    November’s theme is “An Evening Touring the Fine Sake of Kyotamba: A Cross-Pairing Dinner Featuring Tamba Wine and ‘Choro,’ with Choro Shuzo Owner & Master Brewer Wataru Terai.” We are pleased to welcome Mr. Wataru Terai, owner and master brewer (Toji) of Choro Shuzo, the only sake brewery in Kyotamba Town, where sake is crafted using locally grown Tamba sake rice “Gohyakumangoku” and Kyotamba underground water.
    At this dinner, bringing together a leading local winery and sake brewery from Kyotamba, we will offer cross-pairings designed to highlight each other’s unique character. Pairings are planned to include selections such as Choro Shuzo’s “Junmai Ginjo Nama Genshu (Brewery-Exclusive)” and Tamba Wine’s “Kyoto Tamba Pinot Noir 2023,” among others. Enjoy a special dinner course featuring seasonal ingredients alongside wines produced by Tamba Wine and sake from Choro Shuzo, and fully experience the distinctive personalities and flavors of each.

Take National Route 9 toward Ayabe, then turn onto Prefectural Route 444 at Suchi Intersection. Turn left at the “Ajimu no Sato” sign.
- About 20 minutes by car from JR Sonobe Station.
- About a 1-minute walk from the Kyotamba Town Bus “Ajimu no Sato” stop.
