    Thank you for another comfortable stay. It was my first winter visit to Shimane, and both the crab-focused cuisine of Oki and the staff's excellent service were as wonderful as ever. This accommodation always feels pleasant no matter how many times I visit. I look forward to making a reservation again in a different season from my previous visits.

    Simply wonderful.

    This was the number one accommodation I have ever stayed at. The cuisine was exceptional, not only in taste but also in presentation and arrangement. I requested a small pairing of sake, but it was so delicious that I regretted not asking for more. The staff service, room, and bath were all perfect with no complaints—truly outstanding. Although it is far away and difficult to visit often, I definitely want to stay here again. With its great location, next time I plan to enjoy a multiple night stay at a leisurely pace.

    A Blissful Moment

    The service, cuisine, room, and furnishings were all excellent. The staff paid attention to every detail from the moment we arrived until we left. Both dinner and breakfast were visually stunning and absolutely delicious. Each dish was meticulously prepared, and the tableware was beautiful. The room was clean and comfortable, and the bath with onsen water was incredibly relaxing at any time of our choosing. It was an exceptional accommodation that makes us want to visit again.

    A promising Japanese-style auberge for the future

    A unique Japanese-style auberge. The Facility and amenities are new, sophisticated, and highly satisfying. The cuisine reflects the chef's rich creativity, with a handmade touch that is evident in both taste and decoration—truly impeccable. Even the tableware is carefully selected with a playful spirit. However, the greatest highlight of this Hotel is the staff's passion for hospitality. While there may still be room for growth, their dedication to improvement is commendable. If I were to point out any drawbacks, it would be regarding the semi-open-air bath. Although well-maintained, it can feel cold during late autumn and winter; perhaps adding waterproof heaters could help? Additionally, while ensuring 24-hour access to the open-air bath might be appreciated by some guests, I found that it created some noise during otherwise quiet nights. Despite not being a famous brand-name establishment, this Hotel exceeded my expectations and was truly wonderful. I plan to visit again next year during Kamiarizuki (the month of gods).

    A blissful accommodation filled with heartfelt hospitality

    Our flight to Izumo Airport was significantly delayed, causing us to miss the bus. We decided to take a train to Izumo Taisha Station but missed a transfer and ended up heading in the wrong direction. We found ourselves at an unmanned station late at night, unable to secure a taxi despite contacting several companies. Feeling completely stranded, the accommodation kindly arranged for a taxi and even had it pick us up from the pitch-dark unmanned station. The warm hospitality and thoughtful assistance of the staff brought tears of gratitude to our eyes. The accommodation itself was impeccably clean and modern, with an atmosphere so refined it felt like being in an art museum—a space that seemed divinely protected just by being there. As two women unfamiliar with this area who were practically lost, we have never experienced such warmth and care from any other accommodation. When visiting Izumo again, we will undoubtedly stay here once more. Thank you so much!

    It was a wonderful trip.

    I stayed at the accommodation to visit Izumo Taisha. I appreciated being guided to the parking lot. I was also thrilled when my room was upgraded upon check-in. The room's onsen bath was very comfortable, and features like a large TV and a kotatsu made it an incredibly pleasant space to relax in. The meals were delicious, and the staff's dedicated service left a positive impression. It was such a wonderful accommodation that I definitely want to return when visiting Izumo Taisha again. The early morning visit to the shrine was refreshing and spiritually uplifting. The only slight disappointment was the view from the open-air bath; it would have been perfect if there had been a wider view (if the wall height were slightly lower). The tableware and furnishings were also exquisite, leaving me deeply impressed. Thank you so much for this amazing experience!

    I fell in love with Izumo.

    I was deeply impressed by the staff's warm smiles, exceptional service, and the delicious cuisine. Every dish and the recommended drinks were outstanding, leaving me amazed at every turn. The head chef personally greeted us at our table before the meal and even saw us off after dining, which was a thoughtful gesture that truly touched my heart. Although I usually cannot finish a full course meal, this time I surprised myself by finishing both dinner and breakfast completely. The accommodation is conveniently located near Izumo Taisha Shrine, allowing for an early morning visit to experience its serene atmosphere. This was my first trip to Izumo, but thanks to this wonderful accommodation, it became an unforgettable journey that made me fall in love with Izumo. I look forward to visiting again.

    Everything was satisfactory.

    The room itself is compact, but the amenities, staff knowledge, and service are truly impressive—I stayed here last year as well and was deeply moved. Above all, as many reviews mention, the food is absolutely delicious. If there were a lunch option nearby, I would visit frequently. This year again, I had an early morning visit to Izumo Taisha Shrine and it made for a very satisfying trip. Thank you very much to all the staff!

    An accommodation you'll want to stay at again and again

    After careful consideration, we chose this accommodation, and it exceeded our expectations so much that we stayed here five times within a year. The meals, crafted with the chef's dedication, are truly delicious—so much so that we even watch what we eat during the day to fully enjoy the food at the accommodation. Additionally, interacting with the staff is always a pleasure; their attentiveness and conversations make us look forward to seeing them again. The room is, of course, wonderful, as are the tableware and interior of the facility. It’s also conveniently located near Izumo Taisha Shrine. We will definitely stay here again!

    A Supreme Experience

    The room was very clean. High-quality amenities were provided, which lifted my spirits. Additionally, the staff's excellent service made my stay very pleasant. The meals were delicious from appetizers to desserts, and I was completely satisfied. The refined flavor of the broth was especially impressive. The clay pot rice is a must for seconds! If I have another chance to visit Izumo, I would love to stay at this accommodation again. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

    Large number of staff available

    The staff was abundant and well-organized, creating a very relaxed atmosphere. The interior design was wonderful, and the food was absolutely delicious. One concern was the dust on top of the shoe cabinet in the Room. It was enough to scatter when blown on, which might indicate it has been overlooked during cleaning inspections.

    Excellent. Flawless... Room Location Dining Service Cost Performance ...everything is perfect. I've stayed at numerous accommodations, but it's hard to find any negatives here. I'm even worried about it becoming too popular and not being able to make a reservation...

    Hmm, what do you think?

    Perhaps my expectations were too high after reading everyone's comments. The meals were delicious, and the presentation and tableware were excellent. However, the staff's explanations were lengthy, and being asked for feedback on each dish became a bit tiring as multiple staff members approached us one after another. We would have preferred to enjoy the meal at our own pace. Additionally, since there are no partitions in the dining area, we found it exhausting to endure the loud conversations of an older pair of women that went on endlessly. The Room felt a bit cramped due to the lack of windows, and the provided yukata was stiff and uncomfortable to wear. As for the refrigerator drinks, having just one small bottle of beer would have been nice; two bottles of soda felt unnecessary—something like amazake would have been more appreciated. For this price range Hotel, it felt somewhat lacking overall. The shower also had issues with hot water not coming out consistently; since there is no large public bath available, proper maintenance should be ensured beforehand. Lastly, I should have requested a humidifier in advance.

    It was the best moment.

    Everything was absolutely perfect. We stayed in the "Shiran" room with a semi-open-air bath. The Onsen was amazing, leaving our skin feeling soft and smooth right away. The amenities were well-prepared, and the dressing area was equipped with air conditioning and heating for optimal comfort. The towels and bath towels were gentle and easy to use, making our stay even more pleasant. Even the toilet paper had been carefully selected for ease of use! The room itself was clean and very comfortable to spend time in. For dinner, the head chef personally greeted each group, saying they would put their heart into preparing our meal! They had contacted us beforehand to check for any allergies or disliked ingredients, adjusting the menu accordingly. Every dish served was absolutely delicious. The tableware seemed to be custom-made as well, adding an extra touch of enjoyment to our dining experience—truly unforgettable! Breakfast also exceeded expectations; each table received piping hot clam miso soup served in a unique pot—it was fantastic. During dinner, we tried some local sake that we really enjoyed. When we asked a staff member where it could be purchased, they kindly provided us with information—and by breakfast the next morning, they had even printed out directions to a nearby liquor store! We were deeply touched by this thoughtful gesture. Every staff member's smile and hospitality left us feeling moved beyond words—it truly felt like one of those rare moments you cherish forever. Next time, we'd love to stay for multiple nights until we're completely satisfied! Thank you so much for everything!

    The atmosphere of the accommodation and the room matched perfectly with the ambiance of Izumo Taisha. Additionally, each meal was carefully prepared, and even the tableware was lovely.     This was my first stay at this accommodation. It is conveniently located near Izumo Taisha, and the hotel was clean and pleasant. I enjoyed the sake pairing experience this time. The staff selected sake to match the dishes, and it was absolutely delicious. The food was also excellent, and the tableware was very elegant. Even though I felt full, I found myself enjoying more because the combination of sake and food was perfect. The staff's hospitality was very comfortable as well.     The ultimate accommodation you’ll want to stay at at least once in your lifetime

    I stayed here for one night on my first trip to Izumo. (Dinner & breakfast included Plan) Everything was exceptional—the phone support, the service at the front desk, and the cleanliness of the Room. In particular, the meals prepared by the head chef using local ingredients were outstanding!!!! The staff who served the dishes were also wonderfully attentive, and I was truly impressed. I would definitely like to stay here again when I visit Izumo. Thank you very much!

    Consistent Satisfaction

    This was my third stay, and once again, it was a truly satisfying experience. As an auberge, the focus is on the meals, which are consistently delicious and beautifully presented. You can feel the dedication of the young chef and staff working together to perfect every detail. The service at the restaurant is impeccable—truly top-notch. On top of that, having an Onsen in the room available 24 hours a day is simply delightful. I will definitely visit again!

The chef, who is from a highly sought-after restaurant in Kyoto, provided delicious meals. It was enjoyable to see new techniques being tried.     The standard room was very clean and user-friendly. It felt like a designer hotel, with art pieces placed throughout, making it enjoyable to explore the facility. The meals, both breakfast and dinner, were the best I've ever had at any accommodation! Each local ingredient was perfectly flavorful! Every bite was truly delicious. As someone who loves tableware, I found all of them beautiful. When I asked about a particular plate that caught my eye, they promptly provided an answer. Its proximity to Izumo Taisha Shrine is also very convenient. I would love to visit again!

    Impressive!

    This trip was for visiting Izumo Taisha, and since this accommodation, recommended by a friend, is located right near the shrine, it was an easy choice to make the reservation. As someone who travels monthly and has become accustomed to excellent accommodations, I must say this place left me truly impressed after a long time. The location is perfect, the room was clean and very comfortable (with an onsen in the room), and above all, the hospitality and delicious meals were exceptional! Truly a wonderful accommodation. I’m also grateful to my friend who recommended it. We reserved three rooms for our group of friends and thoroughly enjoyed both meals and drinks in our rooms. Despite making various requests to the staff during our stay, they responded warmly beyond expectations—thank you so much for your kind assistance. Spending time with friends at such a comfortable accommodation was so enjoyable that we ended up drinking too much in excitement... At one point I stepped out into the hallway to check if we were being too loud with our room drinks but found no issues—the soundproofing seems solidly built. While there seem to be affordable izakayas serving fresh seafood around Izumo City, if you stay here I highly recommend having your meals at this accommodation instead. Both dinner and breakfast were so outstanding that I’d consider revisiting just for their food! Everyone absolutely loved this place—it’s now on all of our revisit lists!
