also stuck heavily to their shoe soles and caused trouble. 7) Compared with other hotels’ lounges/food offerings، tapas could only be ordered once per stay/time slot (order-limited). 8) At checkout، an overseas guest ahead of us had a long complaint process، which made checkout take quite some time.

First Visit
This was my first time staying here. My main purpose was the floating sea obstacle course! It was May, but we managed to get through the cold, and as long as it was sunny, it was enjoyable. The staff were wonderful and very kind, which made our stay comfortable. As an Accommodation, it’s understandable that the building shows its age, but I would appreciate a bit more effort to improve cleanliness—such as stains on the sheets and dirt in the bathroom.

I stayed here for the first time in 10 years. I remember the Club Floor being on the 9th floor back then. This time it was on the lobby floor, and it was excellent. I was also very satisfied with the ANA Super Flyers benefits and the services provided through my IKYU status.

The Room was too cold, so I couldn’t enjoy my stay.
Some time has passed, but I saw your reply on another company’s site saying, “We take your feedback seriously, will share it with the relevant departments, and will work to improve.” However, nothing seems to have changed, so I would like to leave this comment. For this stay, I originally made a Reservation for two nights in a club Room via the official IHG website, but shortly before arrival I rebooked for four nights through IKYU. When we arrived at the Hotel, I expected a pleasant check-in at the club lounge while chatting with staff. However, my status as an IHG member had not been registered at all, and I was even asked to write my membership number on paper—this is when things started to feel off. Once in the Room, Wi‑Fi did not connect via the member service. Even after calling Instant Service about it, they repeatedly said only that they would “send someone up.” In the end, the staff member simply connected us using the non-member Wi‑Fi service—and it was so slow it was barely usable. Next, because the Room was cold, I contacted Instant Service again. They told me that “the air conditioner is fan-only,” and that there were no portable heaters left to lend out but they would let me know if one became available. As a result, we had to endure being cold every day. Later I learned that it seems heating from the air-conditioning system had been turned off. In response to this issue, the Hotel stated: “Unfortunately due in part to unfavorable weather conditions as well, we were unable to meet your expectations.” For comparison: at a Hotel in Naha City where we stayed the night before, there was a note on the air conditioner saying “cooling only,” and portable heaters were provided—quite a contrast. I also requested laundry service for two items; they did not come back by the scheduled time. After calling to ask about it and finally receiving them back (or so I thought), only one item was returned—so I had to call again. Furthermore, at checkout there was no mention of any of these issues at all from the lounge front desk. The receipt also did not include my membership number. While they strictly checked eligibility for lounge entry itself (which they should), it felt like more important matters were handled carelessly. It seems that under the previous general manager hospitality may have been prioritized; while some staff members—like those we first met—clearly understand this mindset and provide good service accordingly، many others appear completely indifferent. Despite this situation، it seems you have increased your Service Fee—what will happen going forward? This used to be a Hotel whose location and other aspects we liked، which makes this especially disappointing. For reference، for our next trip to Okinawa we have already made a Reservation through IKYU at another highly rated Hotel.

Revisiting after more than a decade
This was our first visit in a while, and our first time staying with children. I’d like to share a few concerns. We went to the club lounge right at opening time for breakfast, but the door was not open. Even after the scheduled time had passed, no staff came, and more guests kept gathering. In the end, we had to wait about 10 minutes before it finally opened. Many guests likely plan their morning around arriving at opening time—why wasn’t it opened on schedule? On another day in the lounge, while we were placing a drink order, a guest who seemed to be an acquaintance of the staff member walked by. Despite being in the middle of taking our order, the staff member started greeting and chatting with that guest and did not listen to us at all. We had to repeat the drink name several times before they finally began responding to us. It was extremely rude, and our whole family was taken aback. There were also very kind staff members, which made this especially disappointing. We also used Aquabelle, but the French fries were overly spiced and the pasta was far too spicy—despite being menu items children would normally like, our child couldn’t eat them. I’m not sure if it was just that day, but I would like to see more kid-friendly options. A family at the next table mentioned the same thing as well. We used the large public bath every day too, and my husband said that when he went in the morning, the water temperature was 45°C. Isn’t that too hot? Is it not being checked or adjusted? The lounge food itself was very delicious, and we enjoyed Ocean Park, fireworks, and the kids’ festival games overall. Thank you very much.

The bellman who assisted us upon our arrival on 3/5, as well as the bellman who came to escort us to the lounge after we checked out on 3/6, were both very cheerful and kind. Thank you for your thoughtful service and for keeping my mother company with conversation.\nThis stay made us want to return to ANA InterContinental Manza Beach Resort again—our sixth visit next time.
