    I was satisfied.

    The Room was spacious and clean. We could see the ocean, and the desk and light were very convenient—excellent! Just one thing: maybe I misunderstood, but there was no tissue box in the Room, so I brought one from the bathroom and left it in the Room before going out for dinner. When I came back, it had been replenished in the bathroom, which surprised me. Do staff enter the Room that frequently? The restaurant was also wonderful.

    It was great.

    The Room had some well-worn touches, such as drawer handles, but that added a sense of history and felt comfortable. Everything seemed clean and well maintained. The location was also convenient from the station. It was a comfortable stay.

    Wonderful hospitality

    We stayed here for a Disney trip. We arrived by car a little after 7:00 to catch the 7:45 bus to Disney, and they kindly stored our luggage. Although we couldn’t check in yet, we were able to complete the procedures. When we told them we would be using the parking lot, they processed it as free of charge. From the moment we entered the Hotel, every staff member greeted us warmly and provided excellent service. The Room does show some age, as mentioned in other Reviews, but it was well maintained and clean, so we had no complaints. They also upgraded us to a slightly larger Room than what we had reserved. Breakfast the next morning was delicious as well—every bread item was outstanding!

    Highly satisfied!

    We stayed to celebrate my partner’s birthday. The staff were very courteous, and the Room was spacious and spotless. We chose a Plan that included a puzzle-solving activity, so we could explore the property at our own pace and have fun along the way. In addition to breakfast, we also tried the sweets buffet—everything was delicious, and I ended up eating far too much. Overall, the service was excellent and we were very satisfied! Next time, I’d like to try a different puzzle as well. We’d love to stay again.

    As expected from a long-established property—I’ll stay again. The Facility is a bit dated.

    As expected from Hotel New Otani, the service level is on a whole different level. Being welcomed with a smile even when checking in late at night really warms your heart!! At checkout too, they send you off with a smile. Such kind people. We stayed as three. It’s like most hotels where an extra bed is added to a twin Room, but the extra bed was spacious and fluffy, and we could really recover from our fatigue. Each person had two pillows with different firmness levels, which was very comfortable. The duvet was also nice and fluffy—not the thin kind you often get at business hotels. Last time, it was about 1,000 yen more and we stayed on a three-person Plan (twin Room) with a larger Room. The larger Room might be better value for money. The bathroom is a unit bath—spacious and clean, but the Facility feels old... Adjusting the hot water temperature is tricky. Also, how does the mirror not fog up? I’d like body lotion. I don’t need hair ties. Disposable razors hurt and I bring my own anyway, so I don’t need them either. Having three towels (bath towel, hand towel, and face towel) is amazing. If I had one complaint: the fridge. Without a freezer function, ice cream bought at the convenience store melts!!! Please upgrade it. There are instant coffee, tea, and kelp tea provided, but since I buy drinks myself anyway, just water and coffee would be enough. In the morning there was a Nikkei newspaper delivered; I don’t read it, so please ask at check-in whether it’s needed. If it were horse-racing newsprint instead, I’d want that. Having a Plan with 12:00 checkout as standard is unbelievably great—clearly designed with festivals and live shows in mind. That’s what made me choose this place! I’d like to stay again next time.

    Perfect.

    This was my first stay here. It’s close to the station, and I was soothed by the sunset and the views of the ocean and Mt. Fuji. I was also thrilled to catch the stadium fireworks at just the right time. The staff were quick, courteous, and attentive. It truly felt like a high-class Hotel. Above all, I had a comfortable, stress-free stay. I would love to stay again.

    Relax in Makuhari

    The Facility feels a bit dated, but it is clean. The staff were attentive and considerate, and dinner at Taikanen (Chinese cuisine) was excellent.

    Stay in Makuhari New City for your event

    It was the perfect Accommodation after watching a baseball game at Marine Stadium. I was able to wake up leisurely in the morning and enjoy breakfast at a window-side seat. The breakfast offered a wide variety of Japanese, Western, and Chinese dishes, and I was very satisfied with both the presentation and the taste. I tried their signature roast pork omelet, and it was absolutely delicious. Also, I appreciated the 12:00 check-out time.

    A bit disappointing.

    Because our previous stay was very good, we felt a bit disappointed this time. The Room did not seem to be thoroughly cleaned in some areas. Also, the sheets had a slight unpleasant odor. We could repeatedly hear the sound of toilets flushing from other Rooms early in the morning and late at night, which made it difficult to sleep. The woman who assisted us at check-out was polite and had a nice smile. Will the Receipt be mailed later? We feel the accommodation cost is high.

    It is fairly standard, and while the Facility is well equipped, cleanliness is lacking. The Hotel front desk service was acceptable overall, but the attitude of some staff members was extremely rude.

    We stayed as a family of three. From the moment we arrived at the Hotel, the staff provided pleasant and welcoming service. The Room felt a bit dated in some areas, but it was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and included some local items. The staff’s service remained wonderful until the end, and we would definitely like to stay again.

    A comfortable Hotel with attentive service

    I stayed here for an errand with my elderly mother, who has a physical disability. From the Reservation stage, I informed the staff about her condition, and they arranged a Room close to the elevator and smoothly assisted with reserving a wheelchair. The guest Room was charming and comfortable. For dinner, we ordered Chinese à la carte dishes; the seasoning was refined and everything was delicious. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of options, and we were very satisfied. For lunch, we enjoyed an elegant meal at the Japanese restaurant. The service was warm and unpretentious, and we had a wonderful time. As expected of a long-established Hotel’s quality. Thank you very much.

    It was very good.

    We stayed here after visiting Disney. The Room was smoking-allowed, but it was kept so clean that we could hardly notice any smell. For two people, we received meal coupons worth 10,000 yen. Since no change is given, we could choose either two 5,000-yen coupons or ten 1,000-yen coupons. For lunch the next day, we had teppanyaki at Keyaki. The chef has been working here for 33 years since Hotel New Otani Makuhari first opened, and he was very reassuring. We were extremely satisfied. The strawberry sorbet and tea served for dessert after moving to another area were also delicious. We will stay again! I’ve always been a big fan of SATSUKI, so next time I’d like to visit SATSUKI as well. Thank you very much!

    I was able to stay at a great price.

    This Hotel is near Kaihin-Makuhari Station on the Keiyo Line, making it convenient from DisneySea.\nSince we were at the park from early morning until night, we were tired and slept soundly.\nThere are plenty of shopping and other Facility options around the Hotel, which was very convenient.

    Close to Makuhari Messe

    Used this hotel when attending a music festival at Makuhari Messe. It was convenient to be able to go back and forth via the connecting walkway. The pull handle on the washroom door is still broken, so I would like it to be repaired. I would like to stay here again when I visit Makuhari Messe.

    An Affordable Yet Elegant Solo Trip

    The view from the top-floor lounge was amazing. The Room was also very comfortable—a sea-view corner twin with lovely floral decor. With an excellent off-season Plan that included JPY 5,000 in credit, we were able to cover both the lounge cakes and a delicious Chinese dinner. One downside was that we were only informed at the last minute that a TV crew would be filming during breakfast, which was disappointing. We could decline the interview, but if we had known in advance, we would have avoided that time and enjoyed a calmer meal. Still, this is a great Hotel for a spontaneous getaway from the city to see the ocean. I’d definitely like to stay again.

    The Best Breakfast

    I stayed here to coincide with my child’s event because I wanted to try the SATSUKI buffet. Everything was delicious, just as the Reviews said—especially the omelet rice and rice balls! Next time, I’d love to try the lunch buffet as well.

    It was a very good Hotel.

    We stayed for one night as a couple. We were upgraded to a Balcony Suite. The Marine Stadium was right in front of us, the view was great, and we had a very comfortable stay. The bathroom area was spacious, with a large bathtub and a separate shower booth, which was very convenient. The bathrobes were also appreciated. I think two-piece loungewear would be better. Since it was our first time staying here, we couldn’t find the parking lot location and got a little lost. At the breakfast buffet, in addition to the omelet station, there was an onigiri station where they made them fresh on the spot. The takoyaki was also surprisingly good. Since we like alcohol, it would be nice to have a minibar or vending machines on each floor. When I asked via the AI chat, I was told there were vending machines on the 1st and 2nd floors, but I don’t think there was one on the 1st floor. The highball in the 2nd-floor vending machine was TORYS; if possible, I’d prefer Kakubin (laugh). It was also inconvenient that new 1,000-yen bills could not be used. Since the 2nd floor didn’t seem to be used much, having a shop or convenience store would be helpful. We considered Room service as well, but felt it was a bit expensive.

    [Holiday Use]

    I was not aware that the members-only spa (pool & sauna) closes at 8:00 PM on public holidays and is closed the day after a public holiday, so I was unable to use it on either day. I would have appreciated being informed at check-in. I will be more careful in the future when staying over public holidays. Thank you for your assistance.

    Highly satisfied.

    Thank you so much for all your help during our stay. We stayed at the Hotel for a graduation ceremony held at a venue near the Hotel. You kindly accommodated an early-morning kimono dressing, and after the ceremony you also guided us to take photos with the diploma certificate—thank you for everything. The hakama was comfortable until the end of the ceremony and stayed perfectly in place. When it was time for photos, the person who dressed me in the morning even came again to check and adjust it, which made the day truly wonderful. The Room was spacious enough for three of us, even with large suitcases opened, and the extra bed was very comfortable as well. I am also truly grateful that you smoothly introduced a clinic when my mother started feeling unwell. The cake we had at SATSUKI was exactly what you’d expect from SATSUKI—absolutely delicious. This is definitely our number one choice of Hotel in Makuhari. Thank you very much.

    The service is as consistently reliable as always… I think?

    I stayed here for an event at Makuhari Messe. Whenever I stay in Makuhari, I always choose this Hotel. The Room is spacious and clean, and I’m very satisfied. However, without going into details, when I asked again just to be sure about something I had confirmed by phone in advance and was told was OK, I was given a slightly different answer. In fact, I’ve asked the same thing before and received the same response each time, but this time—while it wasn’t exactly denied—I was told something different for the first time. Even when I said that I had confirmed it by phone, the response was along the lines of “Well, that’s because of XX, so as much as possible…” I would like the answers to be consistent. If it’s not possible, I’ll consider other options next time. Maybe it’s because I’m only an occasional guest, but for the first time in a while, the service at a Hotel really irritated me. Everyone else was pleasant, which made it even more disappointing—though I don’t know his age—that only one middle-aged to older male staff member left a bad impression.

    It became an unforgettable memory.

    I stayed here to spend some quality time with my daughter. The lobby was beautiful, and I felt excited the moment we entered the building. The cakes sold in the lounge came in a wide variety and all looked delicious! We bought two and headed to our Room. The Room with a wide window overlooking the ocean was amazing. Everything was impeccably clean, and the interior felt luxurious, which really lifted our spirits. The bathroom was also spacious enough to relax comfortably. Breakfast was wonderful as well—an omelet, many kinds of bread, and a great selection of drinks. The seat we were shown to had a lovely view, which made us very happy. There wasn’t a single disappointing point; throughout our stay my daughter and I kept saying, “This is amazing—let’s come back again.” Thank you for giving us unforgettable memories. We will definitely stay again.

    As expected of a long-established Hotel.

    To be honest, I didn’t have high expectations at first, but this is truly a Japanese Hotel. The warm atmosphere and the staff’s hospitality made me feel very comfortable. Breakfast was also carefully prepared, dish by dish, and it was delicious. It’s not just about having a lot of options, is it? The bar on the top floor also offered pleasant service, and I had a wonderful time. I’m sorry for saying I didn’t expect much. I will definitely come again. Thank you very much.

    The breakfast was terrible.

    I stayed for two nights, but only about five items changed; the rest was the same as the previous day. There were many egg dishes (Onsen egg, boiled eggs, rolled omelet, scrambled eggs, and omelets), and for some reason there were also yudofu and takoyaki. For rice options, there were white rice, brown rice, and rice porridge, plus kama-age udon and ramen. There were also items that seemed like frozen foods such as broccoli and mango, hash browns, and shrimp dumplings. There were salads, granola, bread, etc., but the quality did not feel like a Hotel breakfast. The service was good, which made it very disappointing.
