    This was my first time staying here, and with convenient access from the station and a spacious Room, I was able to relax comfortably. The staff's service was excellent. Thank you very much.

    It was comfortable.

    I stayed here to watch a baseball game, and I was truly impressed by this first-class Hotel. The staff were very polite from check-in, and they even carried my luggage to the Room. The Room was very comfortable and user-friendly, with a great view that allowed me to relax in an elegant atmosphere. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. There were unique offerings like morning ramen, fried horse mackerel, and freshly made rice balls—services you don't usually see at other Hotels—which made the morning enjoyable. Additionally, the cakes sold in the lobby were incredibly tasty. I will definitely stay here again!

    Breakfast

    The omelet at breakfast is always delicious, and I appreciate the care put into making it. This time, there were rice balls as well, and the rice was tasty. The staff member who served them was very kind. There was also watermelon among the fruits—it was my first of the season. While the taste was average, it was cut into small cubes with seeds still in them, which made it a bit inconvenient to eat. For this stay, my room was on a mid-level floor; next time, I would prefer a higher floor.

    I stayed for two nig...

    I stayed for two nights for an event at Makuhari Messe. Although the shower and other facilities are a bit old, everything was thoroughly cleaned. Since Makuhari Messe is nearby, I could avoid waiting times and restroom lines by returning to my hotel room, which was very convenient. Above all, every staff member I interacted with was kind, courteous, and excellent. I would definitely like to stay here again if there’s another event at Makuhari Messe.

    Safe and Reliable

    This was my first time using this Hotel. I had occasionally used affiliated Hotels in Tokyo, so I made the Reservation without worry. The Facility shows some age, but it was well-maintained, and the meals were delicious. The staff were kind and attentive, which eased my anxiety about traveling alone to an unfamiliar place. I was able to enjoy my stay with peace of mind.

    Stayed for 2 nights.

    The hotel was within walking distance from the station, but due to the intense heat, I used a taxi twice. Breakfast featured a menu inspired by local Chiba products and was delicious. The Room was spacious, relaxing, and comfortable.

    The young staff are wonderful, but unfortunately...

    It is unpleasant when front desk staff work with their hands in their pockets. I always enjoy staying here, and I especially appreciate the pleasant service from the younger staff members. However, Sunday, June 15th, 2024, turned out to be an unfortunate day. The smiles of all the front desk staff seemed dimmed. A male staff member who appeared to be a supervisor stood out with his presence and had his hands in his pockets; when I looked at him closely, he glared back at me. Because of him alone, it felt like the smiles of all the staff were overshadowed. It was disappointing because during my previous stay, I was uplifted by the wonderful smiles of young staff members who took pride in their smile training. This kind of feedback is not enjoyable to share; however, I felt compelled to post this as it would be sad if promising young talents were held back by such behavior. Even if there are fewer people offering guidance these days, one should not mistake themselves as superior and act arrogantly. I hope for improvements as I would like to continue staying here in the future. On a positive note, breakfast has become more delicious after some time!

    The room with an oce...

    The room with an ocean view was breathtaking. There were more than enough towels, which was very helpful. The cups were wrapped in bags, giving a clean and hygienic impression. With a shower booth available, I could relax and soak in the bathtub comfortably. For breakfast, there were original omelets and ramen that I ended up eating almost every day because they were so delicious. I also enjoyed dinner with friends at the same restaurant as breakfast; the atmosphere was different from the morning, which was delightful as well. The staff provided clear explanations that helped us decide on our dinner menu, and we were very satisfied with our choices.

    Check-in was later than expected, but...

    There was a concert nearby on this day, and we arrived at the Hotel around the time of the restaurant's last order. Although it was a Plan with breakfast and dinner included, allowing us to use meal vouchers at the restaurant, we couldn't make it in time. The staff kindly switched to room service for us. With the remaining coupons, we took out some cake, which was very delicious and brought us joy. We are grateful for the excellent service at reception and their kind attitude and words. We would love to come back if given another opportunity.

    Full of dissatisfaction.

    The Facility is older due to its age, so some aspects may feel outdated, especially the water facilities, which can be inconvenient to use. A renovation might be worth considering. The staff seems polite but could benefit from a more cheerful demeanor during interactions. Additionally, the elevator noise was quite loud; it would have been helpful if this had been mentioned at check-in.

    The service at Baycourt Cafe was excellent.

    I frequently visit Makuhari for events and have stayed at various Hotels in the area. While most Hotels are somewhat aged, New Otani felt particularly retro. The water facilities were a bit disappointing, but the Room size was sufficient. Its proximity to Makuhari Messe makes it more convenient than Springs, especially for early mornings. The service at Bay Court Café on the 24th floor was excellent, which made up for the average taste of the food.

    Comfortable!

    This is my go-to accommodation when visiting Makuhari. Although I sometimes stay at other hotels due to availability, regardless of the age of the facility or building, the hospitality here is outstanding compared to other hotels.

    The day before Golde...

    The day before Golden Week, I found an affordable plan with a random room assignment and stayed with my daughter. I didn’t have high expectations, but the room was more spacious than expected, had a relaxing setup, and faced the ocean, offering an amazing view! The Marine Stadium, Skytree, and Messe were beautifully tinted by the sunset colors—it was truly moving. The downsides were the refrigerator that wasn’t cold at all and the bathtub showing its age. However, everything was cleaned impeccably—just as expected from a first-class hotel. I’d love to stay again. Thank you to all the hotel staff for creating such wonderful memories!

    The facility is a bit limited.

    As it is an old Hotel, the aging of the Facility is understandable. However, there was a significant buildup of limescale on the showerhead, and the cleanliness of the toilet was quite concerning. The Room itself was spacious and clean, but unfortunately, only the water facilities were disappointing.

    After the dinner sho...

    After the dinner show, I stayed in a twin room. The room had only one simple chair and no small sofa. It felt like one person always had to stand. Having just one chair in a twin room, despite having enough space, is quite unusual. Additionally, this was my own mistake: I forgot to unplug the charging cable near the bed after removing my smartphone. When I inquired about it later, it seemed not to be understood—perhaps they were not familiar with using smartphones?

    Affordable! Perfect for No Meals Included stay after a live event.

    We stayed as a pair. It was 5,000 yen per person, so we didn’t expect much, but it was more spacious and cleaner than we thought! Being on the 12th floor, the view was also great.

    Due to a sudden business trip, I made a reservation at your hotel without much thought. While many hotels nowadays are overly stylish and not very appealing, I was pleasantly surprised by the calm European-style atmosphere of your hotel.     I always visit when I want a change of pace. The sunset view from the Room is beautiful, and it's very relaxing. Breakfast was room service, but it would be nice if it included a salad.

    Excellent.

    The attention to detail was truly exceptional. Although it was a business trip, the comfort made me not want to leave the Hotel. I will definitely stay here again next time. I didn’t have any meals, but I enjoyed a relaxing tea time and evening bar on the 24th floor. The atmosphere at night was especially calm and serene, allowing me to enjoy my time at the Hotel after a long while.

    It was comfortable.

    The Room and bed were spacious and comfortable, with plenty of towels provided. The closet space was convenient for storing luggage. Unlike other Hotels of the same class where the smell of towels, pillows, or nightwear can be an issue, everything here was clean and fresh, making my stay very pleasant. The staff greeted guests properly in passing, which added to the comfortable atmosphere. I will definitely use this Hotel again.

    Full of dissatisfaction.

    A clump of hair, seemingly removed from the drain during cleaning, was left on the sink. This greatly ruined my mood just as I was about to relax in the Room. Regarding breakfast: It was disappointing that there was no orange juice. Children might not have anything suitable to drink—grapefruit juice is too bitter, and vinegar drinks are too pretentious. A simple drink server like those at "The Lounge" would be much better. As for the pancakes—they were terrible and shouldn't even be called pancakes. McDonald's hotcakes are far superior in taste. The curry would appeal to more people if it were a regular curry instead of black curry. Adding boiled eggs, thick omelets, or seaweed would make it perfect! For soup options, corn soup or minestrone might work better than what’s currently offered. As for noodles, pho isn't necessary; something like spaghetti Napolitana would be preferable. Overall, I suggest taking inspiration from other Hotel menus for improvement. Lastly, even chain Business Hotels these days provide air purifiers or humidifiers in their Rooms—it’s time to consider adding them here as well! Adjusting the bathwater temperature is also quite difficult and could use improvement.

    It was a great Disney trip.

    I used the plan with breakfast buffet. The interior, service, and breakfast were all excellent, and I was surprised at how good it was for the price. Also, I appreciated being able to use the Good Neighbor Shuttle Bus. However, it was disappointing that the hairdryer in the room had very weak airflow and was extremely hot to the point of causing burns. Nevertheless, since it was a very nice hotel, I will bring my own hairdryer next time I stay there. Haha Thank you very much.

    The quality of the staff is high.

    The hospitality of the staff around the front desk and bell desk is subtly attentive and dignified. Close to Makuhari Messe.
