  • Notice of Temporary Closure Due to Earthquake Impact

    We extend our heartfelt sympathies to everyone affected by the earthquake that occurred in Kumamoto on Tuesday, July 28, 2026.

    At KOKO STAY Kumamoto Yatsushiro, we have suspended operations since the earthquake, placing the highest priority on the safety of our guests and staff. While we have been conducting safety inspections and restoration work toward reopening, our investigation has found that the damage to the building is far more extensive than initially expected. As a result, we are currently unable to provide an estimated date for reopening.

    Accordingly, all existing Reservations will be canceled. Reservation cancellations will be accepted free of charge for all Reservations. We apologize for the inconvenience and kindly ask you to complete the cancellation procedure via the booking site where you made your Reservation.

    We sincerely apologize for the significant inconvenience and concern this may cause to guests with existing Reservations.
