    Family Trip

    Due to work commitments, it was difficult for our family to travel together, but we managed a one-night trip to Okinawa. Among the many hotels available, we chose this one because of its excellent marine activities, especially wanting to board the Submarine Jr., and made a Reservation. Although we were initially concerned about the hotel's age, only the room doors and hallways showed signs of aging; everything else was fine. The Hotel staff, submarine reception staff, and restaurant staff all provided outstanding service, leaving our entire family very satisfied. The bathroom in our Room was spacious; however, it was disappointing that there were no body towels provided. Overall though, we were extremely satisfied and would love to stay here again. Thank you very much!

    First visit in 35 years

    About 35 years ago, we stayed here as a family of four, and this time we booked through IKYU.com for just the two of us. We were amazed by the many benefits of using IKYU! The nostalgic building and the exceptional hospitality from each staff member left us deeply moved. During breakfast, we were captivated by how attentively they managed the hall. Next time, we hope to spend a relaxing day at the Hotel!

    Lounge Access

    I had access to the exclusive lounge and was looking forward to enjoying it, including check-in and check-out services. However, during the evening at the lounge, even though it wasn’t crowded with only a few guests, it was difficult to get drink orders taken despite raising my hand. Eventually, my order was forgotten altogether. If it were busy, I could understand, but this experience undermined the Hotel's otherwise excellent concept due to one male staff member. Other than that, everything else was very good; just a bit disappointing overall.

    Better than expected. As mentioned in other reviews, it was hard to understand the foreign staff's words. The cakes at the salon were delicious. A resort fee of 1000 yen was charged, but what is this fee for? I stayed at five other hotels this time, and only this one charged it.

    Stayed at the accommodation for my child's graduation trip.

    From the moment we arrived at the hotel, the courteous service made us feel great. We enjoyed various activities and had so much fun!! Although we made a same-day reservation at the restaurant, we were able to watch a show, which delighted the children. We would love to stay again if we have another opportunity.     I had a relaxing stay.

    In Okinawa, I stayed at a Hotel that has been around for a long time, but it was very clean and more comfortable than I expected. However, the variety of dishes in the lounge was slightly limited. The only disappointment was the Byredo brand hand soap, shampoo, and conditioner. As someone who dislikes tobacco, I felt like my whole body smelled like tobacco after using them, which was unpleasant. I could have asked to switch to another brand, but it seemed troublesome so I endured it during my stay. Other than that, I had a very comfortable and relaxing time. Thank you very much!

    The club lounge is excellent.

    I stayed here for the first time in over 10 years since my initial visit to Okinawa. During my previous stay, I stayed in a regular room and thought it was just a luxurious hotel. However, this time I chose a plan that included access to the club lounge, which completely changed my impression. I was amazed by the benefits of staying with a plan that includes access to the club lounge, as well as the excellent facilities and services. It has become one of the top-class hotels with a club lounge where I'd like to stay again. With that said, there are two points I'd like you to improve. First is regarding breakfast at the club lounge when choosing Japanese cuisine. The next morning, I went to have breakfast at 6:30 AM when it started at the club lounge. When I mentioned choosing Japanese cuisine, they simply said, "Japanese cuisine starts at 7 AM." This was news to me. There was no verbal explanation during check-in; later on, I noticed it written on an information sheet. Since it was limited availability food, I hurriedly headed to the club lounge; however, wouldn't it be better if staff provided guidance during check-in? While other information took quite some time for explanation due to its limited nature or could you start serving Japanese cuisine from 6:30 AM too? Avoiding causes of customer confusion should also be considered part of good service. The second point is also about breakfast in the club lounge. The doors opened three minutes late compared with its scheduled start time of 6:30 AM while more than ten groups were waiting outside already lined up beforehand without any apology such as "We apologize for being late," instead normal ushering began immediately afterward—if enjoying Okinawan time means accepting this situation then so be it—or if preparation delays occurred then that's understandable too—but isn't offering an apology common courtesy towards guests who have been waiting before opening hours? Or does this property operate differently? When asked why there wasn't any apology despite being delayed by several minutes upon inquiry made towards one particular staff member within their team working inside said area—they responded saying they'd confirm matters further but until now no response has been received yet anywhere else either—it seems disappointing how handling mistakes gets treated casually everywhere else otherwise though everyone makes them occasionally still addressing them appropriately remains important nonetheless overall experience-wise speaking generally speaking anyway regardless ultimately finally eventually     Surprised upon arriv...

    Surprised upon arrival Since we were using the club floor, we were asked to move our car to that parking lot ourselves. I've used the club floor many times in Okinawa, but this was a first. The Room is clean despite being old, but when I contacted the front desk because the heating wasn't working and it was cold, they brought a portable heater which didn't work because its filter was dirty. At night, it was windy and noisy, making it impossible to sleep; it was terrible. When I talked about this the next day, I am truly grateful for their prompt response in offering to change our Room. However, we did not change rooms. The meals were very satisfying.

    It was a family trip.

    We traveled as a family. We appreciated the simple lounge, large public bath, parking privileges, and drink service offered through IHG membership and IKYU benefits. For breakfast, it was nice that we could register online for a waiting list and wait in our room. As a small request, I think it would be better if there were more options on the in-room menu. Also, depending on the location of the room, perhaps from before 6 AM there was noise from what seemed to be a staff room? It was noisy with clattering sounds that made it hard to sleep. It sounded like morning preparations by staff (there were school trip students that day). I stayed at InterContinental Ishigaki last year in the club building but compared to that experience overall this seems like a hotel more suited for families with children, young people, and group guests. (It might be different if staying in a club room here as well.) If you are looking for a quiet adult-oriented hotel, this may not be suitable.

    Decline in Club Lounge Quality

    Every year when I visit Okinawa, I use this Hotel, but I feel that the quality of the lounge meals has been declining year by year. Previously, there was an omelet and warm meal service in the center during breakfast, but this time only fixed items were provided (salads and cheeses were buffet-style), and although there was meat, it was cold and tough. The content of the afternoon tea has also declined and was not delicious. However, all the staff were smiling and very pleasant.     Lack of coordination or strange responses

    The meals are delicious, and although the Facility is starting to show signs of aging, it is well-maintained and leaves a good impression. The Room is not spacious, but I was pleased that the toilet and washroom are separate. When I chose the Japanese restaurant for dinner, despite it being a dinner-included Plan, I was handed a menu, and when I pointed out that some dishes listed as "Today's Dishes" were skipped, I was falsely told, "They will come out later," but they never did, which was quite odd. The course (set meal) available with the dinner-included Plan is tasty, but it doesn't seem worth 6000 yen... Additionally, even though staff were standing idly, they didn't look our way, and it took a while for them to come when called. They also poured my husband's drink but left mine unattended. Is it because there are few people choosing Japanese cuisine that the staff are not well-trained? The buffet is more recommended.

    This is a Hotel you would want to recommend to someone special.

    My spouse and I stayed for 2 nights and 3 days. Although the weather wasn't very favorable this time, thanks to the wonderful hotel, we had a completely comfortable and satisfying trip! The lounge was particularly excellent. Both check-in and check-out were relaxed and comfortable, and we were very grateful to enjoy afternoon tea right at check-in. The savory dishes, sweets, and the hot chocolate we had with drinks were all very delicious. The bar time drinks and meals were also fulfilling, and everything was truly delicious. I was especially surprised by the deliciousness of the awamori cocktail, which I don't usually have. They even made us an original cocktail (which was also really delicious!), and we had a great time chatting with them. The breakfast was also rich with Japanese, Western, and Ryukyu cuisine, and since everything was delicious, we felt that 2 nights and 3 days were not enough, and we definitely want to visit again. The longevity bento we chose on the first day was a warm and delicious Japanese and Ryukyu meal, and on the second day, we requested an omelet, which was a beautiful and delicious egg dish that made us happy. The sea grapes and goya smoothie were also exquisite! The bright atmosphere in the morning and afternoon, as well as the calm atmosphere in the evening, were both good, and the scenery was nice. No matter when we visited, a wonderful time flowed. The atmosphere inside the property, aside from the lounge, was also good. Every time we took the elevator, we looked inside the property and felt excited as if we were on a luxury cruise ship. The large public bath and coin laundry were also comfortable to use. I would be even happier if the hairdryer were a new one. Above all, the staff were truly wonderful. From the time we arrived by car before check-in, to the large public bath and shop, and even when departing after check-in, we felt the hospitality overflowing with thoughtfulness. My husband, who always tells me I can freely make reservations at the stays I want to visit, said he definitely wants to come here for at least one night next year, and I was happy to have chosen this place. Thank you very much for making it a great trip! Although it would be a problem if we couldn't get a reservation, it was a hotel I couldn't help but recommend to important people.

    The lounge is excellent!

    Although it was cold in Okinawa due to the cold wave, thanks to the lounge, I was able to spend a very relaxing and enjoyable time at the Hotel this year as well. The large public bath was crowded every day, so I tried changing the time and was able to enjoy a leisurely bath almost privately. Thank you for taking care of us.

    A Hotel with great access to activities and sightseeing.

    Stayed in February for two people. A Hotel ideal for accommodating groups. Despite the strong winds and cold weather on this day, the temperature of the large bath was 40.1°C. The women bathing mentioned that the water wasn't hot enough, making it feel cold. While this temperature might be fine on a warm day, it was a cold day, so we wished it had been hotter. Additionally, the Room amenities lacked enough hairbrushes for the number of guests. Upon inquiry, it seemed there was only one per Room, with additional ones provided upon request. Sharing a hairbrush for two people? This was a first for us. Is this typical for international chains? This Property did not suit us.

    Enjoyed our stay after 5 years.

    It was my first stay in 5 years, and I truly enjoyed it. We were well taken care of from the moment we arrived. For our group of four, only two adults had the lounge access Plan, but we were able to relax comfortably. The weather was not the best, but we managed to take a short walk. I would love to visit again. Thank you very much.

    It was our first stay in Okinawa with 10 family members and relatives. Although we arrived tired due to the late arrival of our flight, we were grateful for the warm guidance of the porter, which allowed us to check in at the club lounge. We were also taken care of by the staff at the club lounge for various matters, such as the Reservation for shabu-shabu. Everyone was genuinely kind and warm, making our stay very enjoyable. We are truly grateful. The cocktail food served and the Japanese breakfast were of very high quality and extremely delicious. All of our family members were very pleased. The beautiful ocean view from the Room was truly soothing, and we also enjoyed the room service. We will definitely stay again. Thank you so much!

    I was able to stay at a great price during the off-season, and I could also use the club lounge, making it a wonderful stay. The hospitality of the staff was excellent, and the light meals and alcohol in the lounge were superb. I would like to visit again during the on-season.

    I was very satisfied.

    I used the club lounge. The very spacious lounge had a great view, and I was able to relax comfortably on the sofa seats. The meals were also plentiful and very satisfying! The smiles of all the staff were wonderful, and I was able to spend my time very pleasantly. Thank you very much.

    Had a comfortable stay.

    The Hotel offers a comfortable stay for both families and seniors. With its spacious grounds, you can enjoy strolling around the property, and the buffet featuring a variety of Okinawan dishes was delightful. As a Diamond member, I enjoyed perks such as room upgrades and discounts at the shop, which added great value. During the off-season, the Hotel felt calm and relaxing, making my stay truly enjoyable. The guest room amenities received 3 stars because the scent of shampoos and other toiletries was slightly too strong.

    As expected of the Hotel

    First visit. Stayed reasonably during the off-season in December. The luxury of the club lounge is impressive. I enjoyed my stay at the Hotel. It was a Hotel that made me want to stay for many nights.

    3 Nights 4 Days with Club Lounge Access. The facilities, such as the large public bath and garden, are excellent. Perhaps due to the off-peak season, many of the lounge staff seem to be trainees for inbound support, making it difficult to communicate requests. Additionally, even when asking the veteran staff in the club lounge for bed-making or additional amenities, the request does not reach the instant service, requiring a re-request from the room. There is no recognition of IHG membership status, and the pre-registered requests for the stay are not reflected. For multiple night stays, only the minimum amenities such as toothbrushes are added. No room cleaning is provided. The difference in the club lounge, room, and service compared to Ishigaki Island is vast. I intended this as a preview for the best season in summer, but I don't think there will be a next time. It's unfortunate, as there were many wonderful staff members.

    It was a dream lounge.

    I had always dreamed of staying in a room with lounge access, inspired by videos and accommodation blogs. I was really looking forward to my stay, but ended up being somewhat disappointed. I don't think I'll use it next time. Blogs and videos mentioned that you could get refills of afternoon cakes and warm evening dishes in the lounge, and that there were three breakfast venues you could hop between. However, in reality, refills were not available, and breakfast was only provided in the lounge, making venue hopping impossible. The staff member who explained this seemed somewhat cold, giving the impression of "What is this person talking about?" Although there were polite and kind staff, one bad impression can lower overall satisfaction. My breakfast orders were repeatedly forgotten, and although late checkout was possible with IKYU benefits, I left early. Additionally, the room upgrade benefit for IKYU Diamond members was not applied, and a cleaning cart was left in front of the room, with trash and towels from other rooms left right in front, which was unpleasant and did not leave a clean impression. Other hotel lounges have live music bands and offer small services like giving mineral water upon departure, which enhance the resort feel, but you shouldn't expect such services here. Even without a room with lounge access, there is a small lounge for other room guests, which I think is sufficient. However, the color of the sea and the beauty of the sunset visible from the room were wonderful.

    Staying at this Hotel for the first time in about 25 years. I have nostalgic memories of enjoying swimming in the sea with my children... It was still a comfortable Hotel. Thank you for your thoughtfulness on our wedding anniversary. I would like to stay again on my next trip to Okinawa.

    Another wonderful stay.

    I was able to have a very relaxing time again. I love the atmosphere of the club lounge. The space where you can relax while looking at the sea is truly luxurious. The staff were as attentive as ever, which was great. I was also very satisfied with the breakfast in the lounge. There are dishes that are delightful for tourists like me, such as Okinawan cuisine. Even the sausages were made from Agu pork? I was very pleased that even the small items were local. I was generally satisfied with the cocktail time in the evening, but if I had to say, it would be nice to have at least one main hot dish, like Okinawan cuisine, on the buffet table. The dishes served on plates might be that, but the portions are small... Was it the quiche on the buffet table? This might have been one of the hot meals, but it was popular and quickly ran out, and was not replenished halfway through, so it would be nice if you could consider having at least one main or signature dish (that is always replenished) in the future. I would like to continue staying in the future.

    Revisit Done

    I have stayed at Manza Beach 8 times, and this was my second time with a lounge access plan since the COVID-19 pandemic. To be honest, I didn't have a good impression of the room or the lounge last time, so I wasn't expecting much. However, the room has been renovated and is now bright and has a wonderful resort feel. The room is not honestly spacious, but it is sufficient for a couple to stay. Also, the afternoon tea sweets in the lounge have become very delicious. Last time, I thought the sweets were just sweet and not tasty, but this time they were less sweet, each with its own character, and very delicious. The lounge drinks and meals were of high quality, as expected! The staff responded with a smile. Also, when I was walking in the morning, I passed by an employee on their way to work, and they greeted me, so I greeted them back. It's a small thing, but it feels very pleasant. I felt the high quality of the hotel. The cleaning staff and laundry staff also provided pleasant service. This time, I stayed for 4 nights, with 2 nights at a different hotel, but overall, I thought Manza Beach was better. I want to stay every year. Next month, I will stay at ANA's Ishigaki Island.
