    We visited with our dog to celebrate my parents’ 60th birthday.The staff were kind, and the Ryokan was welcoming to both people and dogs. We were very satisfied with the meals! The Room and the in-room bath were spacious and very comfortable.Thank you very much.

  • A dog-friendly Ryokan where your pup comes first

    Thank you very much for taking care of us during our stay. Although the number of dog-friendly Ryokan and Hotels has been gradually increasing, there are still many restrictions, and this was the place where we truly enjoyed staying the most. Being able to have both dinner and breakfast served in our Room was something we really appreciated, and it was the most important point when choosing an Accommodation. The portion sizes were just right, and everything was very delicious. The complimentary chicken meatloaf meal for our dog also seemed very tasty, and even our picky eater ate it eagerly. The staff were warm and welcoming, the Room was clean and comfortable, and we felt this is a Ryokan we would love to visit again. Thank you very much.

A hot-spring retreat shaped by 1,200 years of history. Since it was first opened by Dengyo Daishi, Ogoto Onsen has been renowned for its high-quality water and abundant flow. Our baths use natural spring water from the source. Enjoy Ogoto Onsen, known for its skin-beautifying benefits and many other therapeutic effects.

In August 2021, two top-floor guest Rooms with a semi-open-air Onsen bath, “Ten no Kaze,” opened, and three second-floor pet-friendly guest Rooms with an open-air Onsen bath also opened!     An easy-to-use car-sharing service for tourists and local residents, improving convenience.
    How to use:
    → Membership registration via the TOYOTA SHARE app is required.
    Registration may take from 1 day up to about 3 days.

    ■ 3-Passenger Electric Bike (Tuk-tuk) ■

    A standard driver’s license is required.

    ■ Electric Kick Scooter ■
    Ideal for getting around the Onsen town and between sightseeing spots—for a smart travel experience.
    No driver’s license required (ages 16+); helmet recommended.
    How to use:

  • Toyotomi Brothers! Northern Lake Biwa Nagahama Taiga Drama Museum

    About 90 minutes from our property.
    The “Taiga Drama Museum” is a limited-time exhibition where you can explore the appeal of the Taiga drama “Toyotomi Brothers!” in greater depth through displays of costumes and props from the program, special feature panels, and original footage available only here.

    Enjoy exhibits unique to Nagahama, a place closely associated with the brothers Hideyoshi and Hidenaga, who raced through the Sengoku era and went on to achieve the great feat of unifying Japan.
