We extend our heartfelt sympathies to everyone affected by the earthquake that occurred in Kumamoto on Tuesday, July 28, 2026.
Our group operates a Hotel in Kumamoto Prefecture, and since immediately after the earthquake, we have been responding with the highest priority on ensuring the safety of our guests and employees. At this time, no injuries to guests or employees have been confirmed.
KOKO STAY Kumamoto Yatsushiro will suspend operations for the time being. We will provide an update on reopening as soon as we can confirm safety and assess restoration progress.
Due to this suspension, all Reservations with stays through Wednesday, September 30, 2026 will be canceled.
We sincerely apologize for the significant inconvenience and concern this may cause to guests who have made Reservations.
To prioritize guest safety, we are also temporarily suspending acceptance of new Accommodation Reservations for the time being.
Cancellations are accepted free of charge for stays through Wednesday, September 30. Please complete the procedure via the Reservation site where you made your Reservation.
We will announce when we resume accepting Reservations after confirming the situation.
Please note that as we are currently prioritizing on-site response efforts, we are unable to handle inquiries by phone at this time.
